The “Small-portion Gourmet Kaiseki” was just the right amount for seniors, and over our two-night stay the dinner was excellent in terms of ingredients, preparation, and seasoning. The breakfast also offered a variety of small dishes, and we were very satisfied from the morning with both dried fish and sashimi. The Onsen, Facility, and Room were clean and well maintained, and the staff were extremely attentive throughout our two-night stay. True to its name, it provided a five-star experience and made our trip to Izu a wonderful one.

After the festival at Shima Spain Village, I was able to refresh and recover from the fatigue with delicious food and a wonderful bath, so I could take on day two feeling energized! I’d love to come back again for a relaxing stay.

I stayed here for a concert trip this time. Because of the concert end time and traffic, I didn’t arrive until 9:00 PM, and I ended up getting to dinner very late, but you welcomed me with a smile and I had a wonderful time. Breakfast was also delicious, and since I had some time before checkout, I was able to take a walk in Kenrokuen Garden across the street. The location is excellent, and above all, every staff member was smiling and seemed genuinely happy—I would definitely like to stay here again the next time I visit Kanazawa. Both the Room and the entire Accommodation were clean, and we had a very comfortable stay. The Onsen warmed us through to the core and helped relieve our travel fatigue. The meals were a delight both visually and in taste, and the steak in particular was outstanding. We had no contact with other guests, making it a quiet, relaxing space. Conversations with the staff were also pleasant, and we were very satisfied. We would love to visit again in a different season.

The service was outstanding, and I’m truly glad we chose this Hotel. All the food and drinks were delicious. On the front desk floor, there were complimentary coffee and cold barley tea, and in the lounge area they even provided ice bars and Yakult for the next morning—everything was thoughtfully prepared. Of course, we also enjoyed the late-night soba. We had no complaints at all and had a wonderful stay.

I had been struggling with light sleep and not feeling well-rested for quite some time, when I happened to see the words “sleep therapy” on IKYU and decided to book immediately. Services like this are often available for only one guest, so it was wonderful that both of us could receive the treatment at the same time. My husband was also very pleased. The Room lighting, Onsen temperature, and bedding were all thoughtfully arranged as well, and thanks to that, we both slept soundly through the night. From the welcome sweets onward, both dinner and breakfast were delicious. However, it was a little disappointing that the Tajima beef was served on a hot plate rather than charcoal-grilled. With a hot plate, you don’t really get the benefits of charcoal grilling, so it felt like some of the flavor was lost. The staff were full of hospitality and absolutely wonderful. It was our first visit to Yumura Onsen, but we loved its charming atmosphere and sense of tradition, so we definitely want to return. When we do, we would of course like to book a Plan that includes the sleep therapy again. Thank you very much for taking such great care of us.

The stairs were a bit challenging, but the bath was one floor up and became a private family bath after dinner, so the three of us, including my daughter, had a wonderful time. Every dish was delicious, including the proprietress’s homemade desserts and pickled plums—this is an Accommodation we’d love to stay at again. Thank you very much!

My wife and I stayed for two nights over a weekend trip. Unfortunately, it rained, so we couldn’t fully enjoy sightseeing in Kanazawa as planned. However, the time we spent at the Hotel was incredibly comfortable, and thanks to the wonderful lounge and the thoughtful care of all the staff, it turned into a truly satisfying stay. We arrived at the Hotel around noon. Our car was taken care of with valet service, which made it easy for us to head to Omicho Market. We enjoyed rock oysters, Noto beef croquettes, grilled scallop skewers, and more. When we returned to the Hotel around 2:00 p.m., even though it was before check-in time, we were kindly told that our Room was already ready. The Room was spotless and had a calm atmosphere—such a welcome gesture after walking in the rain. What I had been looking forward to most during this stay was the club lounge. We were amazed by how well stocked it was: their famous cakes, sandwiches, a wide selection of drinks, and even Häagen-Dazs ice cream. The evening offerings were also excellent—far beyond what you’d expect from “just a lounge,” and more than enough for us as dinner. We were also excited about breakfast. Although we had to wait a little due to full seating, the food exceeded our expectations. It felt distinctly Kanazawa-like as well, and we were very satisfied. Above all else, what left the strongest impression was the staff’s smiles and hospitality. Throughout our two-night stay, every staff member greeted us with genuine warmth, and their attentive care comforted us again and again. Even when checking out and leaving, there was one last pleasant surprise. When our car was brought to the entrance via valet service, chilled mineral water had been placed in the cup holders. My wife and I were truly touched by such thoughtfulness until the very end. Since we couldn’t do as much sightseeing in Kanazawa due to the rain this time around، our time at this Hotel became an especially memorable part of our trip. When we visit Kanazawa again، we would definitely love to stay here. To all of your staff، thank you very much for an amazing two nights and three days.

