I booked Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo, where you can enjoy the sea of clouds, to celebrate my wife’s birthday. What surprised me first was that I had requested a birthday message plate at “Il Teatro,” the Italian restaurant we reserved for dinner, and the Hotel coordinated everything so wonderfully that at check-in they presented my wife with a handwritten birthday message card from the staff. Honestly, I was deeply moved by their hospitality. As an IKYU Diamond member, we received a Room upgrade, and they also kindly suggested switching to a suite (for an additional fee). The upgraded garden-view Room was spacious with an excellent view—we were completely satisfied. The sea of clouds was truly magical; it looked different depending on the time, and no matter how many times we watched it, we never got tired of it. Service at “Il Teatro” was also outstanding, and we had a memorable birthday dinner at a window seat overlooking the garden. The food was delicious, and the recommended Chardonnay was exceptional—exactly my kind of white wine. After that, we went to the bar for cocktails and returned to our Room, but we were having such a great time talking that we ended up missing the final grand sea of clouds show. Talking with my wife about making Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo our annual birthday tradition, we promised each other: “Next year, let’s dine in one of the private rooms used for Hanzawa Naoki filming—and this time we’ll definitely watch the grand nighttime sea of clouds from our Room.” It became a wonderful memory for us. I stayed here solo for a live concert trip. I had a Reservation for a Standard Double, but they kindly offered to change it to the Ladies’ Room free of charge since there was availability, which I really appreciated. The large public bath had a good Panasonic hair dryer, and although I didn’t use them this time, they also offer free late-night soba and ice cream—great services that made the stay very comfortable. It’s a bit of a walk from Ikebukuro Station, but there’s a convenience store nearby and the service was excellent, so I’d like to stay here again when I come to Tokyo.

While some Hotels are rigid and overly formal, here I was truly able to relax thanks to the staff’s thoughtful and warm hospitality. Their service reflected the values of the manager and leadership, as well as the Hotel’s overall commitment to welcoming guests. I stayed for six nights, and I sincerely appreciate all your kindness—thank you very much.

Quiet despite being close to the station. The room was also very quiet, and I slept soundly. The hot towel at check-in was so refreshing. Receiving a tablet at check-out gave me peace of mind. The Hotel staff also had a calm atmosphere, which helped me relax. Thank you very much.

I returned to Japan on short notice and stayed alone in a single Room. Since I’m slightly claustrophobic, I was worried about the Room size until I checked in, but it was not an issue at all. At 12 m² it isn’t large, but the clean and functional Room was very comfortable. The Facility was also very clean. There is a coin laundry and a microwave, which was convenient. All staff—the front desk team, housekeeping, and the breakfast kitchen staff—provided excellent service. The front desk staff in particular were kind and courteous, and they patiently helped me with even small details; I’m truly grateful. As this was my first time returning alone, their greetings of “Have a good day” and “Welcome back” made me very happy. The area around the Facility is quiet, and although I was traveling alone as a woman, I felt safe even late at night. There is a convenience store right next to the Hotel, which is very handy. It’s also about a 7-minute straight walk to the station, which is convenient. I’m really glad I stayed at Keio Presso Inn Ikebukuro this time. If I have another opportunity, I would love to stay again.

As I was traveling alone as a woman, I decided to try the ladies-only floor, and it was excellent. There were basic skincare amenities, and there was also a bottle of cleansing oil in the bathroom. The Room had a hair iron, and I was impressed to find an electric foot massager as well. This may be available on other floors too, but there were free dispensers in the hallway for tea and a sports drink–style water, so I didn’t need to buy bottled drinks. The Room was clean, the location was convenient, and it offered great value for money. I’d love to stay here again.

It had been a while since my last Multiple Night Stay, but I was able to relax very well. The meals were delicious, and I ate more breakfast than usual. I was especially happy that yogurt was available. Due to time constraints, I couldn’t fully enjoy the complimentary drinks at a leisurely pace, but overall it was a satisfying stay.

I don’t stay at a Business Hotel very often, but after reading other guests’ Reviews, I felt they were exactly right. Considering the location, I think the price is reasonable. Since it’s uncommon to drive within Tokyo’s 23 wards, it seemed there were only two parking spaces available, but even though I stayed on a Sunday night, I was able to apply on the day and get a spot, which was a big help. I had been prepared to use a nearby paid parking lot, but it was much easier being able to park in the closest place. The room itself felt perfectly fine. Breakfast was also delicious.

I’ve stayed here several times. It’s very close to the station so it’s easy to find, very clean, and reasonably priced—I really like it. I made a Reservation for a single Room, but I was upgraded to a spacious twin Room, which I really appreciated. The bathroom and toilet were separate, so I could relax in the bath and was very happy. The staff were also very friendly. I’ll definitely stay here again when I visit Tokyo.

