We stayed here as a couple in early August. The Hotel had been renovated, and it felt both new and clean while still retaining a nostalgic charm—an unusual and memorable atmosphere. The large public bath also had an authentic open-air bath, which was very relaxing, and we enjoyed the lavish breakfast as well. It was a little disappointing that the basic skincare set provided was somehow only for one person, but overall we were very satisfied with our stay.

Used this Accommodation while sightseeing around Tokachi. It is located beside Lake Kuttari at the headwaters of the Tokachi River, and with a campground nearby, the location was excellent. The Hotel felt brand-new throughout, with well-equipped Facilities, and it was a more impressive Accommodation than expected. The meals were also very delicious. The water in the open-air bath was pleasant, and it was wonderful to feel nature up close. The staff were kind as well, and I think this is an Accommodation I can recommend.

I travel to Ise-Shima at least once a year. Each time, I look for an Accommodation with a private open-air Onsen bath in the Room. This stay at Haifu was truly wonderful—one of the best I’ve experienced. This time, we stayed in a special suite. First of all, taking a boat to reach the Accommodation really heightened the sense of being on a trip, and I couldn’t stop feeling excited. The Accommodation was beautiful and kept very clean, and the staff were excellent. The Room had an open-air bath with an ocean view. There is also frosted sliding glass that can be used as a privacy screen from outside. Soaking in the Onsen while watching the full moon and stars and listening to the sound of the sea was incredible. We were also able to enjoy our meals slowly in a private dining room. Both the taste and presentation were top-class. Haifu is an Accommodation you’ll definitely want to return to. I hope to stay again soon, and I look forward to visiting again then.

The shower is high quality with three modes, and it doesn’t shut off automatically, so it’s easy to use. Sometimes soap suds splash around the washing area near the door, so it’s better to rinse the floor well before leaving. The shampoo and other amenities are also good quality. 3. At the 1st-floor restaurant, soft drinks are free-flow for many time slots. From 18:00 to 20:00, alcohol is also free-flow. It’s excellent—however, there is no beer. It’s free, which is very helpful. 4. From 21:00, ochazuke is served and can be a light dinner. It’s delicious, but limited to one bowl per person (no refills). 5. Breakfast isn’t extravagant, but it’s tasty enough and recommended. 6. The parking lot is spacious. 7 .If you ask, they will bring out a hand cart for you to borrow . 8 .The Room refrigerator is a two-door type and can freeze ice cream .It cools very well . 9 .At certain times ,there is free ice cream near the entrance of the large public bath . 10.There is a washing machine in the Room ,but no dryer function.There is a simple drying area near the window.If you check in late for one night ,your laundry may not dry by morning.I did laundry every day.Detergent is also provided . 11.There is a microwave in the Room ,which is very convenient . 12.There is a desk suitable for working . 13.The internet speed fast with no stress.You can upload large files for work without issues . 14.There drugstore and Seven-Eleven next door . 15.The sea nearby . 16.With two elevators ,the wait time short . This Hotel highly recommended. If possible ,even used books would be fine—having a small corner with comics manga)and tourist guidebooks would make it even better .

I chose this Hotel because I like the SOIL brand, and it was an even better stay than I expected! I really loved the exterior that blends into the scenery of the Nagato Yumoto area, and the interior design that seems to value natural colors. The staff kept a comfortable level of distance, and I also enjoyed dinner at the restaurant. The sauna on the top floor had just the right humidity, so it didn’t feel too intense even when staying in longer than usual despite the temperature. Relaxing while listening to higurashi cicadas may end up being this summer’s highlight!

I’d been wanting to visit for a long time, and I treated myself to a Multiple Night Stay solo to truly relax. I’m so glad I chose this place! I’ve stayed at many Hotels and Ryokans in Japan and abroad, and this has become one of my top three favorites. Everything used throughout the Hotel is carefully selected and meticulously maintained. The staff were warm and kind in such a natural way—it was genuinely soothing. And the food—absolutely unforgettable! I had all three meals here, and if only I had another stomach, I would have loved to try even more from the menu. There were plenty of fresh local vegetables; everything was truly delicious, beautifully presented with great taste, and above all, you could feel the chef’s love in every dish. It makes perfect sense that so many guests return again and again. It was hot in midsummer, but I rented an e-bike, rode to the beach, and went for a swim. Just as rumored, the water was crystal clear—the beach was stunning—and it left me feeling completely refreshed. I will definitely come back in another season. Both the location and the Room quality are excellent. It is quiet, and once you are in the Room you cannot hear the noise of the city, making it an ideal environment to relax and recover from fatigue. The service is attentive without being intrusive, and it is a comfortable Hotel. Most guests are international travelers, so it feels almost like being abroad. There is a convenience store on the first floor; it can get crowded, but it is very convenient.