I chose this place to treat my mother to the Summit Dinner Course for her birthday. Everything was outstanding—the beautiful presentation and the taste! The view from the Room on the 3rd floor and from the bath was also wonderful. Since we had an elderly family member with us, we really appreciated the thoughtful touches, such as a non-slip mat in the tub and a chair. We were extremely satisfied, and our whole family had a truly happy time. Thank you so much!

With the risk of torrential rain bands being widely discussed, I considered canceling the trip altogether, but I’m truly glad I decided to visit HAKONE NICA. The calm, high-quality Facility, the silence where outside noise never bothered me at all, the thoughtfully crafted menu and outstanding execution of every dish—and wine and Japanese tea pairings that complemented each course perfectly. Everything was exceptional, and it was a stay I could genuinely be satisfied with. Above all, what impressed me most was the staff’s warm smiles and hospitality.

The ocean stretching out before you The view from the Room is wonderful, but enjoying a drink while gazing at the sea from the gazebo—and then relaxing in a bath—was simply the best. We will definitely return.

I think this Hotel will satisfy a wide range of guests, from families with children to older travelers. There are outdoor activities, and inside the Hotel you can enjoy a traditional snack corner, table tennis, karaoke, bowling (it’s old and may not be operating), a pool, a manga corner, and a game corner (probably for younger kids). There may be even more. The meals are luxurious every time. It makes you want to come back. This was my second stay, and I’d love to visit again! The Hotel is also close to Lucky Pierrot and downtown Hakodate, so the location is great.

From check-in to check-out, we received very attentive hospitality. The Room, bath, meals, and service were all excellent—an Accommodation we were truly satisfied with. We had such a meaningful stay that we didn’t want to return to reality. Thank you very much.

We stay here every year, and since the rebranding and reopening, both the cuisine and the service have been taken to an even higher level—making for a truly satisfying stay. I was genuinely impressed by the chef’s careful selection of ingredients and the time and effort put into each dish. Even breakfast featured thoughtfully prepared items, and our food-loving family was more than satisfied. Being able to see the chef at the end of the meal and exchange a few words made dining even more special. The course itself reflected the chef’s warm personality, which makes us look forward to our next visit. We would love to return in a different season. We stayed here to celebrate a birthday. The sashimi came with daikon carved into a crane, and there was also sekihan (red rice). Everything looked beautiful and tasted great, leaving both our stomachs and hearts full. All of the staff were wonderful and very considerate, which made our time here truly enjoyable. The approach to the Hotel was a bit hard to find, and when I reached the lobby and saw the small front desk, I wondered if I had made a mistake with my Reservation. We stayed as a group of five and booked two Rooms—a triple and a twin—but the triple Room was especially small. Those were my only concerns. However, the Rooms were very clean—everything was spotless and well maintained. The small Room size was made up for by the large public bath, and above all, we were extremely satisfied with how delicious breakfast was! Beautiful presentation, great seasoning, and breakfast in a quiet space without any noise or bustle!! Everyone was very happy. If I have friends planning to visit Kanazawa next time, I will definitely recommend it. I think it’s a high-quality Hotel that exceeds its price. Please give it a try!

All the staff had a calm demeanor and provided pleasant service. The Facility and amenities are kept to the bare minimum, which may feel a bit lacking. Various wild birds came to the trees in the garden, delighting both the eyes and ears. Dake Onsen left a great impression—the Onsen town itself is compact, bright, open, and well maintained.

The Room is new, spacious, and clean. I had a very comfortable stay. The welcome drink included beer, which was delicious. I would like to stay here again next time.

I stayed solo and booked the “Tochigi Beef Sirloin Steak Course.” [Entrance & Lobby] It seems to have been renovated, with a bright and stylish atmosphere. [Front Desk] The staff provided clear, courteous explanations, and check-in was smooth. [Room] Spacious and comfortable. The futon was already laid out, which was great because I could lie down right after arriving. Since my Room was on the 5th floor, the view from the window felt open and refreshing. However, there was no bath in the Room, so I couldn’t wash and hang my rainwear after hiking, which was a bit disappointing. [Baths] The service allowing 30 minutes free use of a private open-air bath was excellent. The large public bath feels a bit dated but has a pleasant atmosphere. Note that there is no outdoor bath. [Meals] Dinner service was timely, and the staff were attentive. The menu said “ochazuke or soba,” but plain rice was also available. The Tochigi beef sirloin was tender and very delicious. Salt, wasabi, ponzu sauce, and other condiments were provided so I could enjoy different flavors. I was also happy they had my favorite sake, “Houou Biden.” For breakfast, I appreciated that it wasn’t a typical buffet but served in a kaiseki style. After checkout I realized I had left a shirt in my Room; when I contacted them, they shipped it to me cash on delivery the next day. Their quick response really helped—thank you very much. Overall, this is a highly satisfying Hotel that I can confidently recommend.
