Everyone at the Ryokan was very attentive and provided excellent service, so I felt completely at ease during my stay. The meals were also kaiseki cuisine, and both dinner and breakfast were filling—I was very satisfied. The indoor bath also had a wonderful atmosphere and was great. I would love to visit again. From the moment we entered the entrance, the welcoming color scheme and lighting made us feel at ease. We were promptly shown to our Room, and we loved both the Room and the bath. At dinner time, what surprised us even more was that the head chef personally visited each table to greet guests, explain the dishes, and even show us the actual ingredients—our conversation really flowed. The attention to detail in every ingredient and every dish was uncompromising, and we were truly moved again and again. Breakfast was just as carefully prepared; there were no shortcuts. The head chef personally shaved bonito flakes, and it was clear they put great effort into sourcing ingredients. We liked it so much that we made a Reservation for our next stay during this visit.

The Onsen, the food, the service, and the Room were all beyond our expectations, and we were able to truly relax. It had been a while since we stayed in a Japanese-style room; lying on the tatami and gazing at the garden, we enjoyed the luxury of doing absolutely nothing. The only disappointment was that while the private bath has a wonderful ocean view, there is an apartment building directly in front of it, and I was quite concerned that the washing area might be visible from there.

I visited for my birthday. I highly recommend coming here for any special occasion. The service is excellent.

The staff’s attentive hospitality and thoughtful care were truly wonderful, and I was able to spend a very comfortable stay from check-in to check-out. The interior of the property and the room features a calm Japanese-modern design in greige tones, with impeccable taste in decor. It was exactly my kind of style, so I found myself simply gazing around and feeling soothed. The rooftop lounge offered an abundant selection of juices, alcoholic drinks, coffee, Atami’s famous sweets, and light snacks. I couldn’t believe I could choose so freely—can I really have any of these?—and I got genuinely excited. Sipping drinks, enjoying sweets, soaking in the foot bath… it was such a luxurious time taking in the views of Atami. The staff also maintained the perfect level of attentiveness—providing towels to dry our feet and preparing drinks—so considerate in every way. I’m truly grateful. What especially impressed me was the full-course dinner. Each dish was beautifully presented—not only a feast for the eyes—but also had deep flavors with sauces crafted down to the finest detail. I was genuinely moved. Even now, looking back at my photos brings back that lingering feeling: how beautiful it was and how delicious everything tasted. Everything—the room, the meals, and the hospitality—was perfect. It was a place where I could truly refresh from the heart. I feel fully recharged; I’ll do my best day by day and hope to return again someday. Thank you very much.

It was a relief to see the people who had taken care of me before. Set on a quiet hill with great views, the staff were all cheerful and courteous, the Room was clean, the Onsen was relaxing, and the full-course meal was delicious—more than enough to be fully satisfied. Unfortunately it was raining when I left, but at checkout they lent me an umbrella and told me to take it home, which really helped. This is an Accommodation I would like to stay at again.

We stayed here to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. As soon as we drove up to the entrance, the staff—already waiting—welcomed us with amazingly smooth, attentive service. I was nervous in an unfamiliar place, but before I knew it I was in the lobby with Bach playing softly, looking out at the sea and enjoying a chilled glass of champagne, my excitement building. The space was spotless and warmly appointed, and the selection of sweets, drinks, and amenities showed impeccable taste. The toothbrush was the most comfortable I’ve ever used. Above all, the bath was outstanding. With the window open, listening to birdsong and gazing at the ocean—and because it’s free-flowing—I even tried skipping a rinse-off and body cream afterward, yet my skin stayed moisturized without drying out! At dusk, the view from the lounge was beautiful. The British ginger lemonade was delicious, and we’re especially grateful to the elegant and attentive female staff member who made the lounge so wonderfully comfortable—thank you as well for preparing an orange liqueur for us at the end. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent; not only did everything taste wonderful, but the ingredients and presentation were beautiful too. That said, I couldn’t stop eating bread and butter and ended up too full by the time we reached the main course! Even so, it was cooked perfectly and tasted superb—I finished it all. Next time I’ll pace myself so I can fully enjoy everything through to the main dish. The young service staff were also highly professional and impressive. Even without mentioning that it was an anniversary—and even as first-time guests simply dropping by—we received consistently thoughtful hospitality throughout. Thank you very much.

We stayed here for our wedding anniversary. The ocean was right in front of us—what a wonderful view!! The staff were all smiles and the service was excellent!! We were very satisfied with the delicious meals while enjoying the scenery. It was also great to relax on the terrace. Above all, we had been looking forward to watching the sunrise from the open-air bath in our room, and we were truly moved to see the sun rise directly over the horizon of the sea right in front of us. We had a wonderfully relaxing time. Thank you very much. We would love to stay again.

Everything was amazing. Since we traveled by train, it was close to the station, and the location was great—we didn’t get wet in the rain even without an umbrella. But enjoying the Onsen in the rain was also wonderful. Above all, the meals were delicious. I’d love to visit again on a sunny day. Thank you very much for your kind and attentive hospitality.

