During my visit to Hamamatsu to return to my family home, I stayed with a No Meals Included plan this time. I enjoyed staying in a room with a view of Hamamatsu Castle, which allowed me to enjoy the scenery at an affordable price. There was an amenity bar at the reception area, which wasn’t available before, and I made use of various items. Personally, I liked the coffee and bath salts. The unmanned shop has also increased in convenience as I could get drinks without having to go to a convenience store. Unfortunately, all the pillows at the pillow bar were already taken, so I'll look forward to trying it next time. Although it may be difficult, I feel that having a large public bath would make it even better.

All the staff were cheerful and kind, making our trip even more enjoyable. The Hotel was a little hard to find, but the Facility was more than sufficient for pets. In the morning, we enjoyed walking down the stairs from the dog run to Lake Hamana—it felt wonderful. We also thoroughly enjoyed an excellent full-course meal. As for the Room, it was unnecessarily spacious for us as a couple, so next time we may choose a smaller Room. In such an elegant setting, sipping complimentary sparkling wine alone in the lounge in the evening while looking out at Lake Hamana and the sunset was pure bliss. This is a Hotel we would definitely love to visit again.

I visited with friends in March, and this time I came with my son’s family. The food is simply delicious, and even my five-year-old grandchild can have fun at the amusement park and inside the Hotel. Beer was available after bathing and during meals as well, which made my daughter-in-law very happy. The meals were excellent—both grilled Hamana Lake eel (kabayaki) and white-grilled eel (shirayaki) were so good that I ate far too much. I usually don’t eat seafood bowls elsewhere (because they’re not tasty), but for some reason I end up having them here. And the staff who prepare the food are very kind. Next time, I’d like to bring my daughter’s family too. The desserts made with local ingredients and the small dishes are also delicious. I don’t think there is any other Hotel buffet as good as this. The only problem is that I eat too much and gain weight. Even breakfast has great variety, and even the scrambled eggs taste wonderful. The shirasu and eel onigiri-style rice balls were very satisfying too. With four adults and one small child, it’s hard to deny that the room feels a bit small. But since a larger room would have doubled the price, we ended up trying to save money. Well, we only sleep there anyway. This may be a bit rambling, but considering the price, all I can say is thank you very much. If possible, I think a dry sauna would be better than the current one in the bath area.

We stayed here for the first time with our dog to celebrate our daughter’s birthday. The welcome drink and dessert were very delicious! The welcome treat for dogs also seemed tasty—our pup finished it in no time! There’s also a drink bar available at certain times, which was great. They even have alcohol, which was the best!! The dog run was air-conditioned, so it was comfortable even in midsummer. Our dog ran around until completely tired out. Dinner is buffet-style, so it’s hard to decide what to eat (lol). The roast beef and sashimi served as a one-plate set at the table were amazing! Alcohol is available for an additional fee, but the food is so good you can’t help wanting a drink (lol). You can dine together with your dog, and there’s also a buffet just for dogs, so we really enjoyed the meal. Since it was our daughter’s birthday, we ordered a cake for an additional fee, and it was delicious as well! The staff celebrated with us too, and our daughter was thrilled! You can also use a private bath. We used it this time; we had 90 minutes, so we could relax without rushing. Dogs are allowed in the private bath too, which is wonderful! There were post-bath drinks and ice cream in the fridge—also fantastic! It’s well worth paying the extra fee! By the way, I also used the large public bath in the morning. The view was great, and it felt wonderful bathing while looking out over Lake Hamana! The breakfast sandwiches were filling and very tasty! They come with pudding too—again, amazing! One of the reasons this Hotel felt so good is definitely how pleasant all of the staff are!! Everyone we met was smiling; they talked to our dog and played with him too. Our pup got lots of love! If I had to mention something negative: although parts have been renovated, there were some areas where you could feel that the building itself is old and showing its age. But personally, there were far more positives than anything else. How easy it is to stay with your dog here, how great the staff service is, how delicious the food is, how relaxing the baths are—we went home satisfied as a whole family! I’m glad we chose this Hotel for our first overnight trip with our dog. We’d love to stay again!!

The location was convenient, with easy access from the station, making it ideal for sightseeing and getting around. The Room was clean and comfortable, allowing me to relax and unwind. The staff were courteous and attentive, which made me feel at ease throughout my stay. It was a comfortable Hotel, and I would like to stay here again when I visit Hamamatsu. Thank you very much!!

We stayed here on our way to Osaka, and the lakefront was just a short walk away—our grandchildren were happier than we expected. The adults were also satisfied because the meals were delicious. However, there were only a few washing stations in the large public bath, and we were surprised to see so many people waiting. Perhaps it was because there were many families during summer vacation. It was not something we often see elsewhere.

The food was absolutely delicious. We also enjoyed a wonderful view of Lake Hamana, and were able to relax and have a peaceful stay. Thank you very much.

A relaxing trip for a couple in our 50s. The bath was very pleasant, and the complimentary Yakult after bathing was excellent. The meals were generous, and the eel kamameshi at the end was delicious. If it weren’t for the loud noise from the in-room refrigerator and the extremely loud motorcycles at night, we think this would be an outstanding Accommodation.

I booked at the last minute and didn’t have much time to check the details in advance, but I was grateful that breakfast was included. The meal was delicious and well balanced. The restaurant staff greeted us cheerfully in the morning, which really lifted my spirits as well. It might be helpful for some guests if you could let them know at check-in that the convenience store across the street closes at night.

