In-room dining and a private open-air bath in the Room made it a completely private space. The meals were delicious. This Accommodation was great for families with small children, as you can relax and enjoy your stay without worrying about others. It was a bit difficult to do makeup, so having a handheld mirror would be helpful.

Both the Room and the Onsen are wonderful, and the staff and the proprietress are warm and welcoming—every visit is truly relaxing.

The staff’s attentive hospitality and thoughtful care were truly wonderful, and I was able to spend a very comfortable stay from check-in to check-out. The interior of the property and the room features a calm Japanese-modern design in greige tones, with impeccable taste in decor. It was exactly my kind of style, so I found myself simply gazing around and feeling soothed. The rooftop lounge offered an abundant selection of juices, alcoholic drinks, coffee, Atami’s famous sweets, and light snacks. I couldn’t believe I could choose so freely—can I really have any of these?—and I got genuinely excited. Sipping drinks, enjoying sweets, soaking in the foot bath… it was such a luxurious time taking in the views of Atami. The staff also maintained the perfect level of attentiveness—providing towels to dry our feet and preparing drinks—so considerate in every way. I’m truly grateful. What especially impressed me was the full-course dinner. Each dish was beautifully presented—not only a feast for the eyes—but also had deep flavors with sauces crafted down to the finest detail. I was genuinely moved. Even now, looking back at my photos brings back that lingering feeling: how beautiful it was and how delicious everything tasted. Everything—the room, the meals, and the hospitality—was perfect. It was a place where I could truly refresh from the heart. I feel fully recharged; I’ll do my best day by day and hope to return again someday. Thank you very much.

Just as the concierge explained, this hotel is truly made for staying in and enjoying, and we had a wonderful time. In particular, soaking in the footbath at a relaxed pace during magic hour was simply irreplaceable. The meals were excellent—a truly authentic French dinner, and breakfast as well, with flavors that fully lived up to expectations. The next morning, when I asked at the front desk about souvenirs, they immediately checked not only the shop name but even the current stock availability, and I could genuinely feel their outstanding professional hospitality. My spouse and I stayed for one night. It would have been even better if our Room had a sofa, but the bath was indoors and an Onsen, already filled for us. The staff member who guided us also provided a thorough and helpful explanation. The meals were wonderful both dinner and breakfast, and we truly felt pampered. Since we dined in a private room, we couldn’t eat while looking out at the sea, which was the only disappointment. We have stayed at many Hotels, but this had the best food of all. We happened to visit Shimonoseki this time and found this Hotel by chance, but next time we will travel specifically to stay here.

I traveled with my daughter, and we had a wonderfully relaxing time. The meals featured many local Nikko ingredients, were beautifully presented, and were delicious—we were very satisfied. Since we used a private dining room, we could enjoy ourselves without worrying about other guests. The baths also offered a variety of ReFa showerheads and hair dryers, so I ended up trying several. The staff’s smiles were wonderful, and their courteous service was truly soothing. Thoughtful touches—such as bottled water in the room, stickers for the slippers, and drinks after bathing—were attentive down to the smallest details. We will definitely visit again.

The hotel’s location was wonderful, and we thoroughly enjoyed the pool. The ocean-view open-air bath felt incredibly spacious and refreshing. We could relax anywhere on the property and truly enjoy a blissful stay. With drinks stocked in the refrigerator and so many thoughtful services, we were completely satisfied. Dinner was served at a stylish restaurant where we savored delicious Italian cuisine. The staff were friendly and attentive, making us feel very comfortable. We also appreciated that they changed our table between dinner and breakfast so we could dine from the best seats—such a thoughtful touch. It wasn’t too far from Kumamoto City either, and we’d love to come back again.

I had a very pleasant stay. All of the staff were extremely courteous, and the restaurant team in particular was attentive to each guest and kindly took care of us. Not only the room but also the hallways and other areas throughout the property were well maintained and spotlessly clean. Thanks to the warm hospitality and comfortable environment, I was able to relax and enjoy my time here. I would like to stay again if I have the opportunity.

After enjoying canoeing in Kushiro, we arrived and were immediately impressed by the spacious, beautiful entrance. The lobby, centered around an irori hearth, felt wonderfully open and soothing with its charming design. Every member of the staff was truly welcoming, making our stay relaxing and comfortable. The milk soft-serve and milk were rich and flavorful, and the morning daifuku and ozenzai were also delicious. This is our number one Accommodation we’d love to visit again.

I stayed for two nights to fully enjoy Nasu. I had stayed here once a long time ago, and even though more than 10 years had passed, I was surprised when the front desk said, “We previously noted that you don’t have any allergies.” I truly appreciated such thoughtful attention to detail. The meals are simple but very delicious, and I was especially satisfied with breakfast. This is an inn I would love to stay at again.

Although it was a small ryokan that accommodates only a few guests, it was a very quiet, comfortable place with a traditional Japanese atmosphere. The staff were also very attentive. I was especially impressed by how wonderful the meals were, and I really liked the tastefully chosen tableware as well.

