This was my first time in Himeji to see an opera. I considered other options, but chose this Hotel because of the Nikko brand, a separate bath and toilet, on-site parking, and even a club floor. However, the parking lot fills up quickly (it’s near the station and there aren’t many spaces), which made me nervous as a guest traveling from far away. A male staff member at the parking entrance kindly secured the last available space for me, which was a huge help—thank you very much. It would be great if parking could be reserved when making a Reservation, though I understand it may be difficult to manage. I also appreciated that parking is free for club-floor guests. The Facility feels a bit dated in places, but the Room has been renovated for comfort and convenience, with no shortage of amenities. The ReFa shower and hair dryer were excellent. The toilet wasn’t just updated cosmetically—the fixtures and piping also seemed new, making it very easy to use. The pajamas were a comfortable two-piece set with a soft feel and relaxed fit. It was quiet at night and I slept very well. The lounge made me wonder if this price is really okay—the food and drinks were impressively plentiful. Not only alcohol but also a great selection of HARNEY & SONS teas; the cinnamon tea recommended by one of the hotel staff was so good that I bought some afterward. Overall, the service was pleasant throughout and I could truly relax. Breakfast offered an extensive variety of both Japanese- and Western-style dishes—so much that even with my big appetite I couldn’t try everything. Live-cooked egg dishes are common at Hotels, but this was my first time seeing burgers made to order right in front of me. The burger was delicious—and perfectly sized as well. And the Awaji Island milk was outstanding. With no time limits on parking or lounge access, I could visit Himeji Castle and shop in the arcade as well. This isn’t just convenient for guests—it also feels like support for local revitalization efforts. Breakfast included many locally inspired items, and even the vending machines next to reception carried products from local confectionery shops—another nice touch. I don’t often have reasons to come to Himeji, but I’d love to return for a relaxing staycation. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

On my first visit back to Asanoya in a while, the Accommodation was even more beautiful than before, and the staff welcomed me with warm, genuine smiles. Enjoying a forest-bathing experience in the open-air Onsen surrounded by cicada songs, and soaking in the large public bath filled with clear, pristine water, I felt the everyday fatigue that had built up over the summer melt away—I was able to relax from the bottom of my heart. It’s rare to find an Accommodation where everything is this complete: the Onsen, the Room, the cuisine, and the attentive care of the staff. And while many luxury Ryokan are extremely expensive, Asanoya offers this wonderful service at truly reasonable prices. I hope to spend my years ahead with Asanoya. Thank you again for everything on this visit as well.

The service, rooms, and meals—everything about this Hotel was wonderful. The lounge was even more comfortable than expected, and I would love to stay again. All the food was delicious, but the only disappointment was the okonomiyaki. There was also a great variety of drinks, including plenty of alcoholic options. I couldn’t make it during afternoon tea due to other plans, so I’d definitely like to try it next time.

We stayed for one night on a family trip. We chose this Hotel as a base for sightseeing in Hiroshima City and Miyajima, and it was so comfortable that we found ourselves wishing we could spend more time relaxing at the Hotel. What we especially appreciated was the complimentary drink service. Being able to unwind with a drink after returning from sightseeing was truly relaxing and made our trip even more enjoyable. The Onsen was also clean and spacious, and it helped us fully recover from the day’s fatigue. The breakfast buffet exceeded our expectations—not only was there a great variety, but each dish was delicious, and our whole family was very satisfied. Starting the day feeling a bit indulgent is something we’ll remember. All of the staff were kind, warm, and attentive, which made our stay very pleasant. This is a Hotel we would highly recommend not only to those planning to visit Miyajima, but also to anyone who wants to enjoy some downtime at the Hotel as well. We would definitely like to stay here again when we visit Hiroshima next time. (I enjoyed my stay so much that I completely forgot to take photos!)

It was my first visit. I was completely satisfied with everything, but there are three highlights worth mentioning. I have stayed at many Hotels, and the dining here was exceptionally satisfying. It’s rare to find Western cuisine of this quality. I was amazed by the consommé made from chicken and vegetables—it concentrated the natural flavors of the ingredients beautifully. None of the dishes felt heavy, and I enjoyed everything right to the end. The ayu paired wonderfully with eggplant as well, and I was impressed by how it all came together. My husband and I even said we would like to stay again just for the meals. The wonderful location was also a major plus. I could truly relax while taking in such a luxurious view. I believe that’s thanks to how meticulously everything is kept clean—from the rooms to the large public bath and even the garden. We enjoyed coffee in the library, and used cups were promptly cleared away; there wasn’t a single unpleasant detail. Above all, what stood out most was how wonderful your staff are. Everyone—the person who provided Shuttle Service by bus, the front desk team, each member of restaurant service staff, and housekeeping—was warm and professional. There were also staff members with charming Fukushima dialects, which sounded lovely to me. In particular, one restaurant staff member remained poised while still engaging in pleasant conversation; unfortunately I didn’t get their name. I hope to see them again on my next visit. Since my parents’ home is in Izumisano, I used to watch this place being built every time I came to Sano. This was my first stay here. It was fun to see the familiar station from the Room, and everything was very comfortable. After the large public bath, there are plenty of manga available—like at a manga café—so I’d love to stay again and relax when I’m back visiting family. My child was thrilled too. 　However, because of how card keys work, when you remove the key the power in the Room turns off completely and even the air conditioning stops. So when you come back from the large public bath, the Room is hot, which is inconvenient. At a Ryokan, for example, the air conditioning doesn’t usually shut off like that. Also, only the women’s bath requires an authentication number; while I understand it’s for security reasons, it’s quite inconvenient. Next time, I’d like to watch unlimited movies in the Room and add what looks like a luxurious breakfast. Free Child Sharing Existing Bedding for guests 18 and under is also greatly appreciated.

