This was our second stay at Umekiya. We stayed once before and it was so great that we chose it again. The owner talked with us about why we picked this place again, as well as products made on Awaji Island and shops run by local creators, and we were able to actually stop by. They also share recommended spots around Awaji Island. On our second visit, we used a nearby super sento. It was extremely crowded with locals, so while Umekiya doesn’t have a bathtub, if you want to take your time in the bath, it’s better to use Umekiya. The Wi‑Fi in the Room (which didn’t work well last time) had been improved, but the best part is spending time enjoying the atmosphere in the shared space on the first floor while having free drinks. There are two shared toilets, but my family wished they were separated for men and women. It’s also hard to tell whether someone is inside; even though one of them was vacant, I was knocked on and asked to hurry up. It would be helpful if it were easier to see whether each toilet is occupied or not. If we come back to Awaji Island again, this is a place we’d like to stay at.

Although the daytime heat was not much different from Tokyo, the mornings were much cooler, with a pleasant breeze, and we felt refreshed while enjoying the magnificent views. The meals (kaiseki and French cuisine) were excellent, and we were able to enjoy them at a relaxed pace. In particular, the breakfast buffet was of very high quality; it was clear that each dish was carefully prepared and served, which we truly appreciated. The Onsen with yuno-hana floating throughout was also wonderful and very relaxing. The private family bath was very easy to use as well. We played tennis and rode the cable car to enjoy the swings, and even our older children had a great time. This is an Accommodation we would like to continue cherishing for years to come. I stayed here for the first time, mainly as a stopover. With the discount on IKYU.com, it was an excellent value. The Facility is luxurious throughout, and the staff were outstanding. Before my stay, I was a bit concerned about access since it’s slightly far from the subway station, but it’s only a few minutes on foot to Hisaya-odori and you can enter the underground shopping area, so it didn’t feel inconvenient. For dining, I used Nadaman in the Hotel with my dinner companion’s arrangements and ordered à la carte; the service was attentive and the food was delicious. It was such a comfortable stay that I regret not choosing this Hotel sooner.

Thank you for your hospitality. The Room was great, the Onsen was great, and the meals were outstanding! Each dish was truly memorable. Although it was far from Ise Jingu Shrine, we were really glad we stayed two nights because we could enjoy dinner twice. Our dog also loved the delicious food. Thank you very much.

We stayed here to celebrate his birthday. I had long dreamed of visiting this Accommodation, so I was truly looking forward to it—and the experience exceeded my expectations in every way. Personally, I’m not usually comfortable with the atmosphere of a traditional Ryokan, but Hanamurasaki pleasantly changed that impression. The Room was a refined, modern space, yet it also felt warmly relaxing. Even down to the amenities and small details, everything matched a contemporary sense of comfort while still offering the calmness and attentiveness unique to a Ryokan. Above all, the view from our Room was breathtaking. Watching the scenery slowly change over time—accompanied only by insects chirping and the sounds of wind and water—felt incredibly luxurious. I even forgot about my smartphone entirely and was able to savor unhurried time and conversation, which became a cherished memory. The in-room Onsen was also wonderful: an unexpectedly spacious bath with an exceptional sense of openness. From soaking while taking in the view to simply enjoying the moment, it truly felt like pure indulgence. Dinner was served as a course meal, enjoyable not only for its flavors but also for its beautiful tableware and presentation. We could fully appreciate local tastes and seasonal touches, and we were very satisfied. Thank you as well for kindly accommodating ingredients I don’t eat. Another highlight was the hospitality from all of the staff. It never felt excessive—always natural—yet their thoughtful attention could be felt throughout our stay. Beyond the sophisticated space and cuisine, I believe this Accommodation’s greatest charm is also its human warmth. A modern, polished setting combined with warmth that only a Ryokan can offer—the two coexisted so comfortably that “a place where you can experience a new value in what a Ryokan can be” felt like exactly the right description. This trip was chosen to celebrate his birthday, but before I knew it I had completely fallen in love with Hanamurasaki (laugh). I’m truly glad we chose it for such an important occasion. Thank you for such a wonderful stay beyond expectations. It has become an Accommodation we’ll treasure—and one we’d love to return to in another season.

