Because I live in Kanagawa and this area is so close, I had never looked for Accommodation around here before. Thanks to IKYU, I was able to discover such a wonderful Accommodation so nearby. Although I had seen some comments from other guests complaining about the staff’s service, every member of the team provided warm, hospitality-filled service without exception, and I truly enjoyed my stay in the best possible mood. This is a very quiet Accommodation with only 16 Rooms, and there are Onsen not only in the Rooms but also private baths and a large public bath. The meals were plentiful and well balanced; we were delighted to enjoy grilled char (iwana) with salt and Koshu beef as well. The road leading to the Accommodation is narrow, but as it is the only property there, it felt like a hidden hot spring retreat—absolutely wonderful. Even in this time of labor shortages, an elderly staff member kindly took care of us attentively until the very end. Knowing how demanding it must be late at night and early in the morning left me deeply impressed. They even saw us off until we were completely out of sight. I would love to visit again; however, we were told that only 8 of the 16 Rooms are currently in operation, making Reservations difficult to secure. I am truly grateful for an unforgettable trip accompanied by the soothing sound of the river flowing throughout the night.

I had plans at Lake Kawaguchi the next day and was looking for an Accommodation, so I stayed here because it seemed like a good option with one night and two meals included. The Onsen, meals, and Room were all excellent, and the value for money was outstanding. The signature herbal bath was also very nice. There was also an outdoor air-cooling space by the sauna outside, so I was able to fully relax.

I stayed for 13 nights in May and June and had a pleasant experience. The building was not particularly new or clean, but the large public bath and breakfast were very satisfying. If I have work or leisure plans near Hachioji City again, I would consider staying here despite the slight distance.

We stayed with no meals included, and it was the perfect choice for us to enjoy quality time together without worrying about others. The highlight was being able to use the irori (traditional Japanese hearth). We brought meat and ingredients we picked up along the way and slowly grilled them over the charcoal fire of the irori. The aroma of the charcoal was delightful. We also made a hot pot, and it was convenient that all necessary cooking utensils were provided. Cooking together created enjoyable moments as well. Of course, the sauna was fantastic too. With ponchos provided, we could even enjoy an outdoor cool-down session in chilly weather. Although it's a traditional Japanese house, it has been tastefully renovated. The facilities like plumbing and air conditioning are well-maintained, making it clean and comfortable to stay in. The historical earthen floor area is charming as well—every corner is picture-perfect. We’re looking forward to visiting other accommodations by Ruuf that we haven’t been to yet! We booked the Birthday Plan for our first family glamping experience, which also celebrated my wife's birthday. With the meal-inclusive plan, we enjoyed unlimited soft drinks and alcohol from the drink server in the management building, which we could take back to our tent—a very convenient feature. The nearby mountains, river, and park provided great opportunities for exploration and fun with our kids. We visited in early September and enjoyed listening to cicadas while spotting dragonflies, lizards, crickets, and more. It seems that stag beetles can also be found around July to August.

This Accommodation is ideal for traveling with a large group. From the spacious pool and huge sauna to the high-quality bedrooms, everything is exceptional. I have stayed at many Accommodations, but this one stands out as top-class in both scale and attention to detail. However, since check-in is done online, a website error caused delays during check-in. The staff kindly guided us over the phone, but I hope this issue will not occur on our next visit.

I stayed on a weekday. The outdoor barbecue while listening to the sound of the stream flowing nearby became a special memory.

My spouse and I stayed for one night and two days. The Facility was very clean overall, and it was stocked with plenty of the latest appliances. The sauna came with unlimited firewood, and it heated up properly. The river right in front was cold and felt amazing. The provided shampoo and conditioner were also great. It’s a place that makes you want to come back regularly to refresh.

It was nicely cleaned, and the heating facilities were well equipped, which was great. The location is also convenient for anyone with plans around Lake Sagami, so I recommend it.

I discovered an accommodation with a vibe I absolutely love while researching after hearing about someone's camping trip! It looks like a Bali resort, just as shown in the photos. Despite the unfortunate weather, the campfire was no problem. The private space was amazing and very satisfying. Highly recommended!!! (I’d love to visit again on a sunny summer day!) For those considering this place, here’s some information about the facilities: - A marshmallow set is available in the fridge, but there are no sticks for roasting them over the campfire. Bringing your own might be helpful if you plan to roast marshmallows. - Pink and black rock salt are provided along with graters. Black pepper is also available in a mill form. - There are six plates around 20cm in size and two plates approximately 28cm in size. - An 80cm wooden plate is available, which is convenient for serving meals if you prepare your own food. - About eight bottles of mineral water (500ml each) and one bag of ice are provided (the fridge has a freezer compartment). - The outdoor kitchen only has running water (no hot water). - It can get quite dark at night when working in the kitchen area, and it may feel cold at night too (two blankets are available in one of the room drawers). - Balancing hot and cold water can be tricky (especially for showers and sinks), so I’d rate it four stars because of this issue. - Starting a fire for the campfire is relatively easy! - The pool contains regular water, so it’s likely only usable during summer months. - The Bluetooth speaker by B&O adds an elegant touch. - There are stairs from the parking lot to reach your tent.
