We stayed at the Tachibana Clan Residence. The building, the garden, the meals, and above all the heartfelt hospitality were wonderful, making this a truly memorable trip. We were able to fully appreciate the history of the Tachibana clan and enjoy views of the pine garden from the grand hall where the lord once sat. I’m sure that even people 100 years from now will be moved just as we were. Thank you very much.

I had made reservations several times before, but never had the chance to stay until this visit. The Cerulean Lounge was a wonderful space with a Japanese ambiance, and I loved the wide selection of individually wrapped sweets. I was also able to enjoy matcha at a relaxed pace and had a lovely time. For breakfast, I dined at “Sakuragaoka.” Everything was delicious, especially the rice cooked in a traditional kiln and the grilled fish. Thank you as well for accommodating my allergies.

The meals were excellent. We were able to enjoy both breakfast and dinner in private dining rooms in a relaxed setting. All the staff were kind, and we had a very comfortable stay. The room with a great view and the hot spring were wonderful, and it was also conveniently located as a base for sightseeing. When visiting Matsue or Izumo Taisha again, I would love to stay here again.

We stayed here while visiting USJ for our anniversary. Before check-in, we could store our suitcases in lockers, so we were able to head to USJ hands-free. That alone was a big help, and when I asked at the front desk if we could get some Universal stickers, they kindly gave us several different kinds as a gift. Thanks to that, my wife was excited even before entering the park. After enjoying USJ until closing time, we checked in. Our room was on the top floor (30th), and there was a “Happy Anniversary” card waiting for us—it made us so happy that all our tiredness disappeared. Although it wasn’t on the park side, the night view was beautiful. We eased our tired feet with the foot massager and bath, and since it was the top floor, it was quiet with no noise from above, so we slept peacefully. A ReFa hair dryer and hair iron were also provided in the room. Not only were the room and amenities great, but the warm smiles and service from the front desk staff made our stay truly comfortable—we had a wonderful time. Next time we visit USJ, my wife and I would love to stay again in a park-side room. Thank you very much.

The Room was a beautifully renovated guest room with an open-air bath, and I was happy to be able to relax and enjoy the Onsen in the Room as well. The staff were very courteous, and we had a comfortable stay. Dinner was delicious, featuring mainly seafood. We also really enjoyed watching the explanation and live demonstration of Oga Peninsula’s specialty stone-grilled dish. Breakfast was a buffet, and everything was tasty—we were completely full. It was a bit of a long trip, but we made wonderful memories. Thank you very much.

This was a long-awaited stay at a hotel I had always wanted to visit, and it truly lived up to my expectations. Because of the Kumamoto earthquakes, I briefly considered canceling my reservation. However, when I reached out, I received a warm and courteous email assuring me there would be no impact. By adjusting my route, I was able to visit safely. I am sincerely grateful for the thoughtful support even before our arrival. The interior was beautifully appointed with historic furnishings, and the fresh flowers placed throughout reflected subtle attention to detail. Dinner offered an authentic atmosphere and flavors; the portions and timing of service were just right, and we thoroughly enjoyed relaxing at the bar afterward as well. Those who prefer flashy luxury or modern facilities may find it a bit too calm, but for us—who love classic charm—it was an ideal setting. All of the staff were wonderfully attentive, though there were moments when it seemed they might have been slightly understaffed overall, to the point that I worried about their workload. Even so, we received warm hospitality and made wonderful memories. We would love to return again when we have the chance.

The weather was great, and we had a clear view of Mt. Fuji. The meals were delicious, and we were very satisfied. It was disappointing that Fujiyama Onsen was closed.

This was my second stay. Recently I had been staying mostly at Hotels directly connected to Niigata Station or close to the station, but I made a Reservation this time because I wanted to enjoy this breakfast buffet again after a long time. I was a little disappointed that there were fewer varieties of branded rice than before, but everything paired perfectly with rice and was very delicious. With three kinds of yogurt and four kinds of fruit, it was a very satisfying breakfast. The Room was also very clean and comfortable. I would like to stay here again.

This Hotel was mostly just a place to stay since sightseeing around Miyakojima was our main focus. In that sense, it offered excellent value for money. Breakfast had a wide variety of options and tasted great. We didn’t use it this time, but Shigira Onsen is within walking distance, and there are restaurants nearby, so I think the location is also excellent.

We always choose this hotel, and once again we had a wonderful and fulfilling three-day, two-night stay. This is our third year, and for our 8-year-old child it still feels like a truly special place. We sincerely appreciate you making our wishes come true. Thank you very much. It’s close to the park, has a convenience store on-site, plenty of restaurants nearby, and excellent facilities (the double sinks are a big plus). There are many more great points to mention, but we would love to stay here again next year as well. We look forward to staying with you again.

We stayed here during the winter last time, so this time we came in a different season. It was an amazing hotel as always!! This time, we also visited “Mokumoku-yu,” which we didn’t have enough time to go to on our previous trip. The water temperature was just right, and while the facilities feel a bit old, everything is clean, so we were able to relax and enjoy our time there. The activities vary by season as well. This time we joined the firefly viewing tour, and the guide explained everything carefully. We even had the very rare experience of having a firefly land on our hand. It seems to have become a wonderful memory for our children—they still bring it up sometimes even now. We’re truly glad we joined! The pool even has waves at times, and there are always several lifeguards on duty, so we can comfortably bring our kids with peace of mind. As for dining, Waiwai Grill was delicious as expected, and the shops along Piman Street had been updated—those were excellent too. Our family especially loved the cheese factory shop. The bakery that’s been there for years is consistently great as well. Thank you very much!

