I stayed at this accommodation during my visit to Kanazawa. The meals were all truly delicious, with a refined taste that highlighted seasonal ingredients, leaving me deeply impressed. This small accommodation with only 7 rooms offered a very quiet and peaceful stay, and the staff's warm hospitality was exceptional. Its proximity to Kanazawa city and the tranquil surroundings allowed me to enjoy a relaxing time. I would love to visit again.

From check-in and being shown to our Room, to the service during meals and through check-out, all staff were kind and welcoming. The meals were also very delicious. The entrance gate is narrow, so getting in and out by car was a bit difficult, but that was the only minor issue.

For the past few years, we have stayed here almost every year. It reminds us how wonderful it is to spend time with family in nature. The Room and the surrounding greenery are beautifully maintained, and we also enjoy the delicious meals. The fun activities and the relaxing time are both fantastic. Above all, all of the staff are truly wonderful, and it became a joyful summer family memory. Thank you again for this year.

Tucked away a little off the prefectural road, this Accommodation is quietly situated—and truly wonderful. With only a small number of guest Rooms, they seem to focus on attentive hospitality. The meals were outstanding at both dinner and breakfast—so generous you’ll wonder if it’s really okay to eat that much. The price is a bit on the high side, but the value for money is excellent; everything was carefully prepared and genuinely delicious. We stayed as a couple, and the Room was quiet, spacious, and spotless. The Onsen was also fantastic and incredibly relaxing. The open-air bath is wide and spacious, and you can stretch out on a reclining chair in front of nature with nothing on—an amazing refresh that lets you forget everyday life for a while. There was complimentary summer mandarin juice at both the front desk and the large public bath area, and it was delicious too. Our Room had a semi-open-air bath, but that one felt fairly standard. I’m very disappointed that I slept in and missed going to the morning public bath. I’d love to stay again—the staff’s sincerity really came through.

After touring the Komoro Distillery, we walked from Komoro Station to this Ryokan. The website said it was a 20-minute walk, but it took us about 30 minutes. We took a taxi on the way back. At the front desk, we were served plum soda and then shown to our Room. This time we stayed in a Room with a private indoor Onsen bath. It was a bit old, but very clean and well maintained. There is also a large public bath, but it is up quite a steep stone staircase, and my husband said it would be safer to use the bath in our Room instead—so we did. The Onsen left our skin feeling wonderfully smooth. I have had dinner at many Ryokan over the years, but every dish here was truly delicious. You could call it creative Japanese cuisine—both the presentation and flavors were excellent. They served salt-grilled ayu (sweetfish). I usually give ayu to my husband because of all the bones, but they told us you can even eat the bones in the head here, so I tried it for the first time—and really didn’t notice any bones at all. Because the food was so good, we also enjoyed it with their sake tasting set. Having an in-room bath meant we could enjoy it whenever we liked, which was wonderful. Breakfast included barley rice with grated yam (mugi-toro), grilled fish, ginger-flavored Onsen egg, and many other dishes—we enjoyed everything. A taxi to Komoro Station costs 1,000 yen, which is much better than walking for 30 minutes. It made me want to visit Komoro again next time as well.

A relaxing Accommodation that makes you want to stay again. The staff were very courteous and attentive. Breakfast was served in a lovely atmosphere, and it was very filling. The only drawback is that the on-site parking lot is very narrow. Our car required quite a bit of maneuvering and someone guiding us; there is also a flat lot farther away, but considering the weather and our luggage, we chose the closer option. It’s within walking distance of the bus stop, so we were able to go out after check-in as well.

The Room size, bathroom, and amenities were good. However, we did not feel much hospitality. The building makes good use of its charming historic architecture, and it was comfortable to stay in. The location was also quiet.

In winter, you get out of the car before reaching the Accommodation and walk the last few minutes to it. It surprised me at first, but the moment the sound of cars fades and only snow and the river remain is truly memorable. Rather than feeling inconvenient, it feels like a quiet shift away from everyday life. Inside the building, water keeps running to prevent freezing, reminding you that people are living here deep in the winter mountains. There were even a few insects that had woken up from hibernation, but they weren’t causing any trouble—it felt like they were simply part of this place. The Onsen is more comfortable if you let your body adjust before soaking rather than rushing in, and the fine sand on the bottom of the bath felt fresh against my soles. Unlike an overly polished Onsen, it really makes you feel immersed in nature. The tofu served at night had a gentle flavor, but the freshly made tofu in the morning had a slight bitterness that actually stayed with me. It felt like tasting the local water and soybeans as they are. At breakfast, they also shared a recommended way to enjoy tamago kake gohan: mix only the egg white first, pour it over rice, then place the yolk on top—trying it was a fun moment. I found myself wondering how long it had been since I last laid out my own futon; I was surprisingly good at it and felt quietly satisfied. Even using an unfamiliar type of Room key felt refreshingly different. When you turn off the lights it becomes truly pitch-dark; even waiting for your eyes to adjust feels pleasant, and in the morning I naturally woke up to light filtering through shoji screens. This time it was about a five-minute walk from where we parked; if I’d left my smartphone in the car too, I might have experienced an even slower sense of time. Many guests were not only families but also solo travelers, which made it especially memorable that I could relax comfortably on my own. In everyday life there aren’t many chances to remember this kind of pace—but once you visit, it’s a place that somehow feels easy to settle into.

A warm welcome made for a pleasant start. The Onsen was excellent. The meals were beautifully presented with an autumn theme and were absolutely delicious.

