Last year, I invited some friends and stayed here, and this year we were able to visit again around the same time because they really wanted to come back. I have visited several times for family events, and we were welcomed with the same warm smiles as always. The delicious, heartfelt meals, the well-kept and comfortable Room, and the bath that felt truly refreshing made for a wonderful stay. It’s already on our schedule for next year too—we’re looking forward to it. Thank you very much.

The building itself is old, but the Room has been renovated and is very clean. The cleaning was thorough, and the bathroom and toilet are separate, making it a good choice for those who dislike unit baths. Although it was a smoking Room with no non-smoking option, the guest Room did not smell of smoke as much as expected. However, the hallway had a strong smell of tobacco, which might be difficult for those sensitive to it. There is a large public bath, sauna, and stone sauna available, which would be especially appreciated during colder seasons. The parking lot is spacious enough, and there’s a convenience store and gas station nearby for added convenience. If I visit Niigata again, I would love to stay here. Thank you!

I stayed for 2 nights with No Meals Included. I had a very comfortable stay. I was happy that the women’s large public bath had a ReFa shower head, and the Room amenities were well stocked, which was very helpful. There were also laundry facilities in several areas, making them easy to use.

This time, I stayed at the long-admired Imperial Hotel with my mother. She used to love hiking and once climbed the Hotaka mountain range, and she told me that she and her friends talked about how they wanted to stay here someday. Her wish finally came true, and she was absolutely delighted. We were very satisfied to see Hotaka from our Room balcony. The Room was spotless and very comfortable. The staff were kind and carefully explained the route to Kappa Bridge. The restaurant was fully booked for dinner, but when we said we would browse the souvenir shop, they kindly came to let us know as soon as a table became available. This time, we were on a waiting list, and luckily a cancellation opened up so we were able to stay. On the way home, my mother and I kept saying, “Let’s come again.” We would love to visit again.

The Room allowed smoking, but it was very clean and had no smell at all. There was no noise from outside; the only sound I could hear was the refrigerator motor near the pillow, so I was able to spend my time quietly. If you go by car, the parking lot is spacious, and it is conveniently located right next to a main road. It was excellent.

I stayed for two nights. Overall it was good, but I was disappointed that the in-room slippers were so thin they tore easily (though I was given a new pair). Also, I was on the 8th floor, and it was inconvenient to go down to the 4th floor first and then take a different elevator up to the 18th floor to use the bath. The view was great and overall it was good. Thank you.

This is our favorite Accommodation, which we visit as a family about twice a year. The sunset views from the Room and the Onsen are wonderful, and above all, the meals are generous in portion and delicious! Some parts of the Facility show their age, but that also creates a warm, relaxing atmosphere. We highly recommend this Accommodation.

I had used this Hotel a couple of times before for day use, but staying overnight was truly something special. The tower view was wonderful—you can see not only what’s right below you, but the entire panorama clearly. In a good way, it was different from the photos. And since I always chose a Room with a tower view, it might even have been the same Room as in my memories… I was so happy. As this is a historic Hotel, there are some older Facilities, but the comfort more than made up for it. Even though it’s high-class, having a microwave in the elevator hall felt very thoughtful—there must be many business travelers as well! I was also surprised by how many ingredients were in the fried rice at the Chinese restaurant, and the terrace projection mapping—and breakfast… The taste, variety, and uniqueness were all on another level. I made new memories and would love to visit again. Thank you very much.

This was my first stay at Vessel Hotel Inn Fukuyama Station North Exit, but Vessel Hotel is one of my favorite Hotels. I had another comfortable stay this time as well. The Room was clean, spacious, and very pleasant, and I was completely satisfied with the breakfast! The staff were kind and welcoming too. Fukuyama Castle as seen from the Room was wonderful both during the day and at night. I would love to stay again if I have the chance. Thank you very much.

Japanese-style double Room with breakfast and dinner included. I also requested a pick-up from Yamagata Station. On the way back, I took the bus to Yamagata Station from the Zao Onsen Bus Terminal, just a few minutes’ walk away. I arrived early, but was able to leave my luggage and explore freely. The staff member who assisted me felt unexpectedly curt, which seemed different from the Reviews. The person who showed me to my Room also didn’t seem to notice a fairly large dead insect right by the door when it was opened. That was disappointing. I was very satisfied with the Room, meals, and baths. The entire building is covered with tatami mats and you take off your shoes, which feels great, and everything was well maintained. All staff were pleasant in both their service and greetings. Since the baths switch between men and women, you can use both areas; I enjoyed the warm feel of wood and traditional atmosphere. Some Reviews said it was small, but as a woman I didn’t find it cramped since there weren’t too many people using it at once. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious—I finished everything. The Yamagata beef shabu-shabu was truly excellent. There is a portable air conditioner in the Room (I think), but because its duct runs out through the window, the top of the window doesn’t close completely tight; I couldn’t help noticing that gap. I saw a similar setup in the lounge as well, so I assumed it’s installed as a measure against summer heat. There is no elevator—only stairs—which I actually liked very much. Around this time of year we could hear spring cicadas (maybe), which was soothing. From the entrance you can see a gentle slope leading down to the main road, along with steam rising from the Onsen—an impressive location. It’s a small but comfortable Accommodation with a warm atmosphere—thank you very much.

