Although it was my first trip to Gifu and I arrived in the rain with a typhoon approaching, the Hotel was exactly as expected. The views between the Nagara River and Mt. Kinka—worthy of “Tenka Fubu”—along with the Onsen, meals, and wonderful hospitality were all excellent. Inside the Hotel, I even got to meet Nohime, making it an unforgettable trip. I would love to stay again.

I stayed here two years ago and it was amazing. This time, even though it was raining due to back-to-back typhoons, it didn’t matter at all—our stay was wonderful again. I heard the interior was fully renovated about a year and a half ago, and the Room has been updated with a modern feel. It’s stairs up to around the 5th floor, but each step is low, so getting around isn’t difficult. Our two dogs get excited the moment they arrive when they like an Accommodation, and they were thrilled this time as well. They even used the provided toilet just like at home. Since they’re timid, we didn’t use the dog run. I tried three Onsen baths, and all of them were perfect—the temperature was just right. The food is simply outstanding. The sashimi is expertly prepared, and there’s more than enough overall—I couldn’t finish everything. I especially love how Shiki no Kura serves abalone, and it was truly delicious again this time. Even compared with top Hotels and Ryokan across The whole country, this place ranks among the best. Breakfast was also excellent: a selection of side dishes that anyone would enjoy paired with rice cooked in a clay pot. The staff’s guidance and conversation were great, as were their thoughtful touches in the Room. After breakfast I took a nap and checked out at 11:00—honestly, I relaxed even more than my dogs did. The building itself does feel old in places; when I wiped the floor it came up dirty. But everywhere has something these days due to staffing shortages, so it didn’t bother me. If I had to mention one thing, it would be that prices fluctuate quite a bit during Kawazu cherry blossom season and other peak times. If it were always reasonably priced, I’d make this my regular go-to (laugh). I will definitely be back again.

It was an outstanding Hotel in every way! For lunch, I had ramen at the Hotel, and it was delicious with three slices of tender seared chashu pork. The Onsen and sauna were also excellent! Every meal was delicious, and even the bread was unbelievably good!

To be honest, I stayed without high expectations, but overall it was a very pleasant stay. The Room was spacious and clean, and the meals were delicious. The service was attentive. Relaxing in the Onsen helped me unwind and recover from daily fatigue. I would like to stay again if I have the opportunity. Thank you very much.

All the staff were incredibly kind, and it was a warm, welcoming place. You can take a walk to Muruku Beach, and it’s also conveniently located for driving to sightseeing spots such as Kahou Banta. The time spent gazing at the ocean from the Room was wonderful. There are only stairs, but the staff carried all of our luggage, which was a great help. I will definitely stay here again when visiting Okinawa. Thank you very much.

I enjoyed soaking in Zao Onsen’s strongly acidic, milky-white water with a distinct sulfur scent—this is what an Onsen should be like. Since it’s an old building, there are countless flaws if you start pointing them out, so I stayed while telling myself that’s just how it is. The staff work hard, but not at a level that truly impresses. The meals featured many local specialties and were good, but the rice—the most important part—was too firm at dinner and far too soft at breakfast. This Accommodation is recommended for those who love Onsen.

It was a wonderful Accommodation. The staff’s service was very pleasant and made us feel truly comfortable. Their efforts for guests and thoughtful hospitality felt warmly sincere. It is a wonderful Accommodation where you can truly relax. We would love to visit again if we have the chance. It was our first time staying in Nasu, and it became a lovely memory for us. In particular, the male attendant’s lighthearted talk at dinner made everyone smile and created a relaxed atmosphere. Thank you very much. We also visited for an anniversary, and we were very happy to receive such a lovely gift. In fact, we just celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary. Thank you again for all your kindness and care. We will cherish it and use it with gratitude.

This was our last trip of the year. We were fully satisfied with this Ryokan in every way—the cuisine, the Onsen, and the kind hospitality of the staff. There was only one small issue, but it was addressed promptly. We would like to continue coming here in the future.

I made a Reservation because this is an Accommodation where you can stay with pets, but I think it is wonderful even without a pet. There was none of the bustle you might find at a large Ryokan, and the Accommodation was located in a quiet villa area not far from Jogasaki Coast. As I wanted a Room where meals could be served in a private dining space, I stayed this time in the Room called “Akane.” This Room had an exceptionally spacious layout with a living area, dining area, and bedroom, and it was very comfortable to relax in. The staff were also gentle and kind, allowing us to spend a peaceful time together as a family. The food was so plentiful we could hardly finish it—a creative course meal that truly felt like an escape from everyday life—and everything was delicious and very satisfying. I also appreciated how carefully they confirmed any ingredients we do not like in advance, making this an Accommodation I would love to visit again. We were told the outdoor open-air bath uses water drawn from Atagawa’s hot spring source; the temperature was perfect, and I enjoyed it many times during our stay. Unfortunately, we did not have good weather during our visit, which was the only disappointment. I will come back for another try at enjoying the open-air bath while watching the sunrise. Next time, I would like to stay for two nights at a leisurely pace. Thank you very much.

