I stayed for a Multiple Night Stay of two nights with breakfast included. Sometimes you get the same meals when staying multiple nights, but I was happy that the menu changed. There were many dishes and the portions were satisfying. The tableware was also lovely. The Ryokan has been renovated and both the exterior and interior are very clean. However, because the structure is an older wooden building, outside noise carries easily. More than voices, you can hear footsteps quite clearly. I stayed in a Room on the 2nd floor, and on the first night I could hear footsteps from upstairs until around 1:00 a.m., which was stressful. If you are sensitive to noise, it may be better to request a Room on the 3rd floor. When it rained, umbrellas and rain shoes were prepared at the entrance, so my feet didn’t get wet. Many people were walking outside in geta in the rain, but I was impressed by the rain-shoe service. The coffee, black tea, tea, and electrolyzed water service was also great. It felt like there were many younger staff members, but everyone was pleasant and helpful—and their English was fluent as well. It was a wonderful Ryokan where you can really feel attention to detail in everything from tableware and interior design to furniture and services. I would definitely like to stay again.

It was a great Accommodation! Since it was my first time staying at a guesthouse, I was a little nervous at first, but it was clean and I had no particular inconveniences. If you’re coming by car, I recommend contacting them in advance.

The staff’s thoughtful attention to detail is wonderful! The Facility seems to be a renovated historic building, and we had a very comfortable stay. The private family bath had amenities such as lotion, which was a big help since we had used ours up while visiting different Onsen. We were able to relax and enjoy it at the end of our Onsen-hopping. The rice cooked in an individual pot at breakfast is absolutely delicious. Highly recommended.

We stayed as a family of four, and having dinner served in our room allowed us to relax and enjoy the evening. When we asked to go on an outdoor hot spring tour, they even provided transportation, making this a very satisfying stay. The room had two beds plus a tatami area, so it turned into a friendly family “battle” over whether to sleep in the beds or on futons (laughs). We were so focused on visiting the outdoor baths that we kept putting off using the inn’s own bath, but we were pleasantly surprised by thoughtful touches such as being able to choose from different types of shampoo and conditioner, and having extra towels prepared in the changing area separate from those in the room. This was especially appreciated since many public baths only provide body soap and all-in-one shampoo. The staff member who assisted us also offered attentive hospitality—explaining the dishes, carrying our luggage, and guiding us to our room—service that feels rare these days. If we have another chance to visit Kinosaki, we would love to stay here again.

The four of us stayed with breakfast included. The food was delicious, and the owner and all the staff provided excellent service—thank you for your heartfelt hospitality. In addition, thank you for driving us from Kasumi to Toyooka on a morning of heavy snowfall.

I chose to stay here after seeing photos of the cute Room and the luxurious crab dishes. I was worried because heavy snow was forecast, but since my Reservation wasn’t made through the Ryokan’s website, I was told I couldn’t make any changes and a Cancellation Fee would apply, so I went ahead anyway. The trip there was fine, but the trip back was really tough. I managed to enjoy visiting the public baths, and I was very satisfied with the lavish crab cuisine. Even though I thought having sukiyaki in the morning might be a bit heavy, I finished it all! The large public bath is small, but it had a ReFa shower head and hair dryer, plus a hot stone sauna area, so I enjoyed it. There were also various yukata to choose from, which was nice. I’d like to visit again on a day with good weather.

All the staff were kind and pleasant. Every dish was delicious, and we were very satisfied. The international staff were all cheerful and greeted us with warm smiles, making our stay very comfortable. Thank you very much.

Conveniently located near the station and supermarkets, making it ideal for visiting public baths and shopping. The bath is a private family bath, so we were able to relax and enjoy it at our own pace. What we especially liked was the welcome drinks—unlimited refills, including alcoholic beverages—and snacks were also provided. We would like to stay again if we have the opportunity.

The Kasumi crab and sashimi served at dinner were very fresh and delicious. The sound of the waves played like background music in the Room and the open-air bath, creating a truly special, out-of-the-ordinary experience. Everyone at the Accommodation was kind, making this a very satisfying trip. Thank you very much.

By chance, a room became available due to a cancellation, and I was able to make a reservation. The accommodation cost was so cheap that it made me a bit anxious. I went to eat crab, and since the price was low, I wondered if the portion would be small, but I was surprised by the amount. I had crab sashimi for the first time. I was amazed at how delicious it was. Grilled crab, steamed crab, crab shabu-shabu, all were delicious and the best. Also, the crab rice for breakfast was delicious. I will definitely go every year!

The full-course crab sashimi was wonderfully sweet and delicious, and we enjoyed more crab than we could finish, including grilled crab and more. The renovated room was spotless in every corner, and the bed was extremely comfortable! I also heard the hot spring had been renovated, and it was very clean. Overall, we were completely satisfied with this stay and would definitely like to visit again.

It was a wonderful Ryokan, with outstanding architecture and Rooms. The Japanese-modern space, where different materials blend beautifully, was truly impressive. Walking barefoot indoors let us experience the feeling of staying in a traditional house with all five senses. Both the meals and the hospitality were excellent. In the morning, we were able to relax and fully enjoy the private family bath. The location was also great, making it easy to enjoy visiting multiple hot springs smoothly.

