The exterior looks a bit old, so I was a little worried before going in, but the Room was even cleaner than in the photos, and the view was amazing—overall it was very nice. I checked in after 3:00 PM and had a relaxing time. Since it was summer, I was also worried about insects, but there were two insect repellent items in the open-air bath area, and an electric mosquito repellent and (possibly) insect spray in the Room, so I think the pest control measures were sufficient. Just one thing: the sink drain seemed slightly clogged, which concerned me. Other than that, everything was great. There isn’t a convenience store within walking distance, but it seemed like you can buy cup noodles at reception, so it didn’t seem like an issue if you get a little hungry. I’d like to stay here again when I visit Izukogen. Thank you very much.

Everything you need is provided. The host is very friendly. Great location. The projector is old, so it’s best not to rely on it. No issues with the Wi‑Fi, and the iPad was a big help. Ideal for guests who don’t mind a compact space and plan to cook their own meals.

The area is surrounded by a few houses and lots of trees, creating a very relaxing space where you can forget about your daily life. Highly recommended for those who want to spend time leisurely in nature. The kitchen utensils are sufficiently equipped, so you won't have trouble cooking. The hand soap provided was from diptyque, allowing us to enjoy its fragrance. As for the sauna and Onsen, we were extremely satisfied. Turning off the lights revealed a starry sky, which was truly moving. Since there were no fences, you could sit comfortably, and the nearby trees allowed us to feel close to nature. The disappointing aspects were the limited cooking ingredients, the towels having a damp smell, which was slightly unpleasant, and the showerhead being broken, making it difficult to use. It would be better if the amenities were more well-prepared. Nonetheless, I would love to visit again! Regarding the price, it was a bit disappointing that despite making an early Reservation, there was a last-minute discount on the official website, making it about 5,000 yen cheaper.

This was my second stay. It was very disappointing that the weather did not allow us to see Mt. Fuji, but the view of Lake Yamanaka in the rain and the autumn leaves were nice in their own way! There were some crumbs like snacks on the floor near the window, but everything else was very clean and well-maintained, making it a pleasant stay. I thought it would be nice if there were mops or vacuum cleaners available for guests to use when they make a mess, so they can clean up themselves and maintain a higher level of hygiene. I also wished for some bath cleaning supplies for reheating the bath. The amenities are excellent.

We comfortably stayed with 4 adults and 2 children. All the tableware was neatly stored in wrapping bags, and we had to open each plastic bag to use them. While it was excellent in terms of hygiene, it was a bit of a hassle, and I thought that disposing of the plastic each time might not be good for the environment. However, from the perspective of maintaining the cleanliness of the property, I thought it was very good. In addition to the tableware, the interior, appliances, and mattresses were all the latest, and the modern Scandinavian style lifted our spirits. As an interior enthusiast, I was thrilled and soothed to be surrounded by a beautiful space with items like a Dyson hairdryer, Remipan, Staub pot, Royal Copenhagen tableware, and Louis Poulsen lighting. One thing to mention is that the AI cooking appliance was so advanced that it took quite some time to master its use (I'm still not sure if I used it correctly...). There were also plenty of tools for the children to play with, so they didn't get bored. They especially seemed to enjoy the outdoor bouldering. (However, since the ground is stone, I was a bit concerned about safety unless an adult was always present... I thought it would be better if cushions were laid out.) The most wonderful thing was the spectacular view of the lake from the large windows. The sunrise, in particular, was breathtaking. If I have the opportunity to visit Hamamatsu again, I would definitely like to use this property. Although I didn't meet the staff in person, they responded promptly, and both check-in and check-out were smooth. Thank you very much.

We stayed as a group of 6 adults. First of all, the owner was very kind and considerate, even before our stay. Thank you so much! The plan included breakfast, which featured delicious items like bread, roast beef, fruits, and Hakone rusk provided in the room. The portions were generous and we were very satisfied. The bath was spacious, the room was clean, and we had an extremely comfortable stay. The sauna was also great! It would be nice if the issue with BS channels not being available and the difficulty in figuring out how to fill the bath could be improved, but other than that everything was perfect. It’s a wonderful place!

If you prefer simplicity, in-person check-in is recommended. 【Facilities】 The accommodation is very clean. All rooms are equipped with floor heating and individual air conditioners for maximum comfort. Each room has a private toilet and shower (the second-floor room includes a bathtub), ensuring privacy. The living room features high ceilings with an incredible sense of openness; however, while large windows offer great views, there are no blinds in the living area—this may be uncomfortable for some guests despite minimal surroundings. The semi-open-air bath on the first floor is spacious enough to accommodate 3–4 adult men at once comfortably but lacks a changing area (possibly designed for direct use after skiing using the laundry space near the entrance). Note that it’s visible from outside through its windows—likely from neighboring villas—so additional privacy measures would be appreciated. The kitchen is well-equipped with dishes and cooking utensils (though no measuring cup was available). Guests need to bring their own seasonings but will find it highly functional overall. Used dishes can simply be placed into the dishwasher. A baby crib can be borrowed free of charge if requested in advance (floor-sleeping type). Additionally, all rooms feature twin beds; however, according to staff members, they can rearrange them into a double bed layout upon request. 【Check-out】 Guests are told they may leave freely without any formalities at checkout time; however, confirming this process during your stay might provide peace of mind. 【Overall Experience】 The living room sofa was very comfortable to sit on, and we enjoyed watching TV on its large screen—it was an incredibly relaxing stay overall! We look forward to staying here again!

