The food, the massage treatment, the Onsen, the clean Room, and the warm hospitality of the owner and his wife—everything was outstanding, and we were completely satisfied. I’ve had massages near my workplace before, but a professional treatment and technique are on a completely different level. Thank you very much. We will definitely come again.

This was our second stay. Since our third son (our beloved dog) joined our family five years ago, we only choose Accommodations where we can stay together, so we’ve stayed at many pet-friendly places around the Kanto area. With new Accommodations opening all the time, there are only a few we’ve ever revisited—but this one is exceptionally satisfying, so we returned during the Obon holiday period. With pet-friendly Accommodations, there’s often something you have to compromise on, but this place is almost perfect. The balcony of our guest Room had an open-air Onsen bath, a sauna, a cold plunge bath, and a relaxation area with a shower—plus an open-air bath for dogs. Inside the Room, there was a theater room with two massage chairs and a dining room where you can enjoy meals in your Room. The French cuisine served there is truly delicious. Recently, more and more Accommodations have excellent Facilities, but I don’t know any other place where you can enjoy food of this quality in your Room with your dog. Once again, everything was absolutely delicious. If you’re looking for the best Accommodation to stay with your dog, I highly recommend giving this place a try.

We were completely satisfied with both the Room and the meals. The meal for our dog was also a feast, making this a truly happy trip. We would definitely love to stay again.

Once again, our stay at Futari Komorebi was filled with joy. Over these two days, we were reminded how wonderful and comforting it is that the most important things never change. Since we don’t do sightseeing, we focus on meals and the Onsen and look for an Accommodation where we can relax in our Room—this place is perfect! Above all, the food is delicious, the Onsen feels wonderful, and we can spend time at ease in a simple yet spotlessly cleaned Room. The Wi‑Fi connects smoothly as well, so it’s completely stress-free. With each dish, we enjoyed imagining how it was prepared while looking at the menu, and once again our hearts were full—it was pure happiness. Not only is the cooking excellent, but the couple’s calm and gentle atmosphere is so comforting that this has become our favorite Accommodation. We’ll be back in a different season—thank you in advance.

The “Small-portion Gourmet Kaiseki” was just the right amount for seniors, and over our two-night stay the dinner was excellent in terms of ingredients, preparation, and seasoning. The breakfast also offered a variety of small dishes, and we were very satisfied from the morning with both dried fish and sashimi. The Onsen, Facility, and Room were clean and well maintained, and the staff were extremely attentive throughout our two-night stay. True to its name, it provided a five-star experience and made our trip to Izu a wonderful one.

We’re repeat guests for the cats, delicious food, and the cozy comfort of having everything you need right in the Room. This time my husband came with us too. The kids were thrilled with the maisonette and the open-air bath. We also love the skincare amenities such as lotion—they’re from a brand we like. We were so happy to finally spend time with the cats again. Since this was our first summer stay, we were told, “You might find stag beetles on the balcony,” and there were so many (surprisingly)! We took some home and are taking good care of them. Thank you for all your thoughtful consideration. Dinner was served at perfect timing—hot dishes hot and cold dishes cold—and my husband really enjoyed how delicious everything was. For breakfast we chose Japanese this time; the clay-pot rice selected by a rice meister was outstanding. Our child asked for seconds again and again. Everything was perfect except that the children’s pajamas we borrowed felt smaller than expected for their size. Thank you as always for your warm welcome—it made for an amazing start to our summer vacation. We’d love to come back again.

A relaxing, tranquil Accommodation for adults. Watch the ever-changing sky, sea, and forest, and the sparkling stars; soak in the Onsen whenever you like; and enjoy high-quality meals... Above all, the staff’s hospitality is outstanding. During my stay, they never once asked for my name or Room number, and they even adjusted the end time of dinner to fit my spa Reservation. Thanks to their seamless communication and thoughtful care, I felt completely at ease throughout my stay. I will be back again. Thank you very much.

