This was the final Accommodation of my first trip to Niigata, a 3-night, 4-day journey. Our Room was the 2nd-floor Western-style twin [Marronnier]. The bathroom, with a separate toilet, was very convenient and made our mother-and-daughter trip extremely comfortable. The closet was spacious, and there were plenty of hangers. Just before check-in there are shoe lockers, and you can walk around the building barefoot or in socks. From the large floor-to-ceiling windows in the Room and along the corridors, you can enjoy views of wine grapes vineyards and the mountain range stretching from Mt. Yahiko. I visited looking forward to Vinespa’s aroma hot stone sauna, but I was told it is no longer available after renovations—such a shame. Still, the open-air baths placed throughout the garden offered wonderful scenery, and I thoroughly enjoyed soaking both after dinner and before breakfast. Restaurant Cave d’Occi is beyond a European-style garden that is carefully maintained by gardeners. The April menu—beautifully presented and truly delicious—featured local ingredients (hairy crab, celeriac root celery), spear squid), wild boar meat), flounder), roast beef smoked with branches from wine grapes vines), etc.) without feeling overdone). At the winery shop, I had my favorite Zweigeltrebe and unoaked Chardonnay shipped home). The next morning’s Japanese breakfast surprised me—in a great way: zaru tofu with olive oil was delicious!! At checkout time) pizza toast) grape juice) at the library café tasted so good it made leaving hard). It’s an Accommodation that made me genuinely envy those who live nearby).

All staff members were very friendly, polite, and kind. Everyone was incredibly pleasant, making my stay truly enjoyable. This was the best point of my experience. The amenities available at check-in were abundant, including options like face masks. The welcome drinks on the first floor were available until midnight with a wide variety of soft drinks to choose from. There was also an ice server (or ice machine), allowing me to enjoy chilled oolong tea or iced coffee after relaxing in the Onsen—such a great touch! Disposable cups for hot beverages that are easy to hold without getting burned showed thoughtful consideration as well. The Onsen featured saltwater baths where you could float comfortably when stretching out your body—it felt amazing! It was open until 9 AM in the morning! For women’s baths, only female guests receive a passcode required to enter, and lockers with wristband keys provided extra security and peace of mind. By the way, rooms also use passcodes instead of physical keys, eliminating any hassle about who holds the key when going out—very convenient! The room's soundproofing was excellent; I couldn’t hear any noise from neighboring rooms and slept soundly. Breakfast started at 6:30 AM. While not overly extensive in variety, it had just the right selection and everything tasted delicious. I enjoyed both rice and bread options until I was full. There were four types of bread; I tried two savory ones—the croissant was so good that I went back for seconds! They even offered regular milk instead of low-fat milk—a surprising delight for me—and finished off with yogurt and coffee as dessert. It didn’t feel like a free breakfast because it exceeded expectations in quality and satisfaction levels! Food replenishment was prompt too—everything reflected great attention to detail. This was my first time staying at Super Hotel but definitely won’t be my last visit here. Thank you very much!

The Room was small, but it was very good. The breakfast was also delicious.

This was our fourth stay, and I visited with my wife. Each time, we stayed in a different Room. Not only the Room, but the entire Accommodation is truly spotless and impeccably maintained. Every meal is delicious, no matter what you choose. We visit various high-end Ryokan and other places every month, but this Accommodation has a relaxing atmosphere you don’t find elsewhere, and we really love it. I can tell all the staff put in tremendous effort. I’m not good with words and can’t express it well. Thank you for taking such good care of us. We will be back.

Although it was a cold day, we were welcomed very warmly. The staff were courteous and helpful, and we truly appreciate it. The Onsen was also wonderful—my skin felt smooth afterward.

I considered an Accommodation on the Nagara River because I wanted to show my daughter cormorant fishing. An Onsen Accommodation would have been nice, but we wanted a buffet-style meal, so we chose this Hotel. It was an extremely hot day, and the moment we stepped into the Hotel, the cool air revived us. As a Diamond member benefit, I was happy to receive a one-drink service in the first-floor lounge. The Room we were assigned was on a high floor with a great view, and it was spotless—truly impressive. The dinner buffet isn’t in a huge restaurant, but the quality of the dishes served was excellent, and we enjoyed everything. Drink prices were reasonable for a Hotel, and since it was before cormorant fishing, my daughter and I each enjoyed one drink. We used taxis for round-trip transportation to the cormorant fishing site, which made it very comfortable. Even though it was hot that day, there was a pleasant river breeze, and it helped us forget the daytime heat for a while. Because the river level was low, it seems they didn’t actually catch many ayu, but being able to see energetic cormorants up close made it a great experience. At breakfast, there were many inbound guests early on, but they cleared out quickly, so we were able to eat in peace. The well-known ayu rice porridge was delicious—I went back for seconds several times. The selection of dishes also reflected local flavors well, with various Gifu specialties, which I appreciated. For morning fruit there were oranges, pineapple, and lychees; I’d be happier if there were a few more options. I liked the selection at the shop as well. If I had one request, I would truly appreciate Shuttle Service from the station to the Hotel. As expected of an established Hotel with history behind it, my daughter and I enjoyed an elegant stay. We made a Reservation because it was close to the Otsuka Museum of Art. It was wonderful. It was our first time in Tokushima Prefecture, and it wasn’t too far to drive from Osaka, which made for a great trip. One regret is that the Hotel sold onions, and I wish I had bought them there—they were cheaper than anywhere else. The food was excellent, the staff were very pleasant, and we would like to stay again. It became a great summer memory with our child.

