오마가리 역 × 만족도 평가가 높은 호텔·료칸

We stayed here on the second day of our 4-night, 5-day driving trip around Tohoku, Niigata, and Kusatsu. We enjoyed baked sweets and coffee in the salon next to the courtyard before heading to our room. Dinner was a beautifully presented French course made with local ingredients, and the flavors suited us perfectly. What impressed us most was the baths—both the large public bath and the open-air bath had wonderfully silky water that left our skin smooth. The temperature was just right, and we were able to relax at length. The kiritanpo hot pot for breakfast was also delicious, and we were very satisfied. Above all, we loved everyone’s warm smiles. The hand-drawn map by a staff member was also soothing. We’d love to visit again in a different season.

Wonderful! I was very satisfied with the price and the facilities. The rate, in particular, was unbelievably low. I wasn’t expecting anything from breakfast (given the price), but it was actually good. Since there’s only a shower booth, I’m a bit concerned about staying in midwinter. In any case, among all the hotels I’ve stayed at (dozens), this one is by far No. 1 for value for money. It’s far from my home, so I’m not sure when I’ll be able to visit again, but there’s no doubt it’s a hotel I’d like to return to. I don’t know if it was because it was the off-season, but next time I’d like to stay in midwinter.

Great value and conveniently located, Route Inn is often my go-to in times of need. While I thought it lacked a strong unique character, this location stood out. Perhaps it's thriving due to the regular fireworks events nearby. The coffee machine was excellent—rich and delicious! The Room features included wireless charging and Type-C ports. The breakfast menu seemed to have more variety compared to other locations. Unfortunately, I didn’t have time to visit the large public bath, which was disappointing.

I used the breakfast buffet, but I couldn’t find any bread. When I asked, I was told, “We don’t have any.” If possible, I would like bread to be available as well.

I stayed here after my last day of work. When I asked the front desk staff about places still open at this hour where I could drink Akita's local sake like "Yuki no Bosha" or other options, they said, "If you just want to drink local sake, the nearby supermarket sells it. They probably have small bottles of Yuki no Bosha too. Since it's snowing heavily and the izakaya is quite far, it might be tough to go there and come back. It’s better not to risk it." They also gave me a map just in case. At first, I was surprised by their suggestion, but after dropping off my luggage and walking outside, I understood! I went to the supermarket instead, bought some sake, and enjoyed it with kimchi in my room. Thanks to their advice, I avoided any accidents. The room was clean and satisfying! The water temperature was adjustable manually—it wasn’t a big deal since I'm used to that. Thank you very much!
