My family visiting from overseas stayed for two nights. When they arrived in Japan, it was unfortunately raining and they were tired from jet lag, so they didn’t have enough time to fully enjoy the BBQ, outdoor bath, or sauna, but they seemed to have a comfortable stay. They took walks around the neighborhood in the morning and evening and even walked to Taito Beach, and said they were able to relax. If we have another chance, I’d like them to stay longer and enjoy everything more fully.

We thoroughly enjoyed delicious local mountain vegetables and river fish, paired with sake that complemented them perfectly. It was an Accommodation where we could truly feel time slow down, and one we would love to visit again in a different season.

I had reserved a twin room, but it was set up with a king-size bed, so I checked with the front desk. They confirmed it was a setup mistake and promptly corrected the bed arrangement. Since I needed to head out right away, I couldn’t take it, but their offer of complimentary coffee was also excellent. The service of providing free drinks in the in-room refrigerator, including alcohol, was wonderful as well. I would definitely like to stay again.

This Accommodation near Kofu City was exactly what we were looking for: pet-friendly, not in the middle of town, and reasonably priced. It’s a Japanese-style building from the late Showa era, and it felt like coming home to our family house. It was actually more space than needed for just the two of us and our small dog, but it has been well maintained—old yet clean—and we were able to relax in a calm, unhurried atmosphere. The staff and the owners (a couple) were very friendly and welcoming. Our pet settled in right away and happily interacted with them. We also really enjoyed chatting with local people—it was a rare treat for us. The meals featured local ingredients, including delicious miso soup made with homemade miso, which truly reminded us how special traveling can be.

A favorite place! Owners can relax, enjoy healthy and delicious meals, and be soothed by the beautiful scenery, while dogs can experience an extraordinary time off-leash. The joy isn't just about the meat—the vegetables were incredibly tasty, and the morning fruits were a delightful treat. The rice was so delicious that it made us crave steaming bowls of it. I even wished there was a vegetable and fruit assortment to take home as souvenirs! The owner is wonderfully bright and friendly with a warm personality. This glamping facility is filled with thoughtful touches everywhere. I'll definitely visit again!

Since it was a weekday and no one else was using the facility, my dog could play off-leash and seemed to enjoy it. The fresh greenery and night views were beautiful. I would love to visit again during cherry blossom season or autumn foliage.

Although we weren’t traveling for sightseeing, the house was very comfortable and easy to stay in. They responded immediately to our request for kitchen items, and our family was able to spend our time comfortably. There is no parking on-site, but we were able to use a nearby paid parking lot. The host’s warm hospitality made us very satisfied. Thank you very much!

We stayed here with our 2-year-old child and family for the Kushimoto Fireworks Festival on August 2nd! On this day, accommodations in Kushimoto and Shirahama were all expensive, and we almost gave up on attending the festival this year. But then we found this place and were amazed by its affordability! After reading high reviews on other sites, we decided to book here. We arrived early on the day of our stay, but they kindly allowed us to check in early! The room was cool with the air conditioner already running, spacious, clean, and comfortable! It had a refrigerator, microwave, and kettle in the room so we could heat up our bento meals right after arriving. To our surprise, the fridge was stocked with complimentary drinks like juice and tea—such a thoughtful touch ( ; ; )! After playing at the beach, we took a shower and used their drum washing machine for laundry—drying included—and then took a short nap before heading to the fireworks festival. Even though we returned late that night, they waited for us so that we could take another shower before falling fast asleep in bed. In the morning, they served bread, yogurt, meatballs, bananas, vegetable juice, and coffee for breakfast. We also enjoyed chatting with the owner—it was such fun! Later that day when friends joined us with their family car as well (which they kindly let us park), we went river swimming nearby. The river was beautiful; even locals came there to swim! Before leaving for home after taking group photos together with everyone there—we promised to come back again soon! For families traveling with young children like ours (2 years old), having a spacious Japanese-style room along with amenities like baths & washing machines made everything so convenient! The owner’s kindness truly stood out—we’ll definitely stay here again next time!

Last year, I used Maigre for the first time, and this summer, I decided to stay here for two nights after much consideration. The Facility is excellent, and the sauna is absolutely amazing. However, while the water areas were clean as before, the cleaning of the flooring and carpet was not up to par. There was a lot of hair and food crumbs left behind. I ended up using my own wet wipes to clean before settling in. Everything else was perfect, but this aspect was disappointing again this time.

It was a very lovely accommodation. As we are planning our own home, we enjoyed discussing and taking inspiration from this place. If we have another chance to visit Nasu, we would love to stay here again. Thank you so much!

Used for Biwaichi. The smell of the futon (like an old man?) and stains on the sheets were very noticeable. The owner was very friendly and kind. The Room had a retro feel with a stunning lake view! It was so wonderful overall, but the bedding issue was quite disappointing.

