Once again, we enjoyed a wonderful trip as a parent and child. The staff were kind and helpful, the meals were delicious, and the Room was clean as always, making our stay very comfortable. Thank you very much.

As last year, I stayed in the Castle Suite with my daughter. It’s a Room that any young child will absolutely love. It features two Kumamoto Castle-themed bunk beds, a slide, plenty of toys, Kumamon figures, an oversized TV, and a hinoki cypress bath. The refrigerator was stocked with complimentary drinks—both alcoholic and non-alcoholic—so while my child played, I could relax and fully enjoy some downtime.

We stayed as a two-generation family of four. Since my mother has difficulty walking and a barrier-free Room happened to be available, we chose this Room. It was very convenient, on the same floor as the lobby lounge. The Room was furnished as shown in the photos, but some pieces felt a bit in the way for moving around. The toilet door was heavy, and for an in-room toilet it felt oddly like a hospital-style door. There was also a large mirror directly in front of it; the placement wasn’t great because it was on the wall by the toilet and could be seen from the sofa while resting, which I didn’t like. The Room itself is very spacious, which is great. You can step out onto the balcony through the bay window and enjoy fresh forest air, which felt wonderful. The view wasn’t great since we were on the 3rd floor, but in return, the view from the 6th-floor bath area was unbelievably beautiful—something I’d never seen before—and I highly recommend using the baths. The food offered many dishes, and because the lobby area is spacious, getting around during meals was smooth—it really felt like being at a resort. Drink servers were set up so you could get beverages in various areas, and overall service was excellent. We could feel thoughtful service at every moment and truly enjoyed all-inclusive stay. For activities, there seem to be table tennis, karaoke, tennis, etc. Overall, it felt like most guests were Japanese.

The Hotel staff were very pleasant and helpful, which was great. However, in the large public bath, while some foreign guests were soaking in the tub, they left bath items and locker keys at the washing stations so others could not use them. When I tried to use one, they got out of the bath and told me—using a foreign language and gestures—that I was not allowed to use it. All of the washing stations were occupied by foreign guests for a long time, so several people besides me had to wait for quite a while. I stayed for two nights, and it was the same both days, which made going to the public bath stressful. The Hotel was clean overall—the Room was spotless and breakfast was delicious.

We stayed in a seaside-view Room this time. The view was great, and the Room’s spaciousness and cleanliness were well received by both my grandchild and our family. We were satisfied with the meals as well, but my grandchild has allergies, so it would have been helpful to have allergen information displayed (it’s possible we simply missed it). When we asked the kitchen staff, they kindly told us, but when they seem busy we feel a bit hesitant to ask. Overall, everyone said they would like to come again, so we would like to stay here again next time.

Conveniently located, making it very easy for sightseeing. The Room is also beautiful and very clean. However, it is a pity that there is no large public bath.

We were very satisfied with every aspect of our stay, including the meals, the bath, and the staff’s service. The meals offered a wide variety of dishes and were delicious—we were truly pleased. The bath allowed us to enjoy the excellent water quality unique to an Onsen, and we had a relaxing, soothing time. All staff members were courteous, making our stay comfortable. We would definitely like to stay again if we have the opportunity.

As a devoted fan of Toba Grand Hotel—and as “Captain Donguri”—please allow me to share a few ideas with affection: 1) Extend lounge hours (until 11:00 p.m.) Spending time in that sophisticated lounge atmosphere is exceptional. If guests could enjoy complimentary drinks until 11:00 p.m., the evening would become an even more special memory. 2) Revitalize the retro game arcade & festival-style corner If an energetic “festival corner” were added to that nostalgic, welcoming arcade area, it would surely become a signature spot where adults and children alike can have fun across generations. 3) Seasonal limited-time “all-you-can-eat fruit” buffet feature For example, “all-you-can-eat strawberries” in early spring or “all-you-can-eat melon” in summer—having seasonal highlight events at the buffet would help attract repeat guests year-round and generate even more buzz. Of course, I fully understand that the working environment for your staff and operational considerations must come first. With that in mind, I would be grateful if you could keep these ideas in mind simply as one fan’s dream of what would be wonderful if it could be realized. With Toba Grand Hotel’s potential—and the passion of your staff—I truly believe you will continue to be the overwhelming No. 1 Hotel in the region without question. From here on as well, let us guests join hands with the General Manager and all staff to make this wonderful Hotel shine even brighter together.

