Last time, the chef’s heartfelt cuisine was wonderful, so this time I booked a Multiple Night Stay. The food exceeded my expectations and truly moved me.\nThe hospitality of all the staff was also top-notch.\nThis is an Accommodation I would love to visit again. Thank you very much.

I think this Accommodation is very comfortable for solo travelers. I was worried about using the bath because I wanted to use it as many times as I liked whenever I wanted, but I was able to enjoy it to my full satisfaction. Breakfast also offered a generous variety. It’s an Accommodation that makes you want to come back anytime. The shakuhachi performance was also a refreshing experience.

This is the most satisfying Ryokan I have ever stayed at. The hospitality was beyond anything I could have imagined. The owner, the proprietress, and all the staff were wonderful people, and their warmth truly touched my heart. The meals, centered on seafood, featured outstanding ingredients and careful preparation—I was completely satisfied. What deserves special mention is the owner’s 100% buckwheat handmade soba: its aroma and smoothness were exceptional. I live in a prefecture known as a soba mecca, but I have never had soba better than this. Even the breakfast vegetables were all pesticide-free and homegrown, made with real care. The Onsen water was a reddish cloudy spring that felt gentle on the skin and relieved my fatigue. The building has a dignified presence with a sense of history. In every way it was outstanding—an Accommodation that makes you want to return again soon.

We visited during the Obon holidays, and the drive was not crowded at all. The Accommodation is in a great location, just a short walk to Irago Cape Lighthouse. Right in front is Koiji-ga-hama Beach, and we were able to relax at the Accommodation while enjoying the beautiful ocean view. The proprietress, the young proprietress, and all the staff were wonderfully pleasant and welcoming. We have stayed at many Ryokan and Hotels, but we think this place is the best. The food was also excellent, and we were completely satisfied with everything. We would like to take good care of the hibiscus we received on our way home—thank you very much. We would definitely like to visit again.

I love food and have stayed at many inns known for their cuisine, but the meals here far exceeded my expectations. Every dish was carefully prepared with excellent ingredients and great attention to detail, and the four of us—my parents and my spouse and I—enjoyed them with genuine admiration. The room was spotless down to every corner, the furnishings were beautiful, and the open-air bath was spacious and wonderfully relaxing. The woman who assisted us in our room was also outstanding. We could feel her thoughtful attention in everything—from the timing of each course to countless small details—which made our trip truly special. This is an inn I would love to visit again, and one I can confidently recommend.

Whenever I find some free time, I visit Sunset Susami to relax. But what impresses me most is the people who work here. No matter when I come, everyone is kind, and even the newly hired staff (including international staff) explain the dishes in Japanese—you can really feel how hard they are trying. From check-in to meals, they do their very best to provide warm hospitality, and it makes me feel grateful and comforted. There may not be flashy or luxurious facilities, but the rooms, lobby, and restrooms are always kept spotless and well cleaned. Whenever I stay here, I can always head home feeling refreshed. I didn’t get to see the manager this time, but please take good care of yourself.

This was our second stay, and even though we arrived nearly two hours later than planned, thank you very much for welcoming us so kindly. Both the Room and the bath were very clean. We were a bit concerned about mosquitoes given the season, but effective measures with a wonderful fragrance were in place, so we felt completely at ease throughout our stay. The sound system in the loft theater room was excellent—it truly felt like being in a movie theater. We were also shown to a private dining room, which allowed us to relax and enjoy the delicious food at our own pace, almost like in-Room dining. All of the staff were courteous from start to finish, and we had a truly wonderful time. We would love to stay again. Thank you very much for everything.

We stayed here as a couple to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. It was an even more wonderful hotel than we expected, and our stay—from arrival to departure—was satisfying from start to finish. As someone originally from Nagoya, the TV Tower has been familiar to me since childhood, though it has been 25 years since I left the city. I was truly surprised and moved that such a beautiful hotel had been created here. From the warm welcome on arrival, every member of staff was attentive and kind, and we felt comfortable throughout our stay. This time, we were upgraded to a larger room as a Diamond member benefit—what a lovely surprise! The welcome sweets were adorable and absolutely delicious. The view from the room was outstanding, of course. The art displayed throughout the hotel was also captivating, giving the entire property its own unique atmosphere. There were new discoveries everywhere we walked, and we thoroughly enjoyed the art tour as well. Searching for artworks together as a couple became a fun memory too (laugh). And the night view from the observation deck—an exclusive perk for guests—was truly breathtaking! We could take in all of Nagoya’s nightscape at once, making it an unforgettable moment. The hidden-door entrance leading up to the deck was incredibly stylish; its playful touch made us genuinely excited. Breakfast lived up to its reputation—delicious in every way—and we enjoyed a luxurious, happy morning while taking in the amazing view. My wife loved it too and said, “No.1 among all the hotels we’ve ever stayed at!” We’re truly happy to have found a hotel that satisfied both of us wholeheartedly. Thanks to everyone’s heartfelt hospitality, our 25th wedding anniversary became a wonderful memory we will never forget for the rest of our lives. This is an inn I had been curious about for about a year, and I was finally able to make my long-awaited stay. At check-in, you kindly explained the history and culture of Ise-Kawasaki in great detail, which truly moved me. The Ise tea and salted yokan served to us were delicious, and the warm, attentive hospitality of the staff member who assisted us left a lasting impression. The room was a charming space where you could feel the breath of history—spacious, spotless, and extremely comfortable. The beautiful garden view beyond the room was so captivating that I found myself gazing at it for ages. The amenities were also wonderful, including VMG’s familiar rice bran series and the bath additive “Ise no Misogi-yu.” What impressed me most was breakfast. The dishes, inspired by the tradition of “Shinsen,” offerings presented to the deities at the Grand Shrine, had deep, comforting flavors that reflected time-honored skill and spirit. As I savored them while feeling the region’s climate and history, I felt a profound sense of peace and healing. I also appreciated being able to enjoy Ise udon at breakfast—something I had missed during my trip—which was such a thoughtful touch. At check-out, you gladly took commemorative photos for us in front of the main building and warmly saw us off until we were out of sight; that moment remains vividly in my heart even now. It was clear that everyone on staff truly cherishes Ise’s history and culture. This stay reminded me of Japan’s precious sense of beauty—something easily forgotten amid everyday busyness—and made it an unforgettable experience. I would love to return again. Everything was always clean, and I had a very comfortable stay! All of the staff provided wonderful hospitality. This time, I chose the “Tajima Beef Colorful Kaiseki” course! They carefully explained each dish, which made it even more enjoyable. I was able to fully enjoy Kinosaki at night.

