It was a wonderful villa with a lovely atmosphere and great views. Two issues: the dryer switched to cool air drying a few minutes after starting, so it was unusable. Also, please make it so that people inside the toilet cannot be seen through the door (especially when the light is on). That was very uncomfortable.

Stayed here for the second night after spending the first night at a pension in Kurumayama. The lakeside Japanese-style room was clean and had everything we needed. The Onsen bath was truly amazing. Due to lack of prior checking, we found out that the attached restaurant was closed for dinner that evening. In the morning, we enjoyed a bakery breakfast box at a lakeside table. The bread and scones were delicious, and the honey was exceptional!

For my first trip to the Kurashiki Bikan Historical Quarter, I chose this style of stay, and it was absolutely the right choice. It felt like my own home—spacious and relaxing—and my friend and I enjoyed two nights experiencing life in Kurashiki. It’s located within the Bikan area and close to Achi Shrine, so it’s convenient for sightseeing, yet it was very quiet. Since amenities are different from a Hotel, you’ll need to keep that in mind, and there is no TV as well. Still, it’s a wonderful house that I’d love to visit again if I have the chance.

It was my first time staying with Sanu, and I’d love to come back again. As soon as we arrived, the scent of wood greeted us, and the Room was clean and comfortable. We were able to relax with our dog on the raised platform area. Also, because meals weren’t provided, we could visit our favorite bakeries for breakfast, and choose between cooking dinner ourselves or eating out—so it felt like living there while still being able to refresh. It was a shame that the bathroom was small and there wasn’t space to put things in the washroom area, but otherwise we were very satisfied.

We stayed for one night to celebrate his anniversary. We also used the room decoration service, and the staff handled our pre-arrival consultation very carefully, so we felt at ease on the day. The private open-air bath in the Room was at just the right temperature, and the soothing sound of the river flowing right beside us was wonderfully relaxing. Since he doesn’t like being tied to a schedule, we chose a Plan with breakfast only, and it turned out to be an incredibly delicious and stylish breakfast that exceeded what we expected from the photos! We also really appreciated the contactless meal delivery via a box connecting inside and outside of the Room—it was a big plus that let us relax without worrying about anything. If I had to mention one drawback, there were insects in the open-air bath at night, so we avoided bathing after dark. Still, thanks to the owner’s warm personality as well, this is a lovely Accommodation we’d definitely like to visit again.

This was our fourth stay, visiting at the end of summer with our two dogs. We love how delicious the course dinner is. The Room is clean, and we’re very satisfied with the private bath as well! It seems to be run by brothers, and they are calm, kind, and very pleasant to talk with. We come once a year, and we’d love to visit again.

From the reservation stage, the owner made various thoughtful arrangements to accommodate food allergies. The hotel interior features a rare piano, paintings, and beautiful furnishings, creating a very relaxing atmosphere. Each dish was prepared with care and was both gentle and delicious. The room was clean, and it was nice that the toilet and bath were separated. The amenities covered the basics, though I would personally have appreciated items like makeup remover as well. The staff were kind and helpful, which made me feel at ease and willing to stay again.

This Hotel mainly caters to guests with No Meals Included plans, but the Rooms are clean and comfortable. The lounge has a coffee machine, tea bags, a microwave, and plastic wrap, so you can prepare a simple meal. About a 3-minute walk away, there is a roadside station and a bathing Facility; from 8:30 a.m., you can also enjoy a morning set meal and buy freshly baked bread. This Hotel offers excellent value for money.

We stayed for a maternity trip, and the staff helped us with a gender reveal surprise, which turned out to be a great success. It was truly two days of happiness. Thank you for creating memories that will last a lifetime. The food, room, and service were all excellent.

This place is located a bit away from the bustling areas, which made it even better! The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes and cooking utensils. We stocked up on deli food and enjoyed a quiet, relaxing stay without worrying about the surroundings. The bathroom and toilet were clean. Having laundry facilities was very convenient. It was an amazing trip, especially since dogs are welcome here!

I chose it because it was close to the destination. From the lobby to the Room, it was neat and tidy without any extra items, which was nice. The bath was spacious and nice. I don't think the morning bread was handmade by a bakery(?), but there were croissants, pancakes, salad, and soup, which were quite filling. If I have the chance, I would like to stay here again next time.

