This time, I stayed for the first time. There was information that the dinner was good, and I stayed with expectations, but I was very satisfied beyond what I imagined. The service was very good, and I had a pleasant stay. The bath and toilet washroom are shared, but even taking that into account, I would like to stay again next year.

I used it for the first time. I got a little lost on the way to the Stays. After arriving, I was taken care of by a person with a wonderful smile, and we had a lively conversation. The overall atmosphere is calm. The meals were all delicious, filled with the chef's special touches. They also changed ingredients for allergies and confirmed before serving, which made me feel at ease. It is a Property I would like to visit again.

We visited with a group of 7 for a motorcycle touring trip. Upon arrival, the hostess quickly came out to guide us to the parking area, showing thoughtful consideration for the noise. She promptly guided us to our room and provided a brief explanation of the facilities, allowing us to relax in no time. The bath has three shower stations, but as long as everyone doesn't go at once, it’s not inconvenient. It was available 24 hours, so we could enjoy it multiple times—after arrival, before bed, and in the morning—which was great. The highlight was dinner: an array of freshly prepared fish dishes including sashimi, simmered fish, grilled fish, and fried fish that paired perfectly with beer and sake! The finishing touch of tsumire soup was exceptional. However, two members in their 40s-50s couldn’t finish their portions—a rare occurrence—and we apologize to the hostess for this mishap! After dinner, we used the refrigerator in the hallway and enjoyed drinks in our room with plenty of ice provided. Overindulging led us straight to bed until breakfast greeted us—a satisfying lineup of side dishes accompanied by delicious rice that had everyone going back for seconds! Despite some areas still requiring repairs from earthquake damage (e.g., walls), we appreciated how well-maintained and clean everything was throughout the accommodation. Overall feedback from all members is that this is an excellent accommodation with high satisfaction levels. We look forward to visiting again when your sushi plan resumes!

I used this place for a reunion, and the sunset view from the Room was truly beautiful. The next morning, the weather was great, and the ocean view was stunning. The staff who assisted us responded to numerous requests and questions with kindness and without hesitation. The food was not only delicious but also included thoughtful touches like ice cream service, which made it very satisfying. The bathwater was quite hot (personal preference), and I thought having curtains in the changing area would be even better, but everything felt clean overall. The beautiful scenery and delicious food became truly memorable experiences. Thank you very much!

We stayed as a couple. The nostalgic Room made us feel like we were back at home, allowing us to relax. We also enjoyed a leisurely bath. Above all, the breakfast was incredibly delicious. We would love to stay again.

Upon entering the Room, I couldn't help but exclaim, "Wow, so lovely!" The tatami edge patterns were adorable, and thoughtful touches could be felt throughout. The meals were especially satisfying with generous portions and absolutely delicious flavors. The private family bath was fantastic with its silky smooth water, allowing for a truly relaxing experience. After enjoying breakfast and returning to the Room, I was delighted to find the futon neatly folded. The cheerful and adorable children added a warm and homely touch. Thank you very much!

The location near Kiyomizu-Gojo Station was very convenient, and it was a big help that they could store our luggage on the day of arrival. The Ryokan staff and employees were also very friendly and welcoming, which made a great impression. Dinner was a light kaiseki course, but it was just right for women—luxurious and delicious—and we enjoyed it at a relaxed pace in a private room. We were very satisfied with both breakfast and dinner at this price. We would love to stay again.

We stayed as a couple in a whole Samurai residence accommodation. The comfortable distance with the staff made us feel at home. They were friendly and considerate, allowing us to relax completely. The food was especially outstanding! The dishes, prepared by Mr. A, a former chef of Tokyo Prince Hotel who also served for the Imperial Household Agency, were truly delightful—thank you so much! Located near Matsubara Castle, it was convenient for sightseeing on foot. A fulfilling trip and highly recommended accommodation!

We found this Accommodation while looking for a place that serves meals in your Room. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious! The day before our stay was our child’s birthday, so we asked if you could prepare a cake, and you kindly agreed. It became a truly memorable day—thank you so much! The staff even sang along with us, and we are deeply grateful for everyone’s warmth. As it is an older Accommodation, there were some noises that we noticed at times, but the hospitality was wonderful, and we are very glad we stayed. The private family bath was also spacious and very relaxing!

