We stayed here with relatives. The service was excellent, and the meals were delicious. The portions are generous, so guests with smaller appetites may want to ask in advance. It is a wonderful Accommodation with thoughtful attention to detail.

We stay here every August with my three sisters’ families. This year we were lucky with the weather and had a great time in the pool, enjoyed table tennis, and both my daughter and grandchildren were very satisfied. They also prepared a private dining room for dinner, so we could eat without worrying even when our 2-year-old grandchild was running around. Of course, the food was delicious. All of the staff were very kind, and we are especially grateful for the service at dinner. We plan to stay again next year.

I stayed here on my motorcycle, and it rained that day, so I wasn’t sure where to park it. They kindly let me store it in the warehouse, which was a huge help. Thank you. It would have been perfect if the Facility had a coin laundry! If I’m in the area again, I’d love to stay here again.

We visited as a group of six: a family of four with two brothers (an older brother in kindergarten and a younger brother who will soon turn 2), plus grandpa and grandma. Our younger child is at an age where he can’t sit still, so even eating out is usually a bit challenging. That’s why we chose this Accommodation, where we could relax without worrying about others. It turned out to be truly wonderful. At a regular park you have to constantly worry about kids running off, but here the area is enclosed, which was such a relief! Some of the play equipment was still a bit advanced for our 1-year-old, but there was also a swing and plenty of outdoor toys, so I think he had an amazing time. They also had various toys prepared indoors, so we didn’t have any “I don’t want to go inside!!” tantrums either. We were grateful they even provided bath bombs! Our kids were thrilled with Thomas toys, drawing on the windows, and the night lights too. Our plan was to arrive around noon to play outside and then start BBQ when check-in time came—but around noon it was still drizzling. After seeing the yard, the kids went straight into “we want to play anyway” mode and played while getting a little wet. When the rain got heavier partway through, we headed to a nearby supermarket for a while. By the way, bringing sneakers, sandals, and rain boots for this trip turned out to be the right choice! On our stay date it stopped raining during BBQ time so it worked out fine, but we did find ourselves wishing there were more cover extending over where the tables are set up. Of course there’s some effort involved in preparing most things ourselves, but having energetic kids and not needing to worry about other guests’ eyes made it genuinely stress-free. This was the most relaxing and enjoyable trip with children we’ve ever had!

I am a company owner and stay at accommodations in the Kanto area for business twice a month. Over the past 18 years, I have stayed at more than 300 accommodations. I started using this accommodation on November 17, 2025 (Reiwa 7). This is the fourth accommodation I've stayed at in Shirako Onsen, and for me, it was "the best." The quality of the onsen water and the atmosphere of the open-air bath were perfect for me. The meals were also outstanding—the variety of dishes was excellent, and I was deeply moved when they brought out a rice cooker so we could enjoy unlimited servings of freshly cooked rice. Their thoughtfulness truly touched my heart. I believe this is likely a family-run hotel; everyone was kind-hearted and gentle, which made my stay very comforting. However, aren't some reviews too harsh? To those who gave low ratings to this hotel—do you even understand their accommodation fee? Personally, I found this hotel to be excellent and will definitely stay here again. Thank you to all the staff for your hospitality!

This was my third BUB location after Yatsugatake and Tsukuba, and at every site the crew are energetic and upbeat—it’s always overwhelming in a good way. Also, there’s no time to pack or change clothes; activities run nonstop. The kids stay totally engaged and never get bored. The cottages cost more, but I recommend them. With tents, you have to go outside to use the toilet at night even in heavy rain or strong winds, so it looked tough for the tent guests. Note that pajamas and a body wash towel were not provided, so please be aware of this. I recommend bringing a change of clothes, swimwear, and rain boots. The meals were just right—not too many options and not too few—and it was nice to have local Chiba items like clams, peanuts, and pear wine as well. I heard BUB will be opening a new location in Minakami (Gunma), so I’d like to visit next time.

We were satisfied with the meals, the Onsen, and the service. We were clearly informed that a group would be arriving later, so we were able to use the bath when it was less crowded and manage accordingly.
