This was my first time staying here. I had no familiarity with the area and hadn’t planned where to eat, but thanks to the wonderful hospitality of all the staff, I was able to enjoy a comfortable stay. I will stay here again the next time I visit Maizuru. Thank you very much.

This year, we stayed overnight with our dog. It was his first time swimming in the sea, and we enjoyed a BBQ together as well. He happily ate plenty of chicken, pork, and beef. Seeing his big smile made us so happy. At bedtime, we put him in his crate as required, but he wouldn’t stop whining at first (asking to be let out), and we were worried about disturbing the neighboring tents. After turning off the lights and waiting a while, he finally settled down. We’re sorry about that. We’d love to visit again with our dog next time.

I stayed again on the breakfast-only Plan, and this is still a great value Hotel. It’s conveniently located with easy access, and there’s a convenience store and a gas station right next door. There is an in-house bath, but this time I chose the Plan that also includes access to the neighboring public bathhouse. It was clean and the baths were excellent. The breakfast was very satisfying and delicious, with udon and other local specialties. This time I also had dinner at a restaurant on the property, which offered a variety of Shikoku regional dishes, and I was pleased with it. If I have another chance to visit Kagawa, I would like to stay here again.

I stayed for one night. I chose this hotel because I was looking for a business hotel with free parking and a large public bath. My Room was a non-smoking single, and the size was fine. The amenities were well stocked, with a toothbrush, towels, and a yukata provided in the Room. In the women’s bath area, there were cotton pads, cotton swabs, a brush, toner, and lotion. There were hair dryers both in the bath area and in the Room. Whether it was the water or the shampoo, my hair felt very smooth. The water temperature was just right, so I could relax. The bath was available from 6:00 in the morning. There is an amenity buffet near the elevators where you can pick up extra items if needed. I also received a QUO card and was able to stay on a very good-value Plan. The staff were also very pleasant and helpful.

Although the building is old, it is very well cleaned and the hospitality is excellent, so I think this is an Accommodation you can be truly satisfied with. It was also fun and nostalgic to be able to contact the front desk using a telephone you don’t see these days—perhaps making good use of the property’s vintage charm. One small thing: the yukata brought to me because the size didn’t fit had a slight odor that concerned me a bit. That said, I may simply be overly sensitive. In any case, the service is outstanding, and every staff member provided wonderful hospitality. I was deeply impressed by their thoughtful attention to detail. By chance there was a festival that day and we were able to watch fireworks; they even told us the best viewing spot, which made it a great memory. Thank you very much. As for the meals, the rice was cooked perfectly and delicious. The side dishes were excellent as well, but especially how good the rice was stood out. One suggestion: if the green onions in the breakfast miso soup could be lightly cooked in advance, then warming it at the table would make it even tastier—I felt they sometimes didn’t cook through enough with table heating alone. Still, overall everything was extremely delicious. This is an Accommodation I will definitely want to stay at again when I visit Kaminoyama Onsen.

I stayed here with my daughter on a trip to Yamaguchi. We drove from Shin-Shimonoseki to the Ryokan by rental car. Right after arriving, we enjoyed the footbath, then the granite bath. After a walk around, we returned to the Ryokan for the open-air bath. After dinner, we used the bath in our Room. In the morning, we went to the hinoki-wood bath. After breakfast, we used the Room bath again. We really enjoyed all the Onsen. It may just have been how I felt, but when I woke up in the morning my fingers weren’t stiff like usual—maybe it was an Onsen effect. The food was delicious, the riverside scenery was beautiful, and there were few tourists, so it felt like a hidden gem. The staff at this Ryokan were also very welcoming and made it feel homey. The building showed its age, but that gave it character. The only disappointment was that the air conditioner in our Room didn’t cool well and it was uncomfortable. Maybe it’s an older unit? Also, there was a musty smell in the Room (different from sulfur) that bothered me. Still, I’d like to visit again if I have another chance, and if friends ask me for recommendations for a good Onsen getaway, this is an Accommodation I’d suggest.

