We stayed here with a family of five and one dog. Our check-in was a little late, but thank you for accommodating us. We were also very satisfied with the staff member’s courteous explanation at check-in. As for the meals, our whole family worked together and prepared everything smoothly, and we enjoyed it very much. That night, we ended up chatting late into the night as a family and may have had a bit too much to drink. Not only the building itself, but also the dining area, bedrooms, bath, sauna, dog run—everything exceeded our expectations and became a wonderful memory. Next time, we’d like to stay for two nights and three days and relax at a slower pace. Thank you again for everything.

It was a wonderful villa. Mount Fuji was right in front of us, and we could see it clearly thanks to the great weather! The meals were all delicious, and we were very satisfied! We brought our dog along, and they had so much fun playing around. We would love to stay here again. Thank you very much!

As the property is relatively new, the building, Facility, and amenities were all new and spotless. The appliances were thoughtfully selected too—I liked them so much I wanted to use them at home, and I even bought some after returning. Since it is set a little back from the road, we were able to spend our time in peace and quiet. We also encountered wild rabbits and deer, which made it feel like a true getaway. Despite the typhoon’s impact, we still enjoyed a barbecue! Our dog seemed to have a great time as well. We would love to stay again.

We enjoyed the pool for over two hours, and it was a very satisfying stay for our children. The Room had a calm interior, and we were able to relax. The all-inclusive drinks and light snacks were delicious, and this has become one of our favorite Accommodations. We would love to come back again.

I’m one of the repeat guests who visits whenever the dining menu changes, and no matter how many times I stay, this Hotel is always comfortable and never gets old—an ideal place to enjoy a true escape from everyday life. This time, just before the menu changed, I had the FIJI course at OYAMA: six exquisite dishes and dessert, all beautifully prepared with carefully selected ingredients, skillful technique, and thoughtful creativity from the head chef. As always, the staff’s timing in serving each dish and their attentive yet natural communication made the meal truly enjoyable.

It had been since last autumn, but this is an Accommodation that soothes me no matter when I visit. Of course, the Room and the Onsen are wonderful, as are the meals—modern French with witty, thought-provoking menus each time, and a Japanese breakfast made with carefully selected ingredients—but even more than that, I’m always delighted by the staff’s quiet attentiveness everywhere, including turndown service during both dinner and breakfast. I go outside the rear entrance to smoke each time, and there was a small bench that hadn’t been there before. Near the exit were several mats you can use on the bench. I was moved by these little touches and found myself even more captivated by Kokon. I’m already looking forward to deciding when to visit next.

I had a Multiple Night Stay, and to be honest, it exceeded my expectations. Although I couldn't see Mount Fuji from the Room I stayed in, I enjoyed a blissful time on the beautiful garden terrace where the day seemed to pass by in an instant. The medicinal stone bath was incredibly relaxing; after just one soak, my body felt thoroughly warmed to the core. By the second time, I even started looking forward to the bath preparation process itself. The Room was spacious, impeccably clean, and very comfortable. During my stay, housekeeping cleaned while I was out for the day during my Multiple Night Stay. Returning to such a spotless Room felt like coming back to a brand-new space—it was truly impressive! The staff were kind and greeted me warmly every time we crossed paths, making my stay all the more pleasant. When visiting Lake Kawaguchi again, I will definitely return to Hana no Yado Yumefuji! Considering the price, everything was acceptable. However, this isn’t the Hotel’s fault, but by 5 p.m. almost everything in the tourist area—including restaurants—was closed. The downside was that once it got dark, there was little choice but to spend time in the Room. I suppose there must be some kind of agreement among the local merchants.