I always stay at Naganohaku. The breakfast was as good as ever. The sake tasting in front of the front desk was nice with snacks, but it would have been better if I could have tried four varieties. I will stay again.

It’s been a while since I last felt like writing a Review. Nasu was hotter than I expected on my first visit, but thanks to the wonderful hospitality of everyone at “Kai,” we had a very comfortable stay. Our whole family was soothed by NM’s smile when showing us to our Room, and the staff in charge of breakfast and dinner were also friendly and warmly attentive. We also tried the premium soft-serve ice cream at a nearby farm that you recommended—it was wonderfully rich and impressive! The cuisine was the most delicious we’ve had in quite some time, with flavors that truly reflected the season. Each dish was delicate, and we thoroughly enjoyed the creative touches throughout. We stayed during Obon this time, but next time we’d love to visit in early summer or autumn! Thank you very much!

As we did last year, we stayed at Akagi Onsen Hotel again for a summer getaway. It had been a while since our last stay, but everything was perfect—hospitality, meals, and the Onsen. This is a Hotel you’ll want to return to again and again. We look forward to staying with you again.

As soon as I walked in, the Room was so wonderful that I got really excited. All of the staff were polite and amazing. The food and the Thai boat platter were excellent, and it made me very happy. I also had flowers prepared as part of the Plan, and they were beautifully arranged with great taste—absolutely stunning! I definitely want to stay again.

Thank you for taking care of us for 3 days and 2 nights! The Hotel had a wonderful atmosphere, and it made for a truly lovely trip. The Room was quiet and clean. The service was also great—when we arrived a little early to leave our luggage, they let us check in right away! It was nice to cool down in the Room for a bit before going out in the heat. This was my lack of research, but I went without bringing anything because I thought I had seen in a Review that skincare amenities were provided. Please bring your own skincare items!

Our previous Accommodation had quite a few foreign guests, and it didn’t feel very relaxing, but this place was quiet and we were able to unwind. I’ll recommend it to friends, and we’d love to stay again. Thank you very much.

The riverside open-air bath was closed, but we used the outdoor Onsen reached by going down 300 steps. The staircase is so narrow that only one person can pass at a time. We were told it’s open until 11:00 p.m., but we were worried about our footing at night, so we went in the evening and again in the morning. While soaking, we enjoyed the river’s flow and the mountains, listening to the sound of the water. The stairs were tough, but I truly felt glad we came. The semi-open-air bath down about 20 steps was also wonderful, with a clear view of the mountains right in front of you. The temperature was perfect for me. I didn’t expect much from the indoor bath, but it had large windows and felt very pleasant; there was a jacuzzi, a reclining bath, and a hotter pool where we could relax comfortably. Everyone at the Accommodation was very kind and welcoming. Dinner came in many small dishes. The beef and the meatballs in the hot pot were delicious. Even simple items like the beef sauce, hot-pot broth, and pickles were all excellent. The portions were just right for us as a couple. I think you need to be fairly fit to visit an outdoor Onsen that requires going down 300 steps—but I’m really glad we did. This isn’t about the Accommodation itself, but both the bus driver from Nasushiobara Station and the person at Shiobara Onsen Terminal who explained a map of Shiobara Onsen were incredibly friendly, which made our memories of this trip even better. The all-inclusive plan even includes drinks like 100% orange juice and apple juice. The washing machine is free (the dryer costs 100 yen per 30 minutes), and the massage chair is also free. Overall, it was excellent value for money. There are only two elevators, so they get crowded. When it’s busy, you may have to wait around 30 minutes unless you ride all the way up first and then come back down. A capable staff member with glasses—like a chief—worked efficiently while keeping a warm smile the whole time, which made me feel that APA has secured great talent.

I was happy to be able to celebrate my birthday here again this year. Not only was the Room wonderful, but the meals were delicious, and the staff’s hospitality was excellent—I’m always grateful. The towel cake in the Room and the mago chazuke I had been hoping to try made it even more special. I had a truly lovely time. Thank you very much.

The Onsen water quality is excellent, and you stay pleasantly warm long after your bath. The meals, including Yonezawa beef, were all delicious and very filling. The staff were kind and welcoming, making for a truly relaxing stay. I would love to stay here again when visiting Yonezawa.

Not only are the baths spacious, they are also kept impeccably clean, making for a truly relaxing and restorative stay. The sashimi boat platter at dinner was stunning and tasted amazing. Our whole family loved it, and we really enjoyed our drinks. Of course, the other dishes were delicious as well. Breakfast was a buffet, and the sashimi was excellent too. The sauna was very clean and relaxing. It opens from 4:00 a.m., so we could refresh with an early-morning sauna. We’d definitely love to come again.

I stayed here with my husband while I was pregnant. One morning, we woke up unusually early and took a walk together to Kiyomizu-dera Temple. The location is excellent, and I think it’s ideal for sightseeing. The lounge was also very comfortable. I recommend staying in a Room with a large bath!