I used this Accommodation when returning home so as not to burden my elderly parents. Even during the summer vacation period, we were able to stay in 4 Rooms for 4 people for just over JPY 30,000 (Point Discount). Despite the bargain price, my Room was properly cleaned and I had a comfortable stay. There was a solid desk and a couch with just the right height and firmness, plus an outlet and USB power right next to them, making it easy to eat a light meal or get some work done. However, my daughter’s Room had a sweaty smell coming from the air conditioner, so she turned it off and slept while enduring the heat. I was too busy to go check the situation. It also seemed that sports teams were staying there as well, and we could hear voices talking in the hallway. I found it pleasant, but it seemed tough for my daughter. It looks like their Room was next door… The large public bath on the first floor was clean, and my daughter used it twice—at night and in the morning. I was too tired to go. Breakfast was also very satisfying overall, and the serving area was generally kept clean. We took seats by the window at the back, but crumbs and spilled food were left on the rearmost seat area; since there were no cleaning cloths available, my daughter and husband moved to another table. I didn’t notice because I sat closer to the front. For that reason, I reduced one star in my category ratings. Next time I plan to apply for parking earlier as well, and would like to stay here again.

The Hotel was easy to find, and the staff were very helpful. The French toast at breakfast was especially delicious. The view from the window was also great. The bathroom sink area felt a bit small. It would have been even better if there were a small shelf or table to place a pouch or toiletries. I appreciated having drinks available 24 hours a day, and the price was affordable. I would like to stay here again if I have the chance.

I was worried about the heat, but the temperature dropped at just the right time, making for a very pleasant stay. There was no mention of it at check-in, but it seems our Room was upgraded, and I was truly impressed by how spacious and beautiful it was. The afternoon tea and breakfast were also excellent, and we were very satisfied. All of the staff were extremely kind, so we could stay comfortably. I definitely want to stay here again. This Accommodation is a day-use Onsen Facility with lodging, overlooking the satoyama landscape of Okuizumo. Thank you for letting us stay at a very reasonable rate as part of the “Special Room Grand Reopening Commemorative” offer. The Room was clean and comfortable. The refrigerator was well stocked with complimentary drinks such as beer, chu-hi, sake, and tea. There was also a coffee machine with plenty of coffee beans provided—perfect for coffee lovers. The open-air bath is not very open, but it is free-flowing from the source. However, since the source temperature is low at 29°C, it was disappointing that hot water needs to be added. Because it was hot in July, we mostly bathed using the source water as-is. When I returned to the air-conditioned Room I felt chilly at first, but afterward my body warmed up from the core. The large public bath was far from the Special Room, but I still went three times. I noticed a slight chlorine smell, but it was nicely warm. It would be ideal if the in-room bath’s spring water could be heated. For dinner we had the top-tier “Matsu Kaiseki” at a table in the restaurant. At this great price (50,000 yen), we were fully satisfied; however, if it were priced at 70,000–80,000 yen or more for two people, I think more creativity would be needed both in the dining setting and in the meal content. As of writing this Review on IKYU.com , it seems that Special Rooms are not currently being sold there. We were glad to enjoy beautiful satoyama views with no solar panels or anything else in sight from this Accommodation. All staff served us with warm smiles and pleasant hospitality. I also appreciated that most staff were local Japanese rather than foreign workers. We support hardworking Japanese Ryokan like yours. If charging regular rates, we hope you will consider adding one more step of “specialness” worthy of a Special Room. We would love to stay again.

After golfing near Higashimatsuyama, I made a Reservation to enjoy an area where I hadn’t stayed before. With an Onsen and breakfast included, it was a very satisfying stay. There was also a nearby restaurant serving Higashimatsuyama’s famous yakitori (actually pork). When the weather cools down, I’d like to stay here again and visit Shinrin Park. If there’s room for improvement, I felt it would be better if the refrigerator door and the cabinet door opened in the same direction, as they currently open opposite ways.

It was a great Hotel. The directions from Hiroshima Station were easy to understand thanks to the guidance on the website. It will be even more convenient once the underground passage construction is finished. The lobby had a wonderful, out-of-the-ordinary atmosphere. It was also helpful that I could leave my luggage before check-in. The Room was spacious and clean, and I couldn’t hear noise from other guests, so I could relax. Breakfast was one of the highlights as well, and it lived up to its reputation—I really enjoyed it. This is a Hotel I would like to stay at again if I have the chance.

This was my first stay, and the location was very convenient, making it easy to get around and visit many places. The ladies-only floor was bright and clean, which made me feel comfortable. The complimentary drinks were very helpful, and in the evening they even offered beer, wine, and shochu—such a generous Hotel. Thank you very much.

Everything was perfect in every way. The setting, cleanliness, and the delicious dinner and breakfast were all wonderful. It was also fun that each Room we stayed in was different. Even though it was midsummer, the garden flowers were in full bloom like a picture—truly impressive. This time we traveled from Yuda to Hagi and then Matsue, but next time we would like to come to Hagi and stay longer at a relaxed pace.

Both dinner and breakfast were very delicious. I also liked that breakfast started earlier than at any other Hotel I have stayed at. This time I was traveling at a relaxed pace, but I think it’s a great option for guests who want to head out early.

I stayed with my elderly mother. After letting them know in advance, they prepared a Room close to the bath and even provided a legless chair, which we truly appreciated. Both dinner and breakfast offered a wide variety of dishes, and each one was delicious—we were very satisfied. My mother was especially happy to enjoy many different dishes little by little. The bath was a milky, cloudy hot spring, with the temperature just right, and it felt wonderful no matter how many times we went in. We were able to relax and spend quality time together as parent and child while warming up slowly. Most Accommodations provide only one small towel, but here there was an extra small towel in addition to the amenity set (with towels), which I found very convenient. The experienced staff had a calm, reassuring “true hotel professional” manner, and their explanations about the facilities were very thorough. The international staff also made a great effort to explain things in Japanese, and their friendly smiles left a strong impression. I think this is an Accommodation with warm hospitality that is also considerate for families traveling with elderly relatives. I would love to visit again with my mother.
