The Ryokan staff were very attentive, and the food was excellent. I would love to stay again if I have the opportunity.

I stayed for one night and two days with my dog. The staff kindly explained how to use the Facility, such as the shower and stove, so I was able to spend my time comfortably without any inconvenience. I think it would be enjoyable in a different atmosphere in another season as well. Thank you very much.

We stayed as three families and booked three villas. Each villa had a lovely Room, and we had a very comfortable stay. The complimentary drinks and snacks at the management building were also a nice touch. Since it was still a bit early for ocean activities, we brought our own fishing gear and relaxed. The staff kindly arranged the setup so all three families could dine together, and we had a great time sharing BBQ, bouillabaisse, and sushi. We were worried dinner might not be enough, so we bought extra meat beforehand, but it turned out to be more than enough—everything was delicious. The clam miso soup served with the sushi was especially outstanding. Breakfast was also stylish, with bagels as the main item on the plate, and it tasted great. However, for children who don’t like bagels or for my father who has dental issues, they were too hard to eat—so it would be nice to have a choice of several options such as croissants or French toast. The yogurt was plain with no sweetness, so fruit yogurt or jam served on the side would be appreciated. The Room was comfortable overall, and both the beds and futons felt wonderful. One small inconvenience was that there wasn’t a place to hang bath towels; having one behind the sink would be helpful. There were hangers and a rack, but once we hung jackets and clothes it was full. Since swimwear is required in Rooms with an outdoor bath, I think additional hangers and space to dry wet swimsuits are necessary. I’ve noted some points here, but overall this was an excellent Accommodation and we would love to visit again. All staff members were kind and responded thoughtfully to our requests. Thank you very much for everything.

A favorite place we keep returning to as a family. It feels like going back home. We love the food and the warm personalities of the owners. This time, we stayed to celebrate our second daughter's birthday, and the owner kindly joined in the celebration, which made our daughter very happy. Thank you so much, and we will visit again!

I’m always satisfied with the seasonal dishes. The sweetfish sashimi and salt-grilled sweetfish were delicious. The charcoal-grilled Omi beef I love was also outstanding. For breakfast, the proprietress’s homemade mountain-vegetable side dishes were perfect with the tasty rice. A quiet Accommodation where you can truly escape from everyday life.

We made a Reservation for this Accommodation as our first trip away with our child just before starting weaning foods. Just as other Reviews said, both dinner and breakfast were very generous, and everything looked and tasted amazing—this alone made us glad we stayed here. The amenities were also very well stocked, and since we mentioned when booking that we had an infant, they prepared not only adult items but also baby lotion and more, which we really appreciated. If there’s one thing to note, we drove to the Accommodation but the route was a bit hard to follow and we got slightly lost before arriving, so it may be helpful to check the directions in advance.

We stayed as a couple in our 50s. Rather than a Hotel, it feels more like a charming pension-style place, which suits it well. The front desk gave the impression that they may be operating more efficiently than before, and that’s perfectly fine. The staff were all ladies older than us, so the pace was a bit relaxed—but in an endearing way. It felt warm and comfortable. The Room was spacious, with Lake Biwa stretching out beyond the window. Since this area tends to feel cold, even in April they had a heater and blankets prepared. We chose the Omi beef steak course. From the photos I wondered if it might not be enough, but it was very filling and satisfying. For breakfast, we were happy to be able to choose either Japanese or Western style. The curry was especially delicious! The bath is not an Onsen, but it was kept very clean. We went to see the Osaki cherry blossoms by the inlet. Next time, I’d love to visit again during the season when the metasequoia trees are at their best.

The food, the bath, and the view from the bath were all outstanding. The staff were also very polite and kind, which we really appreciated. While we were having a barbecue, an incredibly cute, friendly cat with limited mobility came over—it was so comforting. If possible, we hope the staff can take it in and make sure it gets proper food.