We visited as a family, and since only “MONday” was displayed prominently, we weren’t sure if we were at the right place. When we asked the staff, they responded politely and helpfully. Also, having separate entrances for the Onsen and the dining area was convenient and made it easy to switch between settings. The food was delicious as well.

I booked my first glamping stay to coincide with a meteor shower. During the BBQ, the staff came around and we enjoyed chatting, making it a really fun day. The creative options at the vegetable market, roasting marshmallows over the campfire, and stargazing were all amazing. Unfortunately we didn’t see any meteors, but we did get to watch a procession of deer in the middle of the night. However, it was far too cold at night and I couldn’t fall asleep, so warm clothing is essential in this season. I struggled a bit with making up the bed. Breakfast also turned out well.

It was my first trip to Mito in 20 years, but unfortunately it rained. Still, thanks to staying at this Hotel, I didn’t feel any inconvenience when it came to shopping or dining. At the front desk, there were 2–3 staff members who were quite unfriendly, and three who were very pleasant (a foreign staff member, a male staff member, and a young female staff member). So even if you happen to be helped by someone unfriendly, if another person assists you instead you can still feel well taken care of—so it’s fine. I stayed for two nights. On the first night I had a Room near the elevators on a day with many group guests. Since I’m a light sleeper, even small noises woke me up. When I spoke with the young female receptionist about it, she kindly reassigned me to another Room without any hassle. I really appreciated that. The Room was very spacious and had new facilities. Because it was raining, I spent a lot of time in the Room and found it very comfortable. Complimentary bottled water and tea bags were provided, but there was no coffee—since I like having coffee in my pajamas right after waking up, next time I’ll bring instant coffee myself. Also, there was only one sturdy pair of slippers suitable for going to the large public bath area inside the Hotel; next time I plan to bring disposable slippers as well. There was also an Accommodation guest–exclusive aperitivo at the restaurant. The selection, price, and service were all excellent—I was completely satisfied. Overall I was extremely satisfied and will stay here again next time!

This was my first stay with my 4th-grade daughter. Not only the Room, but also the floor and elevators had a ship theme. We had just come back from DisneySea, so we felt a little sad to leave it behind, but once we entered the Hotel, we could immerse ourselves in that atmosphere again, which was wonderful. The Room and beds were small, but for two women it was not a problem at all. The bathroom is also small, so if you are staying with a man, I think a different type of Room would be better. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of staples, main dishes, side dishes, and drinks, and everything was replenished quickly—it made for an enjoyable morning. The food was delicious and we could eat at a relaxed pace, so I’m glad we chose the plan with breakfast included.

It was very helpful that we were allowed to use the parking lot while exploring Mizuki Shigeru Road. The Room, the bath, and the meals were all great. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

Although the villas are connected in a row of three and ours was on the end, it was very quiet and we couldn’t hear any noise from next door at all. It’s a two-story villa, with two beds prepared in each of the two bedrooms. Since we were co-sleeping, a larger pet bed was also provided. Each room had its own sink and closet, and there was also a toilet on the second floor, so we were able to relax and take our time. Staying at Forest Villa during the Halloween season has become our family’s annual tradition! This is the most reasonably priced option compared to any other site. We haven’t used it yet, but there’s also a discount available through hometown tax donations (Furusato Nozei), so we’d like to try that someday. We look forward to staying again next year! I’ve stayed at four Mercure properties with my family so far, and honestly, this one was the best. The dinner selection felt more geared toward adults and wasn’t overly focused on fried foods; the tuna sashimi was exceptionally fresh, and there was a generous amount of eel—Shizuoka is the best. It’s a place you’ll definitely want to return to.

Because we had such a wonderful stay last year with my preschool-aged child, this year the three of us—including my husband—stayed again. On the first day, we played at Toy Kingdom nearby. We entered at 1:00 PM, and the park closed at 5:00 PM that day, so it felt like there wasn’t enough time to do everything. There were athletic activities, rides, and events as well, and we had a very fulfilling time. As for the dinner buffet, there were plenty of kid-friendly options again, so we were very satisfied! The roast beef, seasonal pasta (soy milk lemon), and Basque cheesecake were especially delicious. My child was thrilled to find sushi, hamburg steak, and straight-cut fries and ate until completely full. We were also surprised to see watermelon even though it was October—my child went back for seconds. The milk was tasty too; they drank a lot of it. During other times, we enjoyed the mystery-solving activity included in our plan as well as fireworks. Even inside the hotel we didn’t have enough time—we kept having strategy meetings like “What should we do next?” With one night including two meals for three people plus fireworks and Toy Kingdom tickets included in the plan, JPY 37,000 is an incredible value. At other hotels we often end up with nothing to do after check-in and spend time feeling bored, but here you can truly have a packed and enjoyable stay. Also, in August I booked through another site but had to cancel on the day due to my child not feeling well. When I called the hotel that morning, the front desk staff handled it very kindly. Thank you again for your help then. We will definitely stay again next year!

This was my fifth stay. The building feels a bit nostalgic, and that adds to the atmosphere—like a classic Resort Hotel where you can relax without putting on airs. My summer highlight is the outdoor pool. I can use the float I brought without any hesitation, so I just drift under the blue sky. Doing absolutely nothing by the pool is the best. We didn’t dine at the Hotel this time, but there are plenty of restaurants nearby, so it’s easy to go out for meals. Even on a Multiple Night Stay, it’s nice to be able to choose based on how you feel that day. And every time, what stands out is how friendly all the staff are. They greet you with a smile whenever you pass them in the building, which makes for a very pleasant stay. Their warmth—natural rather than formal—is one of the reasons I keep coming back to this Hotel. It’s not like a modern luxury Hotel; it’s a place with a nostalgic charm where you can truly unwind. This trip made for another wonderful summer vacation. I’ll be back again to relax.
