It was our first stay, and it was a wonderful Accommodation that made us want to come back. The entire building has tatami flooring, so there’s no need for slippers, which made it comfortable even with children. Everything felt very clean, the food was delicious, and we also enjoyed being able to choose what we liked from the half-buffet. Above all, the staff’s hospitality was truly warm and memorable. They were kind to our child as well, making it an Accommodation where our family could relax without any worries.

We stayed in the Penthouse Suite. The spacious 200 m² room had a luxurious layout that felt like three separate areas—a living room, bathroom, and bedroom—and there was also a large wardrobe area further inside, so we were able to relax and stay very comfortably. The bathroom, in particular, was stunningly spacious and truly impressive—I couldn’t help but admire it. The amenities were also excellent, making our stay very comfortable. Our children were thrilled with the large living room. It was also wonderful that we could enjoy a relaxed family meal by using in-room dining. Since our second son’s birthday was coming up, the staff prepared various special touches for him, and he was absolutely delighted. We truly appreciated their thoughtful care, and it became a wonderful memory for our family. I would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank all of the staff. Not only the room but the entire Hotel—including the lobby, spa, and executive lounge—was designed with a calm sense of luxury and a cohesive interior style throughout, allowing us to enjoy an indulgent escape from everyday life. The staff were also extremely courteous, and we had a very comfortable stay. If you’re looking for an extraordinary and luxurious Accommodation experience in Osaka, this is a Hotel I highly recommend. It’s especially perfect for those who love a modern and sophisticated atmosphere. Whenever we have plans around Nakanoshima again, we would definitely like to stay here again.

I like the spacious Room in the main building. The bath and toilet are separate as well. However, despite the quiet surroundings, the air conditioner noise is strangely loud, and sensitive guests may not be able to sleep. Shoes are not allowed indoors, so especially in summer it feels uncomfortable unless you bring your own slippers. Socks also get dirty. It was disappointing that the Pac-Man arcade machine on the 3rd floor was not working. I had breakfast for the first time in a while and it was good. There is quite a luxurious variety of dishes. I would like to know the dining hours on the 2nd floor.

I love the calm atmosphere of Tateshina Tokyu Hotel and have stayed here several times. Its setting in the forest, the dignified yet unpretentious interiors, and the quiet time you can spend here offer a charm that is hard to find at other hotels. This time was no different, and it reminded me again how much I like this hotel. Also, though it’s a small thing, I really like the toothbrushes in the guest rooms. They’re comfortable to use, and I can feel the hotel’s thoughtfulness even in these details. I hope you will continue with the current ones. On the other hand, precisely because I’ve been coming for many years, there are a few things that disappointed me. The biggest one is that Japanese dinner has been discontinued since this year. On a Multiple Night Stay, we used to enjoy being able to choose “Western tonight, Japanese tomorrow” within the hotel itself. Especially for us—who prefer not to drive once we arrive and instead relax in the forest or inside—the option was very important. French cuisine certainly has its appeal, but having Western meals both nights makes it feel like a slightly different hotel than before. I would be happy if Japanese dinner becomes an option again someday. I was also sorry to hear that the garden pool, long loved by guests, has ended operations starting this year. I understand it was due to aging facilities (Facility), but combined with the end of Japanese dinner options (Facility), it feels as though some of what made Tateshina Tokyu special is gradually disappearing. One more thing I would love to see enhanced is the in-house library collection (Facility). This is such a quiet Hotel where you can relax while looking out at the forest—perfect for reading. The current selection feels lacking not so much in quantity as in curation quality. If there were more books that you’d want to pick up specifically because you came to Tateshina—on Shinshu’s nature and culture, mountains, architecture, travel writing, literature—it would make time spent at this Hotel even richer. I’m not asking for new facilities or services one after another. Rather, I hope you will continue cherishing and preserving what makes this Hotel unique. These comments come from someone who truly likes this Hotel—and I hope to keep visiting for many years to come.

As it was a solo trip to Clear my mind from daily fatigue, the Hotel's facilities like shopping areas, large public baths, spa and massage services, convenience store, izakaya (Japanese pub), game center—and even nightly Eisa shows—made it enjoyable without needing to go anywhere

I had used this Hotel a couple of times before for day use, but staying overnight was truly something special. The tower view was wonderful—you can see not only what’s right below you, but the entire panorama clearly. In a good way, it was different from the photos. And since I always chose a Room with a tower view, it might even have been the same Room as in my memories… I was so happy. As this is a historic Hotel, there are some older Facilities, but the comfort more than made up for it. Even though it’s high-class, having a microwave in the elevator hall felt very thoughtful—there must be many business travelers as well! I was also surprised by how many ingredients were in the fried rice at the Chinese restaurant, and the terrace projection mapping—and breakfast… The taste, variety, and uniqueness were all on another level. Thank you for taking care of us again, following last season. We had made a Reservation at the end of last year, but you kindly contacted us to let us know there wasn’t much snow, so we canceled once and visited in February. We were glad it happened to be available. The Accommodation was clean, the meals were delicious, and the location was perfect—you can ski right back to the Accommodation from the slopes. All of the staff were kind and very pleasant. Thanks to you, our child has completely fallen in love with skiing. We would love to stay with you every season. Thank you very much.

I accompanied my relatives on this trip because their family home is in Akita. They said there was nothing there, but we drove through Hachimantai and, along the way, enjoyed a day-use bath at Goshogake Onsen. After visiting the family grave in Noshiro (the main purpose of the trip), we stayed at this Accommodation. Things ended up being a bit hectic, but we would like to stay again.

The weather was great, and the pool was very comfortable to use. The water temperature was warm, and although I was worried it might be a bit cold, there were no issues at all. The cost performance is excellent, making it an accommodation I would definitely like to use again.

Some areas inside the Hotel felt a bit dated. This is a matter of preference, but I wished there had been a pleasant fragrance throughout the Hotel. In the club lounge, the group next to us got into an argument, which was distracting and spoiled the atmosphere, which was disappointing. It seemed to be the same group, but I also hoped they would be more considerate about wearing strong perfume in the dining area.

I’ve stayed here several times, but this was my first time at Kobushi. ○ There is a gap at the bottom of the Room door, so outside noise carries in easily. ○ Because there is no door to the dining area, food smells spread throughout the entire floor. Also, dinner time is set at 90 minutes, and the next dishes come slowly. When dining with a child (one-plate meal), they finished early and it was difficult. These two points were drawbacks. Everything else was perfect. You can enjoy yourself from morning until late afternoon the next day! You can play a lot and relax, and everyone from children to adults will be satisfied. No matter how many times we come, my child says they want to stay again. Regarding meals, I’d appreciate it if the serving pace could be faster for guests with children—once they finish eating, they have nothing to do.

We stayed in August. The Hotel itself felt a bit old, but the necessary areas have been renovated. Good points - The Hotel has an outdoor pool. It’s a bit far to Ito Orange Beach, so the pool is more than enough for kids to play. It’s also heated, and the water temperature was comfortable. - There are karaoke rooms, table tennis, and a free manga corner. - The complimentary Onsen manju at welcome service is delicious. - As part of the Fujita Kanko Group, there are Plans that include free tickets to Hakone Kowakien Yunessun and Shimoda Aquarium. There is also a 24-hour MaxValu right next door, where you can buy any snacks or treats you need. Points for improvement - If it’s only seafood, it can get repetitive, so I’d like more variety in meat and vegetable dishes as well. - I would prefer card keys for the Room. Overall, I felt it offered excellent value for money.