This was my first stay, and it was simply wonderful. The Accommodation is old, but the amenities and Facility are well equipped. Having a cold-water pitcher in addition to the tea set was especially helpful. Being able to quickly drink cold water after the Onsen felt great. They also offer a free aroma diffuser rental, and I slept very well with the relaxing scent. The Room was more than spacious enough for just my husband and me, and it was spotless and clean. The staff were also very pleasant—nothing to complain about! Because it was during summer vacation season, the breakfast buffet was extremely crowded and a bit tiring, but aside from that everything was excellent, and it became an Accommodation I definitely want to stay at again. After my stay, I accidentally left something behind in the Room. Thank you for your kind help when I called—it arrived safely. I’m sorry for the trouble. Next time, I’d love to return with No Meals Included. Highly recommended. There are so many good points that I can’t write them all here, but I definitely want to visit again—thank you in advance when that time comes.

Less than a 20-minute drive from Uwajima Station, the property is set in a lush green valley with wonderfully clear air. The calm, attentive staff handle everything from reception to table service. Meals feature creative dishes made with locally sourced ingredients, beautifully presented and just the right amount for someone with a small appetite like me. For drinks, you can enjoy an affordable three-glass tasting set of both wine and sake. The Onsen was quite hot, so I couldn’t soak for long (laugh). It was also a bit disappointing that early-morning bathing wasn’t available.

We stayed here during the three-day holiday weekend in July. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious. The cute little touches throughout made us smile. The massage chair was also very relaxing. In addition, the host’s hospitality was excellent, and my companion said it was wonderful as well. Thank you very much.

We stayed here for a Multiple Night Stay about a week ago. The Room was the perfect size for two, with simple yet refined interiors and a very clean feel. The bath was made of wood, so we were able to enjoy a relaxing and wonderful soak without even going to an Onsen. Since our Room had a kitchen, we cooked and ate ingredients we bought at a roadside station. In the beautifully maintained garden with great views, there were benches and tables, so we had breakfast there and truly enjoyed it while feeling close to nature—it was very satisfying. At night, we could also gaze at Aso’s quiet, beautiful starry sky. What made our stay even better was how wonderful the owner is as a person. They were genuinely kind and thoughtfully suggested travel plans in Kumamoto and Miyazaki tailored to us. They also introduced us to truly delicious restaurants and lovely places that you can’t find in guidebooks or on Instagram. (Actually, during our trip in Aso I lost my engagement ring, and because on the last day we returned to Aso after visiting Takachiho Gorge, we were able to go to the recommended bakery and Oshitoishi Hill—and miraculously, I found my engagement ring!) The rice balls made from their carefully selected rice were also exceptional. Thank you for giving us such wonderful memories in Aso. We would love to stay again!

[Hospitality & Service] The Facility staff were kind, friendly, easy to talk to, and truly wonderful. When the fire wouldn’t light, they helped right away, and the next morning they even came over to check on us. From check-in to check-out, their warm and refreshing service made us feel great throughout our stay. (I could tell the moment we arrived that the staff were genuinely nice—haha.) [Room] Both inside and outside the Room were unbelievably clean. The bath was spacious and relaxing, and the air conditioning worked perfectly—“comfortable” is exactly the right word. *My friend said the floor in the Room was so clean, cool, and pleasant that he slept on it even though there was a bed—lol.* Everything we used within the Facility was spotless, so you can really tell how much care goes into every detail. [Other] I honestly have no complaints at all, but if I had to mention just three things: 1) It might be nice to have a TV or something in the Facility? → Since you can enjoy BBQ until night, I personally didn’t need one because it’s great just soaking up the atmosphere—but some guests might head back to their Room earlier. 2) The reception location (at check-in) → It’s not particularly hard to find, but since reception is on the opposite side of the main road, having a sign or clearer guidance might help. (There was information online.) 3) This is such a great Facility that I’d love for you to upload more photos!!! → It was even better than what I expected from the listing photos, so I ended up being pleasantly surprised and very satisfied. [Finally] This time I happened to see “Hikone Lakeside Resort KOMOREVILLAGO” recommended and made a Reservation—but it made me want it to become more well-known because it’s such a place worth supporting. It feels like it will keep developing further as well, so I’m really looking forward to what’s next—haha. I know it must be tough at times, but I hope you keep going strong. Thank you for providing such a comfortable space!!

I stayed at this Accommodation during the summer season.\nThe entire building had undergone major renovations, and it was very clean, making for a comfortable stay.\nThe food was delicious, and the chef-made omelets at the breakfast buffet were outstanding.\nIn addition to the large public bath, there was also a private family bath, and I could use the free massage chairs. After bathing, it was wonderful to cool off in the evening on the balcony on the third floor while enjoying a beer.\nIn winter, staying in the Ichinose area offers better access to the ski resort, so I would love to stay here again if I have another chance during summer.