This visit back to the Accommodation was a firm promise we made with M-chan and N-chan’s family, whom we met here two years ago in August. That day, we played together at the dog run, shared dinner, and spent bar time talking about many things—it was a once-in-a-lifetime encounter during our stay. I still remember how incredibly fun it was. At the time, our M was still an only dog, but meeting M-chan and N-chan—who became friends with us—created an irreplaceable and wonderful bond. We were also truly happy to become friends with their dad and mom as well. At checkout, we made a strong promise: “Let’s all meet again here at this Accommodation someday, healthy and well!” But soon after that, we were shocked to receive the sudden news of M-chan’s passing. Her mom told us that she crossed the Rainbow Bridge in March. We were heartbroken that we could no longer reunite with everyone in good health as we had promised. Still, because this Accommodation was a place M-chan loved so very much, we wanted to honor her here—and so all of us were able to meet again. Together—with their dad and mom; M-chan and N-chan; our MM sisters; and us—we came back to the Accommodation saying “We’re home!” The staff welcomed us warmly with gentle smiles saying “Welcome back,” and M-chan and N-chan—and our MM sisters—were absolutely delighted. For dinner, they seated us next to each other, and it became a joyful dinner time as we talked together while remembering M-chan. At bar time as well, we shared many memories with their dad and mom and talked about what lies ahead; it was a warm, gentle time that passed slowly. We also had breakfast together afterward, then played at the dog run right up until the last minute—sharing truly priceless moments. We believe none of this would have been possible without the kindness and support of all the staff. We are filled with gratitude for watching over our stay until the very end with such warmth. This Accommodation truly brings people together! And it is a one-of-a-kind place—wonderful, beautiful, something you can be proud of—that helps fulfill promises made between beloved dogs! We stayed here for our wedding anniversary and a babymoon trip. In short, choosing this Accommodation was absolutely the right decision! This time we used the maternity Plan. Since there are very few Accommodations that offer a maternity Plan, the moment I saw the Plan name I thought, “This is it!” and made a Reservation. When we arrived, the staff welcomed us, carried our luggage from the parking lot, and even provided welcome drinks and a thorough explanation—right from the start, their attentiveness was flawless. With only seven Rooms, the property was wonderfully quiet, and everything felt unhurried. The all-inclusive setup—being able to enjoy drinks and light snacks whenever we wanted—was fantastic. During bar time, my wife was thrilled to have non-caffeinated options and non-alcoholic cocktails as well. She even said, “Next time I can drink alcohol again, I definitely want to come back!” (laughs) Our Room was a stylish maisonette with a chic black theme. The open-air bath viewed through the large window—and the forest scenery beyond—was beautiful. We were truly grateful for all the thoughtful touches for my pregnant wife: a large maternity cushion on her bed, extra cushions prepared for her chair at meals, and more. Breakfast and dinner were satisfying beyond what you’d expect at an upscale restaurant. They confirmed in advance what my wife couldn’t eat and adjusted each dish accordingly. It was also fun hearing how it differed from the standard menu. When we mentioned it was our anniversary, they even prepared a lovely fruit platter with dessert at dinner—we were both genuinely moved. We skipped using the in-room open-air bath this time because there were many insects outside, but we thoroughly enjoyed the private bath whenever we liked. The lounge also felt incredibly open thanks to its high ceiling and large windows that let us take in nature. During bar time after dinner, when Häagen-Dazs vanilla ice cream was sold out, one of the staff kindly brought an alternative for us! We expected it would simply end with “Sorry, it’s sold out,” so we were touched by how far they went for us. And after checkout as we drove away by car، staff came outside waving goodbye with their arms raised—it was such wonderful hospitality that made us think، “We’ll definitely come back!” Thank you for such an amazing stay from start to finish! It became our best anniversary and babymoon ever۔ We’ll absolutely return once my wife can enjoy alcohol again!

Perched on a hill near Kawana Station, this Accommodation has a wonderful sense of charm. Even though it is upscale, the attendants were warm and approachable, making our stay truly comfortable. The Onsen baths are available both indoors and outdoors, and we could enjoy them at the same time; the water quality was excellent. The kaiseki dinner was outstanding—as expected of a renowned Ryokan—and we enjoyed it so much that we even had the late-night snack. The peaceful atmosphere, with occasional birdsong, was so soothing that we didn’t want to leave. We will definitely return.

Each Room comes with a private open-air bath, and meals can be served in the Room as well, so we were able to relax without worrying about others. What made us happiest was how well the Accommodation is set up for dogs! In addition to a private dog run just for our Room, there is an indoor dog run on-site, and outside the Accommodation there are two more dog runs—one with wood chips and one with grass—making four in total. We could choose where to play depending on our mood and the weather. The meals were also delicious, making great use of Izu’s fish, meat, and vegetables. There was an excellent selection of menu items for our dog as well, and they finished everything in no time. All of the staff were very dog-friendly, and it really showed how much they care about dogs. It became a wonderful memory where we could truly relax together with our dog. Thank you very much.

I was finally able to stay at Akazawa Guest House, a place I had long wanted to visit, this time together with my son and his wife. The Accommodation is beautiful from the outside, but once you step inside, you’re amazed to see platinum used throughout the walls and other details. It’s a stunning space with meticulous attention paid to every element. The pampas grass in the courtyard was especially memorable, and we were able to relax and enjoy a peaceful time away from everyday life while feeling the charm of the season. Everything—the Room, the meals, and the atmosphere throughout the property—was wonderful, of course. But what stayed with me most was the warm hospitality of all the staff. My daughter-in-law is pregnant, and they kindly accommodated our requests in advance with great care. They prepared extra pillows in our Room and thoughtfully adjusted aspects of our meals as well, which we truly appreciated. In particular, the staff member who served our meals had such a lovely smile. Their service was both attentive and genuinely warm, which made us feel very at ease. The staff member who took photos for us also went beyond what we asked for and discreetly looked out for us so we could enjoy ourselves—an act of consideration that made us very happy. It’s certainly an exceptional space filled with luxury, but even more than that, I felt that the thoughtful and heartfelt hospitality of everyone working there makes this Accommodation even more special. I’m truly glad we were able to spend such precious family time at Akazawa Guest House. On our way home, my son and his wife said together, “Let’s come back again.” Thank you very much for giving us such a wonderful time that will stay in our hearts. We would love to visit again.