We made a Reservation because it was close to the Otsuka Museum of Art. It was wonderful. It was our first time in Tokushima Prefecture, and it wasn’t too far to drive from Osaka, which made for a great trip. One regret is that the Hotel sold onions, and I wish I had bought them there—they were cheaper than anywhere else. The food was excellent, the staff were very pleasant, and we would like to stay again. It became a great summer memory with our child.

The view from the Room was wonderful, and the meals were delicious. Above all, we are truly grateful for the warm and pleasant hospitality from the staff. The Hotel is closer to the Otsuka Museum of Art than the museum parking lot, so if you plan to visit, we highly recommend staying here. With everything this place offers, the price is very reasonable, and we were completely satisfied in every way. Thank you very much. We are grateful for this wonderful connection.

It was a truly wonderful Hotel. The hot water was excellent, and I was very satisfied. One suggestion: it would be helpful to have a trash bin in the washing area of the bath. It was difficult to store amenities such as razors and toothbrushes. I would appreciate it if this could be improved. Also, I think the shop’s selection could be a bit more extensive. I would have been happy if there were some light snacks in the free drink corner.

It was great that we could use the bath anytime. The open-air bath uses natural hot spring water, and the temperature was very hot, but it left my skin feeling smooth. The Room was also very spacious. There were power outlets next to the bed, which was a nice touch. However, the air conditioner vent was directly overhead, so it felt cold. The dining venue was very large, so even with many guests it didn’t feel too crowded. There was a wide variety of dishes and free drinks, so we were very satisfied. All of the desserts were especially delicious.

We stayed here as a family during Golden Week. We often use Kyoritsu Resort properties, and our son—who loves Hotels—was thrilled! Considering the location and price, we felt the Room size was understandably compact. It was clean and pleasant. All the staff were cheerful, and it left a great impression that they greeted us clearly and warmly even when we just passed by. We also had breakfast here, and it was very satisfying. Of course, we fully enjoyed the Onsen on all three floors! We would like to stay here again when visiting Tokyo.

Both breakfast and dinner offer a wide selection, including meat, fish, tempura, noodles, salads—everything you could want. The food is delicious. There are many kinds of desserts, and you can also take them back to your Room to enjoy. The herbal tea was excellent. The staff’s friendly greetings were wonderful. It’s a Hotel that’s hard to book, so if you get the chance, definitely give it a try.

This was my first time in Himeji to see an opera. I considered other options, but chose this Hotel because of the Nikko brand, a separate bath and toilet, on-site parking, and even a club floor. However, the parking lot fills up quickly (it’s near the station and there aren’t many spaces), which made me nervous as a guest traveling from far away. A male staff member at the parking entrance kindly secured the last available space for me, which was a huge help—thank you very much. It would be great if parking could be reserved when making a Reservation, though I understand it may be difficult to manage. I also appreciated that parking is free for club-floor guests. The Facility feels a bit dated in places, but the Room has been renovated for comfort and convenience, with no shortage of amenities. The ReFa shower and hair dryer were excellent. The toilet wasn’t just updated cosmetically—the fixtures and piping also seemed new, making it very easy to use. The pajamas were a comfortable two-piece set with a soft feel and relaxed fit. It was quiet at night and I slept very well. The lounge made me wonder if this price is really okay—the food and drinks were impressively plentiful. Not only alcohol but also a great selection of HARNEY & SONS teas; the cinnamon tea recommended by one of the hotel staff was so good that I bought some afterward. Overall, the service was pleasant throughout and I could truly relax. Breakfast offered an extensive variety of both Japanese- and Western-style dishes—so much that even with my big appetite I couldn’t try everything. Live-cooked egg dishes are common at Hotels, but this was my first time seeing burgers made to order right in front of me. The burger was delicious—and perfectly sized as well. And the Awaji Island milk was outstanding. With no time limits on parking or lounge access, I could visit Himeji Castle and shop in the arcade as well. This isn’t just convenient for guests—it also feels like support for local revitalization efforts. Breakfast included many locally inspired items, and even the vending machines next to reception carried products from local confectionery shops—another nice touch. I don’t often have reasons to come to Himeji, but I’d love to return for a relaxing staycation. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