We stayed here on a trip with my parents-in-law. Our top priority was finding an Accommodation that could provide a low-sodium diet for my father-in-law, who became seriously ill last year. If possible, we also wanted to bring our dog along, since my parents-in-law adore him. Those two points are why we chose this Accommodation. From the parking guidance to our Room, we were warmly welcomed by staff with wonderful smiles. They also prepared chairs for my elderly father and even a chair for the in-room Onsen bath, so within 30 minutes of arriving at the Ryokan we already felt truly happy. What impressed us most was the meals. We were told they would “accommodate as much as possible,” and they really did—removing mentaiko, providing low-sodium soy sauce, and preparing dishes without salt or pepper. Thanks to all these adjustments, my father was able to finish almost everything. Since his illness, even eating out requires constant caution, so being able to enjoy a meal together at the Ryokan made us genuinely grateful. Some Reviews mentioned there were no dog amenities, but there were lint rollers and paw wipes available, so we had no issues. The usual overnight set you’d bring when leaving a dog at a pet hotel (pee pad tray, food bowl, water bowl) was enough. The in-room Onsen bath was very spacious, with perfect water temperature—I used it many times. All of the staff at this Accommodation were kind and pleasant throughout our stay; it was truly two days of happiness. We would love to visit again!

From arrival by car to departure, we had a very pleasant stay. All the staff were cheerful and very kind, and the meals were excellent. When we left by car, it was especially memorable that they kept waving until we were out of sight. We would definitely like to stay again.

The hospitality from all staff members was among the finest we have experienced at any accommodation. It never felt excessive; instead, they offered attentive support exactly when needed, allowing us to relax with complete peace of mind throughout our stay. This has become a truly special place for our family—one we hope to revisit in different seasons to enjoy changing mountain scenery and cuisine each time.

Although it was my first stay, I was instantly captivated by the beauty of the property and its exceptional cleanliness. The location from our room was perfect, and the in-room hot spring—always ready to use without adding heat or water—was truly soothing. This time I stayed while hosting guests from the United States, and I was deeply impressed by the staff’s hospitality. Even though we arrived late for dinner, they welcomed us warmly without a hint of displeasure. What surprised me even more was that they quickly translated and printed an English menu on the spot. My companion was equally moved. They also kindly accommodated our train schedule by moving breakfast 15 minutes earlier, showing thoughtful flexibility that truly considered our situation. This is a wonderful ryotei that genuinely makes you feel glad you stayed—one you’ll want to brag about. Next time, I will definitely bring my family!

We stayed here for a family trip to celebrate a 60th birthday. The Room called “En” had wonderful views and beautiful furnishings, allowing us to forget everyday life and fully enjoy the relaxed pace of Amami. Above all, every meal was delicious, and we could really feel the care put into using local ingredients and pesticide-free produce—it was outstanding.

The building was simply wonderful. We stayed in the detached Room “Gion” with an open-air bath, and it was very spacious with high ceilings; the dark brown beams and pillars gave it a charming atmosphere. There were two semi-double beds, and they were fluffy and very comfortable. The in-room open-air bath was spacious and amazing (the view would likely be especially beautiful in late autumn or when it’s snowy—though getting there might be a bit challenging). Dinner was also very delicious.

We set off before noon, almost as if defying Typhoon No. 25.\nWe arrived in heavy rain.\nThe welcome drink was delicious!\nThe open-air bath was wonderful as well.\nNot only was the meal excellent, but the anniversary cake was especially delicious!\nThe proprietress and all the staff were very friendly—it was a truly lovely night.\nThank you very much.\nIf we have the chance, we would definitely like to visit again!

My spouse and I stayed on June 19. The building was old, but it was well maintained, and the courtyard after the rain in the morning was lovely. All of the meals were delicious, and we both finished everything. The staff were also very pleasant. We were able to visit Amanohashidate, which we had wanted to see for a long time, and fully enjoy Kyoto by the Sea. Thank you very much.

A sisters’ trip from Kanagawa to Izu. We stayed at Homare no Hikari, a Hotel with a calm atmosphere. Both the Room and the cuisine were wonderful, and we were very satisfied. We heard that the menu changes by season, so we would definitely like to stay again. Highly recommended Hotel. Thank you very much.