The sparkling Hamamatsu night view spread out below was breathtakingly beautiful and made our stay feel special from the very beginning. From check-in through the next day, the staff’s warm hospitality and perfectly balanced attentiveness were a true model of service, allowing us to relax and enjoy our time with complete peace of mind. Throughout the Hotel, music-inspired motifs were thoughtfully incorporated into details such as elevator décor, door handles, and buttons. Spotting them was a delightful little discovery each time and helped us fully immerse ourselves in the Hotel’s unique atmosphere. With the night view, service, and design all in perfect harmony, it was an exceptionally satisfying stay.

It was a convenient Hotel, close to Hamamatsu Station and Act City. The eel rice bowl at breakfast was delicious. Since we stayed with three people by adding an extra bed to a twin Room, the Room felt small, but it was a clean Hotel. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

I stayed here during a short trip to Hamamatsu while attending a memorial service. It’s in a great location, just a two- or three-minute walk from the station, which was especially helpful in the summer heat. You can really see their efforts to streamline unnecessary services. That said, the amenities were perfectly fine, and I was able to relax and rest well. I was satisfied with both the evening lounge and the breakfast. I had dinner at Unagi Fujita on the second floor of the same building, so I didn’t try the evening curry, but I had a little of the breakfast curry and it was very delicious. If I have another chance to visit Hamamatsu, this is definitely a Hotel I’d like to stay at again.

I traveled with my dog and friends. It was my first time at Wanpara Lake Hamana, and I was truly impressed by how kind the staff were. The meals were wonderful—enjoyable to look at and delicious to eat. There was a clean dog run for dogs, and we had a great time playing there. The Onsen was also excellent. It’s an Accommodation I’d love to visit again.

In every way, this was the best Hotel I have ever stayed at. I will make another Reservation through IKYU.

I stayed here for the first time to attend a concert. The walk from the station to the Hotel felt short, like strolling through a small park nearby. The Hotel was very comfortable. I could really feel the thoughtful attention to detail throughout, making it easy for guests to enjoy their stay. It was also nice to be able to choose what you need on the first floor. The pajamas were much appreciated. Everything was well cleaned and spotless. The Hotel staff were also very courteous. Even though the price was low, breakfast was included (there were more items than I expected, and everything was delicious). There was also a welcome drink, and the bed and other amenities were comfortable, so I could relax and had a satisfying stay. It’s a great value. On my way back to the Hotel while still enjoying the afterglow of the concert, I could hear insects chirping—another good memory. When I visit Hamamatsu again, I would definitely like to stay here (I live in Nagoya, so until now it has always been a day trip).

The freshly baked breakfast bread was excellent, with a great variety. The Onsen was also wonderful. The Room was kept very clean. There was a popular gyoza restaurant nearby, and it was delicious. I’d like to come again.

I stayed for one night for personal reasons. The Room was spacious enough for this class, with a large TV and a wide double bed, which made it easy to stretch while watching videos. I’m not very comfortable with in-room bathtubs, so I looked for a Hotel with a public bath. The women’s bath wasn’t very large, but it wasn’t crowded when I used it, so I could relax. It might be a bit difficult if it gets busy. I also like the amenity setup where you pick up what you need from the lobby—no waste. The staff were kind and pleasant, and overall I had a relaxing stay. Breakfast had a good variety, so I could choose what I liked. I didn’t use it, but it’s also nice that alcohol is served during happy hour. If I come to Hamamatsu again, I’d love to stay here again. Thank you!

I’ve stayed here about 10 times for both business and leisure. If you arrive late for check-in, the parking lot right in front may be full, so I recommend using a nearby paid parking lot. Please note that those can fill up quickly as well. The Zaza City parking garage across the street is JPY 1,000 for 24 hours, which is ideal for longer stays, but it does not allow entry/exit late at night, so please keep that in mind. The Hotel is very well maintained; the lobby and guest rooms are spotless. The staff were also very kind and explained everything clearly. Most amenities are not placed in the Room and can be found next to the check-in counter. In addition to the standard shampoo, conditioner, and body soap provided in the Room, there are several types available to borrow, which was a nice touch. Welcome drinks are also unlimited until 1:00 a.m. In the Room, you can watch FOD as much as you like—great for passing time—and it’s conveniently located near the station, so finding dinner options is easy. The breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of choices, with both rice and bread available. They also serve Hamamatsu’s famous eel as mixed rice—highly recommended if you’re visiting from out of town. One thing I’d love to see improved is being able to set the air conditioner temperature in the guest Room. I’ve stayed here in midsummer too, but it wasn’t enough of an issue to bother me personally. I’m very happy to be able to stay at a Hotel with this level of quality at this price range. I’ll definitely stay again next time.

As the title says, there are many Kuretakeso properties nearby. The Hotel entrance is halfway up a slope, so it may be a bit tough if you have a lot of luggage. The road in front of the entrance has heavy traffic. Breakfast has limited variety but is delicious. The dining area is a luxurious Room. The lobby comic selection is small; I think they should add more. Since it would help attract guests, I recommend increasing the selection even with used books. There is only one elevator. Soft drinks are all-you-can-drink. For about two hours at night, alcohol is also all-you-can-drink. The Room is spacious. There is a shower booth. You can watch TV while soaking in the bath—there are two TVs in the Room. Parking lots are scattered around, and if it’s your first time, it can be hard to tell where to park. Recommended in this area.

I stayed here for the first time last year and loved it, so I chose this Hotel again this year when I came to Shizuoka for a live show. It’s very reasonably priced, but the staff are polite and kind, and the amenities and drink service are a huge help for someone traveling light. I didn’t have much time to use all the services again this year, but I was happy that there were still hitsumabushi rice balls available when I returned to the Hotel. Enjoying local food is one of the best parts of traveling! I’ll definitely stay here again when I visit Shizuoka.