We stayed here for a festival and sightseeing. This was our second stay, and we were satisfied as always with the great location and the well-equipped Hotel. However, the Room slippers had been changed to reusable ones, and that was the only thing we couldn’t use. Also, since it was raining, we had a hard time waiting for the coin laundry. Other than that, we had a comfortable stay with no inconveniences and were very satisfied. Thank you.

I stayed at Kurayoshi City Hotel again on June 22. As there was a nearby get-together this time as well, I chose to stay overnight. Since my previous stay was comfortable, I felt confident booking again. The hotel is close to the venue, so getting there was easy and convenient—even after having drinks. The room was kept clean, and I was able to relax in a calm atmosphere. The facilities were sufficient, and I had a comfortable stay without any inconvenience. The staff were also polite and made the experience pleasant. This Hotel is appealing for its great location and comfortable stay environment. When visiting Kurayoshi for a get-together or business trip, I would like to stay here again. Thank you very much.

This was my first stay. The Hotel is adjacent to the station, making it convenient for sightseeing, and since my friend who traveled with me smokes, they were grateful to find a smoking Room, which is rare these days. The service was excellent, and from our Room on the 24th floor the night view was beautiful. We were also able to watch the sunrise and enjoy a quiet, dreamlike scene. The Room was thoroughly cleaned and well stocked with amenities. Coffee, tea, and sugar were provided, and while the drinks in the refrigerator are paid items, there was a wide selection. There is also a convenience store nearby, but we were able to relax comfortably in the Room without any hesitation. The breakfast was carefully prepared with thoughtful touches; including local dishes, it ranks among the best Hotels I have stayed at so far. Elevator security also felt reassuring, as the key card only worked for our Accommodation floor. I would definitely like to stay again.

Thank you for welcoming us with such warm hospitality! We booked a Room with an open-air bath, and it felt more open than we expected, which made us a bit nervous, so we used it early in the morning and at night when it seemed like no one would be around. The meals were also delicious, and we were very satisfied! We ate so much we could barely move.

Two years ago, I made a Reservation, but my father passed away and I had to Cancel the Reservation at short notice. It had been on my mind ever since, so this time I made another Reservation and stayed here. I truly enjoyed the best of the countryside! Honestly, it feels higher quality than many Hotels. The food was carefully prepared, with great flavor and texture in every dish, and the Room and bathroom were designed to be comfortable and easy for anyone to use. Above all, the hospitality is outstanding! If you want to experience the countryside, I highly recommend staying at Yamagataya!!

We stayed on August 1–2, 2026! The Room (depending on the Plan, I assume) felt like it could have been a bit deeper and wider, but it matched the photos online. This was our first stay at Taoya as a family of four, including a second-year university student and a second-year high school student. We loved the all-inclusive free drinks (including alcohol) throughout our stay, plus the welcome dessert (the mini Mont Blanc was freshly piped on the spot). At dinner buffet, there were shake salads, freshly grilled and carved steak, and each table had a small burner for mini hot pots. There were also pasta and pizza, and even late-night snacks included in the Plan—everything was excellent in both taste and portion size. Breakfast was also buffet-style with build-your-own rice bowls, grilled fish using the tabletop burner, and freshly baked mini apple pies brought around to each table (they’re seriously piping hot, so be careful when eating). Our whole family was very satisfied. At dinner one night while we were taking a selfie with an outstretched arm, a staff member kindly offered to take our photo—an extra touch that made us even happier. The location was great too: easy access to Momiji-dani Suspension Bridge and the Nasu Highlands area, and Nikko is just over an hour away by expressway. Since it’s in the mountains we were worried about insects, but they didn’t bother us at all—we didn’t even encounter any during an evening walk (to the nearest suspension bridge), at the open-air bath on the 4th floor, or in our Room. The only insect we really noticed was dragonflies flying around the courtyard; little kids seemed to enjoy having them land on their fingers. Personally, I especially liked the courtyard bonfire! I arrived at Naha Airport late at night and stayed for one night. I stayed here in a similar situation last year as well, so this was a repeat visit. They upgraded me to a slightly larger Room. All the staff were pleasant, and the Room, shower, sink area, and toilet were clean and quiet (it felt like most guests had good manners). There is also a 24-hour supermarket nearby, which is convenient. The next day, I took a taxi early in the morning to rent a car nearby and was able to start my trip smoothly. I would like to stay here again next year. Thank you very much!

I suddenly felt like visiting Matsushima and started looking for Accommodation, but everywhere was pricey. The more affordable places had reviews that were, well, what you’d expect… Since my stay was short, I thought I didn’t need to do much sightseeing—then I found this place. A “Room assigned on arrival” Plan with crab at this price? Is that really okay? I arrived feeling both excited and a bit anxious, but it exceeded my expectations by far. The staff were wonderful, and even though it’s a two-story building, there’s an elevator. When I got to my Room (by chance), it was a twin room with double beds. Spacious! Clean! Beautiful! Both dinner and breakfast were delicious. The staff’s attentive check-ins were also appreciated. I finished all the crab without thinking about anything else. I noticed a framed certificate on the wall—it wasn’t quite a standard chef’s license… Turns out they’re actually an instructor who trains chefs. No wonder everything tasted so good… In the large public bath, I ended up chatting with other guests about how great this Accommodation is. If there’s one thing I’d like to mention: The small stones laid in the reclining bath area of the large public bath have come loose, and it hurt when I stepped on them—please improve this before my next visit.

I stayed for a Multiple Night Stay. The staff were very helpful, and when I returned the next day, I was happy to find fresh towels hanging on the doorknob. The bathroom was small, but I had a comfortable stay. Thank you for your hospitality.

This was my first stay here. The Room was spacious, and I was very satisfied to be able to relax in the Onsen. If I have the opportunity, I would like to stay here again.
