As previous guests have mentioned, the drive is long after turning off the main road onto a side road. The Accommodation is about a 20-minute climb up a narrow road where passing can be difficult (it’s paved and there was no oncoming traffic). It seemed to be operated by a designated management organization, and we were welcomed by staff with wonderful smiles, who guided us to the lodge and explained the Facilities. With panoramic views over the city, we enjoyed its beauty both day and night. Recommended for families.

We stayed at Adan Resort Akari. Whenever we contacted them about any Facility issues, they responded right away. After changing Rooms, we realized there was no kitchen, and when we mentioned the dumplings we wanted to eat, they had microwaveable frozen dumplings in the freezer. That thoughtful gesture put smiles on our whole family’s faces. Thank you very much! We would love to stay again.

We stayed as a family of four. When we informed them of our early arrival, they kindly allowed us to enter the room. They also sent us URLs via text message for recommended nearby supermarkets and cafes. It was such a wonderful villa that one night felt too short! A slightly disappointing point was that none of the pet supplies were prepared, so it would have been better if the items listed on the site were ready. The bath was comfortable, and we had a very meaningful time. We would love to use it again.

This was our second stay, following our visit in March this year. With a spacious living room with beautiful sunset views, a comfortable kitchen, a relaxing massage chair, and a sauna, our whole family was very satisfied and able to unwind. The grandchildren were delighted with the morning harvest experience in the owner’s garden. The caretaker was also very pleasant—this is an Accommodation we’d love to return to.

I arrived early and was worried, but they kindly stored my luggage. I made the Reservation to see the starry sky, but unfortunately, the weather was bad, and I couldn't see it. I'll come back for a revenge visit! Thank you very much.

I stayed here in mid-June while visiting ancient tombs with friends during the special exhibition at the Kitora Tumulus. The Room, meals, and the bath and toilet were all very comfortable and relaxing. The rice was delicious, and I was especially happy with how good the sake at dinner and the coffee after breakfast were. The sunset over Komiya Dotan behind the Accommodation was beautiful, as it was just when the rice paddies were filled with water. In the morning, we climbed nearby Amakashi Hill and enjoyed watching the sunrise together. I had wanted to take my time in Asuka to see both sunset and sunrise, so I’m truly glad I chose this Accommodation. When I forgot my phone charger, you contacted me right away, which really helped. Thank you for a wonderful stay—I’d love to visit again to watch another sunset.

We stayed here with a group of 11 seven years ago, and both then and this time we were very satisfied with both dinner and breakfast. This time we stayed with one Papillon, and we were able to stay comfortably without any inconvenience. The Facility is not new by any means, but more than that, you can really feel the cleanliness and the thoughtful amenities. Everyone who assisted us was very pleasant. Next time, I heard there is an Accommodation for couples only nearby, so I would like to take our time and stay there as a couple.

I made a reservation to celebrate my husband's birthday. It happened to be the day of the fireworks festival. The spacious area was comfortable, and we created unforgettable memories with our family. This is a place we would love to visit again as a family. Thank you for providing us with such a wonderful experience.

The in-Room dining tasted great, and the portions were very satisfying! If I had to say one thing, it would be perfect if the time between courses could be a bit shorter. I ended up feeling full while waiting (lol). The open-air bath in the Room was also amazing—I think I used it about 10 times (lol).

I stayed in a single, but it was more like a partitioned space with a curtain at the entrance than a private Room. The pull-out storage was convenient. I had a chance to talk with another guest staying in a single, and it was a nice time. The women-only washroom, toilets, and bath area were clean. Convenience stores and shops are within walking distance, but restaurants may be fully booked or closed on certain days. The Shuttle Service was very helpful. You can freely use the lounge where you can bring your own food. Sometimes there is no staff at reception, but you can contact them by mobile phone when needed. Wi-Fi in the Room building was hard to connect to, so I used it near reception instead. If I visit Rishiri again, I would like to stay here again.

The soothing sights of the surrounding hills and the sounds of the river and insects were truly relaxing. The room was clean, and dinner was a delightful BBQ on the terrace while enjoying the sunset view. The meal included vegetables, rice balls, pickles, and an abundance of delicious meat. The private bath in a separate building was spacious and refreshing! Morning and evening walks were incredibly pleasant! Breakfast was absolutely amazing—homemade bread, homemade bacon, freshly picked vegetable salad—it made for a luxurious and blissful morning. There were two adorable dogs guarding the fields; they were so friendly and cute! This wonderful accommodation is filled with the kindness of its warm-hearted owner family. We also received plenty of fresh vegetables as souvenirs—they were incredibly delicious. Thank you for such a fantastic time!

We visited Kanazawa on our honeymoon and stayed here. The bath was excellent, and the food was absolutely delicious—we were very satisfied. If we have the chance to visit Kanazawa again, we would definitely like to stay here. Thank you very much!

