Three colleagues and I stayed here. We were very satisfied with the variety of dishes at dinner and breakfast, the service, and the bath. Great value for money.

I visited with friends. I loved the interior, and I was completely satisfied with everything, including the bedroom. The sunrise views from the living room and bedroom were especially amazing, and we had a wonderful start to the day. The sauna was also top-notch, and it was fantastic to be able to look up at the starry sky from the relaxation area. It was also great that we could enjoy it both in the morning and at night. I’d love to come again.

I was looking for a cost-effective place near the station as I planned to check in around 9 PM and check out before 8 AM the next morning. The Room's size, cleanliness, bed comfort, and shower pressure were all excellent. Breakfast was served quickly and was very satisfying. The staff at the front desk were kind and very pleasant. This is a Hotel I will definitely use whenever I visit Atami.

This is our annual summer family trip with three generations. We book two Rooms, and we truly appreciate that you arrange them next to each other. The baths are amazing—wonderful Onsen! The food is delicious with a wide variety of options, and all the staff are so kind and helpful. It’s an outstanding Hotel. My mother was left partially paralyzed after a cerebral hemorrhage and has limited mobility, so we wondered if this might be our last trip together—but this year again, our whole family was able to come. We hope my mother and father stay healthy so we can all return next year as well. This is the best Hotel for creating wonderful memories on our yearly family trips. Please take care of yourselves, and keep up the great work. I’ll be visiting with friends in October too, and I’m looking forward to coming back again. Located near Yugawara’s Manyo Park, the Hotel is a comfortable size and it was enjoyable to walk around inside. Dinner was a course meal served at the table, and the staff were efficient, allowing us to relax. It was great to enjoy both the open-air bath for Hotel guests and the one for general visitors. The front desk staff were also very courteous.

This was my repeat stay. This time I stayed in the “Tasogare” Room, and its calm atmosphere allowed me to truly relax. As someone who enjoys alcohol, the all-inclusive plan—where I can enjoy my favorite drinks without worrying about extra charges—is a major highlight unique to this Accommodation. Because you can take your time without watching the clock, it’s easy to end up staying longer than planned. Also, compared with my previous visit, there were more types of games available to bring into the Room, which could be great when staying with two or more people. The private sauna I look forward to every time also came with a full 90 minutes—plenty of time—and I really appreciated being able to use it at my own pace without worrying about others. After the sauna, I could unwind in the lobby, my Room, or the lounge, making for a truly luxurious experience. All of the staff were courteous and warm, and I felt comfortable throughout my stay. Even as a returning guest, it was nice to be treated with consistent kindness. If I had one small note: the slope leading down to the parking area is a bit steep, so drivers of low-clearance cars or those not confident behind the wheel may need to be cautious. That said, it seems unavoidable given the location. Overall, I was very satisfied again this time. I’d love to return in another season. Thank you very much.

I had wanted to stay here for a long time. The Room was spacious and very clean, with a great view. The meals were delicious, and since the restaurant is large, even at the buffet there was no congestion when serving food, so we could enjoy our meal at a relaxed pace. The Onsen was wonderful, the Shuttle Service was courteous, and all the staff were kind with excellent hospitality. It’s also great value for money, so we were very satisfied. We would like to make this our regular Accommodation in Atami. Thank you very much.

We stayed in a Room with an open-air bath. The spacious Room and the generously sized open-air bath in the Room helped us fully relax and recover from our fatigue. Although the building is somewhat old, it is well cleaned, and since I don’t really like newer but cramped Rooms, this Accommodation suited me well. The Onsen was also excellent and warmed me through to the core, so I would definitely like to stay again.

Thank you for taking care of us, even though it was just one night. All the staff were very pleasant. When we told them we were planning to visit Kinomiya Shrine, they gave us a voucher for a sweets set that could be used at the shrine, and thanks to that we were able to enjoy oshiruko and cookies. Thank you very much. There are many steep slopes on the way up to the Hotel, so I think it would be tough on foot. Dinner was great—the soup was especially delicious. We were able to relax in a Room with a private bath. However, I really wish there had been a round stool or some kind of simple chair at the sink in the Room. Women often spend a long time at the sink doing their hair and makeup, so having a chair would be helpful. The view from the Room was absolutely wonderful. I’d like to come again. My spouse and I stayed for 2 nights and 3 days with a No Meals Included plan. The building itself felt a bit dated in places, but the interior and our Room were well cleaned, so it felt fresh and comfortable throughout our stay. We chose a “discounted” Room that was priced lower than usual. We were told this was because it is on the first floor facing a toll road, but in reality we barely noticed any traffic noise and were able to relax in peace. In that sense, it exceeded our expectations in a good way. Another major highlight was having a Japanese-style tatami room. Being able to stretch out on the tatami, relax, or lie down was very comfortable, and it was impressive how we could unwind like at home even though it’s a Hotel. There was also a convenience store nearby, which made quick shopping easy. The beach is within walking distance as well, so the location is great for enjoying an easy seaside stroll. Overall, it was an excellent value-for-money stay and we were very satisfied.

Unlimited free access to the game arcade, table tennis, Go and shogi, karaoke, and more. It felt like I finally had time to relax again after a long while, and I made wonderful memories. The shared karaoke turned into a nostalgic sing-off of classic Japanese songs, and I truly enjoyed the fun, one-time-only atmosphere with people I had just met. Thank you very much!

