We stayed at Kamogawa 919, a traditional house sauna Accommodation, as a group with friends. First of all, the atmosphere was stylish and welcoming. While preserving the charm of an old traditional home, it was also very clean and comfortable. The sauna we had been looking forward to was an authentic wood-fired sauna—something you rarely get to experience in central Tokyo. The gentle, enveloping heat unique to firewood felt wonderful, and being able to enjoy löyly ourselves was another highlight. After working up a good sweat, we relaxed outdoors while watching the beautiful sunset from the veranda. Listening to birdsong and feeling the natural breeze as we unwound was pure bliss—it instantly melted away everyday fatigue. In the evening, we cooked together using fresh local ingredients we had bought nearby and enjoyed a laid-back time with drinks in hand. Spending time chatting with like-minded friends was truly special—a luxurious experience you can’t easily find in the city. Surrounded by nature, we were able to fully enjoy the sauna, meals, and time with friends. It was an outstanding Accommodation that refreshed both body and mind. We’d love to stay again.

My family visiting from overseas stayed here. As soon as they arrived at Tenku, they were impressed by the beautiful views, and they were also happy that the outdoor bath has a water heater, making it easy to use. Although the building isn’t very large, they were impressed by how comfortable and well designed it is. However, the bathroom felt quite small. They were surprised by the small bathroom, but throughout their stay they kept saying, “We want to come again.”

The Room and Facility were absolutely satisfying! Everything is well-maintained, reflecting the owner's heartfelt care. A spacious dog run spreads out in front, offering a great sense of openness—our dog loved it! Seasonings and cooking utensils are fully equipped, so you can come empty-handed. You can also enjoy BBQs or the pool in the garden! The appliances are stylish, and both the bathroom and toilet are exceptionally clean! It’s easily accessible from the city center, with nearby home improvement stores and large shopping facilities adding to its convenience. Overall, it’s truly a wonderful cottage that I would love to use again!

We stayed for one night on the last day of Silver Week with our dog. Since it was after a typhoon, the rain came and went, and some roads were closed along the way, but we managed to arrive. We were satisfied because we could enjoy a barbecue and let our dog play in the dog run. Since it was our first visit, we chose a plan with meals included. Dinner had plenty of meat and vegetables. The morning bagels were also delicious. The Room was very clean. The amenities (including for dogs) were well stocked. Our only regret is that we should have brought a cushion for our dog... Check-in and check-out were easy. There’s a convenience store very close by, so shopping is simple too. We’d love to visit again when the weather is nice.

We were looking for accommodation for our family of five and one dog, and we found this place. Since we live in an area without the sea, both our family and dog were thrilled with the ocean right in front of us. The absence of a TV actually increased family conversations, and we felt closer through activities like Othello, card games, soccer, and badminton. The manager was very kind and attentive, and we would love to visit again. Thank you very much!

The convenience and well-equipped facilities, especially the inclusion of a washing machine, were greatly appreciated and brought genuine joy to my wife. I stayed for one night with No Meals Included during the January holiday. The pension is located in a scenic area, and the interior has a bright atmosphere with sunlight streaming in. The room was spacious, and I spent a relaxing time watching the Izu Islands up close and the setting sun from the window. Since it is a little off the main road, the sound of passing cars is distant, allowing for a quiet time. Although there is a bath in the room, this time I enjoyed the soft water of the handmade open-air bath in a corner of the large garden while gazing at the sky. This time, I was also looking forward to dinner at a nearby sushi restaurant known for its delicious local fish, and I was provided with Shuttle Service from the pension, allowing me to enjoy local sake without worry, making it a great holiday. Thanks to the hospitality of the lovely madam and the friendly owner of the pension, I had a wonderful holiday. It is a property I would like to visit again.

