It was wonderful. The Room was spacious, and the in-room Onsen was excellent—I enjoyed it many times. The private bath had no time limit, and I could use it anytime as long as it was available, which made me very satisfied. The staff greeted me with smiles. Above all, every meal was delicious and made me feel truly happy. I have stayed at various Accommodations before, but I think this one was the best. During my stay, I already wanted to come back again. It was truly great. Thank you very much.

This was our first stay here, and among all the places we’ve visited, it was the best Accommodation for Western-style cuisine. Thank you to all the staff for your hospitality from welcome to farewell. The Room (very relaxing) and the bath (the in-room bath was more than enough) were both excellent. Above all, the meals were outstanding—both dinner and breakfast. Each dish was beautifully presented (including the tableware) and delicious, and we were amazed by how many items there were in the Japanese breakfast (we finished everything). We will definitely visit again during the autumn foliage season. One request: it would be nice to have body wash towels available in the bath area.

The owners were truly kind and welcoming, and their hospitality was very soothing. The resident dogs, Bell and Cherry, were also adorable. The Room was spacious, and the dog run outside the Room was great. All of the meals were delicious, especially the duck steak, the pudding-like dessert, the fresh salad, the morning cherry tomato salad-like dish, and the egg-salad omelet-style dish. We would love to visit again.

The surroundings were wonderful, and this has become a Hotel we’d love to stay at again. The walking paths were lovely, and our dog looked like they really enjoyed the walks. There’s also an animal hospital nearby, which was reassuring. We’ll be back. It rained on the day we left this time, so next time we hope to visit when it’s sunny… There also seem to be some great shops nearby, so we’d like to explore them.

The hospitality and the restaurant cuisine were outstanding in every respect. Their attentive, courteous communication before our stay left a strong impression, and on the day of our visit, everyone—from the seasoned staff to the younger team members—provided genuinely pleasant service. If you want a reliably excellent experience in Karuizawa, HIRAMATSU is without doubt the place to choose.

They say this mountain Hotel opened in recent years as they’re planning to rebuild Takamine Kogen Hotel soon. Dinner was a beautifully presented and delicious set course. I couldn’t have breakfast because I left early in the morning to climb Mt. Asama, but according to the Hotel’s information it’s an elaborate bread-based breakfast (too bad I missed it). From 8:30 p.m., it’s bar time and drinks are free! All the Facility is new and spotless. The bath is a bit small, and there’s no open-air bath, which was slightly disappointing. They also gave me a free ticket for the Onsen at Takamine Kogen Hotel. Being able to bathe after hiking was very satisfying.

This was my first time using this accommodation. The facility is small, and the building is old, so the equipment is average, but I think it is well-maintained. The sense of security during the stay and the breakfast service met my expectations and were satisfying. If I had to point out something, it would be that the bathroom operates on a gender-swapping schedule, limiting usage times, and there is only one elevator, which can lead to waiting during busy hours. That said, there are restaurants and supermarkets within walking distance, making it a very convenient location.

Although it rained, we still had a truly wonderful time as a family—it didn’t bother us at all. The Facility was very quiet and relaxing, a special place where you can forget everyday life and unwind. Everything we needed was well provided, and our stay was very comfortable. The staff were also genuinely pleasant, and we really appreciated their thoughtful, unobtrusive care. The restaurant we used during our stay was excellent as well! The food was truly delicious and became one of the highlights of our trip. As parents, we were so happy to see our children enjoying every bite. There is also a convenience store nearby, which is handy for quick shopping. Since it rained this time, we’d love to visit again in a season with nicer weather. On the way home, our whole family kept saying, “Let’s come back.” Highly recommended for anyone looking to relax in Karuizawa!

This was my first time staying at this Hotel. The front desk staff were wonderful, and the food was delicious—I was very satisfied. Just one thing: coffee was provided in the morning, but it was a coffee drink rather than brewed coffee, which was a little disappointing. Still, considering everything overall, I felt it offered excellent value for money. Thank you very much.

