In mid-May, the three of us—my mother in her late 80s and my husband and I—stayed here. Throughout our stay, the staff, including the proprietress, showed thoughtful care for my elderly mother, and we are truly grateful. The cuisine made the most of fresh seafood from Ise Bay, Matsusaka beef, and seasonal vegetables from Mie Prefecture. Each dish was carefully crafted and delicious; even my mother, who usually eats little, enjoyed her meals. The bath overlooking the beautifully maintained Japanese garden featured a gentle Onsen that felt kind to the skin, and we were able to relax and enjoy it many times during our stay. We stayed in “Tochi,” and were able to spend a comfortable time at ease in a Room richly finished with wood and on an open veranda. The Japanese garden was stunning; there were many hydrangea buds during our visit, and imagining how beautiful they would be in bloom made it all the more disappointing to leave without seeing them—but it was still an outstanding trip.

This trip was mainly to visit Ise Grand Shrine, Toba, and Futamiura. I was especially looking forward to visiting Futami Okitama Shrine and seeing the Meoto Iwa (Wedded Rocks), so I searched for the Accommodation closest to the shrine and chose “Oishiya.” From the very beginning, I was impressed by the exceptionally courteous and pleasant service. From arriving by taxi through check-in, being shown to my Room, dining, and even the Shuttle Service to the station after check-out, everything was handled in such a welcoming way that it made for a truly wonderful trip. To the proprietress, manager, attendants, Shuttle Service driver, and everyone at Oishiya, thank you very much. Dinner was a charcoal-grilled seafood kaiseki course. Starting with appetizers and sashimi, the main dishes featured an abundant selection including abalone, squid, turban shell, other shellfish, and vegetables. Being able to enjoy abalone both grilled and as sashimi made it an especially luxurious meal. The meal was so plentiful that I’m sorry I ended up leaving one dish unfinished. I also appreciate the attendant’s thoughtful consideration regarding dessert. The view of Futami’s sea from the panoramic bath was exceptional—I enjoyed it many times: before dinner, after dinner, and early in the morning. The location of this Accommodation is also perfect for accessing Futami Okitama Shrine. After check-in, after dinner, at sunrise time, and after check-out, I was able to visit a total of four times—it meant so much to me. Every view was wonderful, but the scenery at sunrise was truly unforgettable. Staying at “Oishiya” made this an outstanding trip. If I have another opportunity, I would love to stay again. I chose this place to treat my mother to the Summit Dinner Course for her birthday. Everything was outstanding—the beautiful presentation and the taste! The view from the Room on the 3rd floor and from the bath was also wonderful. Since we had an elderly family member with us, we really appreciated the thoughtful touches, such as a non-slip mat in the tub and a chair. We were extremely satisfied, and our whole family had a truly happy time. Thank you so much!

I stayed at the Hotel for the first time in over 30 years—a place my family visited almost every year from my teens through my thirties. While it has retained its classic charm, I could also feel how it has evolved with the times, making for a wonderful experience. As I headed home, I found myself reminiscing about old memories and hoping to create new ones from this year onward. Thank you very much.

I stayed for one night on March 29. I chose March because it was just before the spiny lobster fishing ban. This time I booked a luxurious spa Plan, so it was pricey, but it was absolutely worth the cost. The cuisine, spa, Onsen, Room Facilities, and service were all top-tier. As expected from HIRAMATSU, every dish was delicious. The dish made with the spiny lobster head felt a bit heavy for me, but everything else was perfect. The spiny lobster bisque at breakfast was outstanding. The bread and butter at both dinner and breakfast were also excellent. The spa was wonderful—comparable to the Mandarin Hotel’s spa. The Onsen and Room Facilities were also superb; there is nothing to complain about. Service from the manager, head chef, staff, and spa team was flawless. I’d like to return next year during abalone season. I recommend avoiding weekends at the end of March. That’s when F1 Japanese Grand Prix qualifying and the race are held at Suzuka, so Nagoya Station gets extremely crowded and nearby roads are heavily congested. On top of that, Ise Jingu Naiku Shrine was also packed due to a yokozuna dedication sumo event—but I consider it a good experience overall.

We stayed as a family of three. We had an elderly family member with us, and we sincerely appreciate the staff’s thoughtful care. The meals were delicious, just as other Reviews mentioned, and even my mother—whose appetite has decreased—was able to take her time and finish almost everything. The bath, including the handrails by the tub, was easy for an elderly person to use. When we visit Ise again, we would love to stay here.