While Accommodations with Onsen and breakfast and dinner included are wonderful, we were hoping for a stay that felt more like living locally. We stayed as a couple, and the simple layout—kitchen, dining area, bedroom, toilet, and shower—was impressive and made for a very comfortable stay. The owner’s mural was gentle and blended beautifully with the interior, creating a lovely atmosphere. We were told that in winter all rooms have underfloor heating so you can stay comfortable even in short sleeves, so we’d love to visit again in another season. There’s an OGINO supermarket nearby as well as a butcher shop; we enjoyed basashi and relaxed with Yamanashi wine (the kitchen knife wasn’t very sharp, but honestly it felt safer that way). Partway through our stay, the owner stopped by to check on us and shared stories about life at Lake Yamanaka—more than anything else, that became our favorite memory and made us feel at ease. It was a truly wonderful stay. Thank you very much.

This was our second stay as a couple with our dog. Because it is a private rental house with exterior walls, we didn’t have to worry about the surroundings and were able to relax and enjoy a luxurious time in the Room. For meals, the ingredients were prepared in the refrigerator and we cooked for ourselves, but the recipes made it easy to prepare everything smoothly. We also appreciated that the menu was different on the second night, so we never got bored. The staff were very polite and kind. Even if we had questions, we could reach them by phone, which made us feel at ease throughout our stay. It was also great fun chatting during check-in and check-out. Our dog looked happy from start to finish. It was an Accommodation that makes us want to come back again for sure.

We stayed here for our wedding anniversary and a babymoon trip. In short, choosing this Accommodation was absolutely the right decision! This time we used the maternity Plan. Since there are very few Accommodations that offer a maternity Plan, the moment I saw the Plan name I thought, “This is it!” and made a Reservation. When we arrived, the staff welcomed us, carried our luggage from the parking lot, and even provided welcome drinks and a thorough explanation—right from the start, their attentiveness was flawless. With only seven Rooms, the property was wonderfully quiet, and everything felt unhurried. The all-inclusive setup—being able to enjoy drinks and light snacks whenever we wanted—was fantastic. During bar time, my wife was thrilled to have non-caffeinated options and non-alcoholic cocktails as well. She even said, “Next time I can drink alcohol again, I definitely want to come back!” (laughs) Our Room was a stylish maisonette with a chic black theme. The open-air bath viewed through the large window—and the forest scenery beyond—was beautiful. We were truly grateful for all the thoughtful touches for my pregnant wife: a large maternity cushion on her bed, extra cushions prepared for her chair at meals, and more. Breakfast and dinner were satisfying beyond what you’d expect at an upscale restaurant. They confirmed in advance what my wife couldn’t eat and adjusted each dish accordingly. It was also fun hearing how it differed from the standard menu. When we mentioned it was our anniversary, they even prepared a lovely fruit platter with dessert at dinner—we were both genuinely moved. We skipped using the in-room open-air bath this time because there were many insects outside, but we thoroughly enjoyed the private bath whenever we liked. The lounge also felt incredibly open thanks to its high ceiling and large windows that let us take in nature. During bar time after dinner, when Häagen-Dazs vanilla ice cream was sold out, one of the staff kindly brought an alternative for us! We expected it would simply end with “Sorry, it’s sold out,” so we were touched by how far they went for us. And after checkout as we drove away by car، staff came outside waving goodbye with their arms raised—it was such wonderful hospitality that made us think، “We’ll definitely come back!” Thank you for such an amazing stay from start to finish! It became our best anniversary and babymoon ever۔ We’ll absolutely return once my wife can enjoy alcohol again!

