This was our second stay. Since our third son (our beloved dog) joined our family five years ago, we only choose Accommodations where we can stay together, so we’ve stayed at many pet-friendly places around the Kanto area. With new Accommodations opening all the time, there are only a few we’ve ever revisited—but this one is exceptionally satisfying, so we returned during the Obon holiday period. With pet-friendly Accommodations, there’s often something you have to compromise on, but this place is almost perfect. The balcony of our guest Room had an open-air Onsen bath, a sauna, a cold plunge bath, and a relaxation area with a shower—plus an open-air bath for dogs. Inside the Room, there was a theater room with two massage chairs and a dining room where you can enjoy meals in your Room. The French cuisine served there is truly delicious. Recently, more and more Accommodations have excellent Facilities, but I don’t know any other place where you can enjoy food of this quality in your Room with your dog. Once again, everything was absolutely delicious. If you’re looking for the best Accommodation to stay with your dog, I highly recommend giving this place a try.

We stayed in the West Wing with my parents, siblings, nieces and nephews, and our family—6 adults, 3 children, and 2 dogs. Everyone was thrilled, and it became a wonderful travel memory. As we were celebrating a special occasion, we asked for balloon decorations and to purchase fireworks. For meals, we hired a private chef. Inamuragasaki holds many memories for us. With the ocean right in front of us—and no power lines visible from inside—it was truly a special location. Since the kids are still small, they were overjoyed to use the rooftop jacuzzi like a pool instead of going into the sea. The adults could watch them safely and relax while enjoying the ocean view in complete comfort. The food was also excellent—hiring a private chef was absolutely the right choice. We also got to try out karaoke that you’re considering introducing as a service. Our child who loves singing was delighted and held onto the microphone nonstop. At night we enjoyed fireworks and made so many great memories with the kids. Everything was prepared in such a comfortable setting—easy for adults and fun for children. Our surfer family members even went into the ocean twice. It truly was an amazing place. We highly recommend it for family trips. We will definitely be back again. Thank you very much.

We stayed for a Multiple Night Stay of four nights. Above all, this Accommodation is truly pet-friendly. We visited with both a dog and a cat, and they both seemed relaxed and happy. There were plenty of amenities for dogs and cats, plus facilities such as a dog run. We could stay with peace of mind, and all the staff clearly love animals, which made our time here even more special. The Japanese staff were wonderful as expected, and the international staff were also incredibly polite—so much so that we initially thought they were Japanese—always with warm smiles. It gave us the sense that the training and working environment here must be excellent. The staff deserve more than five stars. Meals are à la carte, so you can choose whatever you like each day in any amount you want. This was especially appreciated during our Multiple Night Stay, and everything was consistently above average in taste. They offer a great balance of both Japanese and Western dishes, so we never got bored. Every day was delicious. Alcohol at night at the bar, as well as drinks in the Room refrigerator, are included, which is very reassuring for those who enjoy drinking. In addition, 30 minutes of spa treatment per day was included; I even received a massage and felt truly healed. The Room was neither too large nor too small—just right for two people—and it was well designed and easy to use. The hot spring water left our skin smooth and glossy; it was excellent. Both the indoor bath and open-air bath are fed directly from the source (free-flowing), and we could adjust both volume and temperature using only the natural spring water. It’s pure luxury. These days many Hotels or Ryokan only allow smoking in designated areas, so being able to smoke on our private terrace attached to the Room is something smokers will really appreciate, especially if you want to have a drink on the terrace while enjoying a cigarette. Because the terrace is surrounded by high walls, our cat could also go for walks there safely. Cats tend to run off easily, so it’s rare to let them stroll freely—this was another great point. Our cat looked completely at ease. It was our first time visiting Kikuchi City. There are many wonderful places nearby including Kikuchi Gorge, and Aso is less than an hour away by car, making sightseeing very convenient. Since there is a university stable near this Accommodation, there may occasionally be a slight animal smell, but that isn’t an issue caused by this Accommodation itself. And since this is an Accommodation that pet lovers choose specifically because they travel with animals, I think it’s simply something not to worry about (it didn’t bother me). This is a fantastic Accommodation where you can truly relax with your pets. Thank you very much.