This was our first stay. From the moment we approached the Hotel, the sound of wind chimes felt wonderfully refreshing. As soon as we stepped inside, a water terrace spread out before us, and my daughter and I couldn’t help exclaiming, “So beautiful!” We stayed in a Premium Room. The Room was very clean, and my daughter was thrilled with the ReFa hair dryer and shower (lol). The in-Room Onsen is fed by a natural hot spring source, and it felt amazing—I ended up soaking twice, morning and night. Since it was to celebrate my birthday, you prepared a lovely towel-cake display and even gave us chocolates as a gift, which made this trip truly memorable. We chose a Plan with breakfast and dinner included; the dinner course was beautifully plated item by item, so we enjoyed it with our eyes as well. We were also very satisfied that drinks were available freely. In particular, the champagne we had upon arrival was incredibly delicious! This has become one of the Hotels we would definitely like to use again if we have the chance. Thank you for taking care of us for our one-night stay.

I’m sorry for the late review, but thank you very much for providing such a wonderful night. The hot spring bath in the Room was incredibly soothing, and I ended up soaking in it many times. Above all, the Accommodation’s main highlight—the meal—far exceeded my expectations in both flavor and presentation, and I was truly satisfied. Not only was everything delicious, but it was the first time I’ve ever felt that eating could be this much fun. I was genuinely moved from the bottom of my heart. Partway through the meal, my chronic condition suddenly worsened and I had to excuse myself; thank you again for kindly bringing the final dessert to my Room—I would like to express my sincere gratitude here once more. This is an Accommodation I absolutely want to return to. I’m really looking forward to the day I can visit again.

This was our seventh destination on our classic hotel tour. To be honest, among the classic hotels, we thought Kawana would be a “maybe if we can,” but we made a Reservation hoping to enjoy the pool during the Obon holidays. Now that our stay is over, it was so wonderful that we want to come to Kawana Hotel every summer. One thing we had researched in advance was the omurice said to have been eaten by Marilyn Monroe, and we knew we couldn’t miss it—so we went for lunch right after arrival. We enjoyed a relaxed meal at Sun Parlor in a beautiful setting with ocean views. We also had shaved ice at Sun Parlor. With condensed milk and honey harvested from beekeeping at Kawana, we changed the flavor ourselves with each bite and had fun tasting it different ways. Another highlight was the movie screening held in the second lobby at night. The film that day was Roman Holiday. Combined with the classic atmosphere of our Room, it felt like it created a truly special summer night. Since the pool and baths can be enjoyed even after check-out, we went back to the pool on day two as well. The natural spring water pool was very cold and refreshing; lying on a poolside bed with views of blue skies and the sea, listening to the splash of water, felt absolutely perfect. All of the staff were very kind. Compared with other classic hotels, this one felt especially welcoming, making for a stay that brought back nostalgic summer memories. We’d love to visit again next summer.

We stayed in a Room with an open-air bath. Since the Hotel is located in a villa area, it was very quiet, and we even saw squirrels in the trees outside the Room window. The front desk staff were also very kind and helpful. Although this is a Plan without meals, light snacks such as sweets and cup noodles are available next to the front desk. In the morning, bread and rice are also provided. We had a wonderful stay and would like to use this Accommodation again.

My parents, my younger brother, my child, and I stayed here using two cars this time. Since there is a drop-off parking area in front of the Hotel, it was easy to unload and check in with my child, and we could take our luggage to the Room in one trip. The parking lot was also close by, spacious, and easy to park in! The Room was clean, and my child made a beeline for the hammock chair! They enjoyed it with a big smile—and it was fun for adults to use too. My child was fascinated by the manual coffee grinder provided in the Room. They ground the beans themselves and made coffee for the whole family! My parents were delighted by coffee prepared by their grandchild. Seeing my child look so proud was adorable! We used the baths a lot (we tried all of the private baths), so being able to get drinks and replenish salt anytime was really appreciated. The meals were delicious—I ate so much I felt stuffed (lol). It was great that my child, who usually watches a lot of TV, had so much fun playing table tennis—we all enjoyed it as a family! My child got the most exercise there. We also enjoyed karaoke—there never seemed to be enough time. All of the staff were kind and attentive with their explanations and support, which made our stay very comfortable. We would love to stay again!

Our First Visit to Ubud no Mori All of the staff were incredibly kind and spoke to our dog so warmly. Thanks to them, we felt welcomed and comfortable from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious—we were more than satisfied!! We even got to enjoy the late-night soba, which made the evening even happier. Being able to relax and have such a wonderful time with our dog became a truly special memory for us. We would love to visit again! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

It was a very comfortable Accommodation with a high level of satisfaction. In particular, the hostess and staff provided service with just the right sense of distance, which made our stay truly pleasant. My father, who turns 95 this year, was also in great spirits. We will definitely visit again.
