This was our first visit for a birthday anniversary trip. Everything was outstanding. There are only 13 Rooms, and each is a separate, unique detached villa. The interior is thoughtfully designed down to every detail, spacious and comfortable, and the garden is beautifully maintained, making it a very relaxing stay. As Onsen lovers, we barely had time to rest—we fully enjoyed all seven private baths as well as the bath in our Room. There is no large public bath, but there are six private Onsen baths that you can use freely at any time. The water is free-flowing and feels wonderful. The meals were also beautifully presented with great attention to appearance as well as ingredients—decorated with orchids, stunning to look at, and very generous in portion size. From wagyu beef to lobster and shark fin, it was an incredibly luxurious and delicious dining experience. I recommend arriving with a big appetite. The staff’s hospitality and service were excellent too. We were truly glad we chose this place for our anniversary trip—it’s an Accommodation worth visiting even if you have to fly there. I’d love to come back in another season, and I’m also curious about other Rooms, so I’m sure we’ll return. If you’re unsure where to stay, I highly recommend this place.

Two adults and our child (5 years old) stayed for one night, and it was our first glamping experience. We were all thrilled the moment we saw the breathtaking view from the Room. With so many activities provided, plus relaxing moments like reading in the Room and making coffee, we enjoyed every minute from arrival to check-out without missing a thing. For dinner, they arranged a fun cooking experience with our attendant and our little “chef,” which made everything taste even better than usual. All of the attendants kindly accommodated last-minute requests and interacted naturally with our child, so we were able to stay very comfortably. Thank you so much for such a truly memorable time. (Our child did catch their foot on furniture corners and near the entrance door threshold, but perhaps that’s part of an authentic camping experience—not everything being overly padded or protected. The Room was wonderful, letting us feel the changing expressions of the mountains up close.)

We stayed here on a family trip, and although we arrived too late for dinner, thank you for your kind and accommodating service. It was a shame I couldn’t try the wine. I bought some wine to take home on the way back, and it was delicious. I wish I could have tasted it before buying. Next time, I’d like to enjoy the wine while taking my time over the meal. The Onsen was also great. I would definitely like to visit again.

The meals were outstanding. Dinner met our expectations, and breakfast exceeded them. The vegetables, in particular, looked beautiful and tasted great. The Room was charming, and the bath was spacious and wonderful.

The location was excellent, and everything we needed (and more) was provided. The in-room Facilities were great, very clean, and made for a comfortable stay. At check-in, the staff kindly guided us to the private beach and even told us the names of the goats on the property and their family relationships, which was a lovely touch. The outdoor pool was spacious and deep enough, and we were able to relax by the poolside while looking out at the ocean. It became a truly memorable trip to Ishigaki Island.

We stayed to celebrate my father’s 80th birthday. We had dinner at arco on the 42nd floor. They prepared a dessert plate, and my father was very happy. The website said we could see fireworks from the 42nd floor, so we made a Reservation, but unfortunately they were not visible from the restaurant. (However, after leaving the restaurant, we were able to see them briefly from the lobby.) We also had breakfast at arco the next morning, and the Tsuno sparkling wine and cheese were delicious. My mother especially enjoyed the galette. The ocean view from our Room was wonderful, and I’m grateful that we could do something meaningful for my parents. We would love to visit again.

Although the weather was unfortunately cloudy with occasional squall-like showers and brief sunny spells during our stay, we were still able to fully enjoy the resort atmosphere. The location is just over an hour from Naha Airport, making it a great base for getting anywhere. Highly recommended in every respect—Facility, dining, and service.

We stayed here on a trip with a family we know, and it was wonderful as always. We’ve stayed several times, so both my wife and I can relax with peace of mind—this is our favorite hot spring Accommodation. The family staying with us was also very satisfied, making it the perfect vacation. Since one of our group had difficulty walking, we truly appreciate you accommodating our various requests. Thank you for your thoughtful emails even before our stay. On the day, our flight was suddenly canceled and we had to take the ferry, but you quickly adjusted the rental car arrangements. The food was cooked right in front of us, and both the taste and portions were excellent; the drinks were delicious too. The hot spring water quality was great, and we were able to truly relax in both body and mind. Everything was perfect!