I found this property while looking for a Room close to the ocean with an ocean view from the Room. The view, spaciousness, and cleanliness were all wonderful, and we also got to enjoy BBQ and the sauna—it was an amazing stay. Since I had mentioned in advance that we were staying for my girlfriend’s birthday, they arranged balloons for us on the day, and even prepared a bottle of white wine. She was truly delighted. The BBQ portion was far more than you’d expect for two people—we were completely satisfied. Both the vegetables and meat were delicious. There were also yakisoba noodles and marshmallows. It was great that we could use the hot plate outside as well. Since it was summer there were quite a few insects, but insect spray and repellent were provided, which we really appreciated. For the sauna, we could set the temperature ourselves, and we could also prepare a cold plunge bath right in front of it—so refreshing. Having men’s shorts and a women’s gown available was very helpful too. The self löyly was incredible. The Room felt open and airy with a perfect view, and the cohesive style—from the furniture to the wall art—was lovely. You can see the ocean from both the bath and the Room. You can see stars as well. It was so comfortable that it made me want to live here. That said, perhaps because pets are allowed, there were one or two spots where I noticed a slight odor. Checkout is at 11:00, which gave us plenty of time in the morning—we enjoyed our stay comfortably until the very end. Check-in is at 15:00; if it were possible to arrive a bit earlier it would be absolutely perfect (though I understand cleaning needs to be done). We stayed as a couple this time, but I think it would be great for larger groups too. We will definitely stay again—thank you very much.

The hospitality was exceptional. The warm personalities of the owner couple made this accommodation incredibly comfortable. Of course, the food was delicious, especially the seafood personally caught by the owner, which was unmatched in freshness. One thing I thought would be nice to have is a laundry basket under the sink. I am very grateful for their kindness.

I stayed here for one night during a touring trip. It doesn’t have Hotel-style facilities, but it was clean, spacious, and comfortable. I could park my large motorcycle right near the door, making it easy to carry my luggage. The Room is separated into a living area (with a large TV) and a bedroom—far more space than I needed for a solo stay. There’s only a shower (no bathtub), but there’s an Onsen day-use bath just a 1-minute walk away. (I just used the shower; bring your own towel!) The sunset over the sea right in front was incredibly beautiful, and I could even see Mt. Fuji. At the izakaya on the same property, I enjoyed drinks and dinner at the counter while chatting with the owner about sake—an excellent time all around. I was surprised to have such a comfortable stay for about half the price of a basic Business Hotel. There’s also a convenience store about a 5–6 minute walk away. This is an Accommodation I’d definitely like to visit again.

There were several flies in the Room, and the shower drainage was slow, which was a bit concerning. It would have been better if insect repellent was placed in an easily noticeable spot! The atmosphere and location were excellent. Sunset Beach was breathtaking. The terrace bathtub kept the kids entertained, while adults could enjoy a relaxing BBQ. The large BBQ grill was very convenient. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

I had such a pleasant stay that I've decided to make it my regular accommodation whenever I come to this area! The place was clean and tidy, the room felt very spacious, the attention to detail was wonderful, and my child had a great time. The meals were delicious with plenty of fish and generous portions. For young children, the beach right in front and the park with playground equipment were very exciting. I want to visit again during the summer vacation.

We visited as a group of six: a family of four with two brothers (an older brother in kindergarten and a younger brother who will soon turn 2), plus grandpa and grandma. Our younger child is at an age where he can’t sit still, so even eating out is usually a bit challenging. That’s why we chose this Accommodation, where we could relax without worrying about others. It turned out to be truly wonderful. At a regular park you have to constantly worry about kids running off, but here the area is enclosed, which was such a relief! Some of the play equipment was still a bit advanced for our 1-year-old, but there was also a swing and plenty of outdoor toys, so I think he had an amazing time. They also had various toys prepared indoors, so we didn’t have any “I don’t want to go inside!!” tantrums either. We were grateful they even provided bath bombs! Our kids were thrilled with Thomas toys, drawing on the windows, and the night lights too. Our plan was to arrive around noon to play outside and then start BBQ when check-in time came—but around noon it was still drizzling. After seeing the yard, the kids went straight into “we want to play anyway” mode and played while getting a little wet. When the rain got heavier partway through, we headed to a nearby supermarket for a while. By the way, bringing sneakers, sandals, and rain boots for this trip turned out to be the right choice! On our stay date it stopped raining during BBQ time so it worked out fine, but we did find ourselves wishing there were more cover extending over where the tables are set up. Of course there’s some effort involved in preparing most things ourselves, but having energetic kids and not needing to worry about other guests’ eyes made it genuinely stress-free. This was the most relaxing and enjoyable trip with children we’ve ever had!

