This was my first stay. With only three groups per day, it’s a private pet-friendly Accommodation with a gentle, welcoming atmosphere. The cuisine was excellent, as you’d expect from a Ryokan—especially the sesame tofu and soba. Meals were served in a private dining room. Our dog happily ate the dog pizza. We stayed in the “Kuu-chan” tatami Room on the first floor, which felt a bit too spacious, but it was comfortable with no odors. The bath was a private reservable bath assigned to each Room. Since we visited in August, it was too hot outside to do much. We heard bears may appear around places like Enakyo Gorge. One downside was that a belly band (manner belt) is required inside the Room.

We stayed to celebrate the youngest of our three sons’ birthday—this was about our fifth visit. The room has evolved into a family room, and with the slide, swing, and bouldering wall, they played nonstop. All three were very happy and said they want to come again and stay again. Thank you as well to K for taking such great care of us during our meals—it made the memories even more special. Next time, we’d love to visit for our second son’s birthday. Thank you in advance.

This was my fourth stay. Although it was still early September—far from autumn—I was looking for a place where I could truly relax and enjoy delicious food. After searching around, I ended up coming back to Yuzuriha again. With only a small number of guest Rooms, it never feels crowded no matter when I visit. Check-in and check-out are handled calmly and unhurriedly, and above all, the staff’s kind service and warm smiles are so soothing. The building isn’t brand-new, but everything is spotless down to the smallest details. Every Room faces Ena Gorge, so there’s no sense of confinement—and even though I know what to expect each time, I still can’t help letting out a “wow” every time I open the door. I travel from Nagoya, and it’s easy to get here even without a car since you can use Meitetsu, JR, and buses. On the way back, if you use the Hotel’s Shuttle Service bus, you’ll arrive at Ena-shi Station in no time—so as long as you know the departure time, it’s completely stress-free. Even though I know how beautiful and delicious the meals will be every time, each dish that arrives still makes me sigh with admiration. The portions are generous enough to fully satisfy even men with big appetites. The chef’s careful and delicate work never lets up—all the way through dessert. The Onsen water has a slightly silky feel, and even after getting out of the bath my skin stays smooth for a long time. I’ve seen some Reviews saying it feels “light,” but for me it’s more than enough. The water isn’t too hot either; being able to soak for a long time while listening to birds and insects is wonderfully comfortable—I think it’s just the right balance. Honestly, it’s such a wonderful Accommodation that part of me wants to keep it secret—but because I want this level of satisfaction to continue in the future as well, I wrote this Review hoping that people who haven’t been here yet will experience it too. This is not an exaggeration: at this price point, Yuzuriha never disappoints. I’ll be back again—thank you in advance. P.S. Our family of five (four adults and our third son, 1 year and 9 months old) stayed here. We had been looking forward to this trip for a long time, but the weather on the day was terrible—so bad we were caught in a sudden torrential downpour. The heavy rain made visibility poor on the way to the Facility, and it was still pouring at check-in, but thanks to the staff’s kind and careful guidance, we were able to get into our dome tent safely. Unfortunately, the bonfire event planned at the center was canceled, but that couldn’t be helped given the weather. Even so, the Facility offered a rainy-day-only service of lending a projector free of charge (normally 1,000 yen). Thanks to that thoughtful gesture, our kids never got bored and we were able to enjoy glamping in a way that only a rainy day can offer. By the time we headed to the large public bathhouse, the rain had stopped for a while and there were few other guests. The men’s bath (with our kids) and women’s bath (for my wife) each felt like private use. We could relax without worrying about anyone else—and for our 1-year-9-month-old son it was his very first large public bath. Seeing him enjoy it without being scared put smiles on all of our faces. Even at night the weather remained unsettled—rain on and off with occasional thunder—but we couldn’t give up on seeing the stars. After putting our youngest to sleep, we took it easy with coffee. When I stepped outside around 3:00 a.m., all the clouds had cleared away, revealing an unbelievably beautiful sky full of stars. Countless stars shone brightly—far more than you could ever see in town—and I felt staying up late was truly worth it. On another note, perhaps because of the heavy rain, a few millipedes found their way into our house tent area and our older two boys made quite a fuss in the middle of night (laughs). We ended up slightly sleep-deprived, but now it has become one more funny family story—something that comes with being surrounded by nature. In the morning we woke up to birdsong. The fresh air made for an incredibly pleasant start to day—a luxurious moment you can’t experience in everyday life. The previous day’s bonfire had been canceled as an event, but they kindly arranged for each house area to enjoy one until 8:30 a.m. next morning instead. Watching fire while drinking coffee and reading was exactly what I’d hoped for. We enjoyed both dinner and breakfast together as family on deck in front of house area; meals eaten in nature are something special every time—and everything was delicious. Even after returning home,we kept talking about how much we'd love come back again."

The Wi‑Fi was fast and reliable, and the bath was very comfortable. I also appreciated the coffee service next to the front desk—freshly ground and delicious. Route Inn hotels are always convenient, and I will stay again next time.

Check-in was hassle-free, and it was very convenient to park right in front of the Room. There were also supermarkets, family restaurants, and convenience stores nearby, which was perfect for me. Breakfast was included; it was frozen but still tasty. The only downside was that the hot water in the Room’s bath wasn’t consistent, but there were many more positives overall and I really liked it. It’s a Hotel I’d like to stay at again.

