I visited Yakage Accommodation last year as well. This year, I made a last-minute reservation and was able to stay at Kura Inn. Unfortunately, the nearby bathing facility seems to be under renovation this year. Staying in a building with a historical atmosphere is always enjoyable. The room is compact but equipped with new facilities like a sink, toilet, and shower room, making it comfortable. It would be nice to have additional hooks or shelves near the sink or air conditioner. While tea is provided in the room, having some small snacks would be appreciated. It would also be great if cleansing products, lotion, emulsion, face masks, headbands, and cotton swabs were available either in the room or at the front desk. Since the buildings look similar in design, having a clear marker for the front desk would help. The parking area was hard to locate; prior information about where to park would be helpful.
The meals were served in a historically rich dining space and featured beautifully presented seasonal seafood that was absolutely delicious! However, the air conditioning felt too cold during dinner time. Breakfast was also delightful; enjoying it while overlooking the garden added charm—grilled fish along with sweet rolled omelets and creatively arranged side dishes and salads were all incredibly tasty!