It had been a long time since I last had the chance to visit Europe, but at Shima Mediterranean Village I was able to experience those nostalgic streetscapes again after so many years. Combined with the beautiful coastline of the Shima Peninsula, it made for a wonderfully relaxing stay, and I truly felt glad that we chose this Hotel. Meals were served buffet-style, and both breakfast and dinner were of a very high standard—I was extremely satisfied. I could also sense the passion and attention to detail of everyone involved in preparing the dishes, which left a strong impression. As we stayed with our pet dog, I had some concerns about our dog’s toilet needs and asked for advice. Thank you very much for your courteous support, including sending photos to help us. I would also like to express my sincere gratitude for your consideration regarding changing breakfast (especially the female staff member at reception). Thanks to your help, we were able to stay with peace of mind together with our dog and enjoy a wonderful time. If we have another opportunity, we would love to visit again.

I travel to Ise-Shima at least once a year. Each time, I look for an Accommodation with a private open-air Onsen bath in the Room. This stay at Haifu was truly wonderful—one of the best I’ve experienced. This time, we stayed in a special suite. First of all, taking a boat to reach the Accommodation really heightened the sense of being on a trip, and I couldn’t stop feeling excited. The Accommodation was beautiful and kept very clean, and the staff were excellent. The Room had an open-air bath with an ocean view. There is also frosted sliding glass that can be used as a privacy screen from outside. Soaking in the Onsen while watching the full moon and stars and listening to the sound of the sea was incredible. We were also able to enjoy our meals slowly in a private dining room. Both the taste and presentation were top-class. Haifu is an Accommodation you’ll definitely want to return to. I hope to stay again soon, and I look forward to visiting again then.

This was our first visit. I saw my mother, who usually never asks for seconds, get another serving of rice for the first time. The food was truly delicious. Not only the cuisine, but also the heartfelt service made us very happy, and we were able to spend a wonderful time. My mother immediately started planning our next trip, saying, “Next time I want to bring the whole family.” We visit Ise Grand Shrine every year, so we would love to stay with you again next year. It was a wonderful experience. Thank you to all the Hotel staff. I was worried about the weather, but we were able to enjoy stargazing as planned. They also adjusted the dinner time, and we were able to relax and fully enjoy everything at a leisurely pace—truly Aman quality. The Japanese-inspired cuisine was, of course, delicious. Even the great-tasting coffee showed how much attention is paid to every detail. Above all, the hospitality of every staff member supported and elevated our stay into something truly memorable. We stopped by the thermal spring around checkout time, but the sidewalk had become so hot in the sun that it was impossible to walk on. This is definitely something to visit after late afternoon. Next time, I’ll enjoy it with a Multiple Night Stay. Personally, I love Hawaii, and there’s nothing better than having a beer alone on the balcony at dawn—but drinking coffee while looking out over Ago Bay from my Room at Amanemu surpassed even that. I’ll be back.

We stayed for two nights. There were four adults in one Room (Garden Twin), but even with four beds it didn’t feel cramped, and we were able to relax comfortably. Since it was a family trip, the spacious open closet was also great for preventing forgotten items. Each bed had its own power outlets, which was extremely convenient. We expected a garden-side Room, but we could also see the ocean from the balcony, which was wonderful. I also personally liked that you can choose only the services you need at check-in. Since I usually carry a water bottle, I really appreciated the water dispenser service available in the Hotel. We were able to enjoy plenty of delicious water. It would have been nice if the provided pitcher were a bit larger, but there were two so it wasn’t inconvenient. They were acrylic, so there was no worry about breaking when carrying them around, and they looked stylish as well. It was also fun to boil water in the cute De’Longhi thermos kettle and enjoy tea. As is common at many Resort Hotels these days, the pajamas here were very comfortable and helped me sleep soundly. A small detail, but both the Room trash bin and the bathroom trash bin had liners properly fitted, which made them easy to use. Breakfast around 8:00 was slightly crowded and there was some waiting time, but once we were seated we could relax at ease. We chose Western-style breakfast on day one and Japanese-style on day two; both were delicious and very filling. For dinner we chose BBQ, and on the second night they changed up the ingredients so we could enjoy something different. The carefully selected seafood and meat were all delicious, and there was more than enough food including rice and dessert. On the second night it felt like we had a private setting, and we truly appreciated all of the staff’s help. There is also a large public bath; it wasn’t an Onsen, but it was clean and relaxing, so we were satisfied. All of the staff members were pleasant as well—they spoke to us thoughtfully when needed without being intrusive—so we had a very comfortable stay. The Facility offerings and services felt just right—not too much or too little—and it felt like a Hotel where you can relax at your own pace. It rained on our first day, but early on our second morning there was sunshower weather and we got to see a rainbow. We’d love to come back in another season to enjoy both morning and evening ocean views again.