After my first stay in April, I became completely captivated by Kito Nasu and decided I absolutely had to visit again within the year. This was my long-awaited second stay! Last time, I stayed for one night, but it wasn’t enough to fully enjoy this wonderful place, so this time I stayed for two nights! From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted by a delightful blend of wood and incense scents that make you want to take a deep breath. The sauna was as amazing as ever!! The layout is well thought out, and the fresh air makes outdoor cooling sessions incredibly refreshing. If you're experienced with lighting wood saunas, it’s easy to get started; even if it’s your first time, there’s a clear manual provided so anyone can do it quickly! The bathroom amenities are thoughtfully stocked with MUJI products. There’s not only a hairdryer but also a hair iron available. While there is just one mirror in the space, it's spacious enough for two people to use comfortably. I absolutely love the Aqua Feel bath that amazed me during my last visit—it makes you want to soak endlessly! (This time I used it five times!) The washing machine and gas dryer are super convenient; they even provide high-quality fabric softener that leaves your laundry warm, fluffy, and wonderfully fragrant after every wash. The restroom plays soothing music when seated and has its own handwashing area—very convenient—and yes, even the restroom smells great! The kitchen is equipped with state-of-the-art appliances including a large refrigerator and plenty of stylish tableware. Everything here exceeds expectations—it feels like every “wouldn’t it be nice if they had this” has already been anticipated at Kito Nasu. Personally speaking, I don’t think there’s another private accommodation as charming as this one anywhere else. I’ve already started planning my next trip while searching through social media for similar private accommodations like Kito Nasu—but nothing compares so far! So now I'm thinking about visiting again early next year—this time for three nights! It truly feels like a second home where each visit makes you want to stay longer—a very relaxing accommodation. Looking forward to visiting again soon!

I stayed here while looking for an Accommodation that offers a fishing experience, and it turned out to be even better than I imagined. The fishing experience was especially fun and became a wonderful travel memory. All the staff were cheerful, and their hospitality was excellent throughout. They even celebrated our wedding, which truly moved us. We really appreciated their thoughtful attention to detail. The meals were also very satisfying—one luxurious dish after another, including kuruma prawns, spiny lobster, tempura, and more. Everything was delicious; it’s a dream for seafood lovers. The Onsen was relaxing, and the amenities were well stocked, so we could stay comfortably. The views, food, and service were all outstanding—an Accommodation I’d love to visit again. Highly recommended for anyone traveling to Amakusa.

The Room’s interior, Facilities, size, and location were all excellent. I wish I could end my review there, but there was one very disappointing issue. On the morning of the third day (Saturday) of our two-night stay, I found a spider about 10 cm in diameter in the bathroom during a morning bath. The spider itself may have come in when opening or closing the door or windows, and given the natural surroundings—and since I noticed it right before checkout—it wasn’t a major problem. The real issue was what came next. Since new guests might be staying that day, and some people may dislike insects or small children might encounter it (it was large enough to surprise even me), I worried it could ruin their trip. I called the published phone number, but only reached an automated message saying it was outside business hours. I also checked the pre-stay email guidance but couldn’t find any emergency contact information. I understand this Accommodation operates differently from a Ryokan or Hotel, but for situations where guests need to contact someone immediately during their stay (it doesn’t have to be public), there should at least be an emergency contact number provided to guests. In this case, I hope housekeeping removed the spider so the next guests could stay comfortably. However, please recognize that not being able to resolve urgent issues smoothly by phone can potentially ruin a trip, and consider setting up proper emergency contact arrangements. As mentioned at the start, this is an excellent Facility overall—but this one drawback alone makes me hesitate to book again.

We visited as a group of six: a family of four with two brothers (an older brother in kindergarten and a younger brother who will soon turn 2), plus grandpa and grandma. Our younger child is at an age where he can’t sit still, so even eating out is usually a bit challenging. That’s why we chose this Accommodation, where we could relax without worrying about others. It turned out to be truly wonderful. At a regular park you have to constantly worry about kids running off, but here the area is enclosed, which was such a relief! Some of the play equipment was still a bit advanced for our 1-year-old, but there was also a swing and plenty of outdoor toys, so I think he had an amazing time. They also had various toys prepared indoors, so we didn’t have any “I don’t want to go inside!!” tantrums either. We were grateful they even provided bath bombs! Our kids were thrilled with Thomas toys, drawing on the windows, and the night lights too. Our plan was to arrive around noon to play outside and then start BBQ when check-in time came—but around noon it was still drizzling. After seeing the yard, the kids went straight into “we want to play anyway” mode and played while getting a little wet. When the rain got heavier partway through, we headed to a nearby supermarket for a while. By the way, bringing sneakers, sandals, and rain boots for this trip turned out to be the right choice! On our stay date it stopped raining during BBQ time so it worked out fine, but we did find ourselves wishing there were more cover extending over where the tables are set up. Of course there’s some effort involved in preparing most things ourselves, but having energetic kids and not needing to worry about other guests’ eyes made it genuinely stress-free. This was the most relaxing and enjoyable trip with children we’ve ever had!

We visited with 5 adults and 2 dogs. The stylish exterior and beautiful interior were impressive. The food was incredibly elaborate and delicious. Unfortunately, we couldn't enjoy the bonfire due to the rain, so we're looking forward to it next time. It would be even better if there were a comfortable sofa in the Room.

The layout and furnishings were impeccably stylish—everything was perfect. It ranks among the best villas I’ve ever stayed in. They also responded to my questions very quickly, and I’d definitely love to stay again. However, perhaps because it’s close to the mountains or due to the season, it was a shame that the deck and terrace were full of insects at night. I also couldn’t use the open-air jacuzzi on the second floor at night. I understand it can’t be helped, though... Even so, it was such an amazing escape from everyday life that I still want to come back!

A perfect blend of traditional Japanese Ryokan charm and modern simplicity! The staff were incredibly friendly, and the meals were delicious. I would love to visit again.

The natural Biwamasu trout, proof of its orange color from feasting on plenty of shrimp! It's incredibly delicious!! Served as sashimi, grilled, fried, and more in generous portions. Living in the Kanto region makes it hard to visit often, but next time I’d love to try the eel hot pot (Jun-Jun). Thank you so much to everyone at the accommodation for your hospitality.
