Everything was always clean, and I had a very comfortable stay! All of the staff provided wonderful hospitality. This time, I chose the “Tajima Beef Colorful Kaiseki” course! They carefully explained each dish, which made it even more enjoyable. I was able to fully enjoy Kinosaki at night.

I visited Izushi to pay my respects at a family grave, and stayed at Nishimuraya Shogetsutei in Kinosaki Onsen for the first time in a while. The room was spacious. At Kinosaki Onsen Station, there is a place at the tourist information center where they can store your luggage and deliver it directly to the hotel, so I was able to travel light—going to Toyooka and then on to Izushi. The hotel’s baths were also large, and I could relax. I also enjoyed visiting the public bathhouses; although it’s a bit far from the station, I appreciated that there is a shuttle bus. Dinner was delicious. Breakfast was a buffet, but this time I kept it light. There was a good variety of options. Next time, I’d like to come for crab. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

We stayed here for our honeymoon. Both the staff member who guided us at check-in and the person in charge of dinner struck the perfect balance—warm, attentive, and sincerely welcoming—so we were able to relax and enjoy our stay. We splurged on the Tajima beef kaiseki. There were no vacancies for a second-floor Room, so we were a little worried about dining in the restaurant, but it turned out to be a completely private room and felt very special. We were also happy that the menu had our new last name and the date printed on it, so we took it home as a keepsake. *Sound does carry quite a bit, so when the guests next door spoke loudly at times, their conversation drowned ours out (in a funny way). More than satisfied. We were absolutely stuffed. I was looking forward to late-night soba, but there was no room left—if anything, we went back to our Room and fell asleep right away. Such a shame. Both dinner and breakfast offered choices, which added an extra special touch and made us very happy. The rice at breakfast was so good—I couldn’t finish it all and wished I could have made onigiri… It had been ages since I slept on a futon mattress, so I was nervous, but there was a mattress underneath and it felt just like sleeping in a bed. And the amenities were Sekkisei… In the women’s large public bath there was also an assortment of shampoos to choose from—even ReFa shampoo was available. I usually bring my own because I worry whether provided products will suit my skin or hair, but this time I didn’t need any skincare at all… which almost made me regret packing mine. This Accommodation left us with “the best kind of regret”—the kind that makes you want to come back. Next time we’re celebrating an anniversary or another special occasion, we’d love to upgrade to a higher-grade Room. Thank you again—we hope to return.

I chose this property based on a Review saying it was convenient for visiting the public baths. At the end of August, after the summer holidays when things were a bit quieter, they upgraded us from a standard Room to a Room with an open-air bath. I used the open-air bath twice, morning and night. It was quiet, and the breeze felt wonderful. The food was very delicious, but the main dish—seared Tajima beef—was a little tough and I couldn’t bite through it in one go, which was slightly disappointing. When I said I was full and couldn’t finish dessert, a staff member wrapped it and put it in the refrigerator for me. I enjoyed it later after my bath before bed. They also kindly explained things like tips for visiting the public baths and even sprayed deodorizer since in-room dining can leave lingering smells—everyone was very pleasant and attentive. The entire building is covered with tatami mats (even inside the elevator), and walking around barefoot felt great. The bath is small, but it was very clean, and there is also an open-air bath, so we enjoyed it 충분に. I would like to stay again if I have the chance. Thank you to all the staff we met for such a comfortable time.

My first time back in Kinosaki Onsen in decades. I wasn’t sure which Accommodation to choose, but “Away from the hustle and bustle” was the deciding factor. Just as the Reviews said, the food was unquestionably delicious, and the tableware and presentation were wonderful. What impressed me most was the attendant who looked after us for both days without change. She always greeted us with a smile, our conversations flowed easily, and she made us feel at home. She also answered our questions about the onsen town accurately, so we could enjoy visiting the public baths with peace of mind. Because we had to leave early for our own reasons, they prepared breakfast outside regular hours, and even drove us to the bus stop in front of Kinosaki Onsen Station. With everyone’s help at this Ryokan, we were able to start our journey home safely. I can’t thank them enough—thank you very much. Her wonderful smile is my best memory from this trip. I would love to stay again.

The modern Japanese-Western style room was very comfortable, and we appreciated the thoughtful attention to detail for small children, such as pushing the beds together and limiting the height of the cushions. The meals were excellent, and the dessert pudding was especially delicious—I wanted to buy some to take home as a souvenir. Kinosaki in the rain also had a charming atmosphere, and we were very satisfied.