We had a very comfortable stay. The building has a stylish Japanese-modern design, and the food was delicious. The staff who welcomed us were very kind, shared various stories with us, and were friendly and reassuring. The staff assigned to our Room were also very kind. If I had to mention one thing, I wish the view from the bath in the Room had been better.

I stayed here on the recommendation of an acquaintance who has visited Karuizawa many times. It was just a few minutes’ walk to Kyu-Karuizawa Ginza, so it was very convenient for exploring the area. The Room and the large public bath were both spacious, clean, and comfortable, and I really enjoyed both meals—they were delicious. I requested the Shuttle Service, and the vehicle was clean and the ride was excellent. The staff were also very pleasant and welcoming. If I had to mention one thing, it would have been even more comfortable if the TV supported network features. I will definitely stay here again when I visit Karuizawa.

I stayed here last year to celebrate my birthday, loved it, and returned again this year for my birthday. This time, I truly appreciate your even more thoughtful hospitality. Thanks to you, I was able to relax wholeheartedly in my Room. This year’s concept was to take it slow at a Hotel. First, I enjoyed a Multiple Night Stay at a wonderful Hotel in Umekoji. Then I came here. Different in character, yet even better. It feels wonderfully calm. Perhaps it’s because you make the most of the location by the Kamo River and help us experience Kyoto so comfortably. In the midst of the bustle of Shijo-Kawaramachi, this is a space where you don’t feel any of that at all—remarkable. Your affiliated HIYORI Ocean Resort Okinawa is also one of my favorites—an exquisite Hotel that lets you truly feel the beauty of Onna Village. I’ve fallen for Soraniwa Terrace Kyoto as well! At this rate, I may end up coming back again for my birthday next year.

It was my first stay in a while, and it remains a wonderful Hotel. The approach leading straight from the public road to the main entrance is elegant and picturesque. Since it opened in 1935, the Facilities are not the latest, but that is exactly what gives it a unique charm. The staff’s service was also impeccable. For dinner, we enjoyed classic French cuisine rather than today’s modern fusion style—it was delicious. As is true of Unzen’s tourist areas in general, this historic destination is rich in nature, and I imagine maintaining both the Facilities and the gardens must be challenging for those in tourism. I’m sure there are many difficulties, but I truly hope you will continue to preserve this beautiful Hotel.

We stayed for two nights with breakfast included. We previously stayed at the Akita location and found it very comfortable, so we chose the Aomori location this time as well. The Room was clean and spacious, the bathtub was deep enough to relax in, and the amenities were well stocked. Breakfast was delicious.\nWe would like to stay again.

The kindness of the staff, the comfort of the Room, and the truly delicious cuisine—everything was as wonderful as always. It has been three years since reopening, and I was heartbroken to hear the sad news that it will close in November. I am truly disappointed and at a loss for words. It was a superb auberge. I will visit again before it closes.

I had the pleasure of staying in the newly renovated “Minna” at Betsuyu. As you’d expect from a Good Design Award winner, the space was so impressive that I couldn’t help but gasp when I entered. The Room was exceptional in every way—its generous size, high ceilings, and luxurious private Onsen, sauna, and wash area created a one-of-a-kind layout. Saunas can sometimes feel enclosed, but being able to enjoy it while looking out at the sea made it truly outstanding. The service was excellent as well, with great Diamond member benefits. From the delicious ohagi welcome sweets to late-night snacks and even bread as a souvenir, everything was more than satisfying. I chose a crab course for dinner that was slightly out of season, so next time I’d like to visit in a different season and enjoy other dishes. There is also a large public bath, but having everything—Onsen, sauna, and cold bath—complete within my own Room made this an incredibly satisfying stay. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

We made a Reservation because the bathroom has a washing area. The bathroom was so spacious that we could stretch out and relax in the tub. When we entered the Room, both the air conditioner and air purifier were already running, making our stay very comfortable. Thank you very much.