The breathtaking view of Lake Kanna from the room. The beautifully designed private bath. It was a truly soothing and relaxing inn. The ornaments and decorations placed throughout showed thoughtful attention to detail, and everyone, including the staff, treated us with great care and courtesy. This was our first stay here. We’re grateful for this wonderful discovery—and we now have one more place we’d love to return to.

It’s a bit far from Tokyo, but I’m truly glad we stayed here! The property was very clean, and the lounge had plenty of drinks—my excitement started the moment we arrived. For dinner, we ordered horse sashimi and a three-sake tasting set separately, and it was amazing. Highly recommended. Breakfast was also delicious across the board. The Onsen was relaxing since it was always empty whenever we went (not just the private one), and we were also able to use the baths at a larger affiliated Hotel, which made us very satisfied. The Room was comfortable, and I slept soundly. Above all, the warm hospitality from all the staff made us feel at ease. We’ll definitely be back again. Thank you for taking such great care of us.

We stayed here on the middle day of a three-day holiday weekend. This wonderful inn exceeded every “I wish it were like this” and “It would be nice if they had this,” and within minutes of arriving I was already thinking, “I want to come back!” [Service / Facilities / Baths] Everyone who assisted us was warm and courteous, and we were able to relax in a calm, welcoming atmosphere. The room and the entire property were very clean, with tasteful ornaments and seasonal decorations throughout—such a lovely space. The amenities provided in the room and baths also reflected thoughtful attention to detail; you could really feel the staff’s care in having things that make guests think, “This is exactly what I needed.” Both the indoor bath and open-air bath could be reserved for private use, so we were able to unwind completely. The changing area was spotless, and the water temperature was perfect. When I headed to the indoor bath right after check-in, I was impressed—the mirrors gleamed, the faucets gleamed; everything was impeccably cleaned. [Meals] Both dinner and breakfast were absolutely delicious. Highlights included a rich, velvety pumpkin potage; grated yam topped with soy-marinated egg yolk; whole char that was delicious down to the last bite; gently flavored vinegared dishes; chestnut rice with clear soup, and more. The yuba (tofu skin) and Japanese pepper were also excellent. We upgraded the main dish to wagyu beef—it was tender with a melt-in-your-mouth texture. For breakfast, the rice cooked in an earthenware pot was fluffy and glossy—I ended up having multiple refills. Everything—from teriyaki yellowtail to sesame tofu, miso soup, colorful vegetables with homemade dressing—was delicately seasoned with comforting flavors, and all of it was wonderful. This is a truly special inn where you can feel genuine hospitality everywhere. We’ve traveled to many places before, but this is somewhere we definitely want to return to—an inn that made me feel grateful to be Japanese. Thank you very much for taking such great care of us.

We had a wonderful time in a very clean room with excellent facilities. The meal was also delicious—a meat-themed kaiseki course that felt refreshingly different from typical ryokan cuisine. The location, in the Higashiyama area, was another highlight, making it easy to explore around Kiyomizu-dera in the morning.

I’d been wanting to stay here, and I truly enjoyed it in great spirits. It was a calm and happy stay. The books in the Room were wonderful, too! I was also very pleased with the various perks at Moegi no Mura!

With my husband’s birthday coming up the next day, we decided to stay here to celebrate with delicious seafood. Last time we visited in early summer and the sea urchin was amazing, and this time we laughed while talking about how it might be bonito and Pacific saury now. The meals were truly outstanding. Of course the seafood was wonderful, but above all, the rice was glossy and perfectly cooked—just incredible. I usually like putting side dishes on top or mixing things into my rice, but this rice made me want to enjoy it as-is just for its flavor. Also, the simmered “harmonica” fish was exquisite. I honestly think it’s No. 1 among simmered fish dishes. The large public bath isn’t very big, so I chose times when it wouldn’t be crowded and enjoyed it on my own. We were also happy to receive a tasty complimentary treat for his birthday—thank you very much. One small disappointment: the sweets in the room weren’t Gotto. Next time I’d love to have them again—and I’m already thinking about our next visit.

This is a hotel that never changes—always full of warm hospitality. As I’ve grown older along with the hotel, my schedule during stays has become more relaxed, and having Brighton as a place where I can truly unwind lets me enjoy Kyoto while properly recovering from the day’s fatigue. This time, Daitoku-ji and Ninna-ji were wonderful, and the concierge also recommended the Former Mitsui Family Shimogamo Villa and a nearby restaurant. To the north of the hotel, there are many places that feel quintessentially Kyoto. I also stay at hotels in Europe such as Paris and Florence, but this mid-sized hotel has a unique sense of comfort—so much so that I extended my stay by one night this time. The bell staff’s warmth is always outstanding as well. It’s my favorite hotel.

Needless to say, the Facility, amenities, and meals were wonderful—but above all, the hospitality was outstanding! From arrival to check-out, we received truly exceptional service. We chose this Accommodation mainly to visit Inuyama Castle, but next time we want to stay here as the main purpose of our trip. Thank you very much for everything.
