Thank you for having me for one night. I had made a Reservation for a standard Room, but since rain was forecast, I changed to a Room with an open-air Onsen bath on the day. Choosing to soak at a slightly cooler temperature while listening to the rain turned out to be exactly right. The Room was well designed and functional, and I didn’t feel any particular inconvenience. If I had to name one thing I personally wished for, it would be a Bluetooth speaker—I wanted to play a little music, though that may be asking too much. I arrived before noon, left my luggage, and had lunch at “Saryo Sese” on the property (I had requested seats in advance). It’s not cheap, but it was relaxed and enjoyable. After that, I spent some time walking around the city and then checked in properly. The evening champagne free-flow was also wonderfully unhurried, and the rice crackers served as snacks were delicious. For dinner we ate at one of the Hotel restaurants as well; each dish had its own character, and it paired nicely with drinks. If anything, I only wished there were a bar in the Hotel—this is an Accommodation with an atmosphere where having somewhere for “one more drink” would fit perfectly. The area around the Hotel is very quiet too, so even a small bar could really change how you spend your time here. That said, given the location, waking up early to stroll toward Todai-ji in the calm morning is also lovely—and perhaps that kind of stay suits this Accommodation and setting better than staying up late. The concierge team helped me greatly throughout my stay. Overall it was an excellent Accommodation, and I’d love to return when I visit Nara again.

Although we stayed for only one night, we were very satisfied. We were able to forget the hustle and bustle of the city, relax, and enjoy being surrounded by nature. The staff were wonderful, and it was an Accommodation we would like to visit again. Thank you very much.

I stayed here on my motorcycle, and it rained that day, so I wasn’t sure where to park it. They kindly let me store it in the warehouse, which was a huge help. Thank you. It would have been perfect if the Facility had a coin laundry! If I’m in the area again, I’d love to stay here again.

I have stayed here multiple times, and the reception staff is always kind and efficient, making it a pleasant experience. Although I requested no cleaning, it was disappointing that there was no replacement of towels or linens. The ReFa and amenities in the Ladies' Plan were very satisfying.

I made a Reservation feeling uneasy because the negative Reviews stuck with me. In the end, if you don’t expect too much, you can be satisfied. The sukiyaki catering was generous and very satisfying. Breakfast was not a buffet; it was served individually, so we could eat at a relaxed pace. Drinks, rice, and pork miso soup were self-serve with free refills. Since it was cool enough to feel cold that day, our dog stayed in a crate in the car. Honestly, it’s inconvenient that check-in/out and breakfast are at a Hotel about 5 minutes away by car. You’re given a map for the cottage, but it’s extremely hard to understand. I wish they would place arrows or signs at key turning points on site. The roads are narrow, and at night you will definitely get lost. The short set of stairs from where you park to the cottage is tough. With lots of luggage for both people and our dog, you can’t use a cart. It probably depends on the Room, but there was a full set of kitchen items, which was very convenient. No seasonings are provided. The large refrigerator and having plastic wrap available were small but helpful touches. The tap water is drinkable as-is, but if that bothers you, it’s better to bring your own drinks. The refrigerator is empty. There was only one bath towel and one small towel (the size you’d take into an Onsen bath area) per person, which was inconvenient—I’d love two of each. Also, please provide newer towels; the dog towels were fluffier and I honestly couldn’t tell which were for people. I was very concerned about dampness in the closet where the bedding is stored and in the connected wardrobe area. They should manage this with a dehumidifier. The insects I worried about were within an acceptable range; given the surrounding environment it can’t really be helped—if you can’t handle bugs, it’s better to look for another Accommodation. The building is honestly old, but the Facility has been updated and everything was kept clean. Because it’s a detached building unit, it was very quiet and we could relax slowly. There were no loungewear pajamas and amenities are minimal—so it’s different from staying at a Hotel—but checkout is 11:00 so we could take our time. We were able to spend time at our family’s pace and were very satisfied overall. It might also be nice to skip meals altogether—shop at places like Tsuruya or local supermarkets/roadside stations—and prepare things yourself instead. That way you can stay with your dog all day too.

The staff were very kind, and I felt comfortable throughout my stay. The Room was very clean and well maintained.

The Room was “Mangetsu.” There are four Rooms, with over 20 tatami mats across the main tatami area and the bedroom. With a total of over 97 m², it felt like a truly luxurious space. The furnishings and Room coordination were wonderful. The hinoki bath was very spacious, and because the added hot water was quite hot, we could soak without it cooling down. In the garden, there was even a discreet box with straw sandals inside, and there was an annex that remained closed—both adding to the atmosphere. Service: The front desk staff were kind. They accommodated two changes to our dinner plans. It was also fun hearing local stories. Meals: Breakfast was delicious. Dinner was at a local sushi restaurant. The grilled isaki (grunt fish) was plump and tasty, enjoyed together with its crispy skin. The sushi portions were very generous as well. If I had to ask for one thing, I would have liked a few more vegetable dishes.

The view of Mt. Fuji from the Room was absolutely beautiful, and above all, the guest Room was amazing. It’s spacious and has everything you need! I thought it would be even better if there were a fabric refresher spray or a washing machine, and it was a bit disappointing that there were too many trees blocking part of the Mt. Fuji view. Also, I emailed in advance with an inquiry but never received a reply, so I called afterward. The man who answered was very unfriendly and did not apologize, which made me feel uncomfortable even before arriving.