We stayed in the Karaku Room. As we were traveling with my elderly parents and needed some assistance, I was a little anxious before our stay. I consulted with the property in advance, and every member of staff responded warmly and attentively, allowing us to relax and truly enjoy our trip. The ocean view from our room was breathtakingly beautiful, and at night we could see countless stars—an unforgettable sight. From the proprietress’s welcome matcha tea and sweets to each staff member’s thoughtful care and kind words, we felt genuine hospitality throughout. Every dish was truly delicious, and my parents finished everything to the last bite. In addition, the manager—who is also a sommelier—carefully listened to our preferences and selected a glass that was exactly what we were looking for. It paired wonderfully with the meal and made dinner even more special. Most of all, what stays with me is my parents’ happy smiles. When traveling with elderly parents, being able to spend time with peace of mind is essential. At Karaku, we received not only that sense of comfort but also time in which our whole family could feel truly happy. Seeing my parents smile made me think from the bottom of my heart, “I’m so glad we were all able to come here together.” Beautiful scenery, delicious food, and above all, genuine warmth from people. This time spent together as a family has become an irreplaceable memory we will never forget. I am deeply grateful that I could share such a wonderful time here with my parents. It was a truly outstanding inn—one we would love to visit again. To all the staff: thank you very much for giving our family memories we will never forget.

I stayed here for the first time with my mother. The front desk had a calm atmosphere, and the cleanliness throughout the entire Facility—including our Room and the large public bath—was excellent. Above all, both dinner and breakfast were outstanding. The staff service was also flawless. My mother and I travel to many places, but this was such a wonderful Ryokan that we both agreed we would love to stay again.

Because it is located on a hill, the views are wonderful, with the sea stretching out below and Hatsushima Island floating in the distance. The view from the entrance is spectacular. This time, I chose a room with a sauna and Onsen to soothe my tired body. They provided aroma oils for the sauna so I could do löyly, and having a cold plunge bath and an infinity chair made it perfect. The shared open-air bath also had excellent water quality; I used that sauna as well, and it was available from 6:00 a.m. The meals were also very delicious, and you can tell each dish is carefully prepared. There was plenty of food, and the freshly cooked rice was great too. Unfortunately I started feeling unwell and caused trouble for the staff, but I truly appreciate how kindly they took care of me. I would like to visit again when I’m feeling better and enjoy this Accommodation even more.

I recently stayed here on a solo trip. The room had large windows that made it feel very open, with a great view, and I was able to relax in the hot spring and the private stone sauna. The welcome drinks available until 17:00 were also excellent. The meals were wonderful and let me fully enjoy local ingredients, but there was just one small disappointment: since the food was so delicious, it felt a bit unfortunate to be eating with disposable chopsticks. The staff were kind and the value for money was great, so I’d love to stay again if I have the chance!

It takes about a 20-minute walk from the station, but Atami Marine Spa, Atami Ginza, and the ferry terminal are within walking distance. The Room has a microwave and kettle, so it’s easy to buy food and eat in the Room. Free drinks were available from 5:00 PM, which was very helpful.

Stayed overnight with friends and had a very comfortable time. Everything we needed was provided, so we didn’t lack anything. The Room had a great ocean view, which was amazing. It’s about a 10-minute walk to the beach, and you can also walk from Atami Station. The Onsen and the meals were both excellent!

My 88-year-old mother, my sister and I, my daughter, and my two grandchildren (six of us across four generations) stayed at Atami Korakuen Hotel for one night and two days. Although we were a group with a wide range of ages, everyone was comfortable, and we were very satisfied with our stay. The Shuttle Service bus from Atami Station to the Hotel was extremely helpful. Our Room was an 18-tatami Japanese-style room with large windows, so we could also enjoy the beautiful nighttime view of Atami town. The breakfast and dinner buffets offered a great variety—from dishes my mother enjoys to kid-friendly options—so everyone could enjoy the meals together regardless of age. The freshly grilled dried horse mackerel was especially delicious. The large public bath was equipped with a baby bath and baby soap, so we felt at ease bathing even with our young grandchildren. We truly appreciated the thoughtful attention to detail. When we asked the front desk to arrange a taxi for getting around, they responded quickly, which helped us a lot. This is a Hotel I can wholeheartedly recommend to families traveling with babies or elderly relatives. We would love to stay again as a family. Thank you for the wonderful memories.

The renovated Onsen had a wonderful view, and I was able to relax. The dining area also had spacious seating, so it wasn’t crowded and I could enjoy the meal comfortably. However, the light snacks in the lobby were chaotic, with no seats available and a line for check-in, which felt tiring right after arriving. It would be nice if it were more spacious, but I suppose that may not be possible...

The welcome wine was delicious. Dinner was great—the main chicken dish was tasty, and I was full with the salad and other items; the dessert pudding was absolutely amazing. Breakfast also had a good selection including salads, and the bread was delicious. The bath facilities were very comfortable: I could use the hot stone sauna many times, and the indoor bath was at a perfect temperature for relaxing. The Room was small but functional and easy to use. All of the staff were kind and pleasant. I had a wonderful time.

It seems to have just opened this summer, and I found it while looking for a place to stay in Atami. Since it was right after opening, everything was very clean. You can also enjoy drinks in the lounge. The overall style is Japanese, but the rooms are stylishly designed—tatami with beds is a great combination. The TV was large, and I was surprised by how many of the amenities felt high-end. The best part was the bath. It’s a semi-open-air bath, but it’s impressively spacious for an in-room bath, and the water circulates so you can soak anytime—absolutely wonderful. Since we were in Atami, we also tried the large public bath on the first floor. That was spacious as well, and the open-air rock bath was great too. After relaxing in the baths, we had dinner. The dining area is on B1, and it’s incredibly stylish—more like a chic dining spot you’d find in central Tokyo. There were quite a few international staff members (probably because of the area). They were a bit awkward at times, but everyone worked hard and left a good impression—it made me want to support them going forward. The food was excellent as well—perhaps creative kaiseki—and you could really feel their attention to detail. Everything tasted outstanding. Atami can be crowded with young people around the station and downtown areas, but this place felt calm and elegant—a space where you can truly relax at your own pace. I visit Atami often, and this is definitely an inn I’d love to return to again.