We arrived by car. The steep slope and distance from the parking lot to the accommodation made it quite challenging, especially with suitcases. The accommodation itself was clean and well-maintained, including the room, toilet, and bathroom, which made for a pleasant stay. The lamps placed throughout created a unique atmosphere that was very charming. However, I did wonder how other guests spent their time in the dimly lit rooms aside from enjoying the onsen. It was refreshing to escape from the hustle and bustle of city life and relax in a remote mountain area where even smartphones couldn't be used, surrounded by the sound of a flowing river and autumn leaves. I would love to visit again once the open-air bath is restored.

We stayed as three generations and booked two Rooms (a barrier-free Japanese-Western Room and a Japanese-Western Room for four). ■Room Barrier-free Japanese-Western Room It felt a bit dated, but it was very clean and comfortable even with a wheelchair. That said, the view from the window was mostly the garden hillside, so the scenery was a little underwhelming, and the Room felt slightly dark at times. Japanese-Western Room (for four) A beautifully renovated, stylish space! With an amazing view of the pond right in front of us, our daughters were thrilled. ■Onsen・Facility / Inside the Accommodation The tatami hallways meant no slippers were needed—such a relaxing atmosphere. There was also a footbath area where we could unwind. The private bath in particular was spacious, so my mother could use it with peace of mind. The Onsen water quality was surprisingly rich and moisturizing—truly wonderful. ■Meals・Service The food portions were generous and everything tasted excellent. The extra-ordered horse sashimi was also very satisfying. When they prepared a cake for us, they kindly helped set things up so we could enjoy it in our Room, which we really appreciated. The free drinks after viewing hanamomo blossoms (including draft beer) were also fantastic. ■Overall The Rooms, Onsen, and meals were all outstanding—we had such a fulfilling stay. We would definitely like to return to this Accommodation.

I visited in early April. The cherry blossoms and peach blossoms in Achi were so beautiful and truly moving. The Hotel is located along the river, and at night the stars were incredibly clear; they also offered a stargazing tour. Only the lounge is pet-friendly, and we were able to dine with our pet for both breakfast and dinner. It was seating-style dining, but there was also an irori hearth, and the staff spoke kindly to our dog. The food was very delicious. The bath water felt slightly silky, which really made me feel it was a “beauty hot spring.” It was a bit disappointing that there was no open-air bath. It was a shame that the Room felt a little small and phone reception wasn’t great, but overall we were very satisfied.

I was able to relax and unwind at a very leisurely pace. It was a stay that truly made me think, “As expected of Hilton!” I rated the Facility 4 points because the Room doorstop is located in front of the suitcase storage area, so I bumped my foot and hurt it every time I took my luggage out, which is why I deducted a point.

This was my first time staying here. In the middle of the city in Yokohama Kannai, it felt like a mysterious otherworldly space, and the Japanese-style atmosphere was wonderful. The Room is not very spacious, so the air conditioner blew directly onto one side of the bed, which made it a little uncomfortable. The bathroom was clean, but the bathtub was small. Breakfast was very delicious; the croissant-style waffles and the local specialty shumai were especially excellent. I would like to visit again if I have the chance. Thank you very much.

Although it was the rainy season, we were able to fully enjoy Genbikei Gorge with reassuring weather.\nThe river surface was also visible from the Accommodation, which was wonderful. In addition, there is nothing to complain about regarding the meals and the Facility.\nWe plan to visit again.\nThank you very much.

Four of us women stayed in the Room called “Yomoyama.” As a corner Room, it had great views, and we loved the lush garden and the spacious Japanese-style Room set up as a summer tatami sitting area. Every attendant provided wonderful service, so we were able to relax and enjoy our stay. Dinner was thoughtfully prepared, and we enjoyed every dish. From 8:00 p.m., we took a walk in the garden to watch fireflies; since the weather was good, we saw many of them. It was a great trip where we could feel the charm of Japan in this historic and wonderful building.

Dinner and breakfast included: Seiryukan, 8-tatami Japanese-style room — JPY 32,400 for 2 adults One dish after another came out—items like chilled pumpkin soup and eggplant aspic that are hard to make at home—and there were quite a lot of them. Everything was delicious, and both the quality and quantity were more than sufficient. The breakfast buffet wasn’t as lavish as dinner, but there was a good variety, and I had no major complaints about the taste. The “Meditation Sauna” was excellent. It’s dark inside with piano music playing very softly, creating a great atmosphere. The temperature seems slightly lower than a typical sauna, so you can take your time and enjoy it slowly. The other “Casual Sauna” is a standard sauna with automatic löyly. Both cold baths use natural spring water and are nicely cold—ideal for sauna lovers. This stay was mainly for wild bird photography. Driving slowly from the Accommodation along the prefectural road via Tsubetsu Pass to Lake Kussharo, we spotted birds such as grey wagtails, Hokkaido rock ptarmigan, and white’s thrush from the car windows, making for an enjoyable birdwatching trip. I do wish the room rate were just a bit lower, but given recent inflation that may be unavoidable. Considering what you get for dinner, I think they’re doing an impressive job.

Perhaps because it was a weekday right after Golden Week, it wasn’t crowded, and we enjoyed both dinner and breakfast—everything was delicious. The Onsen was wonderful, and the staff were polite and kind. If we have the chance, we would love to visit again.

We stayed to celebrate a birthday. Although our Plan did not allow us to choose a Room, they prepared one with a view of Tokyo Skytree from the window, and we truly appreciated the thoughtful gesture. The Japanese-style Room made it feel like a real getaway, and the night view from the 12th-floor rooftop was just as beautiful as described in the Reviews. Thanks to you, it was a wonderful celebration and we were very happy. Thank you very much.

I stayed here because it was close to the university. As mentioned in a Review, the breakfast was very delicious!! There was a buffet and a live kitchen where food is cooked to order, and I was very satisfied. However, the bathroom and toilet are a bit small... but the breakfast made up for it!