We usually travel to the Hakone area a few times a year as a couple, but this time we stayed one night at “Rinpo Kiryū” for our first family trip, including several celebrations. We have had the chance to visit many Accommodations, but we have never encountered one as outstanding as this—everything from start to finish was truly moving. We arrived about an hour before check-in, yet we were warmly welcomed without hesitation. From a wonderful commemorative photo for our celebration to a heartfelt message card with the photo attached, we were touched by the surprise hospitality and thoughtful care. We are sincerely grateful to have made so many unforgettable memories for our family trip. Thank you very much. Above all, what deserves special mention is the exceptional hospitality of the staff. From greeting us on arrival to seeing us off at the end, every moment was impeccable, allowing us to relax and enjoy unhurried time. Our assigned staff member was genuinely kind and always smiling; we enjoyed our conversations and were deeply impressed by their attentive care down to the smallest details—our whole family was moved. The guidance through the property—like a paradise filled with an extraordinary atmosphere—was also thorough, and everyone we met greeted us with smiles that put us at ease. Our Room was very spacious, beautifully maintained, and spotless. The bed was ideal for us—not too soft and not sinking in—so it was extremely comfortable. (My wife is quite particular about beds and rarely says this at other Accommodations, so I was surprised when she said she wanted to stay another night and didn’t want to go home yet.) During our stay, the Room included its own private open-air bath with free-flowing Onsen sourced directly from 100% natural spring water (no added water or heating)—a superb and rare Dōgashima Onsen often described as “legendary.” We could indulge in Onsen whenever we liked. In addition, there was an indoor hinoki Onsen bath, a private sauna, and even a pool, so our family could enjoy everything together. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious; each dish was beautifully presented with great care, filled with creative ideas and thoughtful touches from the chef. There were also many staff members on hand—the service felt perfect. Based on our past experiences, it’s rare to find an Accommodation where service is this attentive in every respect. More than anything else, being able to stay at “Rinpo Kiryū” became a wonderful experience for our family. Thank you again very much. We would love to visit again.

I thought it would be difficult to get there without a car, but there was a free Shuttle Service bus, so it was easy to reach by train as well. There was also a Shuttle Service to Sukayu Onsen, and I was very satisfied to be able to enjoy an Onsen with different water quality from the Hotel’s. The meals were all carefully prepared using local ingredients. The restaurant had a great atmosphere, and everything was delicious. All of the staff were very pleasant and helpful. Unfortunately, due to heavy rain and wind on both days, we couldn’t use the Hakkoda Ropeway, but we were able to relax at the Hotel until it was time. We had a wonderfully relaxing summer vacation. I stayed here during my visit to Morioka and was very satisfied with the Accommodation. First of all, the location is extremely convenient. It’s close to Morioka Station, making it easy not only upon arrival but also for getting around during your stay. I think it’s a Hotel that works well for both sightseeing and business. The guest room was also comfortable, and I was able to spend my time pleasantly throughout the property. The overall balance of location, guest rooms, Facilities, and service is excellent—this is a Hotel that genuinely makes you feel glad you chose it. When I visit Morioka again, I would definitely like to stay here again. It has become one of the Hotels I can choose with confidence.

We stayed as a group of four—my older sister, my mother, my aunt, and me—to celebrate my sister’s 60th birthday. Thank you for the flowers and message card delivered to our Room. Having photos taken during dinner also became a wonderful keepsake. You even prepared a special outfit for the 60th birthday celebration, which truly warmed our hearts. Since it was a weekday, the baths were not crowded, which was perfect for my elderly mother and aunt. For dinner (we chose a Plan with fewer dishes because two of us are elderly), everything was elegantly seasoned, and there were still enough dishes to leave us completely satisfied. It was the most delicious meal I have ever had in my life. In two years, I would like to stay again to celebrate my mother’s 88th birthday.

I visited once before it became TAOYA, so I can vouch for how wonderful the Onsen is! That silky-smooth water makes you want to soak again and again. Dinner felt like they really put in the effort, and everything was consistently good and delicious. That said, breakfast might feel a bit less impressive by comparison. We chose the most affordable Japanese-style Room, but it was very close to both the restaurant and the Onsen, and with two separate rooms it felt like a great value.
