The Room was clean, and the front desk staff were friendly. However, the toilet and washbasin felt uncomfortably close—like in a studio apartment. That said, dinner was excellent, so overall it was a satisfying stay. The portion size, quality, and atmosphere were all great.

With fewer guests, I was able to enjoy a relaxing soak in the lukewarm radium Onsen. Meals were served at the restaurant, likely due to the large number of day-trip group visitors. While some dishes, like the okra tempura, were a bit too hard, overall they were delicious. We chose a slightly small Japanese-style room for our stay; however, my elderly mother would have appreciated having a chair. Although there were moments where staff shortages seemed apparent, our requests were accommodated and we had an overall satisfying stay at this accommodation.

I recently stayed here with my parents. Since it’s my father’s hometown, we invited some relatives for dinner. Thanks to the thoughtful surprise by the hostess, the dinner became a lively and festive occasion. Thank you so much! The Onsen was popular among locals, giving it a warm and community-centered atmosphere. The Room was well-maintained and clean. It would be nice to have a refrigerator in the Room. Also, I felt that the sink area could be a bit more spacious for women—though it might be just right for men. Looking forward to staying here again!

We stayed here for a family trip during the Obon holidays.\nIt felt like a private villa, and it was wonderful.\nHowever, it rained, so the barbecue didn’t really pick up.\nI think we would have enjoyed it even more if the weather had been better.

The meals—especially the BBQ dinner—were delicious. The Maeda beef steak was outstanding. Since we stayed at the Super Premium Site, it was convenient that we could drive directly onto the site. The spacious grounds also made our dogs very happy; seeing them run around excitedly was truly satisfying. It felt like a luxurious private dog run experience. The beds inside the tent were also extremely comfortable. The large public bath in the clubhouse was fairly standard, but I appreciated the free massage chair in the changing room. One downside was that although there is an air cooler and a fan inside the tent, they didn’t work effectively at all. (It was comfortable from sunset until early morning, but during summer daytime it felt like a greenhouse—unbearable!) I recommend staying outside the tent during the day. It was also very inconvenient that there is no toilet on-site; if you see this as part of embracing outdoor inconveniences (no toilet, no refrigerator, no air conditioning, etc.), then it might be acceptable—but if you advertise it as a Super Premium Site, I honestly wish basic comfort (at least a toilet and heating/cooling) were provided. (Especially given that it wasn’t cheap.) There is a small cabin on the site with air conditioning and it was wonderfully cool, but it’s so small and empty that I did wonder whether it makes sense to pay such a high rate only to spend most of your time in that cabin… After check-in there isn’t really anywhere else cool within the site, so you end up taking refuge in this cabin, staying in your car with A/C on, or going to the clubhouse… Since the tent itself is so lovely, it would have been ideal if we could have spent most of our time comfortably inside it. I also strongly felt how convenient it would be if there were a toilet inside that air-conditioned cabin. Since you have to walk to the clubhouse restroom each time, you need to keep reminding yourself to go before it becomes urgent. (Waiting until your limit might be tough!) Unfortunately we couldn’t see the starry sky at night because of bad weather—it was disappointing—but I’d love to come back for another try next time, aiming for a more comfortable season! All staff members were very kind and made our stay pleasant. Thank you very much.

I visited here as a child, and the exterior hasn’t changed. It’s an old building, but the inside is very well cleaned and everything was spotless—especially the wooden hallways, which were shiny everywhere. The Onsen baths—the semi-open-air cave-style bath and the family bath with plenty of yunohana—were very hot, and I personally couldn’t get in without adding cold water. The large public bath was just slightly on the hot side. The meals were reasonably tasty—a typical mountain Ryokan menu with a bit more wild vegetables than usual. The grilled fish with soba miso in the photo was especially delicious. Because of the antenna, TV reception wasn’t good, so I’d really like this to be fixed. I heard this Ryokan has been operating for over 400 years, and I hope it continues for many years to come.

A peaceful Onsen Accommodation tucked away in the mountains. The silky-smooth hot spring water was wonderful. The old building has been renovated and feels clean, and the meals were delicious—I’d definitely like to visit again. However, the road to the Accommodation is a narrow single-lane route, so it may not be suitable for large vehicles or guests who are not confident drivers. There are also many stairs inside and outside the building, so it may not be ideal for elderly guests or anyone with mobility concerns.