My family often stays at Itoen Hotel in the Izu area, and this time I stayed alone in the Atami area. At check-in, the front desk staff provided a very polite explanation and made a great impression. Even though I was traveling solo, they suggested karaoke, and when I couldn’t find the parking lot and used a nearby paid parking lot instead, they came outside to explain where it was—truly guest-focused service that I really appreciated. Despite my last-minute Reservation, they accommodated my requests, and I was able to enjoy stunning views of Atami from my Room. While the Room does show its age, it was well cleaned and comfortable for resting. I also used two baths—one in the South Wing and one in the Main Building—and both had great views that washed away my daily fatigue. In the dining area, it left a good impression that staff would say things like “Thank you for waiting—○○ is ready,” as they replenished items that had run out. The food was consistently good in a reassuring way, and I enjoyed everything—including the all-you-can-drink option. Next time, I’d like to visit with my family again. Thank you very much—it was a wonderful Hotel.

When I stay overnight, I’m usually at my most exhausted. The body-friendly meals and the Onsen help me Clear and feel renewed. It’s always the perfect retreat at a comfortable distance from central Tokyo. I’ll be back again when I’m completely worn out.

First of all, the staff were wonderful. Many international team members were working there, and they were well trained and welcomed us with warm smiles. I misunderstood the breakfast time and arrived late to my set meal seat, but I was not rushed at all and was able to enjoy a delicious meal. Everything was very clean, including the bedding sheets. This time I used the Yugawara Smile Coupon and got a great deal on my stay, but even without the coupon I felt it offers excellent value for money. It was only one night, but I was able to relax. Thank you!

We stayed here for a 50th birthday trip with two classmates from Osaka and two from the Kanto area. Our Room was on the 3rd floor, so the view was of the sea beyond the parking lot. It wasn’t the view shown in the photos, which was disappointing. The bath was a hinoki bath, and the Onsen was great. Google Maps guided us to approach from the stairs side, so we had to take a longer route. There were also two toilets, and the Room was clean, so we had a wonderful time.

I stayed here solo as a reward to myself after working hard through the summer. Perched on a hill with ocean views, about 15 minutes from Atami Station by Shuttle Service, it’s only around two hours from my home in Tokyo but felt like a real getaway. From the welcome afternoon tea while soaking in the footbath to the Onsen and delicious meals, I enjoyed everything to the fullest. I’d heard that drinks at dinner were free, but the selection was far more extensive than I expected—even I, who rarely drink alcohol, ended up having sparkling wine and fruit liqueur. This Hotel is surprisingly reasonably priced for what it offers, and you can really feel the effort behind that throughout. The Room was a bit dated and there were some scratches on the fittings and furniture, but details like simple, stylish glasses and cups; using local ingredients even if not luxury items; and keeping amenities to only what’s necessary actually left me with a very positive impression. In earlier Reviews I saw comments such as indoor footwear being wooden geta sandals that were hard to walk in, or that things had become digital and explanations at reception were confusing. However, they now provide stylish slippers indoors, and they also gave clear guidance—including how to use your smartphone—so I felt they genuinely listen to guests’ feedback and keep improving. All of the staff were pleasant right down to housekeeping. As we left in the Shuttle Service car and passed through the gate, I looked back and saw an adorable female staff member waving enthusiastically goodbye—it really warmed my heart. There are a few minor shortcomings if you look for them, but considering the price it’s truly excellent, and I’d love to stay again. Maybe it’s just my bad luck with weather: despite a sunny forecast it stayed cloudy throughout so the sea didn’t look its best. That’s something I’d love to come back for revenge next time (lol).

The staff were exceptionally friendly. They were kind and attentive, and every staff member greeted us as we passed by. The food was delicious, and the service was a pleasure. All rooms had an open, ocean-view setting. This can’t really be helped, but the long layout made getting around a bit tiring.

I stayed for two nights. You served meals that were different from what I expected, and they were very delicious. The tatami in the Room was also new and comfortable, so I had a pleasant stay. Thank you very much.

The meals were delicious. Choosing abalone for dinner was the right decision. Breakfast was also great, with a wide variety of dishes. The front desk provided thorough explanations, and the dining staff responded quickly. It was also convenient that the bath, washbasin area, and toilet were separate. A small detail, but having three towels was a nice touch as well.

I felt this Accommodation could be rated very differently depending on the purpose of your trip and the Room you choose. I stayed because I was interested in their guest Room with a semi-open-air bath. The exterior looks dated, and the front desk area doesn’t feel like a typical Hotel, which made me a bit uneasy at first. But once I entered the Room, it was very clean and instantly lifted my mood. The Facility also felt relatively new and well maintained. And of course, it has an ocean view. The refrigerator includes a freezer compartment, and there’s also a microwave and a washing machine (with dryer). Amenities such as skincare items and cleansing products are all provided individually packaged. There were two bath towels set out plus one spare in the drawer—three per person in total, which was more than enough. (Though I’m not sure if this applies only to Rooms with a semi-open-air bath.) Most importantly, the semi-open-air bath was truly wonderful. You can see the ocean at a glance through the large window, and the tub is spacious enough for what feels like four people. The Onsen in the Room is not free-flowing, but it’s easy to adjust the temperature so you can soak as long as you like at your preferred heat. Because there’s a glass partition between it and the living area, you can even watch TV (with subtitles) while bathing. The staff were pleasant and kind—they quickly helped me exchange my indoor sandal size and delivered them to my Room. It was No Meals Included, but it’s close to both the station and Atami Ginza, making dining out and shopping very convenient. It’s different from an ordinary Hotel, but as a condominium-style stay with an in-room Onsen, it was excellent. I highly recommend the Grand View Room. I’d love to visit again.
