This was my first stay here. From the moment I arrived at the Hotel, the staff’s hospitality at the entrance was so attentive that it’s impossible to compare with other hotels. When I entered my Room, it was spotless—not a speck of dust—and I was truly impressed by the outstanding skill of the housekeeping team. In the evening, I used in-room dining and had grilled vegetables, soup, and focaccia. Everything was absolutely delicious and genuinely moving. If you stay here, I highly recommend trying in-room dining. This time I booked a Plan with breakfast included, so I enjoyed breakfast at the restaurant on the first floor. There were three options to choose from, and I felt it’s a menu loved by guests of all ages. I traveled here from Tohoku, and it took quite a bit of time and money—but this was an exceptional Hotel that still made me think, “I want to stay here anyway!” Thank you very much for taking such great care of me during my stay.

Among city hotels, this is an excellent hotel, second only to Kimpton Shinjuku. With a price range about 1/5 of Kimpton's, it offers outstanding value for money. It's truly wonderful to have a hotel near Nijo Castle that allows large dogs. I will definitely stay here again!

For rooms with only a shower, women need to get a card from the front desk on the first floor to use the public bath, and I initially didn’t know where to find bags for towels, etc. The lounge, Room, and bed were all comfortable, and breakfast was delicious. We’re already talki

While it’s not a particularly unique hotel aside from its large collection of manga books, it has a calming atmosphere. The bento-style breakfast is delicious and something I look forward to every time. The hotel faces the spacious Horikawa Street, offering a refreshing sense o

During breakfast, the service staff were attentive and considerate. I did not use the public bath. The only downside is that it’s a bit of a walk from the nearest station. Other than that, the staff are top-notch. This is a Hotel I would love to stay at for an extended peri

Welcome sweets provided, amenities by Jill Stuart included, the Room was spacious and clean, and the variety of drinks made it perfect for a girls' trip. The complimentary snacks and drinks at the breakfast venue were a delightful touch. When we asked the front desk for dinner

I was kindly shown to my Room right away, which I really appreciated. I booked a standard Room, and it was next door to the sauna Room, making it easy to go back and forth and very comfortable. The sauna was very clean, and I was happy that the amenities were Aesop and the hair

I think it offers excellent value for money. I was impressed by the wonderful large public bath. The room was also clean, and I was very satisfied. If I have the chance, I would like to stay here again.

I stayed for a Multiple Night Stay. I was glad to have privacy in a private room with a lock. Being mindful of noise is part of the capsule experience. Earplugs were provided, so I was able to sleep soundly until the afternoon. The bed is on the firm side, but personally I preferred it to one that’s too soft. It would be nice to have an outlet near the bed. There were only outlets at the desk, so I couldn’t charge my devices while falling asleep. Since it’s stairs only, guests staying on upper floors will need to make an effort.

The room was clean, the front desk service was fine, and the price was a great value. It was a bit disappointing that there were no pajamas, but the slippers were comfortable terry cloth rather than flimsy non-woven ones. The only drink provided was tea; it would have been nice

We stayed for five nights as a family. It was in a location that let us live like locals in Kyoto. There was a ramen and gyoza restaurant next door, a convenience store across the street, and a well-stocked supermarket within walking distance (with a 100-yen shop and fast-food restaurants as well). The Kyoto Imperial Palace and Nijo Castle were also within walking distance. We could easily go out for breakfast in different places, too. Even when we came back tired from sightseeing every day, we had fluffy beds, a spacious bathroom, strong shower pressure, and a large table in the living area. Because it was clearly separated from the bedroom, it was perfect for the kids to do their summer homework. Using the key card to take the elevator up felt great—when the door opened, it was already our own private floor/Room space.

Clean, comfortable, and affordable. However, it was disappointing that there were no dining Facilities as there are few cafes or restaurants nearby. It was shocking to experience for the first time that luggage could not be stored after check-out. We would appreciate it if