Honestly, I liked it so much that I almost don’t want to spread the word through Reviews (lol). This time, I prioritized access from the station and price, and since my stay was short, I made a Reservation with almost no expectations for the Hotel. But in the best way possible, it completely exceeded them. All of the staff are simply wonderful. Stylish but not pretentious, with a comfortable sense of distance—they naturally check in on you at just the right moments. The amenities in front of reception are well stocked, and you can select everything you need. They even have pajamas, and the amenities selection is so complete you’ll think, “Is there anything missing?”! The welcome tea set made me go, “Wait—why is this so stylish?” Everything was delicious. You can really feel how much care went into that welcome tea set. Absolutely amazing! The burgers at the first-floor café were also surprisingly good. Room service hours had already ended, so I had one for lunch instead! I didn’t use it this time, but apparently there’s all-you-can-drink beer from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM!! And above all, the handwritten guide introducing Yanesen around the Hotel was fantastic. It’s handmade by staff and covers everything from restaurants to cafés to sightseeing spots—you can truly feel their desire for guests to enjoy the neighborhood. Depending on your purpose, a Hotel often ends up being just a place to sleep—but here, for the first time in a while, I felt that “staying at the Hotel itself is fun.” …That said, I kind of don’t want it to become too famous and crowded (lol). Next time I’m in Tokyo, I definitely want to stay here again.

I stayed one night in Ueda while traveling from Tokyo to Kanazawa. It looks far more stylish than in the photos. I expected a renovated Hotel in an older building, but I was impressed from the moment I stepped into the front desk area, and I also loved the calm atmosphere of the Room. On top of that, the large public bath and sauna were truly outstanding. Every item at the attached bakery looked delicious, and quite a few people came just to buy bread. This is a highly satisfying Hotel that makes you want to stop by Ueda whenever you visit the Nagano area. Because I hope it continues to become an even better Hotel, my only request is this: while I was happy with the breakfast bread selection at the restaurant, I’d like to see a bit more effort put into both the dinner menu and some of the finer details.

I had an absolutely perfect holiday. The room was spacious, the Onsen was private, and the BBQ meal was so plentiful that I couldn't finish it all. The delicious food and beautiful surroundings made me drink a bit too much draft beer! The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, which left me deeply moved. If I had to mention one downside, it would be that the road leading to the location is quite narrow and a bit hard to navigate. I would love to come back if possible. Highly recommended for everyone!

The view from the window, though across the road, was very beautiful, and the sunrise was stunning. The staff responded kindly to various requests, and during our Multiple Night Stay, it was very comfortable. We also enjoyed a BBQ with ingredients we bought ourselves. I would love to stay here again! As a side note, if you stay here, I highly recommend trying the bread from Bakery Misaki at the nearby Calico Resort for breakfast!

Our family stayed here for two nights in August. It was our first time at an Accommodation with self check-in, so we were a bit nervous, but we received thorough support via SMS a few days before and again the day prior, which made us feel at ease. On the day, we entered by keying the passcode into the lock on the front door, and check-in was easy using the tablet inside! Perhaps because it’s still a new Facility, everything was very clean—and it felt more spacious than we expected, which surprised us. The kids immediately explored and found the loft; they played up there nonstop. The adults took a breather and then started preparing for a BBQ. We picked up some great-looking meat from the butcher right in front (we later learned it’s a well-known shop). With perfect weather, we enjoyed a family BBQ while watching the sunset. It became our best memory of this summer! The amenities were also excellent—high-end products like those used in salons—so my wife was especially happy. This may become everyone’s favorite Accommodation! We also requested breakfast bread vouchers; it seems to be a popular local bakery as well, and it was busy from early morning. We were very satisfied eating delicious bread on the deck while enjoying the view as a family. Next year, we’d love to come back for a Multiple Night Stay with an extra day or so. Simple yet comfortable rooms, many of which have separate bathrooms and washbasins. Although there are no windows, the lighting creates a relaxing atmosphere. There is also a space on the floor where you can enjoy tea and unwind. Breakfast is served in two shifts, starting at 7:00 AM and 8:00 AM, with each shift lasting 30 minutes, which was surprising. It would have been helpful if this detail was clearly explained during the Reservation process. However, since there seemed to be plenty of seating available, we were not rushed even after the designated time had passed. Still, it made for a slightly hurried morning. The location is excellent with many tourist attractions and restaurants within walking distance.

I probably stay here almost every year. This year it felt like many of the front desk staff had changed, but as always, the service was attentive without being intrusive—just the right balance. What makes this Hotel especially appealing is its location. When I’m in Kyoto for a short stay and need to get various errands done, this area is the most convenient, so I’ve been returning for several years. This time I came from Osaka, and by taking the Keihan Line from Yodoyabashi to Keihan Sanjo, I didn’t need to use Kyoto Station or the subway at all, which made everything stress-free. The Room is always kept clean and well prepared, and it’s also nice to be able to sit down in a shared space and enjoy a cup of tea—something I really appreciate when I’m tired. There’s also a lovely cafe on the first floor where you can have great coffee and breakfast, but since there are several long-established Kyoto coffee shops just a few minutes’ walk away, I didn’t eat at the Hotel this time. I’m sure I’ll be back again next year. Thank you in advance when that time comes.