It was a truly wonderful stay. All of the staff were very attentive, and the food was delicious—I definitely want to come again. The Tajima beef hitsumabushi in particular was outstanding! I’m sorry I didn’t make good use of the lounge this time, so next time I’d like to enjoy it properly. Thank you very much.

The entire Accommodation is covered with tatami mats, making it exceptionally comfortable and relaxing. Some staff members speak English and Chinese, and they always greeted us with a smile while kindly explaining the Facility. The staff in charge of our meals were also very attentive and even helped us crack the crab. What impressed us most was that they remembered our faces and Room number right after check-in. At check-out, they promptly prepared our shoes and luggage. The meals were luxurious and delicious, and we thoroughly enjoyed high-quality seafood (crab) as well as beef. This time we chose two options—sukiyaki and shabu-shabu. Shabu-shabu is a bit more expensive, but it is well worth the price. The Onsen facilities were excellent: in addition to the indoor bath, the open-air area had a hot bath, a cold bath, and even a sauna—perfect. We were also happy that the hair dryer was ReFa! The post-bath lounge (relaxation area) offered various drinks, light snacks, and massage chairs. Personally, I think this is an outstanding Accommodation that rivals Hoshino Resorts KAI. While the building itself feels slightly dated, I found the quality of the cuisine to be far superior to Hoshino Resorts. Thank you for such a wonderful stay.

We visited Kinosaki Onsen on a family trip. Since it was a special occasion, we stayed at Mikiya to experience the atmosphere of Naoya Shiga’s “At Kinosaki.” The location is a bit deeper into the Onsen town, and the roads from the station to the Ryokan are generally narrow, so if you are driving, extra caution is needed during busy pedestrian hours. Compared with the lively street outside, the Accommodation itself was quiet, and we had a very relaxing time. The indoor bath is compact, but I personally found it very comfortable. You can also enjoy the public baths around town, so I recommend trying several. The meals were delicious and just the right amount. The staff were attentive as well—overall, it was a wonderfully quiet Ryokan with great character.

We stayed as a family with children, split across three Rooms. During Silver Week, many people were heading to Kinosaki Marine World, and since there is only one road to the parking area, there was severe traffic congestion. Even though we were nearby, we couldn’t move forward for a while and were worried about what would happen. Later, thanks to staff guidance, we were able to reach the front of the Hotel and felt relieved. At that moment, I truly felt glad we had made a Reservation at Kinparo. For dinner, they prepared a private dining Room so all three families could eat together. Even with small children moving around, we didn’t have to worry about disturbing other guests, and we could enjoy our meal at ease. Our child had an accident during the meal, but the staff handled it kindly and professionally—we are very grateful. The Room was spacious, and it was comfortable to relax in the Tokijiku Lounge and visit The Walrus Club as well—the open spaces made for a very pleasant stay. The view from the Hotel was wonderful, and all of the staff provided courteous service. We would love to stay again. Thank you very much.

The building itself is old, and to be honest I felt a little uneasy when I arrived, but the service from the slim woman at the front desk was excellent. Both at check-in and during the free Shuttle Service, she was consistently courteous and attentive, and she spoke kindly to our 2-year-old child as well. The pool and the guest room were new and very clean. I would definitely like to stay again if I have the chance.

I finally made it to Kinosaki Onsen, a place I had been wanting to visit for a long time. The public bath hopping, the crab kaiseki dinner, and the charming streets were all wonderful. Above all, the warm hospitality from the staff made this a truly relaxing and comforting trip. Thank you very much. I would love to visit again when it’s snowing.

We stayed during the Obon holiday season with my parents and my child, and the connecting rooms gave us plenty of space to relax. The magic show was really entertaining, and my child loved it! The Facility had just been renovated, so everything was clean and we had a very comfortable stay. There was a Reproizer hair dryer in the large public bath, which was a nice touch for women. I did notice the shampoo didn’t lather as well as I expected, so I wish I had brought my own. There were many families with children, and we appreciated the welcoming atmosphere where we could enjoy ourselves without feeling self-conscious even with kids. We had a wonderful time as a family. We’d love to come again!

I arrived a little earlier than the check-in time, but they warmly welcomed me without any displeasure, saying the Room was ready.\nThe Room was spacious for the price and felt just like a Ryokan.\nBecause it is old, I noticed a slight odor in the Room and hallway.\nAfter checking in, I went in and out several times, and each time they prepared my shoes. The front desk staff also helped with sightseeing advice—the service was truly excellent.