Japanese-style double Room with breakfast and dinner included. I also requested a pick-up from Yamagata Station. On the way back, I took the bus to Yamagata Station from the Zao Onsen Bus Terminal, just a few minutes’ walk away. I arrived early, but was able to leave my luggage and explore freely. The staff member who assisted me felt unexpectedly curt, which seemed different from the Reviews. The person who showed me to my Room also didn’t seem to notice a fairly large dead insect right by the door when it was opened. That was disappointing. I was very satisfied with the Room, meals, and baths. The entire building is covered with tatami mats and you take off your shoes, which feels great, and everything was well maintained. All staff were pleasant in both their service and greetings. Since the baths switch between men and women, you can use both areas; I enjoyed the warm feel of wood and traditional atmosphere. Some Reviews said it was small, but as a woman I didn’t find it cramped since there weren’t too many people using it at once. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious—I finished everything. The Yamagata beef shabu-shabu was truly excellent. There is a portable air conditioner in the Room (I think), but because its duct runs out through the window, the top of the window doesn’t close completely tight; I couldn’t help noticing that gap. I saw a similar setup in the lounge as well, so I assumed it’s installed as a measure against summer heat. There is no elevator—only stairs—which I actually liked very much. Around this time of year we could hear spring cicadas (maybe), which was soothing. From the entrance you can see a gentle slope leading down to the main road, along with steam rising from the Onsen—an impressive location. It’s a small but comfortable Accommodation with a warm atmosphere—thank you very much.

I heard this is the oldest property in Reggina. The building did feel a bit dated, but it was kept very clean. The bedding was comfortable and I slept well. The staff were especially wonderful. Reggina is consistently pet-first, which made us feel at ease. Both dinner and breakfast were Japanese-style and very delicious.

We visited as a couple to relax and enjoy the Onsen at a leisurely pace. It’s less than a 10-minute walk from the station to the Accommodation. You can request pick-up, but we chose to walk and soak in the atmosphere. The Room was spacious enough for two, and you can enjoy views including the sea through the large window. The in-room Onsen bath was more than sufficient, but we also reserved a private bath so we could have a large Onsen all to ourselves. It happened to be firefly-viewing season, so we enjoyed it with Shuttle Service included. The meals were incredibly delicious—an extensive menu centered on seafood, vegetables, and mountain produce. The sashimi was outstanding, and breakfast deserves special mention: miso soup made with broth from the spiny lobster shells from dinner and black rice were exceptional. This is a small Accommodation with attentive staff—perfect for enjoying the Onsen, nearby walks, and great food. We had a truly luxurious one-night stay. P.S. For those considering staying: due to structural reasons, loud noises in neighboring Rooms can be heard, and any loud noise you make will likely carry as well. If that doesn’t bother you, you’ll be able to enjoy a relaxing stay in a quiet environment away from tourist areas with few people around.

I stayed in a KASE Room for two nights. The interior design, furnishings, and bath were excellent. The larger furniture and bathtub may be especially comfortable for taller or bigger guests. Communication regarding the Reservation was very kind and helpful. Dinner on the first night was a French course meal, and contrary to my expectations (my apologies), it was outstanding. It was served at the affiliated steakhouse next door, and the main meat dish truly shined—it was delicious (you can also charge it to your Room). On the second night, I didn’t want to eat at the same restaurant again, so they introduced nearby dining options. They recommended as many as 12 places with details and Shuttle Service from the Hotel included. I chose an Italian restaurant and was very satisfied. Breakfast was plentiful, healthy, and delicious. I couldn’t fully enjoy the private open-air bath due to unfortunate weather, but that can’t be helped. The staff service was thoughtful and pleasant throughout. A Keith Haring museum—one I have long been a fan of—is right next door, which I really enjoyed. The Hotel also displays Haring’s works. I visited the Hakushu Distillery (the main purpose of my trip). There is a shuttle bus from Kobuchizawa Station, and I could also request Shuttle Service from the Hotel to Kobuchizawa. Overall, I am extremely satisfied. Thank you very much.

The Room was spacious and lovely, and the meals were wonderful with thoughtful touches. The staff were friendly, and it made for an excellent stay. We had been looking forward to the open-air bath, but at night many small moths flew in and I couldn’t use it. I understand it can’t be helped in a forest setting, but it was disappointing. It’s not a place we can visit often, but it’s a Hotel we definitely want to return to. Thank you very much.