To all the staff at Karuizawa Club Hotel 1130, thank you as always for your kind support. My family has stayed here many times over the past few years, and this time we were finally able to make a Reservation for the Premium Family Suite Room we had long hoped for, so we stayed yesterday. As its name suggests, it was the highest-grade Room among the many Rooms at Karuizawa Hotel 1130. There was an open-air jacuzzi bath on the balcony, and two indoor baths inside as well. There were also two restrooms, and four separate rooms in total—one of them a bedroom with a skylight that lets you gaze up at the sky. Because every space was so luxurious, my whole family was thrilled the moment we stepped into each room. We had reserved Japanese kaiseki at Yamaboshi well in advance, but it was changed to a buffet Plan. Just like in Hewitt Resort’s TV commercial, the buffet venue was beautiful and the selection was extensive. From the live kitchen at dinner to freshly made rice balls at breakfast, everything exceeded our expectations. The staff were all courteous and kind, which helped us greatly. We also visited the open-air bath at Onioshi Onsen; it had been renovated and made it easier to access directly from the indoor bath area. We will be staying one more night later this month as well, and we are looking forward to enjoying the same Premium Family Suite Room again. Each time we stay, this wonderful Hotel continues to evolve even further—and it has become our family’s favorite. I hope other guests can experience that same sense of excitement too. After touring the Komoro Distillery, we walked from Komoro Station to this Ryokan. The website said it was a 20-minute walk, but it took us about 30 minutes. We took a taxi on the way back. At the front desk, we were served plum soda and then shown to our Room. This time we stayed in a Room with a private indoor Onsen bath. It was a bit old, but very clean and well maintained. There is also a large public bath, but it is up quite a steep stone staircase, and my husband said it would be safer to use the bath in our Room instead—so we did. The Onsen left our skin feeling wonderfully smooth. I have had dinner at many Ryokan over the years, but every dish here was truly delicious. You could call it creative Japanese cuisine—both the presentation and flavors were excellent. They served salt-grilled ayu (sweetfish). I usually give ayu to my husband because of all the bones, but they told us you can even eat the bones in the head here, so I tried it for the first time—and really didn’t notice any bones at all. Because the food was so good, we also enjoyed it with their sake tasting set. Having an in-room bath meant we could enjoy it whenever we liked, which was wonderful. Breakfast included barley rice with grated yam (mugi-toro), grilled fish, ginger-flavored Onsen egg, and many other dishes—we enjoyed everything. A taxi to Komoro Station costs 1,000 yen, which is much better than walking for 30 minutes. It made me want to visit Komoro again next time as well.

I chose this Accommodation because I was very interested in the open-air bath accessed by the mountain railway. I enjoyed it so much that I ended up using it three times during my stay. Since it was Monday right after the holiday period, it was very quiet, which was great. The Facility has the charm of a classic Onsen Accommodation, and the guest rooms have been beautifully renovated, making it extremely relaxing. I would love to stay again.

I visit Sugadaira every summer, so I check early, but I can never get a Reservation. This time I happened to get one, so it was my first stay. The area around the Hotel is very quiet, and the view from the Room is wonderful. After soaking in the Onsen, my skin stayed moisturized for a while. Everyone—at the front desk and in the restaurant—was truly pleasant and welcoming, and I had a great time. The buffet made the most of fresh vegetables and was thoughtfully prepared rather than relying on cheap ready-made sauces, and it was delicious. Since it’s so hard to secure an Accommodation Reservation here, I’d come just for the meal. There was a sheet listing the names of the mountains visible from the Room window, hooks placed throughout the Room for hanging clothes (probably for winter ski wear), a towel provided for use at the washbasin, and even a cube-shaped power strip with five outlets. It’s a Hotel with attentive care down to every detail. I would definitely like to stay again if I can get another Reservation.

Three elderly women stayed here together. We arrived by car, and the location was easy to find. The underground parking garage was spacious, so we could park with peace of mind. Kaikoen Garden is right next door, and the view was wonderful. The bath also had a great view, with large windows that made it easy to relax. We always stay at Itoen Hotel properties. The all-you-can-eat and all-you-can-drink options are affordable and very appreciated for seniors. The front desk staff were also friendly, and we enjoyed chatting at checkout, which made it a great trip. Thank you very much.

We stayed with you last year and returned again this year, and despite the intense heat, it was wonderfully cool, allowing both our minds and bodies to truly relax. We plan to come back again next year with our two dogs. On the way here, we were also able to visit Kumano Kotai Shrine (Kumano Kōtaijingū), famous for its “long-life shrine for dogs,” where we prayed once again this year for our dogs’ knee health and overall well-being.

I stayed here the night before a hike. I had made a Reservation with rice balls for breakfast, but at check-in they kindly changed it to an earlier Ryokan-style meal. It was relaxing and very nice. I was able to enjoy the free-flowing Onsen almost privately. Although the building is old, it was well cleaned throughout. I would love to stay again.

We stayed here for my husband’s birthday trip and also requested a birthday cake. Throughout our stay, we felt the staff’s thoughtful hospitality, and it was a Hotel we would love to return to. We were also grateful to be upgraded to a higher-grade Room free of charge—every service was truly appreciated. The calm atmosphere allowed us to relax and enjoy our time. Thank you very much.

The advance parking information was very helpful. We had a Multiple Night Stay, and Room cleaning was provided every other day. That was more than enough for us. Fresh towels and other items were provided, so we had no issues. We would love to stay again!

We stayed here for my partner’s birthday trip. Surrounded by nature in a quiet setting, we were able to step away from everyday life and spend a truly wonderful time. The room was very clean, and the Facility and amenities were well equipped, so we stayed comfortably without any inconvenience throughout our stay. The size was just right, and it felt like a very cozy space for two adults. The sauna is electric, so even someone like me who isn’t used to wood-fired saunas could enjoy it easily—and it still felt authentic, which was more than satisfying. Before our stay, they also shared helpful information such as the destination (Google Maps), what to bring, and recommended nearby places, which we really appreciated. Next time, we’d love to stay for multiple nights!

The rooms, terrace, and BBQ area were all very clean, and it was a wonderful Accommodation with thoughtful attention to detail. The grill we reserved in advance was perfectly prepared, and there was a great selection of insect repellent items, dog supplies, indoor games, and welcome drinks—our whole family was more than satisfied.