The proprietress and staff were very kind, and we were extremely satisfied. My husband mentioned that a female staff member (perhaps) who walked over from the parking lot early in the morning greeted us properly, which made him feel very welcome. Dinner was excellent—the Kurokaba beef steak was absolutely delicious. My husband said he especially enjoyed the sliced raw carp, yamame trout sashimi, Kurokaba beef shabu-shabu, and the overnight-dried yamame trout at breakfast. We also used the private Onsen in our Room four times, and our skin felt wonderfully smooth. It was a truly satisfying stay. Thank you very much.

Dinner was served in the Room, and the sashimi was fresh and delicious, with a sweetness that highlighted the quality of the fish. The boiled octopus, seasoned simply with salt, was tender and flavorful. However, it was disappointing that the bathroom in the Room had a strong unpleasant smell, possibly from not being used for a long time. Next time, I would love to try fugu in winter!

I usually stay in hotels as I am not a fan of camping or glamping, but this time I had no issues at all. Although I was initially concerned about the restroom and bath being separate, they were very close by, so it wasn't a problem. However, it might be slightly challenging for families with small children. The staff were extremely flexible and accommodating, which I greatly appreciated. While we originally planned to eat outside, we ended up ordering pizza and pasta from the on-site café and had them delivered to our room. The pizza was much larger than expected and very satisfying. We ordered peperoncino pasta as well; it was a bit spicy, so it might not be suitable for children. Since it was winter, the wind from the lake made it slightly cold, but visiting during a more pleasant season could make the experience even better. The sound of the water surface was soothing throughout our stay. Thank you for your kindness! We look forward to visiting again in the future. The Onsen could be reserved depending on availability; during our visit, we were able to enjoy private use of it. One minor concern: while walking around at night near the cabin area, some bare tree branches came close to my face which felt a bit scary. It might be harder for children to notice such things—addressing this could ensure greater safety moving forward!

This was my first time staying here. The road leading to the Hotel (Lodge) is quite steep. While it wasn’t an issue for our home, certain cars might struggle. The road is narrow, and the broken curve mirror made it a bit inconvenient to check around corners. Considering the price, the Room, meals, and service were satisfactory; however, my wife was disappointed that there was no salad bar as shown in the Hotel's promotional images. On a positive note, even though the sink, toilet, and bath were shared facilities, they were clean and very well-maintained. Please ensure that all images and information about the Hotel are kept up-to-date regularly.

Within walking distance of Toshogu Shrine, the location is excellent. The free shuttle bus was also convenient. Since the Facility is old, I would rate the guest rooms and Facility 3 stars; the bath 4 stars because we could also use Senhime. The meals were plentiful and tasty, and the staff were kind. Considering the cost as well, overall satisfaction is 5 stars.

The owner of the Accommodation seems deeply devoted to the Onsen and handed me an Onsen analysis sheet at the front desk—something I’d never experienced before. The main rock bath had a wonderful atmosphere and there were three tubs, but all of them were too hot for me to soak in. I barely managed to get into the deep bath at the front for about 10 seconds a few times. I understand the desire for guests to enjoy the free-flowing natural hot spring water, but it was a bit intense for me. On the other hand, I really enjoyed the smaller gourd-shaped bath and went in three times. The meals were modest but more than enough, and especially the soba was delicious. The toilet in my Room was modern and comfortable. The building is very spacious and must be difficult to maintain, but I hope they will continue doing well for many years to come.

The Room and bathroom were clean, and there were no particular inconveniences. Dinner and breakfast were served in a private dining room on the first floor with a spacious table that comfortably accommodated our family of five. It was very comfortable, and the meals were absolutely delicious! They also provided a high chair and separate plates for children upon request. The front desk offered various board games for rent, but when we tried to borrow one before leaving, we were told rentals weren't available on departure day. We regretted not borrowing them the day before. Even with small children, we had a comfortable stay. Thank you for your hospitality!

We stayed with two families and found the space and layout to be more than sufficient. The single-story design is reassuring for families with small children. We were especially satisfied with the well-equipped amenities, including a washing machine and coffee maker. There were enough towels in the room for everyone, and we appreciated having unlimited access to the Onsen. [To the Facility] Since we visited after playing in the snow nearby, it would be even more convenient if there were hanger racks to dry our wearables and shoe trays to dry shoes indoors. Additionally, there were only large deep plates available; having some smaller ones would be nice. It would also be helpful if you could include a floor plan of the room and a list of amenities on your website so that guests can better prepare their stay.