A large Hotel that appears as you steadily climb the mountain after passing through Azumino’s peaceful countryside. It was my first visit in several years, and it had been renovated—the lobby, front desk, and large public bath were all new and spotless. After the sauna, relaxing on the outdoor terrace surrounded by forest air was incredibly refreshing. Meals are served on a terrace overlooking the woods. In particular, in the morning I enjoyed coffee and pancakes while being soothed by birdsong and the scent of the trees. (I also had grilled rice balls and curry.) We stayed in a maisonette Room, which was spacious and perfect for a relaxing stay. I’m planning to return again in a different season.

I visit Sugadaira every summer, so I check early, but I can never get a Reservation. This time I happened to get one, so it was my first stay. The area around the Hotel is very quiet, and the view from the Room is wonderful. After soaking in the Onsen, my skin stayed moisturized for a while. Everyone—the front desk staff and restaurant staff—was very pleasant and welcoming, and I had a truly enjoyable time. The buffet made great use of fresh vegetables and was thoughtfully prepared rather than relying on cheap pre-made sauces. It was delicious. Since it’s so hard to secure an Accommodation Reservation here, I’d come just for the meal alone. There were also many thoughtful touches: a sheet listing the names of the mountains visible from the Room window, places to hang clothes throughout the Room (probably for winter ski wear), a towel for wiping around the washbasin, and a cube-shaped power strip with five outlets. It’s a Hotel with great attention to detail. If I can get another Reservation, I would definitely like to stay again.

I visited in early April. The cherry blossoms and peach blossoms in Achi were so beautiful and truly moving. The Hotel is located along the river, and at night the stars were incredibly clear; they also offered a stargazing tour. Only the lounge is pet-friendly, and we were able to dine with our pet for both breakfast and dinner. It was seating-style dining, but there was also an irori hearth, and the staff spoke kindly to our dog. The food was very delicious. The bath water felt slightly silky, which really made me feel it was a “beauty hot spring.” It was a bit disappointing that there was no open-air bath. It was a shame that the Room felt a little small and phone reception wasn’t great, but overall we were very satisfied.

The meals were buffet-style, so I didn't have high expectations, but there was a wide variety and everything was incredibly delicious. The bath area had a low-temperature sauna, allowing me to relax at my own pace. It is a quiet and very nice accommodation. I will definitely use it again next time.

I stay here twice a year for 2 nights and 3 days. Every time, I have a relaxing and comfortable experience. Thank you to the staff as always!

I had been curious about it for a long time, so I stayed here this time. I chose the “Niwaka Senbei Room” for a fun, exciting feel, and it really boosted my travel mood. The Room was compact, but I appreciated that the toilet and shower were separate.

Just 12 minutes by train from Kanazawa Station, with a free Shuttle Service from the station, it was a nearby Onsen. I had been curious about the “Tanbo-no-Yu” bath. It was a trip for three sisters in our 60s, and the open-air “Tanbo-no-Yu” bath was wonderful. Maybe because rice planting had just been done around the baths... the chorus of frogs created a great atmosphere. The meals were delicious as well. The staff were from overseas but spoke Japanese very well, and worked hard to provide warm hospitality. It’s an old Hotel with history, and as you walk through the building you can still see impressive old beams, a large cauldron once used to cook rice, and antique chests of drawers. Modernizing the Facility is nice too, but this Accommodation let us truly feel traditional Japanese charm. I think I would recommend it to international guests as well. The price was reasonable, and I will come again. Thank you very much.

The meals were truly delicious! Dinner was especially great—I enjoyed plenty of sashimi, and the best dish of all was the steak. I’m really glad I tried it, and I’m grateful to the chef who prepared everything. Dessert was wonderful too—I left completely full and very satisfied!

I have used this facility multiple times, and this was my first visit since the children's play area was renovated. The play area has been greatly improved, and my child was very satisfied. We were able to enjoy a wonderful time, including the meals. However, there were two disappointing points: 1. There was a stain on the room's sofa that looked like a bedwetting mark, but no explanation about it was provided. 2. To access the room via elevator, you need to use a card key; however, only two keys are provided per room. The Room is spacious enough for up to five adults, but having only two card keys is quite inconvenient. I hope this can be improved in the future.

If you love saunas, campfires, and quiet surroundings, this is the place to go. The sauna layout is very well designed. You can dive into the pool straight from the sauna, then relax either on a chair or in front of the campfire—perfect for unwinding. We stayed for a Multiple Night Stay, and it would be even better if there were a vacuum cleaner available for longer stays. * Drinks are all-inclusive. There was a good selection and quantity, which we really appreciated! There’s also a 7-Eleven, FamilyMart, a supermarket, and a drugstore nearby, so you won’t have any trouble if you need anything.

We stayed for one night from July 17 in a K-type log cabin in the main building with one dog. The entrance door lock was a little difficult to use. The Room was very clean, and it had a washlet toilet and air conditioning, so we were very comfortable. We ordered the BBQ set, and it was delicious. We also used the outdoor bath, which felt great. We would definitely like to stay again.
