We stayed here a few years ago, and returned again because my husband said he “definitely wants to visit again.” The welcome sweets—warabi mochi—were so delicious that we bought some as souvenirs. The tatami flooring in the corridors and even inside the elevator felt wonderfully comfortable, and the open-air bath made us feel as if we were bathing right in a Japanese garden. Dinner was excellent; we requested a smaller portion, but it was still more than enough. The Room was spacious, and the sunken kotatsu-style table by the window was very relaxing and convenient. While many Accommodations ask guests to bring towels from their Room to the public bath, it felt great to be able to go without carrying anything. Breakfast was also delicious. We had planned to leave at a leisurely pace, but there were thunderstorms and heavy rain from midnight onward, so we ended up driving for two hours through intense rainfall. Afterward we saw news about flooding, and we are worried whether there was any damage to the Hotel or the surrounding area. We’re already talking about coming back during apple season. Thank you very much—we truly enjoyed everything.

First, the young woman who escorted us to our Room had beautiful skin, and her professional service was very soothing. The two types of Onsen were great—especially the brown one, which was pleasantly salty and exactly my kind of Onsen. Maybe it was just my imagination, but my skin felt incredibly smooth afterward. This is just my personal opinion, but if the spring source temperature is low, I might soak longer if that small bath were a warm (lukewarm) Onsen. The Room was stylish as well. There were plenty of yukata and towels, so I could use fresh towels whenever I wanted with no stress. The free drinks were also very convenient. We only had breakfast, but the rice was glossy and delicious—I’d like to visit next time with dinner included.

We stayed here as a family. Inami is known as a mecca for traditional woodcarving artisans, and this Accommodation—renovated from an old kimono shop—perfectly matches the unique atmosphere of the town. Only one group per day. As others have commented, the Room, garden, and bath were all truly impeccable. What stood out most was the chef, who also served as our concierge. He was incredibly knowledgeable and taught us so much about the ingredients, the town’s history, and more. I was deeply moved by how learning about the cuisine and ingredients while dining made the meal even more extraordinary—it reminded me that food is also an encounter in itself. Thank you very much. Hearing about their experience after the Noto earthquake was heartbreaking, but we could also feel how people in Hokuriku are moving forward with determination. We would love to stay again.

All the staff were kind and pleasant. The bath limited day-use visitors, so I could relax and enjoy it. Every meal was delicious and seasoned just the way I like. The robatayaki was perfect with drinks. The made-to-order salt-grilled ayu was outstanding, and I’m glad I ordered it. However, I was disappointed that the delicious apple juice they used to have at breakfast was no longer available. I would like to stay again in a different season.

I was looking for a room with an open-air bath through online reservations, and among the many options I reviewed, this accommodation stood out as particularly appealing. This was my first time using your service. The online reservation process was smooth. Although the front desk was closed on the day of my stay due to it being a holiday for the ryokan, prior email communication allowed me to inquire and receive polite responses. While I felt that quicker response times would have been even better, I truly appreciated the courteous support. Upon arrival at the accommodation, it exceeded my expectations based on the images I had seen. The room had already been pre-cooled with air conditioning to ensure comfort upon entry. The ambiance of the room was excellent, and attention to detail in its design stood out. The bathroom featured both a regular shower and a ceiling shower, while amenities like shampoo had pleasant fragrances. The provided loungewear for relaxing in-room had a nice texture against the skin. However, I found that using the sink area together with another person felt slightly cramped, and similarly, the toilet space felt a bit tight. The raised tatami area in our guestroom was superbly crafted. If I visit this area again or have friends looking for recommendations, I will definitely suggest this place—and would love to stay here myself once more. We stayed at TATEGU -YA for two nights. It was spacious and comfortable for two people. The renovation was wonderful, thoughtfully incorporating valuable carvings as well as pillars, doors, and glass windows originally used by the joinery shop into everyday living. Compared to our last visit (three years ago), we felt there were more younger people around town, giving it a lively atmosphere. This is an Accommodation and a town we look forward to visiting again.

I booked the Bring-Your-Own BBQ Plan. The gazebo in a separate building was already set up with a charcoal grill and other equipment, which was very convenient. We had a great time with our favorite ingredients and drinks. However, there is no dedicated lighting in the gazebo. Even with two lanterns, it was quite dark. If the cottage has an outdoor power outlet, you might be able to run an extension cord and use temporary lighting. We used Iguchi’s Yu-Yu Land Hanatsubaki for bathing, so we did not use the cottage bath. It was wonderful to spend time with friends again after a long while. I would like to stay here again.
