The Kasumi crab and sashimi served at dinner were very fresh and delicious. The sound of the waves played like background music in the Room and the open-air bath, creating a truly special, out-of-the-ordinary experience. Everyone at the Accommodation was kind, making this a very satisfying trip. Thank you very much.

We stayed for one night over the Obon holidays as a family, and everything was excellent. The Facility matched the photos, was very clean, and we had a truly comfortable stay. When we arrived, the tarp and BBQ set were already prepared, so we could start enjoying a barbecue right away—wonderful. There was also a Miele front-opening dishwasher, which made it very convenient for a large group to wash and dry dishes automatically. What we especially liked was that the LDK is on the first floor, and there is also one bedroom on the first floor. Even among luxury villas I researched extensively, it’s rare to find this layout plus a sauna, so I think it’s quite valuable. It also seems very easy to use when traveling with elderly guests or anyone with limited mobility, since it reduces the need to go up and down stairs. The wood deck is designed to be hard to see from the road, and it isn’t fully exposed from neighboring homes either—privacy was well considered. You can see an apartment-like building a few hundred meters away, so you probably wouldn’t want to sunbathe completely nude outside (haha), but it still feels nicely private. The sauna goes up to 90°C maximum, so those who prefer an authentic high-temperature sauna might find it slightly lacking. However, relaxing outdoors after the cold bath on an infinity chair or in a hammock was truly amazing. We had originally extended late check-out by two hours, and when we asked for an additional two-hour extension, they kindly responded quickly since there were no upcoming Reservations. The staff service was excellent as well. We were satisfied with everything—the Facility, layout, comfort level, privacy considerations, and staff support. It made for a wonderful family trip. I chose this place because it has an Onsen and a massage chair. As soon as I arrived, I filled the Onsen with water, and it quickly filled up to the perfect temperature. I spent my time alternating between the bath and the massage chair, which helped me fully relax and relieve my daily fatigue. There was also a Famicom available, so I tried playing it for the first time in my life. I got slightly better at it and almost lost track of time. But no worries! With a 1:00 PM checkout, I was able to enjoy everything to the fullest.

I found an accommodation at Yubara Onsen that matched my preferences with a private open-air bath in the room, so I made a reservation. Although it was pouring rain on the day, the service started with staff bringing an umbrella to us at the parking lot, and their farewell was excellent until the very end. We stayed in "Ruri," and having a large private bath in the room that we could use anytime was amazing. My wife enjoyed soaking in the natural hot spring more frequently than I did. Both dinner and breakfast were satisfying, and we didn’t even touch any of the snacks we bought from a convenience store just in case—we were completely full from our meals. The sake was delicious, and we also enjoyed using the baths at neighboring Tsuruya Inn. If I had to point out any negatives, perhaps there was a slight smell from the toilet? Or maybe some mold on the curtain of the open-air bath? The sound of ventilation fans? However, these minor issues didn’t bother us as there were far more positives during our stay. If you’re visiting Yubara Onsen, this is definitely a place you should experience at least once! It’s not just worth 5 stars but deserves 10 stars!

The Onsen accommodation was excellent except for the outdoor bath having a cover and the volume of breakfast. The heartfelt cuisine, in particular, was truly impressive.

I stayed just before a long holiday and happened to have the place to myself, so I could relax without any worries. The staff were wonderful and provided attentive service. The homemade fruit liqueurs, jams, and vegetables were delicious—I even forgot to take photos (lol). The only thing that didn’t suit me was the firm pillow, but everything else—the Room, bath, terrace, and more—was lovely. I’d definitely like to stay again. Thank you very much!

The Onsen water was surprisingly silky, and it left my skin feeling smooth. It’s one of the best hot spring qualities I’ve experienced. 　All of the food was delicious as well. The sea bream ochazuke was especially outstanding. 　However, it rained at night, and I woke up because the sound of water dripping from the gutter was too loud. 　I was also disappointed that the bath towels were too old. Still, since the Onsen and meals were great, I’d like to visit again!

This was my first stay, and it was a comfortable Accommodation with courteous service. The Room was just the right size, and I could enjoy an evening stroll to nearby shrine events. The bath was not crowded, so I was able to relax. I was satisfied with both the quantity and taste of the meals, and it feels like a hidden gem I’d like to visit in every season. Next time, I’d like to stay in the new wing.

