As we did last year, we stayed again this year with three generations. On the first day, the two of us enjoyed a quiet, relaxing time; on the second day, our grandchildren joined us and we had a lively BBQ—an absolutely wonderful stay. The rooms are clean and spacious. The bedding is very comfortable, and we love having morning coffee on the terrace. With two separate bedrooms, it’s very convenient for three generations, two generations, or even two couples traveling together. If you have a car, you can reach bakeries, roadside stations (Michi-no-Eki), and local markets within about 30 minutes in most cases—just exploring those places is fun in itself. The hospitality is excellent: they respond quickly if anything comes up, and the advance information about nearby shops was truly helpful. The only minor drawback was that the air conditioner’s automatic self-cleaning suddenly started at 11:00 PM, and we couldn’t figure out how to stop it right away. We’d love to visit once every year.

I stayed here to relax and unwind on my own. From the exterior alone it was exactly my style, and the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted by the wonderful scent of wood—perfect. Although it’s surrounded by nature, there are shops nearby, so I felt safe and comfortable even traveling solo. The room was spotless and very comfortable. We stayed here to celebrate a birthday trip. They delivered an externally ordered cake from their partner Kazeka to our Room exactly as requested, and everything—the Room, the open-air bath, the meals, and the hospitality of the staff—was truly wonderful. It was a very satisfying stay, and we would love to visit again if we have the chance. Thank you very much.

We were soothed by the greenery visible through the large windows and enjoyed a relaxing, luxurious stay. The weather was great, and it was wonderful to have tea and breakfast outside while listening to birdsong. We were also deeply moved by an unexpected surprise—a herd of deer came to graze nearby. We would love to visit again.

We stayed with our 5-year-old daughter to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We were originally looking for an auberge around the Yatsugatake area, but there are only a limited number of Accommodations that welcome small children. This Accommodation not only allows children (they truly make them feel welcome!), and I had long been interested in aqua tourism, so we decided right away. It turned out to be the perfect choice! We were moved by the open, expansive view from the living room and impressed by the tasteful touches throughout. Soon after arriving, we walked to a nearby field for the vegetable harvesting experience our daughter had been looking forward to. Surrounded by clear air at the foot of Yatsugatake’s magnificent nature, she touched the soil and picked colorful seasonal vegetables—an incredibly fresh and valuable experience that’s hard to have in the city. Our daughter is usually very shy with strangers, but she quickly warmed up to the owners’ kind personalities. We were amazed to see her happily harvesting vegetables with the husband on her own, away from us. The meals honored the natural flavors of each ingredient, and our whole family was genuinely impressed. The husband mentioned his cooking isn’t flashy, but it was truly exceptional—food that conveyed his love for ingredients and his desire to share deliciousness with others, nourishing both body and soul. They also pay great attention to tableware, so it was a pleasure enjoying not only the food but also admiring each piece. They prepared a children’s meal plate for our daughter, but it was so delicious that she also ate from our dishes—and even had seconds at breakfast and finished everything. Before checkout on day two, we joined a herbal tea blending experience. The wife taught us gently and carefully, and our daughter enjoyed it as well. It was educational, and her calm presence made it a soothing time. At checkout, while we were busy getting ready to leave, they kindly kept our daughter company. Seeing how attached she had become truly touched us. The couple’s warm personalities and thoughtful care, wonderful food, rich surrounding nature setting,, beautiful interior details—everything was outstandingand left us feeling warm inside.. I think this is an ideal Accommodation for relaxing slowly at your own pace. Onon thhe way home,, myy daughteer murmured,, “I won’t getto see big brotherand big sister anymore? I wantto see them again.” We would lovee tto return in another season. Thank you very much for everything.

You were satisfied with everything—the room size, quietness, bathroom, hospitality, and breakfast. For dinner, we were even given a ride to our favorite restaurant and enjoyed wine together.

We stayed here during the winter last time, so this time we came in a different season. It was an amazing hotel as always!! This time, we also visited “Mokumoku-yu,” which we didn’t have enough time to go to on our previous trip. The water temperature was just right, and while the facilities feel a bit old, everything is clean, so we were able to relax and enjoy our time there. The activities vary by season as well. This time we joined the firefly viewing tour, and the guide explained everything carefully. We even had the very rare experience of having a firefly land on our hand. It seems to have become a wonderful memory for our children—they still bring it up sometimes even now. We’re truly glad we joined! The pool even has waves at times, and there are always several lifeguards on duty, so we can comfortably bring our kids with peace of mind. As for dining, Waiwai Grill was delicious as expected, and the shops along Piman Street had been updated—those were excellent too. Our family especially loved the cheese factory shop. The bakery that’s been there for years is consistently great as well. Thank you very much!