We stayed here as a family of four—my husband, my mother, my son, and me. There is a supermarket called Himawari Market nearby, as well as a bakery called TRIFFLE, so we had no trouble at all even without meals included at the Accommodation. The bed sheets were soft and comfortable, and we really enjoyed staying in this log cabin with its clean wooden scent! Thank you very much. We would love to stay again!

Our family of three (two adults and one older elementary school child) stayed here. The Facility was exceptionally well maintained throughout—spotlessly clean and beautiful everywhere. It was a wonderful place I can confidently recommend to others! Here are the highlights that impressed us, along with a couple of small points we noticed. ◯ Highlights Beautifully balanced meals: The ingredients prepared in the refrigerator were the perfect amount—not too much, not too little. The colors and presentation were lovely, everything felt very clean, and we were excited even before eating. The selection of complimentary drinks included in the Accommodation Fee was also excellent! User-friendly kitchen: The dining kitchen was spacious and easy to move around in, and the grill was simple to use, making cooking fun. A fully equipped authentic spa: Not only a bath, but also a sauna and cold plunge pool—an incredibly relaxing experience. ◯ With hopes for future improvements (why we rated 4 stars) The boundary between indoors and outdoors on the way to the open-air bath was very slippery, so we placed towels down ourselves as a precaution. Guests with small children or elderly family members may want to be especially careful. Moving between the Room, toilet, bath, and dining area requires outdoor footwear throughout, but we found the provided shoes a bit difficult to wear. More slip-on options would make it even more comfortable. That said, our overall satisfaction was extremely high—so much so that these minor points hardly mattered—and it became a great memory for us. We would love to stay again!

This was my third stay, returning for the first time in a year. Even though it had been a while since my last visit, everything was just as I remembered—you welcomed me warmly like family, and I truly appreciate your heartfelt hospitality. The Room is comfortable and easy to relax in, and the Onsen has exceptional water quality. I was also delighted that checkout has been extended to 11:00. Above all, my favorite part is the food. Even though Nagano Prefecture isn’t on the coast, I was able to fully enjoy wonderfully fresh seafood, making this a very satisfying stay. The only downside is that it’s quite remote, so it’s difficult to visit frequently. But I heard you’re planning to build new villas as well, so I’ll definitely come back to see everyone again! Thank you so much for taking such great care of me this time too.

Spending time surrounded by uncompromising, carefully curated interiors and decor was truly exceptional. On this trip, everyone was a beer lover, so we worried we might run out—but that concern was unnecessary. The taste was outstanding as well. Also, it’s rare to find an Accommodation where four dogs can stay like ours, so in that sense too it’s a very valuable Accommodation. As expected, there were a lot of insects in summer, so next time we’ll stay outside the summer season. We brought every kind of strong insect repellent in advance, including hangable repellents for the balcony, but in the end the mosquito coils provided as Facility amenities worked best. Since I really can’t handle insects, this was a huge help. Thank you very much.

They kindly accommodated our last-minute visit. Both the Room and the bath were clean and comfortable, so we’d like to visit again during ski season.

While it is not as luxurious as a Resort Hotel, it was a comfortable Hotel where we could relax while trekking and sightseeing on Yakushima. Compared with guesthouses, our privacy was better maintained, and we were able to spend our time calmly. The staff were kind, and we had a pleasant stay. There were also tasteful souvenirs displayed inside the building, which was fun to browse. From the Room, we could enjoy an ocean view—sunrise in the morning and a starry sky at night. It is a Hotel where you can unwind while feeling close to Yakushima’s nature.