The Facility and the Room felt a bit old, but everything was thoroughly cleaned and very tidy, so we were able to relax comfortably. The bath was also kept clean, and the Onsen felt absolutely wonderful. The meals were mainly mountain vegetables, but they were very delicious. This time we had kiritanpo hot pot, but according to the Reviews, game dishes seem to be popular, so next time I’d like to try them. The doburoku was also great. I’d like to stay at this Accommodation again if I have the chance.

The cuisine, room, Onsen, and hospitality were all wonderful at this Ryokan. The price was also very reasonable. It is located about a 5-minute walk from Echigo-Yuzawa Station, and I loved the location as well. I would like to stay here again if I have the chance.

The Room was spacious, bright, and clean, and we were very satisfied. We stayed as a group of six across two generations including children, and the 2LDK layout was perfect. Since two of us are smokers, we were also able to relax and smoke in the Room, which made everything even better. We would like to stay again. We checked various sites, but in the end IKYU offered the best price and felt the most reliable.

I chose this Accommodation because I was very interested in the open-air bath accessed by the mountain railway. I enjoyed it so much that I ended up using it three times during my stay. Since it was Monday right after the holiday period, it was very quiet, which was great. The Facility has the charm of a classic Onsen Accommodation, and the guest rooms have been beautifully renovated, making it extremely relaxing. I would love to stay again.

I had always wanted to visit Shirahone Onsen. It’s far from home, so I rarely had the chance, but I finally made it. It truly felt like a secluded hot spring in the mountains—the water quality was excellent, and the open-air bath was wonderful. The meals were delicious, and the facilities were kept very clean. The souvenir shop also had some unique items, and I enjoyed everything. Chatting with the friendly staff made the experience even better.

We chose a Room with a private Onsen and stayed there. It was our first time, and the futons were already laid out in the Room, with consideration given to minimizing unnecessary staff entry. As it is mineral spring water, it is heated, but the clear, colorless water was easy to soak in and warmed us up nicely even at a lukewarm temperature. The meals were excellent—sashimi and grilled fish that you wouldn’t expect for a place near the mountains. Insects may occasionally wander into the open-air bath in the Room, which some guests might find bothersome, but we were fine with it. If it were closer, we would love to visit this Accommodation again.

The dinner was impressively elaborate. It was incredibly delicious, and I believe staying here was worth it just for the meal.

Dinner offered a wide variety of dishes, all very delicious, and we were completely satisfied. I only wished the tempura had been served freshly made, but it was still tasty and satisfying. Breakfast was a healthy Japanese-style meal with many small side dishes that went perfectly with rice, and I was happy to be able to have three extra bowls of rice. The private bath was a bit hot, but we could adjust the temperature. The large public bath was also clean, and we were able to relax in the Onsen. The waterfall shower is right in front of you, and they even provide coins for it—excellent. The balance of food, price, and overall satisfaction was very good. We also received discounted ski tickets, which made our ski experience great value as well. They are flexible with breakfast times for hikers and can accommodate bento lunches too, which I found very convenient. I would like to stay again. Thank you very much.

We booked this Accommodation because there was a residents’ discount, so we decided to stay somewhere nicer than usual. When we stayed before, it wasn’t all-inclusive, so we were really looking forward to it this time. The dango grilling was available until 4:00 p.m. We arrived just in time at 4:00 p.m., but we were glad we still got to do it. The amazake was delicious as well. The Onsen was empty, so it felt like a private bath and was wonderful. After the bath, I went to the alcohol corner for a drink, but the room was hot. When I opened the entrance door for ventilation, it was closed again. I also couldn’t find the air conditioner switch. There was a TV installed, but no remote control, so I couldn’t turn it on. Unfortunately, I went back to our Room right away. It said free Wi-Fi was available; it worked in the lobby but not in our Room, which was disappointing. We were very satisfied with both dinner and breakfast. At breakfast there were many different side dishes for rice, and I ended up running out of rice. There were a few disappointing points, but all of the staff were kind and very pleasant. The Onsen and meals were great as well, so it turned into a wonderful wedding anniversary trip.

I was looking forward to the Onsen, known for its 800-year history. It was a free-flowing natural hot spring with very hot water—truly excellent. The meals used local ingredients, and I enjoyed the stylish tableware, dining area, and jazz music. The staff were also very kind. The Room was barrier-free, and I felt it would be suitable even for wheelchair users. The only disappointment was that, since it is an older Facility, some maintenance seemed lacking—for example, a coin locker was broken. Overall, I was satisfied. Thank you very much.

Soaking in the Onsen surrounded by nature is truly uplifting. Just an hour from Nagoya is also a plus.