In a world where everything is expensive, I was glad I could stay here at a relatively reasonable price. It’s probably less than a 5-minute walk from Tabata Station South Exit, but the route from the station to the Hotel is uphill, so if you have heavy luggage it can be quite tiring—something to keep in mind. (Going downhill was easy.) As soon as you enter, you’ll see the front desk, but it’s on the 4th floor, which can be a bit confusing. My Room was on the 2nd floor, so I had to take the elevator down from the front desk, which felt unusual. (That said, it wasn’t inconvenient at all, so it didn’t really bother me.) Amenities are minimal, but I had no complaints—I just need shampoo/conditioner and a toothbrush. Until the last train, you can hear train noise, but if you treat it as background sound it doesn’t bother you much. If it’s affordable with good train access in Tokyo, I can overlook some things. More than anything, I feel very grateful for being able to stay at such a low price.

I still think this is a wonderful Hotel. The staff’s hospitality and service were excellent, and I was able to enjoy another comfortable stay. Also, the breakfast was just as delicious as before, and I was very satisfied. The morning pasta made to order and the white wine were outstanding. One thing I noticed was the area around the shelf installed above the bathtub. With a bit more attention to cleaning and inspection, the stay would feel even more pleasant. Also, since the outlet is more than 1 meter from the bed, I recommend bringing a slightly longer charging cable if you want to charge your devices at your bedside. Overall, it was a highly satisfying stay. I would like to stay again. Thank you very much.

Compared with a typical Business Hotel, I could stay comfortably in the Room without hearing noise or voices from the hallway. I was also glad that outside noise was hardly noticeable.

This was the only place I found, and I had heard there would be construction, but there was no noise. If the construction hadn't started yet, it might be better not to mention it during check-in as it could cause unnecessary concern.

I stayed here for an exam, and it was truly wonderful. First, I received some supportive snacks for exam takers, which helped ease my nerves and encouraged me. The Hotel was clean and well maintained, and a humidifier was provided. For exam takers, the breakfast hours were also moved a little earlier, and I am very, very grateful.

The room initially seemed small and uncomfortable based on the photos, but it turned out to be a pleasant stay. The view from the room's window was likely one of the reasons for this, as it felt open and not claustrophobic. The bathroom and toilet were indeed small and not very comfortable to use. However, there were no malfunctions, and as expected, the toilet had a bidet function. I'll give it full marks for that reason alone. It might be worth upgrading the showerhead to something better since this is not a Business Hotel. Adding an odor-eliminating feature to the toilet could also improve things further. A slightly larger TV screen in the room would have been better since it's not very clear when viewed from the bed. I used my own DVDs with a DVD player provided in the room and watched Saariaho's "L'Amour de Loin" and Pergolesi's "Adriano in Siria." The soundproofing of the room could be improved as some ambient noise from outside was audible, though it wasn't overly disruptive—just enough to keep my volume low while watching movies or listening to music. The room was clean with a comfortable bed, offering no major inconveniences; however, overall it felt comparable to a Business Hotel standard. Some high-end Business Hotels even offer better rooms than this one—with more functional TVs, air purifiers readily available, or accessory trays provided. For its price point, I found the room somewhat lacking; however, what truly stands out about this hotel is its excellent location—it’s directly connected to Sunshine City shopping complex! The hotel's interior design is stylish overall; having well-stocked convenience store items nearby adds value too! The view from my upgraded higher-grade Room (thanks due-to availability) especially shines at night-time scenery-wise! Elevators are plentiful so waiting times aren’t frustrating either! Breakfast buffet quality-wise rates average yet unique inclusion like buckwheat galettes stood-out positively amongst offerings! In conclusion: While pricing may lean towards expensive-side relatively speaking—this accommodation excels primarily thanks-to unbeatable location alongside stunning nighttime views

Once a year, I stay here when I have work near the Hotel. The Room is clean, and it is quiet despite being in the city center. I can rest with peace of mind until work the next day. I’m not good at driving, and when I had trouble maneuvering in the Hotel parking lot and called the front desk for help, they came right away and guided me. The Room has an electric kettle and tea bags, so you can enjoy a warm cup of tea. From sharing an elevator with what seemed to be inbound international travelers, this Hotel appears to be popular. I would like to stay here again next year.

Very close to the station, with a LAN behind it. Shopping areas are also not far—an excellent location. We booked at a good rate: 39,000 for three days for three people. If I can get a price like this again, I would consider staying here again.