We stayed as a family of five (myself, my wife, and our three children) with a Plan that included admission to Nasu Highland Park plus the all-you-can-ride Fantasy Pass. On the morning of our stay, we received the tickets from the owner and enjoyed Nasu Highland Park to the fullest until closing time. After that, we headed to this pension, which is very close—about a 5-minute drive away. When we arrived, the owner and his wife welcomed us warmly, and our travel fatigue melted away. The connecting Room with two adjoining rooms was such a treat for families—our kids were excited saying, “This is different from usual!” The private family bath we reserved before dinner used groundwater, and it warmed us through just like an Onsen—so relaxing and comfortable. Dinner was a course meal, and everything was truly delicious—we were completely satisfied. The highlight was the steak served with a yogurt-based sauce; both my wife and I were genuinely impressed. Rice refills were free, and it was so good that we couldn’t help getting seconds. After dinner there was an impressive variety of desserts—rare cheesecake, caramel pudding, chocolate cake, fruit, and more—and enjoying them with chai tea was perfect. At night it was very quiet around the Accommodation. After the kids fell asleep, my wife and I could relax together. One of our children had a nosebleed at night and slightly stained the sheets. When I told them about it, they smiled and said kindly: “No problem at all. Thank you for letting us know.” They mentioned that some guests leave without saying anything even if something gets dirty; moments like this really showed how warm-hearted they are. Breakfast the next morning featured freshly baked bread with dips and dressings—hearty portions that left us full from early on. We took it easy until close to checkout time before heading home. When we left, they saw us off until our car disappeared from view—it made us feel truly welcomed. Our kids were happy they spoke to them too; even after returning home they kept saying “We want to go again!” It’s about an hour and a half from our house, but this Accommodation left a lasting impression with its relaxed pension atmosphere, heartfelt homemade cooking, and the kindness of the owner couple. We would love to visit again as a family soon.

Stayed for one night over the weekend during the Tour de Okinawa. Since the race starts early Sunday morning, I was looking for accommodation close to Yona, a cheering spot, and found this place. It was so great that I'm considering staying here again next year. The free rental electric assist bicycle (MTB) provided by the accommodation was incredibly useful! After checking in at 3 PM, I scouted out cheering spots and enjoyed riding through Kijoka where the accommodation is located, along Route 58 by the sea towards Kunigami and Ogimi Village. There was a kettle available for borrowing, but I didn't notice it and used the hot/cold water dispenser in the shared space instead. However, there were no mugs in my room—only paper cups from the dispenser—which made it slightly inconvenient. The room was minimalistic and simple but had plenty of power outlets and strong WiFi connectivity, so there were no inconveniences at all. At night, I went out to enjoy stargazing under a quiet sky full of stars on an open field. There were many shooting stars visible. Some lighting adjustments had been made to reduce "light pollution," which I appreciated; however, it could be even darker for better stargazing. I felt that this peaceful natural environment with sounds of insects chirping or birds singing created a relaxing atmosphere while reflecting an eco-friendly policy. However, there's one point I'd like to suggest improving: In an adjacent gallery workshop area nearby where someone young worked solo without headphones playing music quite loudly—it slightly leaked into buildings containing rooms (though once inside my room itself remained quiet). Considering diverse musical tastes nowadays plus how fewer universally loved songs exist across society today compared against past decades alongside growing trends ignoring headphone etiquette altogether publicly broadcasting tunes instead—this being both accommodations' location & guests seeking tranquil nature surroundings perhaps future consideration addressing such matters might enhance experiences further overall? Lastly regarding bedding warmth levels thin futons felt somewhat chilly potentially needing improvement too meanwhile directional clarity surrounding convenience store access ("10 minutes drive" vague north/south?) gas stations absent locally likewise clearer maps highlighting unique regional attractions helpful supplementing mascots/lamp-shade creator details already present within guest guides themselves? Staff interactions friendly approachable throughout stay much appreciated!

It was a wonderful place. Although it’s a traditional farmhouse with a thatched roof, the interior is modern and well equipped with appliances. They also prepared the ingredients for us, so we were able to enjoy our stay with friends. We’d love to come again.

The Facility has a nostalgic Showa-era feel, and because multiple buildings have been combined, the elevator only goes up to the 3rd floor; the top (4th) floor is accessible by stairs. However, if you don’t mind that, it’s a very comfortable stay. Even the standard meals offer a wide variety of dishes and are truly delicious. The Onsen has a mineral quality I’ve never experienced before—so impressive it made me think, “So this is what therapeutic bathing is.” The indoor bath has five washing stations and feels too small for six people at once, but as long as you choose your time wisely, it wasn’t an issue. This is one Hotel I’d love for you to experience at least once. It’s hard to describe, but I can confidently recommend staying here—ideally for a Multiple Night Stay.

We were looking for a spacious Room for a four-generation trip. Both my elderly mother and my toddler grandchild were able to stay comfortably without any inconvenience. Having two toilets was extremely helpful. The bath was also spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was large, with plenty of lovely cookware and cutlery. The knives were exceptionally sharp. We ground coffee beans and brewed coffee, and the flavor was exactly to our liking. The futons were clean and fluffy.

Excellent value for money! The meals were especially good.