This is our third stay. The Room, the bath, and the entire Facility are always clean and very comfortable. We enjoy both dinner and breakfast—they are delicious. Every year, after visiting our family grave in our hometown, we stay here. This Accommodation makes our family feel, “Alright—let’s do our best so we can come back again next year.”

Although it’s a secluded Accommodation deep in the mountains, it’s relatively easy to access by car and not difficult to reach. The Accommodation features classic, traditional Japanese architecture, yet it feels clean and has been thoughtfully renovated for comfort and ease of use. It was clear how much care goes into its upkeep, which I truly admire. The surrounding nature is lush, and the greenery and gentle sound of the river are very soothing. That said, the bedding mattress felt a bit firm for me personally, which was a small minus point (I didn’t wake up sore the next morning, so this is purely my personal impression). The hot spring source is around 37°C and lukewarm, but there are also heated baths, so it wasn’t an issue. If I had one wish: since I’m not fond of lukewarm water, I would have liked the heated tub to be larger. Meals were mainly simple countryside dishes, but everything was very delicious. Younger guests might find it a little light; in that case, I recommend ordering additional dishes. For us it was just the right amount—and we could get refills of rice—so we were very satisfied. Many of the staff were young, but they were always smiling and pleasant, with excellent attentiveness and consideration. This is an outstanding Accommodation that makes Japanese guests feel at ease—I hope it never changes. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

My wife and I visited from Kyoto. As it had not been long since the renovation, everything was very clean, and we had a comfortable one-night stay. The open-air bath in the guest room lets you fill it yourself—add cold water if it’s too hot, or add hot water if it’s too cool—so you can adjust the temperature to your liking. Both the hot and cold water flow were plentiful, making it a truly stress-free Onsen experience that’s hard to find. The meals were also excellent; each dish was thoughtfully prepared, and I felt the chef must be very talented. If I had to mention one minor complaint, it would have been perfect if we could have seen Mt. Aso clearly from the bath, but I understand that can’t always be helped.

The natural Onsen was very clean, with an alkaline spring quality that felt silky-smooth and wonderfully soothing. I used it three times. Since I could check availability, I was able to enjoy it privately without sharing with others.

The kids’ meals and amenities were excellent, and the Facility environment was wonderful for keeping children entertained. The kids’ room is open 24 hours, so even children who wake up early and are full of energy could enjoy themselves to the fullest. When our older grandchild fell ill on the second day, you were a tremendous help—preparing gentle-on-the-stomach meals and promptly taking care of the bedding. The adults who enjoy drinks also thoroughly enjoyed the all-inclusive plan. We would love to visit again. Just one request: we would feel safer if an additional lock for access to the open-air bath and footbath area could be installed higher up as well. Our 4-year-old can unlock doors on their own, and we felt anxious about them accidentally stepping out onto the terrace and potentially falling into the river. Thank you for considering this.

For our annual summer trip as a couple, we made a Reservation at this Accommodation, which we had long wanted to visit. Although the Accommodation is surrounded by the sea, it was calm with very little ocean scent, and the sea breeze felt fresh and pleasant. There are only four Rooms, and after researching in advance, we Reserved a Room close to the deck and the sea—exactly the location we loved. Inside, there was a faint woody aroma. With features like a raised tatami area and subtle variations in the wood grain flooring design, it was simple yet extremely comfortable. It’s a small detail, but I was also happy that they had a high-quality hair iron available. For activities, we tried SUP and the sunset cruise. Even though it was cloudy, it wasn’t too hot—which actually made it easier to enjoy both experiences fully. My husband also enjoyed listening to records on the audio system in the lobby (I think). We had planned to watch the stars by a bonfire after dinner, but unfortunately the weather didn’t cooperate. However, one of the staff kindly prepared sparklers for us instead, and we were able to enjoy them quietly. The meals were course-style dishes that reflected glimpses of unique ideas from the local-born head chef. It was fun even imagining what would come next just from reading the menu. Everything was thoughtfully prepared and delicious; perhaps because of their background in Japanese cuisine as well, I found the dashi-based soup especially outstanding. Also, although everyone working in the kitchen seemed young, they created such a pleasant atmosphere—and each person appeared well trained in their specialty. It was a short trip, but we enjoyed an escape from everyday life and felt refreshed. I think we can go back to work with renewed energy. It was such a wonderful Accommodation that we’d love to return again in another season.