I stayed here to visit Hakodate Racecourse. I stayed last year as well and it was so good that I came back again. Among the major Hotels in Yunokawa Onsen, this one seems to be the closest to the racecourse. It’s about a 15-minute walk, and there’s also a streetcar, so it’s convenient for getting into the city. There are also a convenience store, COOP supermarket, and a drugstore nearby. In any case, there are few Rooms, so it never feels crowded. The large public bath is also quiet. The property is connected to Takubokutei, so you can use Takubokutei’s large public bath and shop as well. (Guests staying at Takubokutei cannot use Kaikyo no Kaze.) The Room is simply spacious. Even the standard type feels very comfortable. This time I chose a Room with a private bath, and the bath in this Room was excellent—spacious with great water quality. Having two sinks was also convenient. Even the tissue box was full-size like at home. The only disappointing point was that both the Room window and even the bathroom window were dirty, so I couldn’t clearly enjoy the view through them. Since I was on a high floor, cleaning the windows may be difficult, but I had been looking forward to “a panoramic view of Tsugaru Strait,” so it fell slightly short of expectations. This time I booked a Plan with dinner and breakfast included, and both meals were truly excellent. There were plenty of Hokkaido ingredients with lots of variety on the menu, plus several kinds of desserts—I ate so much that I didn’t need lunch. Meal times were scheduled in advance as well, so there was no crowding. Next year I’d like to stay here with my daughter—the three of us together. Also starting next year my son is scheduled to be transferred to Sapporo, so I’d like to recommend it to him too.

The moment I stepped from the entrance into the lobby, I was struck by the sense of openness and the deep blue sea stretching out beyond it, and I felt truly glad I came. The warm welcome, dinner, and breakfast—along with thoughtful touches you won’t find at other Hotels—made for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. This has become a Hotel I’d love to stay at again. Please keep up the great work for Wakura Onsen’s recovery.

The breakfast was amazing! It was so good that I’d stay here just to eat breakfast. The kids also seemed to have fun making their own seafood rice bowls in the morning. There is also a coin laundry in the Facility, and the Onsen changes between morning and night. Because my expectations were high from the Hotel photos, I noticed some signs of aging in the guest room, and it was a bit of a walk to the Onsen. It’s about an 8-minute drive to Obi Castle, so the location is great. Enjoying the Onsen after getting tired from eating while walking around made for a wonderful trip!

On my first trip to Toyama, I stayed here for two nights during a 4-night, 5-day visit. I chose this Hotel for its convenient access to the trolley train, the wide variety of Toyama local cuisine, the table tennis, and above all, the incredible view from the Room. The Room was even better than I imagined—wonderful and very comfortable. We were lucky with the weather, so we could clearly see the trolley train, and I was moved every day by the beautiful scenery outside the window. The Onsen was somewhat busy at times but still within an acceptable range. The water left my skin feeling smooth. A small issue came up at dinner, but the way it was handled was truly heartfelt. They even gave my son some fireworks, which added something special to our family time together. It’s impressive that their response made me feel not only that it canceled out any inconvenience, but that it almost happened for a reason. I have great respect for the manager who assisted us. Everyone at this Hotel was wonderful—even down to each greeting from staff members. Thank you to the Shuttle Service driver for taking us back and forth to Unazuki Station so many times! And thank you as well to the woman working at the bar counter in the buffet venue for teaching me how to make a recommended delicious drink! Also, thank you for writing a letter for my son—he was deeply touched. He brought it home as a keepsake and is treasuring it. Toyama Prefecture has so much depth—I found many more places I want to visit. After entrance exams are over, I’d like to come again in autumn. This time I debated between a Deluxe Japanese-Western style Room and a Western-style Room, and chose the Western-style one. The Room was amazing, but now I’m curious about the Japanese-Western style too—choosing next time will be exciting. Beyond just the view, as a woman I was also impressed by how high-quality the hair dryer in our Room was. Such great attention to service detail. Is it the same hair dryer in every Room? My hair felt so silky afterward. If there’s one request: I’d be happy if there were women’s amenities in each Room (or at least amenity sets in deluxe Rooms). Some guests may want light makeup after using the Onsen as well; having an amenity set would make an already perfect stay even better. We used this Hotel as our base while sightseeing around various places. Next time I'd like to stay three nights. Thank you very much for everything!

Everything was great except that the Room was so hot I could barely sleep. There was a fan in the Room, so I should have turned it on, but I couldn’t be bothered to get up, plug it in, and switch it on, so I just endured it until morning. After taking a bath in the evening, I enjoyed 4 of the 12 kinds of complimentary shochu in the lounge. Then live music started as well, and it was such a lovely time relaxing on a comfortable sofa. For the shochu, ice, cold water, and hot water are provided, so you can drink it however you like. As is often the case with buffets, it was quite crowded at mealtime, but there were also Kagoshima local dishes, which made it fun.