Each Room comes with a private open-air bath, and meals can be served in the Room as well, so we were able to relax without worrying about others. What made us happiest was how well the Accommodation is set up for dogs! In addition to a private dog run just for our Room, there is an indoor dog run on-site, and outside the Accommodation there are two more dog runs—one with wood chips and one with grass—making four in total. We could choose where to play depending on our mood and the weather. The meals were also delicious, making great use of Izu’s fish, meat, and vegetables. There was an excellent selection of menu items for our dog as well, and they finished everything in no time. All of the staff were very dog-friendly, and it really showed how much they care about dogs. It became a wonderful memory where we could truly relax together with our dog. Thank you very much.

We stayed to celebrate my partner’s birthday. This Accommodation had long been on my list of places I wanted to visit, and even though it’s hard to secure a weekend Reservation, we were able to book. With such high Review ratings, we were truly looking forward to it—and our stay exceeded every expectation. Even now, we’re still savoring the afterglow. If I may say so… I’ve stayed at many Hotels considered “luxury,” but this is top-tier in every sense. The Room design and immaculate cleanliness, the staff’s service, smiles, and professionalism—and the cuisine. It’s such an outstanding Hotel that any words feel inadequate. The restaurant in particular was exceptional: you can feel deep respect for the ingredients and producers throughout. Conversations with the restaurant manager, head chef, and staff were delightful, and it was pure happiness (for those who drink alcohol, I highly recommend the pairing—it’s an incredible value). Both my partner and I would love to return again. Thank you for such a wonderful time.

Thank you very much for such a wonderful stay. At check-in, the front desk staff kindly and thoroughly explained the in-house Facilities and services, which allowed us to start our stay with complete peace of mind. My wife has a shellfish allergy, and we are truly grateful that the restaurant’s head chef thoughtfully adjusted the menu for us. In particular, dinner on the second night was even more outstanding than the first, and we were deeply moved by the extra care put into each dish. While we were taking photos inside the property, a seasoned and very kind staff member noticed us and spoke to us. They gladly took photos for us, thanks to which we were able to keep wonderful memories of our trip. We are foreigners and can hardly speak Japanese. Even so, throughout our stay we received warm, attentive service that made us forget any language barrier. This stay reminded me once again of what I felt when I first visited a Japanese Ryokan years ago: uniquely Japanese hospitality that truly cherishes travelers and makes them feel as safe and comfortable as if they were at home. It is truly an excellent Ryokan. We sincerely appreciate the heartfelt hospitality of all the staff. We would definitely love to visit again. Thank you again for such a wonderful time.

Meals were served in the Room, so we could relax and enjoy them without worrying about other dogs. The seasoning was excellent, and we were served freshly cooked rice—it was truly delicious. The amenities were well stocked, and we were happy that jinbei were provided instead of yukata. Every staff member was pleasant, and we had a wonderful vacation. We would definitely like to visit again.

We stayed with a family of four and two dogs. The Room was very spacious, and we could really feel the thoughtful attention to detail in the amenities, which made our stay very comfortable. The Room was clean, and the Onsen was excellent. A bug got into the bath at night and the kids got a bit upset, but since it’s deep in the mountains, we understood it couldn’t be helped. We’d love to come back and stay again with our dogs. Thank you very much.

