The views from the window—an unmanned station and the sea—were beautiful, and we were able to relax at a leisurely pace. Every dish was delicious, and we thoroughly enjoyed the crab and shrimp. The Accommodation was quiet throughout, with a soothing atmosphere that made time feel as if it were gently passing by, allowing us to forget everyday life and truly unwind. It’s an Accommodation I’d love to visit again in a different season.

I was able to make a Reservation easily, and since I linked it with PayPay, payment was also simple. I’m satisfied because it was cheaper than other sites.

The Kasumi crab and sashimi served at dinner were very fresh and delicious. The sound of the waves played like background music in the Room and the open-air bath, creating a truly special, out-of-the-ordinary experience. Everyone at the Accommodation was kind, making this a very satisfying trip. Thank you very much.

By chance, a room became available due to a cancellation, and I was able to make a reservation. The accommodation cost was so cheap that it made me a bit anxious. I went to eat crab, and since the price was low, I wondered if the portion would be small, but I was surprised by the amount. I had crab sashimi for the first time. I was amazed at how delicious it was. Grilled crab, steamed crab, crab shabu-shabu, all were delicious and the best. Also, the crab rice for breakfast was delicious. I will definitely go every year!

It was a wonderful inn where the staff’s thoughtful hospitality was evident throughout. We relaxed in a calm, comfortable room and thoroughly enjoyed the private bath at our leisure. The crab was delicious, of course, and the seasonal appetizers and beautiful tableware made for an outstanding meal. We enjoyed every dish to the very end. We would love to visit again with family and friends.

The full-course crab sashimi was wonderfully sweet and delicious, and we enjoyed more crab than we could finish, including grilled crab and more. The renovated room was spotless in every corner, and the bed was extremely comfortable! I also heard the hot spring had been renovated, and it was very clean. Overall, we were completely satisfied with this stay and would definitely like to visit again.

For the past decade or so, we have been taking a crab trip to Kasumi-Shibayama about once a year, and compared with places we stayed in the past, this Accommodation was higher quality and very satisfying. As it is a small Accommodation with only three Rooms, you can’t expect much beyond the quality of the Room and meals, but it is an Accommodation I can recommend. I stayed here on the first day of a three-day holiday weekend to fully enjoy Kasumi crab, which was the highlight of this trip. I booked the full-course meal featuring extra-large Kasumi crab (top-grade “Bangani” class). From crab sashimi, boiled crab, grilled crab, shell miso grilling, tempura, crab shabu-shabu, to a crab hot pot, I was able to savor Kasumi crab in many different styles. What impressed me most were the crab sashimi and the shabu-shabu—both were equally delicious. I was also very satisfied with the service, such as having the grilled crab prepared right in front of me. The portion size was just right. For the final rice porridge (zosui), I added some reserved crab meat and enjoyed it until the very end. The drinks—especially sake—were reasonably priced as well, which I appreciated. For bathing, I reserved a private semi-open-air bath. It cost about JPY 2,000 for 45 minutes. There were two types—a hinoki (cypress) bath and a tiled bath—and even the water temperature differed between them. I was very pleased with both. In terms of facilities, there is no refrigerator in the room and you need to borrow a hair dryer from reception. Some guests may find this slightly inconvenient. However, all staff were welcoming from check-in onward, and I had a comfortable stay overall. Even though it was during a busy holiday weekend, considering the quality and volume of the meals along with the baths and hospitality, it felt like an excellent value. I’m grateful that I could truly enjoy delicious Kasumi crab while having such a pleasant stay. This is an inn I would definitely like to visit again. Thank you very much.

We chose this place because it’s not too far from Kinosaki Onsen and seemed like a relaxing spot, and as expected, we were able to enjoy a leisurely time as a family. Dinner was also wonderful—grilling over the irori and taking our time to eat made it especially enjoyable. The sea is close too, so regardless of the catch, just looking out at the view was soothing. A question for the Accommodation staff: the rug (carpet) in the entrance featuring a train crossing the Amarube Bridge in winter was stunning and really caught my eye—was it custom-made?

Red Snow Crab Course: Sashimi, grilled, boiled, tempura, and hot pot—so much food that you'll be completely full. It's amazing how much volume 2.5 crabs provide. Very satisfying. The bath is an Onsen and feels great, though the slight chlorine smell was a bit noticeable. The Room was a spacious 5-person room used by just 2 people. However, being on the first floor meant poor views, and the lack of a refrigerator in the room was slightly disappointing.

This was a well-deserved trip to celebrate my retirement, and the hospitality was outstanding. I carefully researched in advance, and it truly paid off. The crab was exactly as promised—1.5 servings of the real thing. Without me asking, the young proprietress noticed my build and changed my yukata to the right size. The Onsen could be reserved for private use, so I could relax at ease. I’d love to come back next year for another crab feast!