I have stayed here more than five times.\nAlthough the building shows some minor wear, it is kept very clean.\nNear the lobby, you can choose from a selection of shampoo and conditioner, and an Onsen Facility is located next door. The Onsen includes bubble baths, a sauna, and an open-air bath, so you can really enjoy it.\nThere is also a small welcome drink near the elevators, so you can sit on the chairs across from the lobby and relax while looking outside.\nThe Room is fairly spacious, and even if you book No Meals Included, you can still dine at the restaurant on the second floor for around 1,000–2,000 yen.\nThere is also a microwave in the Hotel, so you can bring in food from outside. On the second floor there was an area with vending machines plus tables and chairs where you can heat food in the microwave and eat right away.\nIt’s not right in the city center, but it’s convenient—you can reach both Hiroshima City and Onomichi in under an hour.

I arrived feeling a bit uneasy because it was relatively inexpensive and a smoking Room. I checked in around 9:00 pm and was greeted with a smile. They clearly explained the bath, changing clothes, and breakfast. The entrance area felt spacious and luxurious. Other than a toothbrush and towels, you pick up whatever amenities you need at the amenity bar near the front desk, and you also borrow loungewear from shelves nearby. It looked like you could choose between yukata and jinbei. If you have a lot of luggage, this might be a bit of a hassle. It seemed they offered late-night soba from 9:00 to 9:30 pm, but I wasn’t very hungry so I didn’t use it. The elevator area and hallways are on the darker side, but it gives a calm atmosphere. Some Reviews mentioned odors, but I didn’t notice anything in particular. When I got to the Room, it was cleaner than I expected, and there was no noticeable smell. It felt like: two beds in a large Japanese-style room, futons in a smaller Japanese-style room, and one bed in a smaller Western-style room. The air conditioning worked well and kept us cool. Internet is available via both Wi‑Fi and wired LAN. Wi‑Fi tends to slow down when it’s crowded, but if you connect your own small wireless router to the wired LAN, it’s comfortable. The bathroom and toilet were separate, and both were kept clean. The toilet has an electronic bidet seat. Breakfast is buffet-style: Western options like bread rolls with sausages, nuggets, and egg dishes, and classic Japanese items like white rice with grilled fish, natto, and miso soup. You can drink Saza Coffee at the complimentary drink bar (no extra charge), and even take it back to your Room. Very nice! It’s close to Hitachi Seaside Park, so demand is high depending on the season, but if possible I’d like to stay here again next year.

The lounge was more affordable than expected, yet the quality was excellent—I really enjoyed it. It’s also conveniently located with easy access from Meieki Station, so I’d like to stay here again.

This was our first time staying here. The Room had a beautiful ocean view, and the location was excellent. We were also glad it came with a bath. What surprised us most was how delicious the food was. The sashimi was wonderful, and both the fish and meat dishes felt like high-end French cuisine. We chose a Japanese breakfast, which also impressed us with its variety and outstanding flavor. During our stay, there was a fireworks festival at Toi Coast, so we drove about 10 minutes to watch. We could also see a luxury cruise ship on the sea, making it a very memorable fireworks display. We would love to stay again if we have the chance.

I was traveling solo and had made a Reservation for a single Room, but it turned out to be a twin Room. There were baths in each building, so I went around to three different locations and really enjoyed it. Even on my own, I never got bored and had a comfortable stay. If I have the chance, I would like to stay here again.

Perhaps because it was the hot season, the Onsen was pleasantly uncrowded every time we went, which was wonderful! There were many types of baths, and we enjoyed them at a relaxed pace. The Room felt a bit dated and small, but we only needed it for sleeping. The staff were kind, and when we left we even received a handwritten thank-you letter—it truly warmed our hearts. I often use this Hotel for day-use stays.\nTrue to its name, Spa Vintage, the Facility interiors are stylish and refined. The authentic sauna and cold plunge pool are also excellent, leaving both body and mind refreshed.\nI also love that they regularly offer löyly sessions.\nThe restaurant is highly recommended as well, with a superb location where you can enjoy Kobe’s night views.

In this refined and beautiful space, I was able to spend a truly relaxing time. Most of all, I was deeply impressed by the single cold plunge bath—its crystal-clear chill felt wonderfully refreshing. The moment it wrapped around my heat-soaked body with a crisp coolness, everything seemed to sharpen vividly, and I experienced an exceptional sense of “totonoi.” I am also sincerely grateful for the warm hospitality of the staff. I will definitely return to enjoy this beautiful experience again.