Excellent access to the Shiga-Kusatsu Road. The Room was spacious and relaxing. The Onsen was very pleasant. The staff were kind and made us feel at ease.

We ended up staying an extra two nights after the Nagaoka Fireworks. The location is very convenient for street food in Teradomari, fishing at the fishing port, and nearby beaches. The Facility itself is new and clean. The parking instructions were a bit hard to understand, but there is also parking in front of the Facility, and it seems fine to park there. The bath is not an Onsen, but if you look around, there are plenty of hot springs nearby. Highly recommended for international guests as well. We would love to stay again!

Stayed for one night from a weekday to the day before a holiday. Both the building and the Room had a classic feel, but it was comfortable. Above all, the rice at breakfast was delicious. I ate various meals after this as well, but this was the best. The aroma and moisture level were perfect.

This was my first stay. The front desk staff were very courteous. There were complimentary drinks on the first floor, and the ice-cold draft beer was excellent. The Room was spacious and had a massage chair, so I could relax, but I couldn’t adjust the air conditioning—when I tried to operate it, it turned off. I filled the in-room Onsen right away and enjoyed a very pleasant bath, but my parent, who has difficulty walking, said the step was high and felt scary. Since everything is flat around it, I thought a handrail would make it safer. I understand this may be difficult as it is not barrier-free. I was looking forward to dinner. Everything was delicious, including salt-grilled ayu and chicken hot pot, and even the white rice was excellent. The children’s lunch plate was also generous in portion size, and my child happily bit into a big fried shrimp. However, there was one thing that concerned me. My child’s dessert (a mousse-like item topped with fruit) that came with the lunch plate was taken away partway through for some reason. Since I happened to be on the phone at that moment, I wondered why. After that, as if nothing had happened, the removed dessert was served to an adult instead, and jelly was placed for my child. I assumed it had been a mistake, but I believe an explanation should have been given. Taking something once served to one person and then serving it to someone else seems inappropriate etiquette-wise. At the very least, some explanation when bringing out the jelly for my child would have been appreciated. Overall it is a wonderful Accommodation; only the dinner service response bothered me. Thank you very much.

I stayed here while snow was gently falling. It was a huge help that they stored my luggage both before and after check-in. I stayed in Room 203. It’s a room with a balcony overlooking the garden. The room was very spacious, with a latest-model TV, a ReFa showerhead, a wide vanity, and a bathtub with a washing area. The toilet was fully automatic as well—everything was excellent. All amenities were MIKIMOTO. My hair usually feels rough when I use Hotel shampoo, but at this Accommodation it stayed smooth and silky. There is an guests-only lounge, and it was a lovely service that coffee, tea, and more were available freely until midnight. I also appreciated being able to take drinks back to my Room. I had coffee at check-in, and it matched my taste perfectly—really delicious. The breakfast I had been looking forward to was 100/100. I’ve eaten at luxury Hotels before, but this may have been the best I’ve ever had. Everything was wonderful, but what especially stood out were the yuzu-scented okara (unohana), fu dengaku, the white-dashi miso soup, and the dashimaki tamago (rolled omelet). When I mentioned it was my birthday this time, they decorated the guest room beautifully and even offered matcha—such thoughtful hospitality. All staff members were incredibly kind, with such a warm and homey atmosphere that made it easy to talk to them. Watching how warmly they treated other guests also made me feel happy. I think this is the best Accommodation—one that welcomes you warmly whether it’s for a special occasion or not. Next time I visit, I’ll come specifically to enjoy an unhurried Hotel stay. We stayed here for our summer family trip to visit Aquas! The Room and Facility were clean, stylish, and relaxing. The meals were delicious, and we also appreciated the free drinks! The kids enjoyed the pool and fireworks, and at night we even saw shooting stars. We made wonderful memories!

The front desk staff were very helpful. The Room and bathtub were both spacious, and I was able to relax a lot. It was very convenient since the adjacent shopping center has most of what you need. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. It would have been even better if tea had been available instead of water, and if there had been dessert. Breakfast was also good.

Although the building has a charming, old-fashioned feel, it was thoroughly cleaned and we had a comfortable stay. The Onsen is on the lukewarm side, but it truly is a skin-beautifying bath! Being able to bathe 24 hours a day is also very appealing. We stayed with our pet, and the cage provided was a large size and very convenient to use. We’d love to come back again next year.

This was my second visit, and the meals were still delicious. The Onsen was clean, and I could relax and enjoy it at my own pace.