We stayed for one night and two days as a family of four. The dinner course, featuring crab and Tajima beef, exceeded our expectations with its luxurious offerings, and the finishing rice porridge was exceptional. Breakfast also offered a wide variety of dishes, leaving nothing to be desired. We visited all six Onsen spots, but we found the indoor bath here to be the best. The option to choose your favorite yukata was a nice touch, making it stand out from the standard ones provided by other Ryokan. The service was excellent, allowing us to enjoy a very pleasant stay. Coming from Hiroshima, we hope to visit again someday!

This was a well-deserved trip to celebrate my retirement, and the hospitality was outstanding. I carefully researched in advance, and it truly paid off. The crab was exactly as promised—1.5 servings of the real thing. Without me asking, the young proprietress noticed my build and changed my yukata to the right size. The Onsen could be reserved for private use, so I could relax at ease. I’d love to come back next year for another crab feast!

We stayed for one night with No Meals Included just after the Obon holiday season. The location is almost in the center of the Onsen town, right next to Ichino-yu, making it perfect for visiting the public baths and strolling around town. Our Room was on the 3rd floor facing the Onsen street, with two beds. Some details felt a bit dated, but overall it was clean and pleasant. You can clearly hear the sound of people’s geta outside, but I found it atmospheric and didn’t mind much. During summer vacation in Kinosaki Onsen, fireworks are launched from 21:00, and it was wonderful to be able to see them from our window. There are two indoor baths: the left one is quite lukewarm and may be good for soaking for a long time. The right one is a bit hotter and also has a cold bath, which I really appreciated! Since Kinosaki’s public baths don’t have cold baths, this was especially welcome for me. The water also pours like a waterfall from a lion-shaped spout (maybe), so you can let it hit your stiff shoulders like a water massage. For parking, the Ryokan’s information points to nearby paid parking lots, but there is also a municipal lot very close by that is cheaper at JPY 1,000 for 12 hours. However, when we arrived there was a waitlist line up, so we used “Kinosaki Motor Pool” listed in their guidance (JPY 1,700). The municipal lot is cheaper and allows longer stays, but if you take your car out during your stay you’ll be charged again each time—so if you plan to drive out for shopping or similar errands, Kinosaki Motor Pool may be more convenient. The young proprietress was very friendly and charming (according to my wife), and we enjoyed chatting with her. One small disappointment was that the air conditioner in our Room didn’t seem well cleaned—the airflow smelled slightly musty and there was visible dirt around the vent. A different Accommodation we stayed at last year had a dirty air conditioner too; maybe places where each Room has its own unit tend to struggle with keeping up with cleaning? Also, I didn’t notice while we were using toilets at the public baths during our outings—but when I used our toilet the next morning, the washlet function wasn’t working properly. Overall we were very satisfied, and we’d like to stay here again when we visit Kinosaki next time.

The shop had a wide selection of used books, from 100 yen to brand-new titles. I bought a 200-yen “secret book”—a wrapped book with only a brief description attached, so you can’t see what’s inside. Choosing that way was fun because I discovered a book I wouldn’t normally pick up. The Accommodation’s location was also great.

The room was very clean and provided a comfortable stay. The meal was a crab course, and there was more crab than expected, which made it very satisfying. It was an experience worth more than the price. We also received a pass for visiting public baths, allowing us to enjoy them even after checkout. I would love to stay here again.

I stayed here on the first day of a three-day holiday weekend to fully enjoy Kasumi crab, which was the highlight of this trip. I booked the full-course meal featuring extra-large Kasumi crab (top-grade “Bangani” class). From crab sashimi, boiled crab, grilled crab, shell miso grilling, tempura, crab shabu-shabu, to a crab hot pot, I was able to savor Kasumi crab in many different styles. What impressed me most were the crab sashimi and the shabu-shabu—both were equally delicious. I was also very satisfied with the service, such as having the grilled crab prepared right in front of me. The portion size was just right. For the final rice porridge (zosui), I added some reserved crab meat and enjoyed it until the very end. The drinks—especially sake—were reasonably priced as well, which I appreciated. For bathing, I reserved a private semi-open-air bath. It cost about JPY 2,000 for 45 minutes. There were two types—a hinoki (cypress) bath and a tiled bath—and even the water temperature differed between them. I was very pleased with both. In terms of facilities, there is no refrigerator in the room and you need to borrow a hair dryer from reception. Some guests may find this slightly inconvenient. However, all staff were welcoming from check-in onward, and I had a comfortable stay overall. Even though it was during a busy holiday weekend, considering the quality and volume of the meals along with the baths and hospitality, it felt like an excellent value. I’m grateful that I could truly enjoy delicious Kasumi crab while having such a pleasant stay. This is an inn I would definitely like to visit again. Thank you very much.

After watching a baseball game, we extended our trip to enjoy Kinosaki Onsen and the Amarube Bridge sightseeing. Since my friend and I both love crab, we stayed with the Kasumi Crab course at this accommodation. When I informed them in advance by phone that my friend had difficulty walking, they kindly prepared a barrier-free room for us. The food was delicious. They also arranged a taxi for us, and the staff serving meals were very attentive. The onsen was excellent as well. Although I was initially worried due to some negative reviews, we had a pleasant stay overall. The area in front of the ryokan was quiet enough to relax comfortably.