We stayed as a family. We really appreciated being able to freely enjoy the welcome drinks and snacks, video games, massage chairs, and more without it feeling overcrowded. The table tennis and darts were also available 24 hours whenever they were open, and since no Reservation was required, it was easy to join in and we enjoyed them many times. It was also nice to have services like cooling sheets and face masks, and we were happy to find a ReFa hair dryer as well. Dinner was delicious—the half buffet and seafood barbecue were so good, with more than enough food. In the morning there was limited-time seafood that we could make into a rice bowl, plus the famous fried oysters, fruit, sweets—everything was excellent and we were extremely satisfied. The Room was lovely and comfortable, and this is a Hotel we would like to stay at again. Thanks to you, it became a truly memorable and fun trip. Thank you very much.

After sightseeing in Kamikochi (Mt. Yakedake hike) on Sunday, 5/31, I stayed at Super Hotel Nagano/Iida Inter. The best part was being able to stay at such a great price with breakfast included (delicious bread, salads, side dishes, etc.), and it reaffirmed that choosing this Hotel was the right decision. I’d definitely like to stay again if I have the chance! One suggestion: I would personally appreciate it if breakfast could start 30 minutes earlier, from 6:00 a.m. This would make it easier to travel smoothly for sightseeing that day, so I hope you will consider it.

This was my first time staying at Super Hotel, and I’m already considering a repeat visit. I waited in the lounge on the first floor until 3 PM while enjoying a welcome drink. The variety of drinks was impressive, and the bright café-like atmosphere was so comfortable that even when I was invited to my room, I thought, "I could stay here a bit longer." The ladies' floor is secured with a passcode system, providing peace of mind. The public bath for women may be more compact compared to the men's but still very comfortable with excellent water quality. There’s an all-in-one gel available at the dressing area. At first, I thought there were no pajamas in the Room, but later realized they are self-service from under the pillow selection shelf near the elevator. You can choose between S size and free size. It’s something I assumed would be in the Room by default! For amenities, you can select five items per night from their original collection—there are so many options that it’s hard to decide! Since it was just a one-night stay and I wanted to pack light, this service was incredibly helpful and appreciated. Recently, many hotels seem to have firm beds; however, this bed had a soft mattress pad similar to futons—it wasn’t cold when sleeping and allowed me to rest deeply through the night. Breakfast offered balanced options with a DIY café plate style that tasted delicious! All staff members left a positive impression; this is definitely a Hotel where even solo female travelers can feel safe staying overnight.

This Accommodation is highly recommended. The Room was clean and comfortable, and with the fresh greenery of the season, the semi-open-air Onsen was absolutely wonderful. The front desk staff were also very helpful, and we had a pleasant stay. The location and surroundings are excellent. It’s an Accommodation I’d love to visit again. Next time, I plan to choose the largest Room with an open-air bath.

We stayed in a suite. We were very satisfied with the size of the Room and the terrace, and the peaceful rural view was truly soothing. We could also see the stars clearly at night. We enjoyed the welcome drink and sweets, which raised our expectations for dinner—and they did not disappoint. The course meal served in our Room was wonderful, with the staff kindly explaining each dish, and even the chef came to greet us in person. Everything looked beautiful, but it tasted exactly as amazing as we hoped—perhaps even better. I ate each dish in genuine amazement. It made me wish we could casually enjoy this cuisine nearby whenever we wanted. As for dessert at dinner, we were surprised by both the canelé and the chocolate—the canelé for its delicious flavor, and the chocolate for its unique texture! It’s not hard; there’s something special inside. I truly hope you’ll try it. Breakfast was very filling. The egg dish was so luxurious that I couldn’t help blurting out “Wow!” I felt happy thinking, “I ate so many vegetables!” The bread was homemade and delicious, and they kindly wrapped up what we couldn’t finish to take with us. With meals like this included, we looked at each other as a family and said how unbelievably affordable this Accommodation Fee felt. We were also happy to purchase a lovely wood plate as a souvenir—it made for a wonderful stay overall. Thanks to the warm hospitality of all the staff, it became a trip where we lost track of time, and meeting the chef’s kind personality as well made us deeply grateful for such delicious food and such special moments.