We stayed here during the Obon holidays with our family and our dog. The Room felt a little small for four adults plus a dog, but the amenities were well stocked, everything was thoroughly cleaned, and we had a very comfortable stay. The grass in the dog run was also beautifully maintained, and our dog seemed to have a great time. Some Reviews mentioned concerns about the food, but they kindly accommodated our request as we are not fond of river fish, and the meals were actually delicious. There was a wide variety of dishes—so much so that we wished we had started dinner a bit earlier to enjoy even more. It seems the dining hall offers many other menu items besides what we had this time, so next time we would like to choose a Plan without meals and try various dishes there. All of the staff were very kind and handled everything with care even during the busy Obon period, which impressed us. It was a wonderful Accommodation that made us want to return for another family trip. Thank you very much for taking such good care of us.

About a 1.5-hour drive from central Sapporo, it’s the perfect distance to get away from everyday life, relax, and refresh. I have stayed here many times. The Onsen is spacious and very comfortable; above all, the water quality is wonderful, and the outdoor bath temperature is just right. I rated amenities one point lower because it was disappointing that there isn’t a bag for guests to carry towels and other items around. I also rated the Facility one point lower because while you can enjoy freshly brewed coffee from the coffee machine, I would personally be happy if there were cocoa or tea as well. The breakfast buffet is described as a “half buffet,” but there is more than enough variety, and I look forward to breakfast every time. The rice is especially delicious. The front desk staff are always very courteous, which I truly appreciate each time. I will be back again—thank you in advance.

I brought my elderly father, who loves Onsen but has difficulty walking. When I mentioned this at the time of Reservation, they prepared a Room right next to the elevator. I also requested a barrier-free Room, and it was spacious with handrails throughout. Even the tatami area was set up so he could relax comfortably in a chair, which made him very happy. The bath in our Room had 100% natural Onsen water flowing continuously 24 hours a day—it felt almost too luxurious. There was a step at the entrance to the tub, and the inside of the bath was slightly raised as well. A sturdy shower chair was provided, so I felt safe letting him bathe. Of course, he also enjoyed the large public bath with my husband. For dinner, a chef came to our Room and served freshly fried tempura and freshly grilled steak. Everything was truly delicious. The kamameshi rice was excellent too, and the portions were just right—we were completely satisfied. All of the staff were very kind. At check-in they helped us choose yukata together, and even though my father used a wheelchair that we borrowed there, one of the senior managers spoke warmly to him—he was deeply touched. This is a Hotel he visited many times with my late mother, and he spent two full days here looking genuinely happy. It meant so much to be able to do something special for him. Thank you very much.

From the moment you step inside the entrance, you can feel the relaxed atmosphere throughout the building. The layout of each area and the corridors are spacious, so there is no stress even when passing other guests. Both the Room and the bath were kept clean and well maintained, making this an Accommodation where we could rest with peace of mind. Some of the dining staff are international team members, but everyone provided comfortable and kind service. We chose the standard meal plan, which was just the right amount, but next time we would love to enjoy some additional menu items as well. It is also easily accessible from central Tokyo, making it a great Accommodation for enjoying seasonal nature.

A typhoon was approaching and the weather looked rainy, but it didn’t rain much, and we were able to see a wonderful sunset from the restaurant. The view from the large public bath was also amazing. The meals, made with ingredients from Wakayama, were all delicious. It was disappointing that we couldn’t watch Netflix or Amazon Prime in the room (the internet didn’t seem to connect) and that the shuttle bus service has been discontinued, but everything else was great. I’d like to stay again. Thank you very much.

As a woman staying one night, I made a same-day Reservation for the Hotel’s last available Room—a smoking single. Because the price was low, I was worried it might not be great, but the Room was clean, didn’t smell, and the Facility were well equipped, which made me very happy. What pleased me most was breakfast the next morning. I overslept and arrived right before closing when no other guests were there, but the staff kindly asked if I wanted refills of rice or miso soup, which meant a lot to me. I ordered a Japanese set meal, and it was delicious—I was very satisfied. The value for money was excellent, and I’d like to stay again. When I visit Chitose again, I will definitely use this Hotel. I also had coffee at the front desk the next morning—it was tasty—and when I left, the receptionist told me to take care as well. Thank you very much.