Our family of five (four adults and our third son, 1 year and 9 months old) stayed here. We had been looking forward to this trip for a long time, but the weather on the day was terrible—so bad we were caught in a sudden torrential downpour. The heavy rain made visibility poor on the way to the Facility, and it was still pouring at check-in, but thanks to the staff’s kind and careful guidance, we were able to get into our dome tent safely. Unfortunately, the bonfire event planned at the center was canceled, but that couldn’t be helped given the weather. Even so, the Facility offered a rainy-day-only service of lending a projector free of charge (normally 1,000 yen). Thanks to that thoughtful gesture, our kids never got bored and we were able to enjoy glamping in a way that only a rainy day can offer. By the time we headed to the large public bathhouse, the rain had stopped for a while and there were few other guests. The men’s bath (with our kids) and women’s bath (for my wife) each felt like private use. We could relax without worrying about anyone else—and for our 1-year-9-month-old son it was his very first large public bath. Seeing him enjoy it without being scared put smiles on all of our faces. Even at night the weather remained unsettled—rain on and off with occasional thunder—but we couldn’t give up on seeing the stars. After putting our youngest to sleep, we took it easy with coffee. When I stepped outside around 3:00 a.m., all the clouds had cleared away, revealing an unbelievably beautiful sky full of stars. Countless stars shone brightly—far more than you could ever see in town—and I felt staying up late was truly worth it. On another note, perhaps because of the heavy rain, a few millipedes found their way into our house tent area and our older two boys made quite a fuss in the middle of night (laughs). We ended up slightly sleep-deprived, but now it has become one more funny family story—something that comes with being surrounded by nature. In the morning we woke up to birdsong. The fresh air made for an incredibly pleasant start to day—a luxurious moment you can’t experience in everyday life. The previous day’s bonfire had been canceled as an event, but they kindly arranged for each house area to enjoy one until 8:30 a.m. next morning instead. Watching fire while drinking coffee and reading was exactly what I’d hoped for. We enjoyed both dinner and breakfast together as family on deck in front of house area; meals eaten in nature are something special every time—and everything was delicious. Even after returning home,we kept talking about how much we'd love come back again."

This trip was both our summer getaway and a birthday celebration. It was our first time in Aizu, and we stayed at Urabandai Lake Resort, Geihinkan Nekoma Rikyu. The bath exclusively for guests of Geihinkan Nekoma Rikyu included an open-air bath, wasn’t crowded, and allowed us to relax and fully enjoy the Onsen. The meals at the French restaurant were not buffet-style for either dinner or breakfast, so we could take our time, and everything was delicious. We were able to truly enjoy an extraordinary escape. Being able to stay quietly throughout the Hotel, including the bathing area, was truly wonderful. There was no noisy atmosphere—perfect for an adult Hotel stay. If I had one comment… the signal in our Room was weak and we couldn’t use our phones. I would be happy if this could be improved. Unfortunately it rained the next day, so we’d like to visit again on a nice sunny day. Thank you very much for celebrating my birthday as well.

We used the round-trip shuttle bus from Kashikojima. Everyone at the front desk and in the dining area was kind, which made our stay very pleasant. There was a wide variety of dishes, and everything was delicious. In the playroom, we could enjoy board games and table tennis, so our grandchildren didn’t get bored while waiting for the return bus. Both the building and the Facility felt a bit old, but it gave us the impression that everything was thoroughly cleaned. The nearby sea at Jirokuro Coast is famous for its beautiful waters. Next time, I’d like to invite friends and enjoy a relaxing resort trip here. There were many clouds, so we couldn’t see the stars or moon clearly during nighttime stargazing. I’ll look forward to that next time as well.

It was a wonderful stay. It was a hot day, but we had fun exploring by cart even though we were sweating a lot. After that, we used the Onsen in the Hotel building. There were two types of baths, and we really enjoyed both the milky-white water and the other bath as well. The complimentary drinks after the Onsen were also delicious, which made us very happy. Dinner BBQ was tough because, as expected, there were lots of insects drawn to the lights and it was very hot. We cooked outside but ate indoors, which still felt like quite a challenge. However, the food quality and portion size were excellent! I would love it if you could consider offering catering dinner options other than BBQ. Breakfast was beautifully presented, and we enjoyed it both visually and taste-wise. The Room was well stocked with various insect sprays and repellents for bug prevention. The bath area, sink area, and toilet were all spacious and easy to use. Because the sofa is so large, it made the Room feel smaller—so I wondered if it might be unnecessary. That said, it is helpful when four people are staying together. It was a pleasant surprise that a bag with dog treats and dog supplies was provided and could be taken home. It has been extremely useful as our walking bag. With such a large garden and wide wooden deck, it was hard to relax outside during the hot season, so I’d like to visit again in a different season.

Everything—from the cuisine and the Onsen to the private dining room prepared for our meals—was wonderful, and we were able to truly relax from the bottom of our hearts. The food in particular was exceptional; each dish reflected careful craftsmanship, leaving us deeply satisfied. Above all, the Onsen was truly outstanding, and we enjoyed it three times during our stay. The water felt wonderfully gentle on the skin, bringing a soothing warmth that seemed to melt away tension from deep within. We were able to fully savor the blessings of Yugawara’s hot springs. The comforting afterglow lingered long after bathing—it was a genuinely healing experience. Thanks to you, this became a very memorable stay. We would love to visit again.