This was my first visit in midsummer, and I felt this is a place best enjoyed during the cherry blossom season in spring or the autumn foliage season. Back to the main point: the food was good, but overall my satisfaction level is 4 out of 5.

The price was very reasonable, and parking was free. We also appreciated that breakfast was included at no extra charge.

We stayed for one night with our 2-year-old Toy Poodle. The place was very clean, and they provided insect repellent spray, pee pads, poop bags, and a walking bag. We enjoyed both dinner and breakfast, and although it was hot, we made the most of it and enjoyed the campfire as well. We also used the dog run, which was spacious enough even for large dogs. Our dog seemed very happy, and we’re glad we chose to stay here. There are several places nearby for walks, which was really helpful. We’d love to come again when it’s cooler.

I chose this place because I wanted to do SUP. Dinner was a barbecue, and breakfast was a Japanese set meal with hoba miso. The bath and toilet were shared, but there was also a refrigerator, and best of all, there was an Onsen and the price was low! There wasn’t an electric kettle in the Room, but paper cups and hot water were provided in the hallway. What was disappointing was that there was no washing machine. I couldn’t wash my swimsuit after SUP, and since my trip continued the next day, I went to a coin laundry after heading into town. Since it’s also far from town, if you’re planning a Multiple Night Stay, I think it’s a good idea to bring a small portable washing machine.

Five of us stayed here while walking the Nakasendo from Tokyo Nihonbashi. We washed our clothes in the washing machine and enjoyed nicely chilled drinks. Since it was during extreme heat, the thoughtful care for our tired bodies truly meant a lot. The basic seasonings were all provided. We couldn’t find a supermarket nearby, so we ate out at nearby restaurants, but with a larger group it would be fun to cook for ourselves. It’s right by the station, so access was excellent. The Room was spacious, and the next morning we all watched the FIFA World Cup final together on a large screen. It was so comfortable it felt like home, and I accidentally left my mobile battery pack behind while it was charging. When I called, they promptly mailed it back to my home. I’m sorry for the trouble. I’d love to stay again when I have the chance.

As it’s a new Hotel, everything is spotless. I have lower back pain, but the mattress firmness was perfectly comfortable. The Room key uses a PIN code system, so I recommend taking a photo of the number you receive at check-in on your phone—it will be useful later. At the bar counter there were Black Nikka, Kurokirishima, Nanawarai, and more, so I had a glass of Kurokirishima. I think it’s a good idea to buy cup ice and soda water as well. There didn’t seem to be any restaurants within walking distance; however, there is a drugstore and a supermarket across the street. The only disappointment was that at 6:40 there was an extremely long line for breakfast! We were told we could take it back to the Room to eat, but due to my son’s event we gave up waiting and checked out. That’s why I deducted one star. I would like to stay again if I have the opportunity.

The Facility was very good, but I never received the door code. Even after arriving, I could not reach anyone at all by either email or phone. After being caught in heavy rain as a result, I ended up catching a cold. At the very least, I would have liked a phone number that could actually be reached to be provided.

I requested the Shuttle Service, and they responded very politely. The staff were also wonderful when explaining the Facility and helping with anything I didn’t understand. The Room was clean, and both dinner and breakfast were delicious. I expected there to be a lot of insects due to the season, but they weren’t noticeable even during dinner. The paths on the property were easy to walk on, and it seemed like leaves and other debris were kept nicely cleaned up. I would definitely like to stay here again if I have the chance.

Bathing time was by reservation. Therefore, I was able to use the large bath alone. I thought it was a measure against COVID-19, etc. They cleaned and disinfected before and after use. The toilet and washroom were shared, but there was no overlap. I stayed with breakfast only, but I enjoyed it in a private room. Everyone was very kind and it felt homely, which made me happy. Thank you very much.

Both dinner and breakfast were very delicious. The staff were very kind and friendly, making the stay comfortable. I stayed for work purposes, but I was able to relax, refresh, and was extremely satisfied!

This was my first stay. Security is very solid, so even if you leave the door slightly open, it locks right away. Having the parking lot right in front was very convenient. However, since it’s a container-style Accommodation, I sometimes felt it shake when someone walked inside while I was on the bed (I even mistook it for an earthquake). It might not bother you once you get used to it, but as a first-timer I noticed it a bit.

This time, I stayed for the first time. There was information that the dinner was good, and I stayed with expectations, but I was very satisfied beyond what I imagined. The service was very good, and I had a pleasant stay. The bath and toilet washroom are shared, but even taking that into account, I would like to stay again next year.

We stayed in a Room with two 4.5-tatami rooms. Since it was a weekday and there were only three groups including us, we were able to spend the time quietly. The Room itself is separate, so it was nice to relax without worrying about others. However, because of the structure there are some gaps, so people who dislike insects might find it bothersome. Also, since you can stay with dogs, those who are not comfortable around dogs may be concerned about previous guests. The bath switches between men and women the next morning. The temperature differed quite a bit, and I preferred the warmer temperature in the morning. Dinner included all-you-can-drink (including alcohol), and it was filling—we were satisfied to be able to enjoy local dishes. Ice cream was also all-you-can-eat, and if you want, you can take cup noodles back to your Room as well. Since dinner was so filling, we passed this time. Considering the price, I think it’s an incredible deal, so I’d like to stay again if I have the chance. Thank you very much.