The rooms are spacious, and the decor and furniture are tasteful, making it a very relaxing Hotel. Many of the staff members are from overseas, but they are extremely kind, attentive, and pleasant. Even those who aren't fluent in Japanese make an effort to communicate warmly. The Hotel's cozy size gives it a charming atmosphere that feels like being in a small town abroad. It was an enjoyable experience. The food is delicious but lacks delicacy; its dynamic style adds to the international vibe and makes it even more fun. I would love to stay here again!

We stayed as a family of four, including a couple and two children. The staff were very courteous and made our stay extremely enjoyable. We appreciated them preparing fishing bait for us and cooking the fish we caught. Each dish was incredibly delicious, though dinner portions seemed slightly small for the men in our group. Next time, we would love to stay for two nights during the pool season.

We visited as a family trip. Because we arrived late, we checked in, picked up the welcome sweets, took a look at our Room, and then headed to the Onsen. The outdoor bath “Shirogane-no-Yu” was wonderful—my skin felt so moisturized! We stayed in a Villa Suite. It’s a log-cabin cottage style Accommodation, and the Room was spacious, very clean, and truly relaxing. There aren’t any paintings or decorations in the Room, but the sky, mountains, and trees seen through the window feel like a framed work of art—I could watch it forever (laugh). It made me realize how long it had been since I lived without thinking about time. For dinner we went to Restaurant Aoyama Ryokusui. You can enjoy dishes that reflect Oze’s nature, such as game meat and wild mountain vegetables. Even while waiting for the next course, staff brought ingredients to show us, so we enjoyed the time between dishes as well. Before bed we went to another Onsen inside the Facility. We were told it uses the same water as Shirogane-no-Yu, and it was perfect for a slow soak at night. The next morning we drove to Shiori Pass to see Takigumo (waterfall clouds). We were lucky enough to see them! Waking up early was worth it. It’s just a short drive from the Facility, so I highly recommend it. Breakfast included seasonal vegetables and wild mountain plants as well as river fish—and above all, the rice was delicious! Many of the staff are young, but everyone was polite and greeted us with warm smiles, which helped us relax throughout our stay. If you arrive earlier there also seems to be a kitchen tour; I’d love to join next time if I have the chance. Honestly, my only thought is that I wish we could have stayed longer… We definitely want to come back!

I’d been looking forward to the opening of La Vista Minami Aso and stayed during the pre-opening period. The previous Hotel also offered a magnificent, expansive view of Mt. Aso, and while that scenery remains unchanged, the interiors and Facility have been completely renewed. I was able to fully enjoy Aso in comfort—from the spacious lobby and Room to the baths. A few small notes: For the welcome drink in the lobby after check-in, I had coffee, but it would be even better if beer were available earlier (not only from 6:00 p.m.) and if decaf coffee were offered. As for dining, dinner was a La Vista–style course meal and breakfast was a buffet. Both featured many ingredients from Kumamoto Prefecture, and everything was delicious. I’d be happy if the breakfast buffet had a slightly wider dessert selection. The baths were wonderful as well—great views of Aso from the large public bath, plus private baths and a sauna. The post-bath ice cream and massage chairs were also a nice touch. It was disappointing that the probiotic milk drinks (Yakult) ran out quickly during my morning bath. The late-night ramen service common to Kyoritsu Resort was delicious (if I may be indulgent, I’d love it if there were two varieties like in Kirishima). Since it was during the pre-opening period, there may have been some areas where staff were still getting used to things; however, their sincere effort really came through. Wishing you all the best toward the grand opening. I’d love to stay again.

This was my third stay, and it was just as amazing as ever! In a wonderful space, we could truly enjoy delicious food, and the hospitality was outstanding—an Accommodation that makes you want to come back every year. In fact, we really do visit every year. Haha. We’re already looking forward to next year! Thank you very much.

I stayed here the night before a golf outing the next day. It was my first time, so I was a bit anxious, but the front desk staff were very kind and courteous, which was a great help. Both the Room and bathroom were thoroughly cleaned and felt very fresh, and there was also a sauna bath, so I could relax and enjoy my stay. If I have the opportunity, I would like to stay here again.
