For a Kiso-Komagatake hike. Everyone at the Hotel was kind and made us feel at home. The building and baths feel like an older Facility, but the Rooms have been renovated. We stayed in a “Japanese-style Room (10 tatami mats) with no view,” surrounded by trees, but after enjoying plenty of scenery on the hike, taking a bath, having a delicious dinner, and sleeping like a log, it didn’t matter at all. It felt like great value to relax in a clean, spacious tatami Room.
It was a standard large public bath, but the silky-smooth water was amazing.
I went in three times. I want to go again!
Onuma Lake is nearby, and the Central Alps reflected on the water are beautiful. It’s also convenient—about a 15-minute walk to Suganodai Bus Center for buses to Senjojiki.
