This was my long-awaited trip to Huis Ten Bosch. I considered staying at one of the official Hotels inside the park, but chose this Hotel for its extensive Facilities, the large number of positive Reviews, and the reassurance of the Okura brand. Even before arriving at the main entrance by car, I was overwhelmed by the sheer scale of the building’s exterior. The stunning stepped atrium from the 1st to 3rd floors also set an exciting tone for a truly luxurious stay. The female bell staff member was exceptionally polite and kind, saying, “We’ll take your luggage up via a separate elevator, so please go ahead to your Room.” When I entered, there was an adorable teddy bear on the table by the window. The message card read, “Happy Birthday,” and since it was my birthday month, it was such a delightful surprise! She also wished me a happy birthday in person, which really moved me. From my Room we could see not only Huis Ten Bosch but also views out to open water—an amazing panorama. It was during the Obon holiday period so there must have been many guests staying, yet thanks to how spacious the Hotel is overall, it never felt crowded. Above all else, every staff member’s attentive service stood out. I’ve stayed at many Hotels and usually find something to complain about somewhere—but this time there wasn’t a single issue, and I enjoyed every moment in complete comfort. While this is clearly a Hotel designed with visits to Huis Ten Bosch in mind, once you cross the bridge there’s also a JR station (remarkably close to the waterfront), so on day two we took the train and went as far as Sasebo. It’s also very useful as a base for sightseeing in Nagasaki City or Sasebo. The breakfast buffet had an excellent variety with plenty of both Japanese and Western options—I ended up eating far too much. This was my first time visiting Nagasaki and Huis Ten Bosch, and it became an unforgettable trip full of wonderful memories. Next time I’d love to stay longer—this truly is an outstanding Hotel. I was able to stay with a same-day Reservation. Since it was last-minute, I ended up using lots of the amenities. I was happy they even had hand cream. The breakfast buffet is the best part of my stay, and as always, the lemon steak and pudding were delicious—everything was tasty. This time, I tried the pancakes for the first time. They were delicious too.

I stayed here while visiting my hometown. When I lived in Sasebo City, I only knew of it, so when I came back home I usually stayed near the station, but this time I had more time and decided to stay here. The view was amazing—it really moved me to think that I grew up in such a wonderful place. I’ll definitely stay again when I’m back home!! The service was great, and the room was clean and satisfying.

The staff were polite and had wonderful smiles. There were plenty of amenities, especially skincare products and face masks for women, which were very satisfying. It was fun to have a variety of tea bags available. Having water dispensers on each floor was reassuring. Overall, it made for a great trip. Thank you very much!

I used to stay here every time I returned to Sasebo when it was the Chisun Grand Hotel. When I searched for a place to stay for my first visit back in a while, I noticed the name had changed. I stayed alone in a double Room on the 11th floor, and both the Room and bathroom were spacious. It was very quiet and relaxing.

Checked in late at night and enjoyed the Onsen. Breakfast the next morning was delicious no matter what I ate! The potato salad with mentaiko was the best, haha.

Since my child’s university club tournament was held in Sasebo City, I made a Reservation early. I chose this place for the great price and convenient location. The Room was a twin, with plenty of space, and the unit bath and toilet were not too small, so it was very comfortable. The bed was nicely firm (just how I like it), and there were two types of pillows—soft and firm—so I slept very well. What stood out most was the food. For dinner, I chose a Plan that included JPY 2,000 worth of meals per person, and the food was delicious despite being very reasonably priced. It probably ended up cheaper than eating out. Breakfast was also high quality, and I couldn’t help but eat too much... There were lots of local specialties—navy curry, fried horse mackerel, sara udon, Goto udon, grilled champon... The vegetable buffet was also excellent. If I visit Sasebo again, I will definitely stay here again. Thank you for such a wonderful and relaxing time.

This was my first stay, and I really enjoyed the beautiful views, the clean Room, and the delicious buffet. The paella was especially tasty. Since it was a weekday, the lounge wasn’t crowded, and I was able to enjoy plenty of alcoholic drinks. It was a very satisfying stay. Thank you very much. I would like to stay again.

Breakfast was a choice of Japanese, Western, or a Sasebo Burger, plus a buffet as well—very satisfying. I couldn’t eat a Sasebo Burger the day before, so I never expected to be able to have one in the morning!

I stayed here last July and returned again this year—thank you for taking care of me. The women’s bath is compact with only three washing stations, but it has been nicely renovated and kept very clean. In front of the front desk, there were also amenities such as lotion and cleansing products. My Room had a spacious, barrier-free style bathroom, but the air conditioning wasn’t very effective. I choose an Accommodation based on the large public bath, location, and washing machines, and within walking distance of Sasebo Station, this is the only place that meets those conditions. I’ll be back again—thank you in advance!

The Onsen was spacious and relaxing, and the wide variety of meals tempted us to eat more than we should. The building is old, but well maintained, and we felt truly refreshed by the warm, smiling service and thoughtful hospitality. With baby-friendly bathing facilities and dining options, we felt at ease and would like to visit next time with three generations of our family.

We chose this Hotel because the cost was about 30,000 yen for two people with dinner and breakfast for one night. The Room was clean, and having a separate toilet and bathroom was a plus. The bathroom had a bathtub that could be filled, and there was also space outside the tub to wash—something we hadn’t seen in other Hotels. For dinner, we could choose from 10 menu options, and the buffet-style breakfast was also delicious. The staff were pleasant and helpful as well. We would like to stay again if we have the chance.

Our three-generation family stayed in two cottages with seven people. The evening BBQ was excellent, with a generous amount of high-quality ingredients and even marshmallows for dessert. The Sasebo burger for breakfast was also delicious, made in collaboration with a famous local shop, so we could enjoy it without having to go out. The amenities were well stocked and very nice, but it was disappointing that there was no bathtub. We hope an Onsen Facility will open nearby.

The price was reasonable, the night view from the Room was amazing, and the large Onsen bath was great, so we were very satisfied. Breakfast used local ingredients and tasted excellent—no complaints at all. The entrance and exit to the underground parking are a bit narrow, so those who aren’t confident drivers should be careful.