We stayed in the detached annex with our family of four and our dog. The Room was spacious and clean, and everything was prepared so we could relax right away. We checked in during a typhoon in heavy wind and rain and got completely soaked, but it was a relief that we could use the Onsen immediately after arriving. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware and seasonings, so we brought ingredients and cooked dinner ourselves. The breakfast bread and soup were very delicious. Since it was a second-floor Room, the view was amazing. The sunrise glow was beautiful. However, it was disappointing that there were so many stink bugs on the terrace that we couldn’t go out. There were also plenty of amenities for dogs. We were able to enjoy bath time together and even sleep together. Check-out is at 11:00, so you can take it easy in the morning. I used the Onsen twice in the morning. Being able to enjoy the Onsen whenever I wanted made me very satisfied. Next time, I’d love to soak in the terrace jacuzzi while looking at the starry sky. I would definitely like to stay again.

The Onsen with a view of Mt. Yufu from the Suo guest room is amazing, and we visit every year. They welcome large dogs, and the service, meals, Onsen, and dog run are all excellent—an Accommodation where you can truly enjoy an escape from everyday life. We’ve stayed at most pet-friendly Accommodations in Oita, and this one is the best! One request: It would be perfect if we could sleep together with our pet.

We stayed here to celebrate our dog’s first birthday. It was our first family trip with the puppy we had just welcomed home, and we had many worries, but thanks to the kindness of the staff and the well-stocked amenities, we were able to relax and enjoy a comfortable stay. And above all, the meals were delicious!! We had both breakfast and dinner, and both left us completely satisfied—full in body and heart. The Onsen in the large public bath was wonderful as well. The open-air bath in our Room is not an Onsen, but it was spacious and relaxing. Our family has already been saying how we want to come back again soon.

Our First Visit to Ubud no Mori All of the staff were incredibly kind and spoke to our dog so warmly. Thanks to them, we felt welcomed and comfortable from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious—we were more than satisfied!! We even got to enjoy the late-night soba, which made the evening even happier. Being able to relax and have such a wonderful time with our dog became a truly special memory for us. We would love to visit again! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

We stayed for two nights with our two Pomeranians and my father, and had a very comfortable time at this dog-first Accommodation. The staff, the Room, the meals, and the bath were all excellent. Since it was hot, we really appreciated being able to borrow a free cooling neck wrap for our dogs. The portions were generous, and I’m sorry we couldn’t finish everything. We would love to stay again.

From the warm welcome to the heartfelt send-off, we were truly satisfied with the hospitality. With the carefully designed interior and a beautiful garden view, we could freely enjoy a variety of delicious Ureshino cold teas, which helped us forget the heat. Dinner was delicately prepared with deep flavors and was beautiful to look at; even my mother, who has visited Onsen all over The whole country, was deeply moved. The bath in our Room was also a continuously flowing Onsen, and it felt wonderful. All of the staff were genuinely kind, and their smiles were soothing as well.

We stayed here with our family to celebrate my birthday and his. The Room was spacious, and everything—the toilet, bath, and beds—was exceptionally clean. The open-air bath was also at a perfect temperature, and it was clear it had been well maintained. We ordered the BBQ dinner and breakfast! The Awaji beef was top quality—tender and absolutely delicious. All the other dishes provided were stylish as well, and everything paired perfectly with wine. I wondered if it would be enough… but it was more than enough—we couldn’t even finish it all! I debated choosing No Meals Included and bringing our own ingredients, but I’m really glad we ordered the meals. If I had to mention one thing… there weren’t quite enough dishes. In the morning, we planned to enjoy Sora Villa’s special sandwiches with coffee and onion soup, but there were only four mugs available—so I thought it would have been nice to have bowls for soup. In the morning too, we soaked in the open-air bath while listening to the waves rolling in at sunrise, then relaxed on the terrace with drinks and conversation. We were able to spend a truly relaxing and elegant time. Next time, we’d like to bring our dog as well—and visit again together.