It was almost ¥20,000 even with No Meals Included during Silver Week, but we were grateful because it’s hard to find a place that can accommodate 7 people plus a pet. The location is very convenient near the station: the roadside station (Michi-no-Eki), RISONARE, and a convenience store are just a few minutes’ walk away; a local supermarket is about 10 minutes by car; and there’s also a burger shop right in front. The Facility was very clean, but the equipment had some issues. When we tried to use two hot plates for dinner, neither of them heated up. After contacting staff, we waited about 30 minutes before they were replaced. Also, we couldn’t use the oven function on the microwave oven to bake pizza, and since there was no toaster for bread the next morning either, we could only warm it using the fish grill. The appliances look stylish, but they weren’t very user-friendly. The washer-dryer was extremely helpful. There are four double beds, but if you have older children, three single beds plus two futon sets might be better. If I had to say one thing, for large groups it would be more helpful to have two sinks rather than an extra shower room. Our dog seemed to enjoy it as there is also a dog run overall we were satisfied. We’d like to stay again during a cheaper season.

All guests were dog families, so the atmosphere was very comfortable, and everyone had good manners when interacting with one another, allowing us to relax without worry even on a rainy day.

Conveniently located next to a roadside station and very close to the expressway interchange. Although we stayed without meals, we were able to enjoy dinner at our own pace at the popular Chinese restaurant on the top floor, choosing exactly what we wanted. The guest room had the feel of a typical resort hotel and showed a bit of age, but it was spacious, and with the quiet surroundings we slept very well. What stood out most was the hot spring reserved exclusively for overnight guests. Guests can also use the day-use hot spring, which receives high reviews, but to me it felt quite different. With fewer overnight guests, it can feel almost private depending on the time of day, and more importantly, the richness—or freshness—of the water was on another level. Even the color was different. I think this is a rare facility where you can experience excellent hot springs in an excellent setting.

We stayed here with our baby (6 months old). Tucked away in a quiet forest, the Accommodation was filled with the warmth of wood from the moment we stepped inside, and everything was spotless, creating a truly relaxing atmosphere. The tatami-style Japanese room accessible by ladder was also great, and there was enough space to sleep with our child even on the large bed, which really helped. In addition, there were plenty of towels and both a washer and dryer, making it very convenient for families with children. It’s an Accommodation we would love to stay at again.

I was a little worried that, because the capacity is small, it might feel lonely, but it wasn’t an issue at all. In fact, we didn’t have to worry about neighbors, and it was wonderful to see the open fields and wide sky, Mt. Kitadake in the distance, and even catch a glimpse of the train passing by. The game-meat BBQ was delicious—both the meat and vegetables—and we were able to relax by the campfire under the night sky. Our whole family had a very satisfying holiday.

We enjoyed a one-night, two-day stay with sauna, BBQ, and a campfire. Although we were worried that the BBQ and sauna might be cold due to the season, the campfire made it comfortable and enjoyable! The Facility inside was well-equipped, making us wonder if it was really okay to use it at this price. We would love to stay again if we have another opportunity!

We stayed for one night starting August 28. After finishing the Hakushu Distillery tour, we checked in around 4:00 PM and enjoyed the garden BBQ from 6:00 PM. Everything was delicious—beef, pork, and seafood, as well as the yakisoba served at the end, salt rice balls, and even dessert—and we were completely satisfied both physically and mentally. The bath is available 24 hours a day, and the far-infrared effect of the stone tub warmed us through to our core. From our Room, we had a stunning view of Mt. Fuji—an unbeatable location. The owner was also very friendly; we enjoyed chatting with them and had a truly relaxing time. This is a pension we would definitely like to stay at again.

Last time, you kindly helped us by phone with last-minute changes, and your service was extremely polite and friendly. Your quick response was also very helpful. This is our second stay, and the Room is always very clean, with everything we need provided—easy to understand and very convenient. The surrounding nature is wonderful as well, and we always have a pleasant stay here. I think it’s especially great for longer stays.

I stayed with my beloved dog and 2-year-old child. The private bath was spacious and very relaxing, and the restaurant for dinner was wonderful and memorable. Both the accommodation and the restaurant were pet-friendly, making our stay extremely comfortable. We would love to visit again as a family. The Halloween decorations matched the atmosphere perfectly and were lovely.
