We arrived in the evening and chose the plan with two meals included. The only convenience store within walking distance is a Lawson about 10–15 minutes away. Since you have to cross a national highway at night, it feels far. We were glad we added meals. The carefully prepared dishes were unique both to look at and to taste, and we really enjoyed them. I definitely recommend adding meals. We went early in the morning to Ritsuunkyo, came back for breakfast, rested in our Room, and then hiked up Takeda Castle; being able to take breaks along the way was great. This is a recommended Accommodation. Since it is an old traditional house Hotel, I would not recommend it to those who cannot enjoy an older building or who expect perfect Facilities.

We looked for an affordable place to stay for a couples’ motorcycle trip to hike up to Takeda Castle and catch the sea of clouds the next morning. It was excellent value for money, and just as the reviews said, the breakfast was delicious—we were very satisfied. The covered motorcycle parking was essential when the sea of clouds appears, and we appreciated having it at the back of the second floor of the parking area. The only downside is that dinner is not served on holidays, so you need to go out. We went to a Chinese restaurant about a 10-minute walk away; it cost ¥3,000 for two including drinks, and it was tasty. This hotel is perfect for a sea-of-clouds touring trip and highly recommended. Thank you very much.

I stayed here last year as well, and even though the price is reasonable, the Facility is clean and the breakfast is delicious, so I was very satisfied and decided to return again this time. This Hotel is highly recommended for sightseeing in the area. I’ll definitely stay here again.

We stayed at this Accommodation again around the same time as last year with the same group (3 people). We were given a spacious Room with two connected rooms, which was great. The air conditioning worked throughout the building, and everything was thoroughly cleaned, making our stay very comfortable. The only minor concern—something we noticed last time as well—was that the toilet paper tears very easily, which was a bit stressful. Thank you very much.

An Accommodation where you can stay with your dog. We were looking forward to it because the Reviews were great, and we heard we could also harvest seasonal vegetables. It’s a spacious countryside house, thoroughly cleaned, and we had a very comfortable stay. We received lots of summer vegetables—grilled them at a barbecue, boiled some to eat—and the freshly picked produce was flavorful, fresh, and absolutely delicious! And there are so many Facilities: a Dutch oven, smoker, pizza oven, and even cheese fondue. There’s also a shaved ice machine, a popcorn maker, and even an astronomical telescope. One night isn’t enough to enjoy everything. Next time, I’d like to come back after preparing more things in advance! I also want to harvest vegetables in different seasons! Now I understand why so many guests return. It definitely makes you want to come again. The owner was extremely kind as well—explained everything clearly and took great care of us. Highly recommended Accommodation!

I booked this place because I wanted to visit Takeda Castle. It’s about a 10–15 minute drive to Ritsuunkyo, so it’s easy to go even early in the morning when the sea of clouds appears. Both dinner and breakfast offered a wide variety of dishes, and I was completely satisfied. The public bath isn’t very large, but there is also a private reservable bath, so I think it offers great value for money. Due to bad weather, I gave up on visiting Takeda Castle, but Eirakukan Theater in Izushi—recommended by the proprietress—was wonderful. I’d love to stay again if I have the chance.

Used for a trip to Takeda Castle Ruins. Is it new? Everything was clean, and I had no complaints! The staff were friendly and pleasant. Unfortunately, I couldn't see the sea of clouds this time, but I would love to stay here again for my next attempt! Thank you for your hospitality!

The Facility was clean, and the view was great. Unfortunately, since it was the day before a typhoon, we couldn’t see the starry sky. The BBQ meat was delicious. However, I would have preferred chicken thigh instead of drumettes—just my personal opinion. The shrimp were also plump and tasty.

We stayed for two nights, and for dinner on the second night they kindly substituted Tajima chicken and scallops for the sausages. Everything was delicious. The skirt steak had no odor at all, and it felt like they source very high-quality meat. The service was also very polite and helpful. At night, we could lie back in chairs and watch the starry sky—we even saw two shooting stars.