Check-in is between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM. After receiving a brief explanation, the hotel staff left, allowing us to enjoy a completely private space for a luxurious experience. This time, we did not hire a private chef but brought our own wine and food for dinner. Every item and piece of furniture is carefully selected, creating an atmosphere that feels like stepping back in time to a historical drama. You can rent out this incredibly luxurious space exclusively. The bedroom is also meticulously designed, and from the second-floor bedroom, you can wake up to an amazing view of Lake Kawaguchi right in front of you—a perfect location. For Onsen lovers, you can use the Onsen at the nearby Ashiwada Hotel. While I didn’t use it myself, my companion did and said both the indoor bath and open-air bath were fantastic. As for drawbacks, there are no izakayas or shops nearby where you can casually walk out to dine or shop. Renting out this secluded traditional house for multiple nights would make for an exceptionally luxurious trip (this time we stayed one night but would love to stay longer next time when we have more time). Since it’s still newly opened, prices are quite affordable now; however, I predict they will gradually increase over time (it feels too cheap at the moment). We stayed as four adults this time and everyone was extremely satisfied—we’ve already decided to visit again in September! Unfortunately, due to bad weather this trip, we couldn’t try kayaking; next time we hope to challenge ourselves with early morning kayaking while enjoying views of Mount Fuji reflected on the water!

With just the right level of attentiveness and quick responses to our needs, we had a very comfortable stay. While many pet-friendly Facility use resin floor tiles, this one features solid oak flooring, creating a wonderfully relaxing space—and together with the feeling of staying in a natural forest, it was simply perfect. The dinner prepared by the owner was delicious, and they even let us take any leftovers to go, which made us very happy. We would love to stay here again!

Stayed as a family of four. As it’s a private whole-house rental, the interior is spacious and offers plenty of room for a family. Everything is easy to use, and the kitchen, bathroom, and washbasin area are all kept very clean. The support during our stay was exceptionally attentive—besides the Shuttle Service, they even lent us a car. They also introduced us to many nearby restaurants, including a sushi place known only to locals, which really helped us make the most of our time in Goto. At night we enjoyed a bonfire and fireworks, and the starry sky was beautiful. It’s also close to Onidake, so we went up to the foothills for stargazing. There were more stars than we could ever see in Osaka, and we could clearly see the Milky Way. We didn’t request it this time, but we heard that the person who supported us has passed a certification related to stargazing and also works as a guide—observing while learning about the stars sounds like it would be great fun. The area around the Accommodation is very quiet both morning and night. After watching an early-morning FIFA World Cup match, it was truly beautiful to see how it gradually grew lighter outside the window. Because it’s surrounded by nature there are insects, but that’s unavoidable given the location. Even so, we were extremely satisfied with the space, ease of use, surroundings—and especially how supportive they were.

A renovated traditional Japanese house Accommodation located at the top of a mountain road. The old beams and fittings have been preserved or beautifully repurposed, so it doesn’t feel outdated at all. Since the owner built it personally, there are a few small details that may feel slightly unfinished, but the space is very comfortable, with thoughtful touches in the furniture and decor throughout. I asked to change the schedule at short notice, and they kindly accommodated my request, which I truly appreciated. For the barbecue, they also showed us—together with our child—how to prepare the firewood and charcoal, which made our child very happy. It became a wonderful summer memory for us.

The room was clean, and the futon was fluffy and very comfortable! Watching YouTube on the projector felt fresh and out of the ordinary! There was an outdoor bath with adjustable temperature, which felt unique compared to other places! It was great to be able to cook with new kitchen appliances! One concern was that while I thought the 24-hour pool would have its trash and insects removed regularly, it stopped being cleaned midway. Bugs started coming out from the suction area, so I had to remove them with a net, which was quite troublesome. During summer nights, there were so many bugs in the pool that it made it difficult to enjoy swimming at night. That part was a bit disappointing. The BBQ grill had some sticky residue on it; I wasn’t sure if oil had been applied or if it came from previous users’ cooking, so I decided not to use it. I also struggled a bit with figuring out where some of the light switches were located for turning them on and off. Overall rating: very satisfied—4 stars! The amenities were especially impressive with plenty of sparkling water, regular water, tea bags, and instant tea options available—I loved that part!! We used this place for our anniversary this time around—thank you very much!

This was my first time staying here. The Facility is new and very clean, and the sauna in particular was very comfortable, with oils and other items provided. As for the amenities, it was a bit disappointing that the frying pan was old, but there were no inconveniences at all overall, and everything was easy to use.

A very warm family-run accommodation! The host, his wife, and their children were very friendly and approachable, leaving a great impression. Additionally, the bread baked by the wife was exceptional, making for a wonderfully tasteful breakfast. It was such a pleasant accommodation that I would love to stay here again if given the chance. We checked in around 9 PM after watching the Tateshina Lake Fireworks Festival. The gracious master warmly welcomed us. Looking at the wall, there was a jazz live poster. It was a pity that we missed a major artist's live performance by just one day. It's wonderful to have such a big band come to a pension, which is quite charming given the location. We used a room for four people with just the two of us, so it was very spacious. The beds were two single-sized ones, very comfortable with excellent cushioning and performance. The bath was a unit bath like in a regular household, with water replaced for each user, and there were two of them. There was plenty of hot water, which was nice. The toilet was shared, but it had a washlet, so there was no inconvenience. For example, there was no trash can or tissue in the room, but there were high-quality paper towels in the washroom. There was also a free lounge with a refrigerator, microwave, and various tableware that could be used freely, making it a very convenient system once you got used to it. It was a cold night with temperatures dropping below 10°C, but the room heater quietly and comfortably warmed the space. Breakfast was served by the owner couple on a single plate, but the salad with plenty of local vegetables was very fresh and delicious. The bread was all-you-can-eat, so those who want to eat a lot are welcome. Considering the price, I think it's a property with excellent cost performance. Next time, I would love to stay for the live performance. I wish the owner couple continued health and success.