Last summer, we stayed here for the first time and our whole family was thrilled to enjoy such an extraordinary getaway, so this year we extended our stay to three nights. Since we thought we might not make it by check-in time, we let them know we would be late, and they responded very pleasantly. Check-in was until 6:00 PM, but when we arrived around 7:00 PM and went to reception, the staff greeted us with a wonderful smile and said “Welcome back,” providing truly perfect service. Right after checking in, as we drove out for dinner, we noticed that the decorative lights that had been on earlier were now off—and realized they had turned them on as a landmark to help us find reception. We felt sorry for the trouble and were impressed by how thoughtful the staff were. Because we have a dog, we chose a type with a large dog run and BBQ facilities, and it exceeded our expectations. The Room was spacious and spotless, amenities were well prepared, and it was so perfect it was hard to find anything to complain about. We’d love to keep using it like a vacation home in the future, and I think it’s also ideal for multiple families or three-generation trips.

Traveling can be a challenge for dog owners, so this time we chose an Accommodation where our dog could stay with us—and it was a great success. The Room was spacious enough to comfortably spend time with our small dog. The Room was very clean, and the property featured plenty of artwork throughout, making it feel like a small museum. We enjoyed the indoor bath, open-air bath, sauna, and cold plunge while admiring the stunning tile murals. The biggest highlight was the dining. We upgraded our meal plan, and it was truly excellent—beautifully prepared and delicious. We did feel that beer and other drinks were a bit pricey. The service was polite and attentive; even the international staff were very considerate, making our stay extremely comfortable. This is an Accommodation we will definitely return to.

We stayed one night in a second-floor Room starting 2026/6/6. Our group was two adults, one 2-year-old, and one Pomeranian. The Room was stylish, clean, and spacious, and the private open-air Onsen bath was more than large enough. The water temperature was easy to adjust. Even though it was June, we didn’t notice any insects, and it was wonderful to be able to bathe 24 hours a day at whatever temperature we wanted. The only reason this isn’t a full 5 stars is the lack of a view (it didn’t bother us at all at night). We were surprised to find an indoor puppy area in the Room that’s big enough for light running. Also (in a good way), even though the Facility is extremely clean, dogs are allowed to walk anywhere as long as they’re on a leash. The vanity has double sinks and is very comfortable. There’s also a front-loading washer/dryer, so staying two nights or more would be easy. The shower room is very spacious, which made bathing our 2-year-old much easier. The kitchen is well equipped with appliances and tableware for cooking, but we ate out this time. Within walking distance there are great sushi places, buffets, loco moco spots, and an infinity-style scenic footbath with amazing views. Shirarahama Beach is about a 20-minute walk from the Hotel—an excellent location. Within about 10 minutes by car are Toretore Market as well as recommended yakiniku and pizza restaurants. They offer free rental of an outdoor wagon: we loaded our 2-year-old and our Pomeranian into it and walked to Shirarahama Beach. At night we went to a buffet about a 3-minute walk from the Hotel; after our child fell asleep we enjoyed Onsen time with drinks; the next day we bought delicious bread from the attached bakery Hotel before sightseeing. Thanks to all of this, we had an amazing holiday. We will definitely return—if I had to nitpick: - I would have liked a baby guard to prevent falls (we pushed the beds together and used pillows as a barrier) - I would have preferred an enclosed toilet room (this is also why it’s not quite full marks for the Room) We’ve stayed at many pet-friendly Accommodations before, but considering location and value for money, this was by far the best. We will absolutely come back. Apparently Rooms on the third floor have ocean views—next time we’d like to stay there.

This was our first stay as a couple with our dog. From the moment we arrived, the owner and all the staff welcomed us with thoughtful care and warm smiles, and any tension quickly melted away, leaving us feeling at ease and at home. We were soothed by the free-flowing natural hot spring Onsen in our room, and enjoyed the calm retro-modern atmosphere throughout the property that felt like stepping into an anime or fairy-tale world. While savoring outstanding, healthy, locally sourced cuisine, we could almost feel impurities gently leaving our bodies and energy returning. We were able to truly relax both body and mind. We will definitely be back.