It was a wonderful stay. It was a hot day, but we had fun exploring by cart even though we were sweating a lot. After that, we used the Onsen in the Hotel building. There were two types of baths, and we really enjoyed both the milky-white water and the other bath as well. The complimentary drinks after the Onsen were also delicious, which made us very happy. Dinner BBQ was tough because, as expected, there were lots of insects drawn to the lights and it was very hot. We cooked outside but ate indoors, which still felt like quite a challenge. However, the food quality and portion size were excellent! I would love it if you could consider offering catering dinner options other than BBQ. Breakfast was beautifully presented, and we enjoyed it both visually and taste-wise. The Room was well stocked with various insect sprays and repellents for bug prevention. The bath area, sink area, and toilet were all spacious and easy to use. Because the sofa is so large, it made the Room feel smaller—so I wondered if it might be unnecessary. That said, it is helpful when four people are staying together. It was a pleasant surprise that a bag with dog treats and dog supplies was provided and could be taken home. It has been extremely useful as our walking bag. With such a large garden and wide wooden deck, it was hard to relax outside during the hot season, so I’d like to visit again in a different season.

I made a Reservation to unwind before the Obon holidays. I enjoyed a luxurious, unhurried stay—soaking in the in-room Onsen and doing nothing while gazing out at the forest. I’d love to visit again in another season.

The Room was spacious and clean, and I was very satisfied, but I would have liked a wash basin in the in-room bath. The Hotel was so large that it felt like a maze—maybe that’s just because of my age. It was very convenient for visiting Shima Spain Village Park. Breakfast offered a great selection of both Western and Japanese dishes. This year, I also enjoyed the Himawari Bath. I’d like to visit again next year.

This year, my wife invited me, and we stayed here for a birthday trip for our son and me. Compared to a year ago, there were more international staff members, and we could really feel how hard everyone was working. This year again we chose the [Premium] Chef’s Selection featuring spiny lobster, abalone, and Matsusaka beef. The sashimi was exceptionally fresh and delicious—we were very satisfied—and the other dishes were also creative and tasty. The Room was a Shiracho-kan Japanese-Western style room; it was easy to use, well cleaned, and very comfortable. The Onsen temperature suited my preference perfectly, and since it was Friday there seemed to be fewer guests, so I could enjoy it almost all to myself, which felt wonderful. We are satisfied every year, but this time two things stood out: the Matsusaka beef shabu-shabu didn’t have the same impressive flavor as usual, and the toilet (washlet) in the Room felt quite old and wasn’t functioning fully. We would like to stay with you again in the coming years as well—thank you in advance. Thank you very much.

We were very satisfied last time, so we stayed again with three generations of our family. The meals were delicious, the renovated Room was clean with a great view, and we were able to relax in the Onsen and feel refreshed. All the staff were kind, and we also enjoyed bowling.

We used the round-trip shuttle bus from Kashikojima. Everyone at the front desk and in the dining area was kind, which made our stay very pleasant. There was a wide variety of dishes, and everything was delicious. In the playroom, we could enjoy board games and table tennis, so our grandchildren didn’t get bored while waiting for the return bus. Both the building and the Facility felt a bit old, but it gave us the impression that everything was thoroughly cleaned. The nearby sea at Jirokuro Coast is famous for its beautiful waters. Next time, I’d like to invite friends and enjoy a relaxing resort trip here. There were many clouds, so we couldn’t see the stars or moon clearly during nighttime stargazing. I’ll look forward to that next time as well.

We stayed here as a couple to celebrate my wife’s birthday. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious. The Onsen was wonderful. Thank you for the complimentary champagne service at dinner.

I mainly travel in the Tokai region, and I was very satisfied with both the Facility and the price.