The Room was a maisonette type. The door used a standard key lock, and the gap in the restroom door made it slightly possible to see inside from outside, so overall it felt a bit old, but it was kept clean and well maintained. If there had been table tennis, the Facility would have been perfect. Checkout took a little time, but the staff handled it politely and left a very good impression. The meals were very satisfying for both children and adults. The free drinks in the lounge were also something the kids really enjoyed. I’d be happy to visit again.

I stayed here solo for two nights. My Room featured a modern interior renovated from a former fire station, with simple services focused on just the essentials. It’s rare in Kinosaki Onsen to find a Room with a balcony, and after bathing I could sit in a chair, feel the breeze outside, and truly unwind. It’s designed as one connected space together with the main building across the road, and the staff’s subtle attentiveness and friendly check-ins were very comforting. Meals aren’t included, but I enjoyed dining out in Kinosaki for the first time and discovered that many places stay open later than expected. The indoor bath was at just the right temperature and very convenient to use. After checkout, I stopped by the café on the first floor; breakfast enjoyed while looking at the large wall-sized artwork was delicious and made for a perfect end to my trip. This is an Accommodation I’d love to stay at again.

I don’t usually stay at small Ryokan, but given the area, I felt comfortable doing so. The property and rooms were well maintained and very pleasant. Above all, the service was excellent. We ran late for dinner, and after checkout they even delivered a forgotten item to the station… I’m truly sorry for the trouble… yet everyone was smiling—thank you very much. The meals were also carefully prepared and delicious. If I have the chance, I’d like to stay again. Since I only used the public bath outside, I’m rating the Onsen bath a 3. Sorry.

We stayed as a family of four, and having dinner served in our room allowed us to relax and enjoy the evening. When we asked to go on an outdoor hot spring tour, they even provided transportation, making this a very satisfying stay. The room had two beds plus a tatami area, so it turned into a friendly family “battle” over whether to sleep in the beds or on futons (laughs). We were so focused on visiting the outdoor baths that we kept putting off using the inn’s own bath, but we were pleasantly surprised by thoughtful touches such as being able to choose from different types of shampoo and conditioner, and having extra towels prepared in the changing area separate from those in the room. This was especially appreciated since many public baths only provide body soap and all-in-one shampoo. The staff member who assisted us also offered attentive hospitality—explaining the dishes, carrying our luggage, and guiding us to our room—service that feels rare these days. If we have another chance to visit Kinosaki, we would love to stay here again.

We stayed for one night with No Meals Included just after the Obon holiday season. The location is almost in the center of the Onsen town, right next to Ichino-yu, making it perfect for visiting the public baths and strolling around town. Our Room was on the 3rd floor facing the Onsen street, with two beds. Some details felt a bit dated, but overall it was clean and pleasant. You can clearly hear the sound of people’s geta outside, but I found it atmospheric and didn’t mind much. During summer vacation in Kinosaki Onsen, fireworks are launched from 21:00, and it was wonderful to be able to see them from our window. There are two indoor baths: the left one is quite lukewarm and may be good for soaking for a long time. The right one is a bit hotter and also has a cold bath, which I really appreciated! Since Kinosaki’s public baths don’t have cold baths, this was especially welcome for me. The water also pours like a waterfall from a lion-shaped spout (maybe), so you can let it hit your stiff shoulders like a water massage. For parking, the Ryokan’s information points to nearby paid parking lots, but there is also a municipal lot very close by that is cheaper at JPY 1,000 for 12 hours. However, when we arrived there was a waitlist line up, so we used “Kinosaki Motor Pool” listed in their guidance (JPY 1,700). The municipal lot is cheaper and allows longer stays, but if you take your car out during your stay you’ll be charged again each time—so if you plan to drive out for shopping or similar errands, Kinosaki Motor Pool may be more convenient. The young proprietress was very friendly and charming (according to my wife), and we enjoyed chatting with her. One small disappointment was that the air conditioner in our Room didn’t seem well cleaned—the airflow smelled slightly musty and there was visible dirt around the vent. A different Accommodation we stayed at last year had a dirty air conditioner too; maybe places where each Room has its own unit tend to struggle with keeping up with cleaning? Also, I didn’t notice while we were using toilets at the public baths during our outings—but when I used our toilet the next morning, the washlet function wasn’t working properly. Overall we were very satisfied, and we’d like to stay here again when we visit Kinosaki next time.