I stayed in a mixed dormitory Room with bunk beds. In addition to the front lobby, there were other spaces where I could relax, and every interior had a stylish atmosphere—staying only one night felt like a waste. Thanks to that, I was able to see Mt. Fuji at sunset. The staff—a kind handsome man and a cute woman—were very attentive, and it was an Accommodation where I felt safe even as a solo traveler. Thank you very much. If I may be greedy, it would be nice to have an electric fan in the shared washbasin area outside the shower room—just my personal thought. Overall, I was very satisfied with this Accommodation.

We stayed for two nights during summer vacation as a family of four. The Room is incredibly stylish, and every angle looks picture-perfect. You can really feel the attention to detail in the wonderful furniture throughout. The kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, and toilet were all spotless. Even the faucets are unbelievably stylish. The lawn in the garden was well maintained and pleasantly soft. There are hedges, so privacy is mostly ensured. A single corridor runs from one end to the other along the garden side of the building, and it was so atmospheric that it really lifted our spirits. It was a Room that made us want to live here forever. We can’t thank the owner enough. Thank you for an amazing two-night stay.

A single-story vacation rental located close to Hojo Beach, just a block away from Seven-Eleven. The Facility is clean, and the staff were kind and very helpful. Toiletries like toothbrushes and bath towels are well-provided, making it comparable to a Hotel—only missing items are yukata or pajamas. Meals are not included, but for our family who loves exploring local restaurants during trips, this was no issue at all. In one word: Perfect! If I may add a suggestion—it would be amazing if the air conditioner could be cleaned before summer (haha).

A wonderful space where I could experience an extraordinary time. Upon entering the Room, I was greeted by a pleasant fruity scent. It was a lovely Room, clean and decorated with stylish accessories. I was feeling a bit peckish, so having cute donuts prepared was a thoughtful touch. In the evening, I enjoyed a barbecue using the barbecue kit set up on the outdoor balcony, with seafood I bought as the main dish! The view of the sea from the balcony was absolutely stunning, and I was able to spend a relaxing time watching the sunset. I definitely want to use it again!

Our family of five stayed here. We had been looking forward to it after seeing the photos at the time of Reservation, and when we arrived, the villa was even more wonderful than we imagined—we were truly delighted. It was very spacious and spotless, and our whole family was able to relax comfortably. We enjoyed watching the sunset while playing in the pool, and at night we took in countless stars and a beautiful night view—an unforgettable escape from everyday life. The kitchenware and cooking utensils were well stocked, and having both a washing machine and dryer was extremely convenient. We hardly felt any inconvenience during our stay. Everyone in our family liked it so much that we kept saying, “Let’s come back again next year,” making this a trip to remember. It was such a lovely villa that we would definitely like to stay again. We were a little anxious because there were no Reviews, but we received a very courteous email from the owner. They continued to respond sincerely, doing their best to accommodate our requests, which made us feel very reassured. We stayed as three generations of a family. Since we had small children, they prepared a baby crib and baby bath for us, and also provided a guard to block off an open section of the stair handrail—something we truly appreciated. There are seven bedrooms, so everyone was able to maintain their own private space. The bedding and Facilities were new and kept very clean. The only disappointing point was that the showers in each Room had a slight sewer smell. The view from the terrace was beautiful! We would love to stay here again when visiting Futtsu.