We arrived a little early, kindly left our car, and took a stroll around the area. Right away, we visited Suwa Taisha Shimosha Akimiya Shrine next door. In the backstreets of this historic townscape, you can find Onsen springs here and there—perfect for wandering at leisure. Both inside and outside the property felt very clean, showing careful management throughout. The staff’s smiles, service, and conversation were all refined; we truly felt their hospitality and attentiveness, which made our stay very comfortable. From the Room we stayed in—named “Kirishima”—we enjoyed a view of the grove surrounding Suwa Taisha Shimosha Akimiya Shrine, full of charm and atmosphere. Both dinner and breakfast featured local ingredients, and everything was delicious. We could also sense how dedicated the staff were, which made dining even more enjoyable. Bathing in the panoramic large public bath while looking out over the townscape glowing at dusk was exceptional. The water was a gentle Onsen that seemed to softly cling to the skin. Although it wasn’t in our original plans, we stopped by Harmo Museum about 7–8 minutes away by car after receiving a recommendation as we checked out. Driving along the well-maintained lakeside of Lake Suwa and enjoying wonderful paintings became a great memory for us. It was a truly relaxing Accommodation for adults—wonderful in every way. It was my first visit. I was completely satisfied with everything, but there are three highlights worth mentioning. I have stayed at many Hotels, and the dining here was exceptionally satisfying. It’s rare to find Western cuisine of this quality. I was amazed by the consommé made from chicken and vegetables—it concentrated the natural flavors of the ingredients beautifully. None of the dishes felt heavy, and I enjoyed everything right to the end. The ayu paired wonderfully with eggplant as well, and I was impressed by how it all came together. My husband and I even said we would like to stay again just for the meals. The wonderful location was also a major plus. I could truly relax while taking in such a luxurious view. I believe that’s thanks to how meticulously everything is kept clean—from the rooms to the large public bath and even the garden. We enjoyed coffee in the library, and used cups were promptly cleared away; there wasn’t a single unpleasant detail. Above all, what stood out most was how wonderful your staff are. Everyone—the person who provided Shuttle Service by bus, the front desk team, each member of restaurant service staff, and housekeeping—was warm and professional. There were also staff members with charming Fukushima dialects, which sounded lovely to me. In particular, one restaurant staff member remained poised while still engaging in pleasant conversation; unfortunately I didn’t get their name. I hope to see them again on my next visit. We had seen a Review saying the pool temperature was low, and since it was a chilly day we were worried, but it was comfortably warm. The first-floor flooring is also not slippery, so I think it’s dog-friendly. If possible, it would have been even better if the second-floor flooring were made of similarly non-slip materials. The quality of the free-flowing Onsen water was great as well, and it was a wonderful Accommodation that makes not only dogs but also people want to come back.

We stayed here to celebrate an anniversary with close friends! The stylishly designed living area and the Room with a sauna were absolutely perfect for a girls’ trip. If we have the chance, we’d love to stay again. Thank you very much!

This was my second stay. I thought it was amazing last time, but this time was even better!! The building is very clean, and everything is spotless wherever you look. The eggplant soup at dinner was shockingly delicious!! The crispy grilled tilefish is unbelievably good no matter how many times I have it. All the staff were smiling, kind, and attentive. We really appreciated all the thoughtful help during both dinner and breakfast. On our way out, a gentleman who seemed to be the manager was also very helpful—I can’t thank you enough. This is an Accommodation I can recommend to everyone. Thank you very much. We’ll be back again.

I’ve been wanting to visit in every season since my last stay, but our schedules never lined up, so we ended up returning in July again. The cedar-lined path from the Accommodation to Hakone Shrine felt cool and refreshing even under the strong sun, and we were lucky enough to hear the evening cicadas singing—reminding me once again how wonderful Hakone is. Even during dinner we could occasionally hear them; together with the thoughtfully prepared dishes with elegant seasoning and the recommended sake, it made for a truly luxurious time. The next day, after enjoying a healthy breakfast carefully prepared, we were kindly driven to Motohakone Port. From the deck of the pirate ship, we cruised while looking at Mt. Fuji and fully enjoying the cool breeze. We’ll be back again.

I stayed with my parents and husband—four adults in total. There was a complimentary alcohol service available until 10:00 p.m. (there was even beer in the Room refrigerator!), and the all-inclusive drinks with meals also offered a great selection of alcohol. We could even enjoy sparkling wine at breakfast—wonderful for my father and me, as we both love drinks. Every summer, we stay one night at an Accommodation in Fukushima to coincide with my mother’s visit home, and my father really loved this place, saying, “Let’s stay here again next time—let’s make it our regular.” From the bath to the lobby to the Room, every space had beautiful interiors and a wonderful sense of design. The staff were also warm yet polished in their hospitality. It was our first trip where I treated my parents to a stay, so it became a truly memorable experience for us. Thank you very much.
