Located near Obihiro Station and close to the nightlife district, this Hotel offers an excellent location where you’ll never have trouble finding food or drinks at night. The parking lot includes a multi-story facility and partnerships, making it perfect for those who wish to park their car and head out again. The lobby, front desk, Onsen, and guest rooms are all exceptionally clean and well-maintained, providing a very comfortable stay. The Onsen features the famous moor hot spring water, which is a rare treat at this price point. Breakfast is served as a buffet packed with delicious specialties from the Tokachi region. Every dish was incredibly flavorful—truly impressive. Having visited Hokkaido multiple times before, I can confidently say that this Hotel offers some of the best cuisine in its price range. Additionally, when I contacted them later regarding forgotten items left behind during my stay, their response was extremely kind and thorough. Thanks to their attentive service, I was able to retrieve my belongings without disrupting my travel plans. This Hotel truly lives up to its name as a premier destination with outstanding rooms, dining options, and service—a perfect combination for any traveler!

We stayed here last year and had such a wonderful time that we definitely wanted to come back. This year, we chose our travel destination mainly because we wanted to stay at this Accommodation again, and it did not disappoint. Our Room had an indoor bath, but the open-air bath was so relaxing that we never even found time to use the indoor one (laughs). This is truly an Accommodation we want to return to again. I stayed here at the end of my trip to Hokkaido. The places I stayed before were wonderful as well, but this Tokachigawa Onsen Daiichi Hotel was outstanding. Every dish at the buffet was delicious. I wanted to try more, but I got full and couldn’t eat everything, which I still regret a little. The kamameshi rice was especially good, and the meat was excellent too—in fact, everything I tried tasted great. When I went to the Onsen early in the morning (just after 5 a.m.), I saw staff baking bread. I had some at breakfast, and it was also very tasty. The moor Onsen had a gentle natural scent and a wonderfully silky feel on the skin; one night wasn’t enough. This time I couldn’t take my time sightseeing around Tokachi, so I would love to come back again next year. More than anything, what left me with such a great impression of the Hotel was an employee at the souvenir shop “Tamatebako.” The trainee wearing a training name badge had an amazing smile and provided excellent service. When I told them how pleasant they were, they responded with another lovely smile. Of course it comes down to personal qualities as well, but it also made me feel that the Hotel’s management philosophy must be excellent for staff like this to grow here. All of the other staff were wonderful too, and it reminded me that not only the Onsen and food but also people’s hospitality is what truly shapes a trip. Thank you for helping me make such great memories—I would like to stay again next year as well.

Return Visit Stayed for two nights a few years ago and was amazed by how incredible the Moor Onsen was. They even had our past stay history on record, which really showed their professionalism. At the time, we were a bit bothered by some odors in the Room and Onsen, so we “cheated” for a while with a newer Accommodation nearby (laugh). This time, we made a Reservation for a newly renovated Room. Bottom line: it was excellent! I’m not really into saunas, but I enjoyed it because you can adjust the temperature in various ways and even listen to music. There were plenty of towels, and bathrobes were provided as well. The only downside was that the open-air bath was slightly too hot. The food was delicious, and the service was flawless. If they renovate more guest rooms, we will definitely stay again.

All the staff I interacted with (front desk, restaurant, and gift shop) had a great atmosphere—and their service was excellent as well. The food was delicious, and the all-you-can-drink plan included Sapporo beer. The Onsen was a comfortable size, and thanks to renovations a few years ago, the Room didn’t feel outdated at all. If I have the chance, I’d love to come again and stay here again.

The Hotel was not far from Obihiro Station, yet it was quiet and surrounded by trees. Thank you for accommodating my companion’s food allergies even though we informed you at the last minute during dinner. Thanks to you, we were able to enjoy every dish without leaving anything behind, all rich with flavorful dashi. In addition to the unique texture of the Moor Onsen, there was also an open-air bath, and I ended up soaking for a long time. The delicious meals in a calm atmosphere and the pleasant Onsen soothed our bodies after a long journey.

Since there were no vacancies at other facilities, I made a Reservation. I wasn’t expecting much because it wasn’t a high-priced property, but the meals and the view from the restaurant were wonderful. However, the coffee machine used powdered milk and it tasted terrible. I’d like to visit again if I have the chance.

Please remove your shoes upon arrival; guests generally walk around in socks. I loved it from that moment on! The room felt modern, was quite spacious, and very clean—so impressive. All-you-can-drink is available from check-in until 21:00. I don’t drink alcohol myself, but there was a great selection and my companion was very happy. I was a bit disappointed that the “milk” seemed more like a milk beverage, but there were plenty of other drinks. It felt wonderful to enjoy drinks while soaking in the footbath. For dinner we chose the top course, and it was my first time having such amazing meat!!! The salad bar was also very satisfying. The foreign staff member who explained everything to us seemed sweet and new at the job—I couldn’t help but want to cheer her on. Her smile was lovely! Not just her—everyone on staff was kind and had great smiles. There are two baths: the “Beauty Bath” and the “Health Bath.” The Beauty Bath is definitely more exciting. There were ReFa shower heads with a mist setting, and the hair dryers were Panasonic and ReFa as well. It was also nice that you can borrow shampoo. I’d seen reviews saying there wasn’t much for breakfast, but I was satisfied! The curry had a Japanese-style flavor and was delicious. The croquettes were great too—I ate a lot. I also loved being able to eat lots of cherry tomatoes at both dinner and breakfast (I wonder where they’re from). Maybe it just happened to be that way during our stay, but most guests seemed older, and since there aren’t many rooms overall, it felt calm and relaxing—which I really liked. I’d love to stay again. It’s also nice that you can play park golf—I didn’t try it this time, but maybe I should have!

The necessary amenities were prepared in the room, which was reassuring. The location, twin room, service, Onsen, and breakfast were all comfortable at this Hotel. During our 4-night trip to Eastern Hokkaido, this was the most comfortable stay.

Thank you for your hospitality. I was tired from driving, so the bath and sauna were very relaxing. Both breakfast and dinner offered a wide variety of dishes, and everything was delicious. I stayed in a single Room with a bath; it was spacious enough, and I left the Hotel very satisfied. I would like to stay again!

Although the Facility feels a bit old, the Room was clean and comfortable. This time, we mainly used it for the baths. We would like to stay again.

We stayed in a barrier-free Room. The Room had been nicely renovated and was comfortable. However, the washroom and toilet doors are automatic, and the noise was quite noticeable. Especially at night, whenever a family member went to the toilet, I woke up each time. The meals were tasty overall, but I felt they could have featured a bit more of Tokachi’s local character. The large public bath had a spacious washing area, but the bathtub felt small. The bath in our Room was spacious and comfortable, but the water was very hot, so we needed to adjust the temperature by adding cold water. We stayed for two nights as a family, and although there were a few points of concern, we had an overall comfortable stay.
