Despite being reasonably priced, the Facility, Onsen, and meals were all excellent. They also offer Shuttle Service to Shin-Hakodate-Hokuto Station and Onuma-Koen Station, so we were able to enjoy our stay even without a car. The Hotel is also barrier-free, and we saw several guests using wheelchairs, making it a place that guests of all ages can enjoy.

I chose the Onuma Prince Hotel for my friend visiting from afar. They were delighted, saying they could relax, fully enjoy the Onsen, and sleep well—it was wonderful. I’m grateful for the staff’s warm smiles and kind service.

We were completely satisfied with everything—the Room, the meals, and the Onsen! We truly appreciated all the accommodations made for my nephew’s allergies. The kids also found lots of stag beetles and made wonderful summer vacation memories. It looks like this will become an annual tradition.

A wonderful luxury villa quietly nestled in a picture-perfect setting with views of Mt. Komagatake. The king-size bed, plush high-quality towels, and thoughtfully selected amenities had the feel of a top-class hotel, while the refined full kitchen and large refrigerator were very convenient. With carefully planned lighting, appliances, furniture, a fireplace, and high ceilings—true villa touches—it was a beautifully curated place that showed great attention to detail. The in-room hot spring bath had silky water with a higher pH; it was so smooth you almost worry about slipping. It felt great on the skin and was deeply relaxing. There was also a heater next to the towel rack—perhaps another thoughtful touch to help towels dry? I did wish there were a separate spa facility as well. Dinner BBQ was extremely satisfying, with plenty of carefully chosen meats and seafood. The jingisukan (grilled lamb) and finishing soup curry were also delicious. In this season there weren’t many insects even outdoors, so we could enjoy it while feeling close to nature. We enjoyed the pumpkin dessert back in the room with the provided drip coffee—absolutely delightful. The large wall-mounted TV in the room was easy to watch, and when there was an issue with the connection, staff came right away to fix it for us. Breakfast was a full Western-style meal, and everything was delicious. The welcome drink service at the bar in the front building upon arrival had just started recently, but we enjoyed lovely cocktails—an elegant moment that built excitement for our stay along with views of Mt. Komagatake through the window. I think it’s an excellent idea. I completely agree with comments saying they would travel specifically for Angel Grand Villa Hakodate—it really is that kind of place. We found an accommodation we can truly recommend; you can feel how much the staff want to make things even better here. We would love to return again. We had a wonderful birthday eve!
